I currently have a GTX 1060 6gb and due to the prices I'm not upgrading anytime soon, but I would love to play the Halo Infinite (especially SP). Will 60fps be possible on this GPU with decent graphics? Seeing that Xbox One X will have a 60fps mode, I suppose it will be possible. What do you guys think?

Yes, to be honest, the Nvidia gtx 1060 6gb is still capable of 1080p gaming at 60 fps or even more depending on the game and the settings. You can still play triple-A titles using that GPU. It is not worth buying a new one, but if you already own a 1060 there is no hurry to upgrade. Here you can find some quick benchmarks of the GPU video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kff6y2cHJnE performance on paper:https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Nvidia-GTX-1060-6GB/Rating/3639 I hope you guys have got an idea about the 1060 graphics card in 2020. Thanks for reading... Here is how it looks like ...

Will a i7 4770 make a big difference over a i5 6400 with a gtx 1060 6GB? or will the gpu be maxed out by both and show no gains? If i bought the i5 6400, i could squeeze an ssd into my budget, or some other £45 upgrade. The price delta is £45, with the i5 costing £120 and the i7 costing £165 (both are used, from Cex with warranty). The motherboard etc is around the same price. I would need a cooler for them both, but no overclocking would take place. this is the i7 build https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/vzMGHN and this is the i5 build (for some reason the i5 4430 costs the same. and the 4460 costs more) https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/BnHvm8

I just got the gtx 1060 6gb and it feels like its being bottlenecked I'm not sure though... I have a intel core i5 4670k socket 1150 GA-Z87-HD3 ATX Mother board and 8gb vengeance ddr3 ram.. I'm thinking about getting a i5 7600k instead and a z170 gaming k3 motherboard and ddr4 ram Will this make a big diffrence ? By the way my processor and motherboard are like 3 years old now.

It's three or four days until I order my PC parts, and I'd like to get my build checked out. PCPartPicker part list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/yGvKxY Price breakdown by merchant: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/yGvKxY/by_merchant/ CPU: Intel Core i7-4770 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor (£155.00 @ Cex) Motherboard: MSI B85M-G43 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£55.80 @ Alza) Memory: ADATA XPG V1.0 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£42.77 @ Amazon UK) Storage: Seagate BarraCuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£35.94 @ Aria PC) Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GT OCV1 Video Card (£209.98 @ Novatech) Case: Thermaltake Versa H22 Window ATX Mid Tower Case (£28.00 @ Aria PC) Power Supply: Corsair CXM 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply (£46.96 @ Ebuyer) Total: £574.45 I am going to wait a week or 2 until i can afford the 1060 6gb over the 480 4gb, but buy everything else asap. I might be able to snipe a cheap R9 390X for around £120, If I can, I'll buy a beefier PSU for more headroom. I know R9 cards are getting kind of old, but that price is a steal and would allow more for other components or games The 390X is now £150 and rising. I also might buy 16 GB of generic/unknown RAM off cex for £10 less than 8 new. If they are ugly, ill buy a couple ram heatspreaders and replace em. Is this a bad idea? Other than that, how does this look?

So I am currently helping out a friend pick out a graphics card and would like to hear some of your guys' thoughts. He plans on using a ryzen 5 1600 with 16gb of ram. He just does not know which gpu to buy because the gtx 1060 6gb is a bit cheaper yet the rx 580 does offer more vram.

Hi I'm about to get ryzen 5 1600x as soon as it hits the market so I need a GPU for that but I'm not able to decide and I'm on a budget of ₹20,000 can anybody help me? I asked at other places and people said that the gigabyte rx480 8gb is not good as their temperature gets higher than other cards and I live in India so the ambient temperature of my computer room will be higher than usual

Hey all! Been lurking forums for a while and decided to join a few back. Just built my first PC not too long ago and wanted to show it off! I had been rocking a laptop for college, a dinky Lenovo Yoga 2 13, and while I could play League of Legends just okay, the little thing just didn't like my taste in games. I knew I wanted a beautiful custom built PC that could handle 1080p so I began researching. Few guides I read said to start with a case and go from there, so I did. I knew I wanted to go with a mini ITX mobo and after some digging I went with the Phanteks Enthoo Evolve ITX. I don't like flashy and this guy was simple enough with a spacious window. From there it was pretty straight forward. I could only find a few builds in the Evolve ITX online so I wanted to see what I could do with it. I got an M.2 Samsung 850 SSD to reduce cables, though I know it doesn't have the full PCIe speeds. I went with an AIO cooler so I could open up the view in the window, since the case has limited space inside. The red/black theme was easy to build for so I went for it (I know it's basic). Gigabyte GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 Mobo Intel Core i5 6600K CPU Corsair h100i v2 AIO cooler Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM MSI GTX 1060 6GB Gaming X 6G GPU Corsair CX550M PSU Samsung 850 Evo 250GB M.2 SSD Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX Case Phanteks PWM Fan Hub 3X Corsair AF140 Red LED Fans I liked it at first but the hose lines on the AIO were bent awkwardly and I lost my space for the hard drive I'm going to throw in soon. I ended up top mounting the radiator like everyone else to open up the drive bays again and so I could improve the LED lighting. Initially I was hoping that 3 red corsair AF140 fans would be bright enough, but I was disappointed with the lackluster lumens. So I piked up a cablemod 30cm red strip and stuck it up behind on the mounting rack. To note, I was very pleased with how well the radiator looks with the window panel on, as the window width just about matches that of the radiator. I also did a little cable cleanup and addressed my GPU sag. I had seated it with the case upright to start and it was keeling over like my late grandfather, making me concerned for it's health. Reseating the massive MSI GPU with the case on it's side, along with some support from the 4pin cable did the trick. Much better! I built a lot towards aesthetic a lot here. I could've got a much more powerful system for the same price, but I like pretty things so I'm happy with her. I felt the GTX 1060 would be good enough since I'm only gaming at 1080p, which opened up some budget for the good looks. Sometime next summer I'll look to upgrade to a Kaby Lake i7 (hoping my mobo will have support then) and possibly a GTX 1080 when I get the funds.

Hello guys, i need your help again. As the community standards pointed out that everyone has to write 5 points in the New Builds and Planning section 1. Budget & Location I live in the silly place for computer parts, because they don't think that Xeons are cheap, they think it is so awesome They also give ridiculous pricing for Graphics card! like $480 for RX 580 4GB. The PC Part Picker of Indonesia for used and new parts are : -OLX.co.id -https://www.bukalapak.com/ My budget is around Rp.14.655.443 ($1100). Also the currency is Rupiah (IDR) 2. Aim I am gonna be using my PC for Streaming and Gaming, specifically at 1080p 60Hz and FHD Quality Stream. But my games are gonna be Need for Speed series, Minecraft and Games like Crysis 3 3. Monitors Just a Samsung 1080p Curved 40 inch TV, and is it worth if i exchange for the LG's Largest 4K Monitor 43UD79? I bought the FHD TV For like $446 New when 2015 4. Peripherals I already hunted for Logitech equipments Like G413 keyboard and G403 Mouse. Also a Razer Kraken Pro is bundled with my upcoming PSU 5. Why am i upgrading? I already have a super old PC (LGA 775) and i think i can sell it for $121 (if you want the specs of it tell me) so i can make the PC Price not so Expensive. So finally coming to the Bundle ($550.26) -Core i5 6400 lga 1151 Skylake-Zotac Nvdia Geforce GTX 1060 6gb-Motherboard MSI H110 PRO Micro ITX-Powersupply be quiet! System Power 8 500w i can add this RAM and Case Team Elite 16GB DDR4-2400 (2x8GB) $158.69 Corsair Carbide 330r : $50.92 so Total it is gonna be $759.87 for overall parts, is it worth it guys? and do you suggest any changes to parts? let me know in the comments and Thank you

Can amd ryzen5 1600 and gtx 1060 6gb oc hit 500fps on minecraft?
-
So I have been having this issue lately and i haven't seem to understand why. The issue is I put in a brand new graphics card in my system and i was expecting to get good fps like on PUBG and I look at videos of people using the same graphics card and having almost double the fps i am getting, and its infuriating so i began to think it might have been my setup I have... CPU: AMD FX 8300 at stock speed 3.30 Ghz Motherboard: asrock 970a g/3.1 Ram: 12 gb of G.Skilz 1600 Graphics Cards: GTX 1060 6GB and a GTX 750 ti 2GB TF And simple storage and stuff like that and i figured that maybe my game was mixing up my graphics cards so i decided to take out the GTX 750 ti and the fps went up maybe by 5 but nothing close to what I've been seeing and it cant be a software issue because i made sure i had everything downloaded and I'm still extremely confused and i dont want to reset my computer if i dont have to

(I HAVE EDITED AND REMOVED THE PRICES, TO FOCUS ON THE RADIATOR TICKNESS INSTEAD / I'VE ALSO ADDED MORE COMPONENTS THAT I'VE BOUGHT) Hi guys, I need some info on a water cooling loop I wanna do. So, i got the 'Sharkoon QB-ONE' pc case, which supports a dual 120mm or (240mm) at the top of a maximum 5cm(50mm) height(no fans) or 2,5cm(25mm) height(with fans). Also I can add a 8cm(80mm) rad at the back of the case. GPU: EVGA SC 1060 6GB (ITX) --------- --------- At first i wasn't planning to go water, but i think i can improve the temps, currently at 70ºC on max (aida64 StressTest / Forza H / The Division). Idles temps are great at 29-39ºC. I plan on getting a copper rad, cause i don't want to worry about corrosion. BUT, if i add both the cpu and gpu on the same loop, will temps drop ? which rad tickness should i get ? Parts so far: CPU Block - banggood link GPU Bloco - banggood link + Pump - aliexpress link 90º fittings x 2 - aliexpress link barb fittings - 4 - aliexpresslink Reservoir - Swiftech MCRES-Micro - Rev 2 (cause of the tiny space in the itx case) Concentrate - EK-CryoFuel Clear Concentrate 100 mL ------------------------- I already got a be quiet 120 pwm fan that i'll probably use. If not maybe i'll get 2 Vardars. I still have to buy the rad and the tubing. There will be a quick disconnect for draining the loop. This will be easilly acessable tru the side panel. Let me know what you think about what rad i should get to dissipate all the heat.

Hi. I would like to apologize in advance for probably asking this question for a bajillionth time. Due to over budgeting the other components in my build, my choice for graphics card boiled down to these two famous lower-mid range cards. The RX 580 8gb and the GTX 1060 6GB. If my main use case is to do 1080p video editing, photo editing and some occasional casual gaming, which one of the two should I get? I used Adobe Premier for a while now and heard that it doesn't play well with AMD GPUs. I could switch to a different program like DaVinci Resolve if the benefits outweigh the setback the but it's gonna take some time to adjust. I'm going to pair it with the R7 2700x and 16GB of 3000mhz ram if this information helps. Thanks a lot for reading.

I have 2 displays, a Dell 1080p monitor and a 4k Sceptre TV. The monitor is connected with a DP to DVI cable, and the TV is connected with an HDMI. The monitor works fine, but the TV only works on 1080p 60Hz or 4k 30Hz, when I set it to 4k 60Hz, the tv says no signal. But here's the weird part, this setup worked perfectly when I used the dvi connector on the GPU. Why not just use the dvi then? Well, this card can only output to 2 displays when using the dvi connector (amazing engineering), hence why I bought the DP to DVI so I could use more than 2 monitors. GPU: Gigabyte gtx 1060 xtreme gaming 6GB TV: Sceptre W55 (has hdmi 2.0 and it is enabled) The cable is also capable of 4k at 60Hz
