Recently my Asus GL503GE started to lag(cannot go above 10-15 fps) in all games(and some normal apps). Here are the specs: CPU: I7-8750H GPU: GTX 1050ti RAM: 16 GB Storage: Windows 10 on a 120GB Adata SSD, and a 1TB HDD. I have tried reinstalling my display drivers, set my games to use the Nvidia GPU in the Nvidia control panel and the Windows Graphics preferences settings, use the 'best performance' power plan, but nothing has worked. I also have the latest BIOS version for my laptop and the latest Windows updates. When I play a game, the Nvidia GPU stays at 0% most of the time, but does random spikes of activity to 100% and the Intel GPU stays between 10% and 50%, with some random spikes to 100% as well. Here is a screenshot just after I shut down Elden Ring: What can I try to fix this?

My GTX 1050 Ti started exhibiting some very worrisome behavior. It was fine up until a couple hours ago, when it started to suddenly crash. I was playing a game and chatting with a friend when all of a sudden BAM. black screen and both Discord and the game I was playing (Genshin Impact) crashed. Upon further testing, I discovered this crash happens only under 3D loads. Video decoding/encoding and normal desktop use are normal still. EDIT: Forgot to add system specs. My apologies. CPU: Xeon-e3 1230v2 RAM: 2x8GB DDR3 from Kingston (99U5403-159.A01LF) GPU: GTX 1050 TI MOBO: ASRock H61M-VS PSU: Gigabyte P450B In Event Viewer, it shows the following structure of errors. (Latest one is on the top) - Display warning (Error ID 4101) - nvlddmkm Error (Error ID 0) - nvlddmkm Error (Error ID 0) - nvlddmkm Error (Error ID 0) - nvlddmkm Error (Error ID 0) Inside any of the four errors, contains the following (xx changes every time, increasing by one) \Device\000000xx Restarting (or Reset) TDR occurred on GPUID:100 That sequence happens between 1-120s of starting any 3D load. And if too many happen in sequence (A.K.A The app doesn't fully crash) the pc will freeze with a black screen and require a restart. I already ran DDU and reinstalled the latest driver (I was using an old version when it started (546.33), and it continued happening even in the latest one (551.23)). I am tech savvy enough to have collected a HWINFO log of it happening (I ran 3DMARK Firestrike - it lasted for about 2 minutes) Which I'll be attaching to this post - but I don't really know if any of it CAN indicate some issue. Some other things: - I have no other PC to test the GPU in (However, I do have a friend with a gaming PC that I could use, but he is busy currently, and will travel tomorrow morning, only to be back at next Wednesday.) - I have no money to buy any replacement GPU nor to repair this one, and my system has no iGPU (Ivy Bridge Xeon e3) so in the case of it ACTUALLY being dead, I'll have to deal with it. - Lastly, this GPU has already been repaired once, a whole year go. It was gifted to me by a friend that lives near the sea, so it had some corrosion issues on the memory modules. Has been running FLAWLESSLY since then, up until today. UPDATE: It died for good now GPU Log.CSV

I mean no one has to tell me that my PC is shitty I already know it... Back then I got offered that PC from my parents after asking for one, back then I didn't know shit about PC's. Now I would say I know very basic things, so I want to improve my hardware abit. My only problem is that I don't know enough to do it on my own, so I'm asking in that forum for help... I got a Medion (microstar professional p46013) PC with: - GTX 1050 ti 4GB -i5 7400 -12GB DDR4 2400MHz (originaly 8GB) - H110H4-EM2 (Mainboard) I allready added some GB's to the RAM which was originaly 8GB. I do play some video games where my Pc starts to struggle, for example Call of Duty Cold War which I wanted to play because of a Friend of mine... I also had a problem a half year ago where my PC also had some problems, back then I just added some RAM to fix it which actually helped. But this time I kinda think like that it could be the CPU even if the graphics card isn't that good I think it should be good enough to handle it... What should I do I thought I could buy an i5 9400F, but then I would also need to buy a new Mainboard which most likely would be the B360 by Asus or I could buy the i5 8400 with the Mainboard: B360-Plus those were my thoughts, but like I said I'm not good enough in that kind of topic, so I wanted to hear some opinions and maybe even some better build ideas. You can also ask me stuff about my PC where I can maybe give you some information if you need some, you can also tell me if I should be upgrading something else than the CPU and Motherboard. I am also aware of the fact that the prices raised cause of the current economical situation worldwide, which doesn't make it easy to find a price-performance wise good stuff at all. But keep in mind that I live in Germany, I am a student which doesn't have that much money. I also link some pictures of my PC (Task manager) I know that it's in German, but I think you should be able to identify what that means by the "units".

Hello, I am running a ryzen 5 5600x with a msi 1050ti, and am getting constant lag spikes. Neither of them are overclocked at all. My os is Windows 11 21H2 64bit of course. My psu is a seasonic FOCUS PX-750 running at 750W. My motherboard is a gigabyte b550 gaming x (v.1 i think) bios version F14e. Haven't messed with any bios settings besides xmp. I also have 32gb of teamgroup t-force vulcan z ddr4 which is at 3200mhz, xmp is on didn't make a custom profile or anything just used the default one in the bios. I noticed this happening in DOOM 2016 and payday 2. It doesn't happen in league of legends though, haven't tried any other games. Here is a screenshot of doom showing the lagspike, it happens anywhere in the game even the menus. I also wasn't perfect at timing it but it seems its happening every 6 seconds.

Budget (including currency): 500 USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Single player sight seeing games (Nier, Witcher, ect) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Ryzen 1700 + GTX1050ti on an HP 20wm My monitor is begging to die and need to get another one, but i know that my 1050ti cant really do 1440p and i would have to scale it down to 1080p or 720p, neither of which I want to really do because I have heard the 1080 on 1440 looks blurry and 720 is less than what i am running now. I dont feel like spending money to go backwards and have lower quality than i do on console. So my question is, how much does it take to run just normal computing on a 4k monitor and game down to 1080p? Can i get a 4k monitor for normal use and still play games at 1080p60 or does the monitor and processing it down take too much to be able to do it till i can get a better card? (I put it here and not in monitors because I am not looking for a monitor recommendation necessarily, just trying to figure out what i should do)

Hi, I have been trying to troubleshoot this issue with my PC since the Windows 10 1803 update rolled out and not been able to fix that issue till today. Games and also Windows 10 UI stutter on transitions and extreme frame drops while gaming. I've tried Google for diff. solutions including clean memory cache, clean install, updating drivers and bios and Clean boot. Still haven't been able to identify the root cause of the issue. Has anyone encountered this issue and were you able to fix it? Please let me know. My PC Specs: CPU: Intel Core i5 3550 Motherboard: Asus P8B75-V Ram: Adata 8GB 1600MHz single channel SSD: WD Green 256GB HDD: Seagate Baracuda 7200RPM 1TB PSU: Cooler Master MasterWatt 550W Thanks in advance

Hi guys, my PC crashes randomly for no reason at first I thought it is due to Hard disk failure coz its the only old product (almost 10+ years old). A couple of days back I bought a new Hard disk and issue still persists. Can you guys help me with my issue. When I tried to stress test the CPU and GPU it Passed the test and then after a while I crashed randomly. I have attached a video in which it crashed instantly after booting. I just installed afterburner and Core Voltage, Power Limit, Temp. Limit, and Fan Speed are all locked. I have enabled "unlock voltage control" and "unlock voltage monitoring" in the settings. I have a thinkpad x1 extreme (gen1) with a gtx 1050 ti. If anyone can tell me how to unlock all these options, that would be great. Thx.

Hey guys I was upgrading my old system and want some suggestion for a Gpu. My current setup is Cpu: i5 2500k MB: Intel DH67BL GPU: Radeon Hd6750 RAM: Corsair Vengeance 4x2 HDD: Samsung 840 120gb + Seagate 1Tb Monitor: Lg E2041 (20" with 1600x900 resolution So i am confused between the GTX 1050ti and the GTX 1060 3gb version? According to http://thebottlenecker.com/ 1050ti is the best buy as it will not bottle neck with my cpu. But it does not have a power connector. And so i am thinking for a 1060 3gb.

Since I upgraded my gtx 750ti to 1050ti I have stuttering in all my games (even low spec games). However, the stuttering basically goes away when I set dynamic super resolution (DSR) to x1.2 (native resolution) in Nvidia Control Panel. Can anyone explain what's going on? Does the gtx 1050ti run better at a higher resolution? I'm thinking of getting a 1080p monitor now... My specs: Athlon x4 860k GTX 1050 ti 8GB RAM 1680x1050 TV

i have sevral GPUs around that i could nic the coolers of, they will probably become powerboards and sent to Buildzoid or something so i have a bunch of coolers around, but i dont know if i could strap them to an RX 470/RX 570 or a GTX 1050TI, so if anyone has one or just straight up knows the distance between the holes that would be great would help me quite a bit when looking for cards for the Toaster Project if i could strap one on there

So, recently I posted here checking if I could get a Rx 460 on my system, which now I know I can, so Im aiming for a Gtx 1050ti and then someone suggested I could use a Molex to 8 Pin to power a greater graphics card so I'm thinking how good is this idea and should I use some extra buck and buy a Gtx 1060 and power it with one of this adapters???

Last August, I constructed my first pc and used an 2XOC Windforce750ti. It was nice until I tried 1080p or high detail. For graduate my aunt gave me enough to afford the 1050ti. I got mine for 110usd and hope to sell my 750ti for maybe 60-80 usd. I think it should get this price for the perfect condition, 6 pin connector for greater over clocking headroom, and stable OC of 250mhz core boost and 500mhz memory. Do you think this was a good price for the 1050ti and am I asking too much for the 750ti?

Hi! So I am looking for a used video card for one of my PC builds and I came across a used GTX 960 on Craigslist for $150. Now I know that currently you can buy a new GTX 1050ti on B&H for $135 so I was wondering how much is the 960 really worth? Because I know that $150 for a used card when you can buy a brand new card for less is a bit nuts. What are your guys inputs? How much would YOU be willing to pay for a used GTX 960 knowing that a GTX 1050ti would perform near identical while being much more energy efficient and costing less. $135 GTX 1050ti https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1292188-REG/evga_04g_p4_6251_kr_geforce_gtx_1050_ti.html

So I'm looking to buy a graphics card. Currently I have none. So thing is, I can get Asus Strix 1050ti for about 50€ less than a RX470. Is it worth paying that much more for RX? I also assume i5 4430 won't be bottleneck?

Hey I will be exchanging my amd A10 for a Pentium G4560, because wow, starcraft and planetaside requir a lot of single core performance, whihc intel has supposedly better. With that I will be using a gtx 1050Ti, and my question was, if I could connect my main monitor to the gpu and game on it, while having the second one or third one connected to the motherboard for stuff like chrome while im playing, and if I could make the connectio inbetween them, like if I was running alll of them of the gpu.
