I have a h100i GTX and it shows my pump speed in corsair link but it shows 0 rpm for my radiator fans. I have both fans plugged into the water block and the USB ran on my motherboard. Then I have the waterblock connected to the cpu fan header. Both in bios and in link, it shows 0 rpm for my radiator fans. Any help? The fans are spinning but they are spinning very loud.

I'm using a Corsair H100I GTX on a 4790k stock speed and getting temps of 73C at 60% load during gaming. Also when i put my hand on the back of the rad i can only feel a small amount of warmth coming from the very bottom of the rad. Im using Arctic Silver Ceramique. It also done this with the factory stuff and Arctic Silver 5. I have the fans pulling air and the tubes are on the bottom of the rad. Do you think it might not have been filled properly? Don't think its gunked since its always acted like this. The case its in is a Antec 1200 way more than enough ventilation. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I have built my first PC in September and everything was thankfully running smoothly. I recently took out my cables in order to cable manage my computer and took off my h100i gtx plate thing because the logo was upside down. When I attached the AIO cooler again, I used arctic silver 5 thermal paste on my cpu and connected everything back. When I started my PC everything ran normally but when I tried to watch a video my cpu heated up to 60-70 degrees Celsius. I have been trying many different methods to reapply the thermal paste, yet I have not found anything that works. I am honestly scared to run my computer because when I begin my antivirus program (Norton), my cpu rapidly ramps up to 90-100 degrees. I immediately stop the scan and the temperatures plummet to 40 degrees. Does anyone know what I can do to fix the issue? I have almost used the entire tube of thermal paste trying different solutions.

Against the better judgement of fellow forum members, I decided to mod my H100i GTX to have a 280mm radiator. Please note that I had already voided my warranty long before doing this project. For the radiator I decided to go with Black Ice's Nemesis L-Series 280mm Stealth radiator: http://www.performance-pcs.com/black-ice-nemesis-l-series-280-stealth-radiator.html two of Bitspower's 3/8 ID 5/8 OD matte back fittings: http://www.performance-pcs.com/fittings-connectors/bitspower-g1-4-black-matte-compression-fitting-cc3-ultimate-for-id-3-8-od-5-8.html and two140mm EKWB Vardar F2 fans to finish it off. I started by removing the tubes from the old radiator, and quite unsurprisingly it was aluminum. Next I took the pump/waterblock apart so I could remove the tubes and flush them and the waterblock seperately. @For Science! warned me that bleeding this thing would be a pain in the ass. They were correct. I had to fill the radiator, then mount the tubes to it and fill those on the radiator, and then fill the waterblock and jankily push it back onto the filled tubes without loosing too much water from the components while pushing them together. I finally got all the bubbles out, did a super sketch mod to my S340 so I could mount the radiator before the fans and BAM it's done! But I have to post the picture in the next post because my camera takes ~6.2MB imgaes

I've had my H100i since late 2015 with my old Haswell-E processor. But recently i switched to a Ryzen 1700 and i've been trying to overclock it. It's currently at 3.7GHz 1.375v .Everytime I run a stresstest or even cinebench, it rises to over 100°C even if i have the pump and fans running at full speed. My idle temp is 45-60°C. Is it the cooler? Thanks in advance for the answers!

Hello everyone, I bought my water cooler (A H100I GTX) online about a year and a half ago. However, when it receives a shock- Say for example my leg bumps the desk- It starts to make this really awful noise, much like a really loud fan. The only way to reset it is to turn the computer off or, using the corsair link application, turning it up to maximum power and waiting for a bit. I really don't like this, and I'm not sure what to do about it... Any help would be appreciated! Regards, Redturtle098

I am wondering if I am able to install a corsair h100i gtx(mounted on top of the case in push) as exhaust in the corsair 400c with an MSI Z170A GAMING M5 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard and 16 gigs(4x4) of PNY anarchy ram. I am hoping there are no clearance issues, mainly because I will have to rethink my case cooling solution. Please help. Thanks for your time! Here is the PCPartPicker link to my build: PCPartPicker Link: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/PLqH2R

Im going to be pretty much building an entire new rig within the next month, and Im looking at places to cut some prices down.. I bought an H100i GTX last summer, would it be okay to reuse it on a new build? Its barely gone through anything, not even overclocking.

Hey guys...this might be a kind of stupid question, but will a Corsair h100i GTX fit in my Corsair Spec-02? i only ask this because I was making my build on pcpartpicker and it said the two weren't compatible....I want to save up and get the h100i and a i5 4690k but i don't want to save an extra $100+ for the h100i if it won't fit in my case . Thanks for any help

Hey I am Upgrading my pc. I dont own a graphic card. So i wanna go for r9 390/r9 390x.Am really tight on budget.i Own a Intel 4790 k it is overheating so i thought of going for liquid cooling so corsair h100i gtx is my choice. And if i wanna mount the radiator my case does not support it. So i am confused whether to go for The graphic card Or Buy H100i gtx and Mastercase pro 5/Nzxt Noctis 450.And am also confused on which case to buy Mastercase pro 5 or noctis 450.I hope Somebody could solve it out. Cause i cant decide.. Those 2 are too close.. Edit: System Specs 4790k Msi z97 Corsair vengeance Segate 1tb hhd Sandisk 120 gb ssd Vs550 watt

Is it worth buying h100i gtx from corsair if i already have noctua's nh-d14? because my friend keep saying to me that watercooling or clc will be always better than air and cools better, but pretty much all answers on other forums are - they perform the same, air wont fail like clc, and air coolers dont have that noise like clc pump and stock fans will have. So is it worth even trying? because i dont want spend 100 pounds for same performing cooler PS. my rig: AMD FX-8350 @ 4.2Ghz| Noctua NH-D14| Gigabyte R9 290X Factory OC| ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0| Samsung 840 Evo 120GB| G.Skill Ripjaws X 8GB 1333Mhz| Seasonic M12II-850 Evo| Windows 10 Pro|3 x Noctua NF-S12A FLX at top, one NF-S12A FLX at rear, one NF-S12A FLX at front with NF-P12 in front of drive cage, one NF-P12 at bottom and all of that is in IN WIN GRone case.

Current stock fans that came included with my H100i GTX liquid cooler are luid, especially when they ramp up RPM. They idle at 1000 RPM and go up to 1900 while gaming. What about these Cooler Master Silencio FP120 PWM? https://www.alternate.nl/Cooler-Master/Silencio-FP120-Case-fan-/html/product/1153872?tk=7&lk=9346 They produce 16dB max @ 1400 RPM 12V wich means idle they will be dead silent and when gaming they will be barely noticable, but, are they static pressure optimized? If not, what are good fans for max 15 euro & max 20 dB? Greetings.

Hey guys. Today i cleaned out my pc (from dust). Cleaned the filters , the H100i GTX rad, etc in a manly or not so manly fashion When i waned to boot my system it booted nicely but the pump unit started to make a different noise and my idle temps are around 80-90°C (2% load),on that point i knew something is wrong. After a couple reboots and unscrewing the rad the pump started to sound normal again but the temps stayed. While dusting i just unscrewed the radiator . unscrewed the fans and unplugged them from the pump splitter. undusted the rad and attached and plugged in the fans and screwed the rad back into my case. The H100i hoses didn't bend or streched in an unhealthy way. My rig booted nicely like usual into my OS (except the temps). So i think its only the cpu cooler that is showing some problems. Since it is weekend and the stores are closed i couldn't try to remove the H100i GTX unit enitrely yet and fitting the stock intel cooler (due to i dont have termal paste laying around). i'll do that when i can so i can troubleshoot if its something else. Going for the assumption there is something wrong with the AIO unit. Can you guys perhaps help me to solve this issue? because i don't know what to do. - Will just reseating the Pump unit with new thermal paste be enough? - Or do i suddenly have a faulthy unit on my hands ? - .... Thanks in advance for your advice Greets A sad Synergie

My setup is a NZXT H440, MSI Z97A Gaming 7, 4790K, and a Corsair H100i GTX. I have the Corsair mounted in the top with two Noctua 120mm PWM fans mounted on it. No OC at all. It's set up to push out the top cover. With the top cover on the H440, my CPU rockets up to 80 degrees celsius under load. When i take the top cover off it drops to 65 degrees under load. I can't mount it in the front because of hard drives. Anyone else experience this or have this issue?

So I have an h H100i GTX, right? It's pretty good, like it keeps my CPU cool (like it's supposed to). But, I go back and forth between my parents' house, and that requires me unplugging my PC and carrying it over. EVERY TIME I PLUG IT IN AT THE NEW HOUSE, THE DRIVER, (corsair link) DOESN'T RECOGNIZE IT'S THERE. Like, I try re-plugging in the dongle that goes straight to the motherboard, but nothing works. I have to reinstall Corsair Link EVERY TIME. Nothing I've found has solved the problem. Any help?

I am trying to install the h100i gtx onto my Corsair 400r case but the heat sink of my gigabyte motherboard is obstructing some of the space i need. This is my motherboard i am trying to remove the heat sink on the top. Do you think that removing the heatsink would cause any problems? Thanks for any responses

Hey guys I’ll be building my first system in a few days, buy I’m currently torn up between which all-in-one liquid cooler I should get for my case (red/black NZXT H440). So far I’ve looked at these coolers: Corsair H100i GTX and NZXT X61. My reason for going with the H100i GTX would be the corsair link compatibly (which I am going to use) and the sexy fans I’ll be able to install with it (Corsair SP120 Quiet edt.). These fans will fit perfectly in my build, as I’m going for a clean, aesthetically pleasing PC. My reason for going with the NZXT X61 would be: Performance, the big, RGB changeable name (which would fit nicely with my case, as it obviously says "NZXT" and yes I know the H100i GTX also can change color, but it's simply to small and would look weird inside of the next H400, though I can deal with this) and size. I don't like this cooler, because there's currently no Corsair SP140 fans with interchangeable rings yet, which means I would have to go with the red led SP140 corsair fans, which in my opinion looks hideous, but I shan't judge them, because I’ve yet to see a red h440 case with these fans, so if you have any pictures I would be forever grateful. Also if you have some extra minutes to spare and take a look at my build and come with suggestions I would be even more grateful. To summarize: I don't know if I should go with the X61 or the H100i GTX because of the fans and other small things, but mostly because of the fans (how stupid it may even sound). This is what I prefer over each other; I prefer the H100i GTX to the X61 because of: - Aesthetics (the fans). - Corsair link compatibility. I prefer the X61 to the H100i GTX because: - Performance. - RGB changeable name. (My build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/niels.nielsen/saved/#view...)

Hello LTT forum! I'm relatively new to the forums but not new to the LTT channel so if I make any posting misstakes, please forgive me. But now I am in need of help, and I would be truly grateful if someone took the time to respond and help me. I need help on how to configure the h100i GTX in a Phanteks EVOLV ATX case. I probably want the rad at the top of the case going down to my CPU as I've seen in some pictures. However I want a pull configuration so I can easily clean the rad as explained in this video*. Does anyone know if this works having the fans on top of the rad and case but still getting good airflow and temps? If not do you have any other possible configurations for the rad that still works? I don't want to setup the rad at the front of the case. Anyways very thankful for help and have a great weekend!

i have a corsair h100i gtx liquid cooler with asus maximus vii hero motherboard! every time when my pc boots up a error occurs stating 'CPU FAN ERROR'! i have plugged the pump connector to cpu_fan header in the motherboard as stated by the corsair installation manual. i have been googling for this issue for some time and here's what i got:- 1) some said disable fan control for CPU_FAN header in the bios. 2)some said to use molex to 3 pin adpter and power the pump from the psu. what should i do? anyone here who faced the same issue?

I am buying an H100i GTX and am going to replace the fans. I was wondering what are the best 120mm fans for the radiator.

i hope this is the correct topic, maybe it has to be moved Case: beQuiet SilentBase 600 ( i removed the bequiet purewings ) actual rig in signature TOP -> H100i GTX "stock" ( i think there was a dustfilter on top too ) FRONT -> Noctua NF A14 "FLX" ca 1200 RPM @ 18 dB + dustfilter BACK -> Noctua NF F12 "FLX" ca 1200 RPM @ 19 dB bottom -> PSU exhaust + dustfilter fan placement rig ( needs to be turned around -> 90° ) ambient temperatures are 10-15°C day, night open window 1m on the right beside the pc outside air -2°C actually idle temps GPU <30°C load sometimes up to 50-60°C with fans spinning 50-60% idle temps CPU ca 40°C load ca 60-65°C devils canyon OC runs @ 4,6ghz (didnt try to get it higher) 1. are the vents good enough for the top? because it feels like only 1 fan could exhaust and the other blows against the case 2. the only thing i can hear are the aio pump + fans 3. is there a chance to reduce the voltage for the pump so it wont run 100% when the cpu only has 50-60°C 4. should i change the fan setup in any way? back to intake or something like that? the AIO fans are connected to the pump but i'll swap it to mainboard connectors possible solution for 2. i was thinking about 2 linus-style Noctua NF F12 "PWM": 22,4dB max 1500RPM static pressure 2,61mmH2O "air rate" 93,4m³/h instead of the standard Corsair H100i GTX :37,7dB max 2500RPM static pressure 4,65 mmH2O "air rate" 70,69m³/h or would you suggest some other "silent" pressure fans sorry for the bad quality i took the pics with my old wooden sony xperia typo newer will be made with oneplus2 if necesary i could take some more pictures of the complete setup etc later when i'm home current desktop setup current desktop setup with new display ;O thanks in advance

i have just ordered a corsair air 240. i have tried researching this best i can, with the result of confusion. i will be having an ITX mobo with z170 chipset in the 240; along with the 6600k cpu that i will want to try and overclock it to around 4.6 what i am trying to figure out is what the best way cool the cpu while not raising temperature with the GPU too much in the case. im debating between the corsair h100i gtx, be quiet pure rock, noctua nh-u12s. lastly, i do want to keep the noise down as much as possible. i read that the h100i gtx can be very loud, but i am not sure how true that is. what cpu cooling solution is best to overclock in the corsair air 240, while keeping the noise down in the case? thanks.
