Hi guys My computer when stood doing nothing, the screen keeps flickering, I've tried a clean install of nvidia drivers using ddu but the problem still persists. I'm using a rtx 3070ti. When running Valley benchmark Mark I get 75c on the clock and 81c on memory And 88.4c on hot spot. Is the memory failing on the gpu? I also purchased it 2nd hand, the person who sold it to me only had a month then upgraded it. He gave me the proof of purchase, (and was the main reason why i purchased it of ebay in the first place) the gpu is only a just over a year old, would I be able to claim on the warranty of the card?

Recently i bought a second hand gtx 1080 strix and while i’m gaming it works fine, until it reaches above 55°c (exact). It thank still works but asa it cools down it fails with flashing screen and than it freezes. Somebody any suggestions?

So I have a mx 130 and UHD600 in my laptop, and when I try to open Epic games launcher, the whole laptop freezes, and is deadlocked the only option left is to reset via power button, but if I disable any of the one graphics card via device manager and then try everything seems to work fine, it's not just with Epic games launcher, games apart from epic store seem to do this too. I have performed memory and processor check via windows memory diagnostics and intel processor utility, Both graphic cards have updated drivers and windows is also completely updated, what's happening? Has some component failed or the drivers are messing around? Please help me!, Thanks in advance

Hi, first post here. Have had this problem since January when I put together this computer. This is my second self built computer over the past 10 years, so I am a novice however would like to think I have done some reasonable due diligence trying to diagnose the problem. The computer was built with new components (minus the GPU) in January. I have consistently had Black Screens and program crashes when running semi demanding/demanding games. System Specs: Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX X670E-E CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X (AM5) RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 2x16 GB DDR5-6000, installed in A2/B2 DIMM slots Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2 GPU: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2070 PSU: Corsair RM850x 850 W See attachment with the common error that occurs, also attached event files if useful. I have spent the past 3 months reviewing various nvlddmkm error solutions over the internet, and not one has worked. A list of solutions I have tried, but not limited to: - Factory Default overclock/bios - Turning XMP off - Underclocking RAM - Power Plan (GPU max performance) - Turning off Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling - Underclocking GPU (somewhat works, but still occurs less frequently) - DDU reinstall of graphics drivers - Updated graphics drivers (NVIDIA) - Updated chipset - Ran Graphics Benchmark tests, all run fine no problem. No stutters, no crashing, all on max settings. - Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool, no problems detected. Running non-intensive graphic games poses no problem. Games that have crashed: Valheim Hell Let Loose Last Epoch I have logged 2 example crashes using GPU-Z's text logger, and uploaded/formatted in Google Sheets if there is any useful information there. GPU-Z reports in Google Sheets, at the time of crashes. <- CRASH LOCATION IS BOLDED IN SHEET I am at a bit of a deadend when it comes to self-diagnosis and troubleshooting, any suggestions welcome. CARD: 4GB MSI GTX 980 GAMING 4G Twin FrozrV, PCIe 3.0, 7010MHz GDDR5, GPU 1216MHz, Boost 1317MHz, Cores 2048, 3x DP/HDMI/DVI-I. Yesterday, while playing Dark Souls 3, my computer did a strange thing. It didn't crash, but the monitors turned back while a small audible "pop" happened. Afterwards, everything was normal for a few seconds. The game crashed, but since I was streaming it using Steam, I could see the desktop and my MSI Afterburner. Temps were normal (65c), but usage had become a mish-mash of numbers far greater than the usual "100%". Unfortunately, I didn't get any screenshots because I just wanted to restart the PC and make sure everything was okay. It wasn't, and it refused to boot. Skipping to today, here's what I know. I have no warranty, my computer is perfectly fine and only the GPU is dead. I decided to try baking, just incase I could squeeze another few weeks while I prepare for another. Taking the heatsink off, I notice [PICTURE #1]: In the top left, you can see a small black dot, and a little black mark on the frame and the chip, like it had splashed. Not knowing what it could be, I quickly checked the heatsink just in case, and found [PICTURE #2]. You can't see it too well, but that thing sticks out about 0.5mm, and cleaning wouldn't get rid of it. It looks like something on my card popped and embedded itself into the heatsink. What could have caused this? It wasn't overclocked (more than factory OC) and seemed to be well within temperature limits. What happened to my poor card? (EDIT) Warranty was voided ages ago by my own stupidity removing the warranty sticker from the screw.

So I built a gaming computer a few months ago, and I think the graphics card might be failing in some way. My monitor is has been plugged into both an HDMI port and a DisplayPort with an adapter to test that. The effect is different sometimes, but there are always vertical lines of pixels moving, and it kind of looks like screen tearing in the video game, but constant and across the whole screen. The color is also way off, but not like specific blocks of color, more like just changing the hue of everything on screen.

So iv got a pretty old PC i7 3770k, Gtx670, 16gb Ram, 600W Xigmatek PSU etc. So when I load up a game/benchmark the PC crashes and gives me a white screen, sometimes white with a pink tint. I checked the RAM interchanging it and it’s not the RAM. I tested the CPU running stress tests on it and removed my OC and it works fine. So I think it’s the GPU or PSU. I used the integrated CPU graphics and no crashes. I removed the dust from the PSU too. I have now down clocked my GPU and power delivery to it and it is running fine. I am leaning towards a PSU problem, not being able to provide the Watts at the higher normal clock anymore. What do you guys think? GPU or PSU? Is there any other testing methods I can use to narrow this down a bit?

So my graphics card (gtx 980ti) has been working well for a week, but after removing all the cables from my PSU to turn the PSU the right way round (I had it upside down, im an idiot), when I power on my system it just shows the message 'please power down and connect the pcie power cables for this graphics card' And yes I have checked all the connections.

So I got the computer built. My monitor isn't detecting for some reason (power save mode) and idk if my reset switch works. Would my hdd light flash 24/7? If not then that's not working either. My USB ports work.

Hello everyone, I've been having some problems with random freezing recently. Sometimes it starts to freeze just for a few seconds and the cursor looks messed up, it usually ends up in a final freeze that forces me to restart the computer. Sometimes I get this fatal freeze immediately, and sometimes I even end up with BSOD 0x00000101. It always does randomly when I'm working in desktop, it has never happened under load - playing games, testing in Kombustor, etc. Also, when I get the small freeze, I can get rid of by changing anything in the afterburner (underclocking, changing the fan speed) - the changes don't work, but the gpu starts working again for some time. It all started a few days ago, when I decided to overclock my gpu. It's a GTX460 Hawk Talon Attack, base clock 811Mhz and memory clock 1950Mhz. I looked for safe overclocks of this gpu, so I went with +100mV on core and overclocked it to 900 Mhz. It worked great, but it ran too hot. When it hit 90°C in the Kombustor (still safe for a gpu, right?), I canceled it and went back to the stock clocks. I let it cool down first, and then I cleaned the card from dust - I did everything properly, I took care of the grounding (I always stick my hands in the power outlets) and done the cleaning by a brush and a balloon air pump. Then I put it back and I got BSOD 0x00000116 on the first boot - problem with nvlddmkm.sys. So I rebooted and reinstalled the gpu driver. That's all I did, and since then, I've been having these problems. I have tried to underclock the gpu, overvolt it, undervolt it + underclock it, running without afterburner or using older driver. None of them worked. Is there any way I could still fix this? Have I damaged the gpu by the overclocking? OS: Windows 7 x64. All updated ofc. My specs in the signature below. --- Edit: I've seen I'm not the only one having these problems, it seems to be a problem of the driver. The previous driver didn't work for me, so I'm going to try even older driver :3

The game is really graphics intensive. About 10 minutes in on maximum settings, my computer would completely crash/shutdown. After this, my computer will try rebooting as it always does after a crash, but it would fail for about 5 minutes, trying to turn on but promptly turning off. The cycle would repeat until it would turn back on. I am guessing it is waiting for something to cool down? 1. I used AMD Catalyst Uninstall Utility to make sure my old AMD drivers weren't conflicting with the Nvidia card. 2. I reinstalled Nvidia driver and GeForce experience. 3. I ran Furmark GPU Torture test and it crashed at around 68 C. 4. I logged my GPU sensors on CPU-Z 5. How can I tell if it's my Graphics Card that is the problem? - Any software tests? - Does the information I stated above indicate anything? 2. How can I tell if it's my Motherboard that is the problem? - It's an outdated motherboard from 2008 - Can an outdated motherboard like this run a GTX 780 and a 1200 Watt PSU? 3. Did overclocking my GTX 780 damage my graphics card? - I can't observe any kind of FPS drop once I compare the FPS to my pre-overclock settings - It didn't crash when I overclocked it a week ago - I currently have the GTX 780 in factory settings. - It has never crashed during overclocked settings - I used EVGA Precision X to overclock and only maxed the voltage to its limits which was +38mV - I may have increased the GPU clock or memory too high. I went as far as +200 MHz and decided it wasn't good for my GPU due to artifacts showing up. Please help me! Thank in advance, North
