Hello Everyone, Recently I have experienced some frame rate drops and ingame stuttering. I have changed only CPU overclocking to automatic via the rayzen master but then I revert back to default thinking this was the only thing that I've changed after I had that stuttring issue. All my drivers and windows updates are up to date. The only thing that I might think off is my motherboard utility which I haven't change (gaming profile, performance ...etc) via MSI dragon center. Below shows how bad it was during games of diablo3 as I can see FPS goes down below 40fps and then go up between 90s and 120+ 10-04-2021, 23:50:50 Diablo III64.exe benchmark completed, 19428 frames rendered in 206.766 s Average framerate : 93.9 FPS Minimum framerate : 13.7 FPS Maximum framerate : 181.3 FPS 1% low framerate : 3.7 FPS 0.1% low framerate : 3.4 FPS I ran another game but I set everything to low but still FPS drops are there: 10-04-2021, 23:58:34 Diablo III64.exe benchmark completed, 24316 frames rendered in 224.250 s Average framerate : 108.4 FPS Minimum framerate : 26.6 FPS Maximum framerate : 181.7 FPS 1% low framerate : 4.0 FPS 0.1% low framerate : 2.7 FPS This graph shows core clocks and memory clocks fluctuating but not sure if this is normal or not. Can you please help me out on my issue?

Hello, so for the past couple of days I've been having problems with my computer. All of my games are running at 1 to 3 fps Things I've tried: reinstalling my drivers updating my bois making sure windows up to date The only temporary solution i found is reinstalling my drivers (but it only last for like 2 hours) I've also order a new psu (coming in tomorrow) that's has a higher watt then the current one i have. My spec MSI B450M BAZOOKA V2 AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Radeon RX 570 EVGA BT 450 W 80+ Bronze Seagate Barracuda Compute 1 TB Inland Professional 120 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive 16 gb RAM The video is what happened after update my bois and was AT-cm_1165040189.mp4 playing for 2 hr

Hey guys so I have been having issues with frames drops. I have 300 plus fps but it drops to 10fps every 5 minutes and goes back to 300fps in seconds. I know you might say its only for a second but its really annoying and I die every single time that happens. I dont want to use dx11 because it forces my gpu alot and is not stable. According to my researches dx12 is the thin that makes my frame drop for seconds. I researched but couldnt find any fixes. So does anyone now how I can fix this frame drops issue? Also I am not having heating issues. These are the parts I have 550w ps Motherboard: msi b450m a pro max GTX 1660 super Ryzen 5 3600x 2x 8 gb 3000mhz ram 500gb m.2 ssd Water cooling for cpu

So I just figured out that ctrl + a number key goes to the corresponding tab but not knowing that only goes for 1-8. I wanted to try whether 10 would be working, so held control and pressed 10 but ctrl + 0 resets zoom and now I have a black frame around my first tab or more precise around the page that was in the first tab when I did it. Closing the tab doesn't help. Neither does refreshing or restarting chrome. It looks like what you see in the attached image (but around the whole page). Does anyone know how to fix that?

I am a complete computer noob even though I am the go-to for all of my friends because I ordered parts and had a friend help me build this computer and I have had my own desktop PC for about 2 years. I recently replaced by msi r9 280 with a windforce 980 TI ordered from amazon. I never had frame issues with my 280 and I have gotten non-stop stuttering (not sure if correct term) and frame drop etc for no reason. I can run dark souls 3 on ultra settings and get 60 frames easy with no problems and I have no idea what happened with GTA. I can be playing on the lowest settings and still have frame issues consistently. I have tried on multiple occasions to get the optimized settings and change my power options to max performance but nothing works. btw spec list: 650w psu i5 4690k 980 TI 6gb 8gb hyperX ram z97n gaming 5 motherboard nzxt kraken x41 cooling

Hey forum, I have been experiencing an issue in many of my games, most recently in Payday 2, where I get constant frame drops. It will run completely smooth at 60fps, then drop to around 20, then spring back to 60. My CPUs clock speed is stable and runs around 45 degrees. The GPU also is not throttling. What could be causing an issue like this? Specs are listed below. Thanks in advance for any help.

Will RAM frequency boost frame rates on an APU?
Guest posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
So I have this Toshiba Satellite C870D with an AMD APU, the integrated GPU is a Radeon HD 7310. It's ok for old games, but still I would like to increase the frame just a little bit if possible. Now the ram that came with the laptop is one stick of Samsung 4GB DDR3 running at 1066Mhz. If I upgrade the ram to 1600Mhz, will that have any affect on the frame rates or not? I ask since it's an APU and I know on desktops it does make a difference to have faster memory. -
(sorry for my bad english) I dont get it...i got a gtx 1070, AMD FX 8350 4 Ghz , 24 gb Ram and i am below 60fps most of the time and it happen in alot of my big games (Gear Of War ultimate edition,Deus Ex mankind divided, Wolfenstein new order, Shadow Warrior 2). Most in game benchmark tell me i'm suppose to be at 58-60fps( like Gear) . Is it possible its because i have a 1080p 60hz? Some games like Doom, Killer instincts, Overwatch and moba games work fine. But most bigger games start at 60 and as soon the action happen i go to 50fps ( Gear of war is mostly at 40-50 even sometime at 20-30).I saw some video when people go over 100fps. For me its still playable but i dont see a big different between my old gtx760 and my 1070.Overall i just want to go in a bigger frame rate and not having screen tearing. Anybody can help me?

Hy to all of you reading this. Im currently thinking about building my own 3D printer... anyone with experience want to help me? I will attach a file with the electronic gear I plan to use. The main problem im facing right now is the frame.... there are no premade solutions on the internet so I was wondering what would be the best solution for making one myself. links 3d printer.docx

I have a 3/8 thick bowling lane laminate (thin, but very dense) that I want to use as a tabletop for a desk. My plan was to build a wooden desk frame but I am now receiving the frame as a gift (300 dollars towards it). Since there are so many options that range all around the 400 USD price point, does anyone have a suggestion for what to get? I would like it to be as sturdy as possible since I will have 2 monitors mounted on an arm and my desktop will be on it was well. The theme in the office is mostly white so a white frame would be cool. I would like it to be under 500 dollars, preferably around $400 -$450. Here is what I could find with decent sounding reviews: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=15722 - $359.99 with $61.83 shipping = $421.82 http://www.thehumansolution.com/height-adjustable-standing-desk-frame-2-leg.html - $469.99 with upgraded height controller and free shipping. https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Electric-Ergonomic-Adjustable-DESK-V100E/dp/B01G9EPZR8 - $347.99 with free shipping + Amazon Prime 4 day https://www.amazon.com/MergeWorks-HighRise-Electric-Height-Adjustable/dp/B01M0IHDCU/ - $399.00 with free shipping + Amazon PRIME 2 day?!? (and on "sale"?) What do you guys think?

Hi all My specs are: Ryzen 7 3700x GTX1660 Super Asus Prime X570P 16GB Corsair Vengeance 3600mhz (2x 8GB) 500gb sabrent m.2 Corsair CX650M power supply I have been experiencing frame timing issues in CSGO... particularly at high frame rates. I will have really good FPS 280+ consistently but about every 10 seconds or so my frame timings will shoot from 3-4ms to 50+ms for a brief second, resulting in stutter. When I have enabled V-Sync to limit the FPS to 60, the frame time spikes are less extreme and less frequent (staying at 16.7-16.8ms - occasionally spiking to 25-30), but are occasionally noticeable (not just by looking at the RivaTuner overlay). What can I do to troubleshoot this as in a game like CSGO this can be a really big issue? Temps, clock speed, fan speed, CPU speed and temps are all normal, and there doesn't appear to be anything unusual happening in HWiNFO or MSI Afterburner monitor corresponding to the frame timing spikes. Steps I have already tried: Uninstall and reinstall latest Nvidia drivers. Switch off DOCP, returning ram to stock 2666mhz and timings. Tried V-Sync both off and on. Enabling low latency mode in the nvidia control panel (made it worse) Unplugging other devices from the extension lead powering my PC. Tried lowering settings. Is there any chance that my cheapo extension lead could be causing this, giving uneven power deliver (although I thought there were capacitors in the PSU and MB which were meant to mitigate this?)? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is very frustrating as this PC should be able to easily play this game no problem. Thanks

I've searched this problem multiple times, havent found solution, I'm desperate and tired of this. This is exactly my build and the parts I currently have: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Shigakure/saved/FjQtJx Doom Fortnite uncap frames no g sync: Fortnite cap 162fps, g sync on I also limited the game to 120fps, and the fps here went from 120 to 119, and a stutter in frametime happened: These are the frametimes I get when playing games. The big spikes are not really the problem, its the "small ones" that happen during gameplay (although Im not sure if those big ones are normal, but those happen when i see loading screens, or when I get in the fortnite bus, etc). I'm at 7ms, and suddenly goes to 16-30, out of nowhere. It happens in other games. I tried on Doom and it happened, but when I limit the fps to 60, happened way less, but still there were having frametime spikes. Same thing limiting fortnite to 60fps. Please let me know what kind of tests I could do or you would like me to show you, maybe recording gameplay, I dont know. Things I've tried: - Formating Windows 10 - DDU drivers, old drivers for gpu - Different nvidia settings, enabling and disabling max performance - Play games on SSD and also HDD - Update BIOS - Enabling and disabling xmp profile (its currently running at 3200mhz dual channel) - Limit fps, v sync on, off, g sync on, off. Limit fps using rivatunner as well. - I've tried different monitors too. I have no overclock. This pc is really new (from december), I've been weeks trying to find a solution, but havent found it yet. Hope you can help me, thank you.

Afternoon, I have recently completed my first custom water loop consisting of a dual radiator setup with a CPU and GPU block. Before all this I delided my 7960X but I haven't managed to get a great result (It's better but not as good as I was expecting) with liquid metal. In a couple of months time I am planning on redoing my loop as I made a couple of poor choices in regards to the reservoir layout and sharp bends as I forgot to buy 90 degree fittings. While my loop is drained I am thinking about getting a direct die frame for my processor and mounting my existing monochrome block but I am not sure if it will work as it also cools the VRMs as well. My block is https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-fb-asus-rog-r6e-monoblock-nickel Does anyone know if the block will fit/work with the VRMs when attached directly to the CPU die? I assume the block will sit slightly lower to compensate for the IHS but i'm not sure how much lower. Thanks, Scott

Hello, I couldn't find a good answer to my issue, so I wanted to ask to people with experience. I have 2 questions; 1. Do I need to cap the fps to match the monitor if the game runs faster than the monitor. (CSGO runs >200 even the monitor only outputs 144.) 2. Should I cap the fps to 60 to get smoother gameplay if the game has choppy framerate. (Metro Exodus runs between 55~170, It's playable but the stuttering is noticable.) I have a 144hz 2560x1080 ultrawide monitor with GSync enabled. As you can see this is not really my area of interest. What is the best way to approach?

So, last week a friend of mine bought a new gpu for his computer and He let me the one he was using before: Sapphire AMD R9 280X Vapor-x 3gb GDDR5. He was able to play several games on MID/HIGH graphs on a 1080p configuration with no problem at all, getting a frame rate around the 30/60 fps. The problem appears when We installed It on my computer. After booting on secure mode We proceed to uninstall the drivers of the previous gpu I was using (using DDU). So We turned off the PC, mounted the R9 280X and boot it again, then we installed the last drivers for the graph: Adrenalin 18.12.1 (Nov, 22,2018). There was no problem at all until the momment We decided to give it a try on Battlefield 1. I am no capable of playing the game on low settings (in 720p) with a stable framerate, always dropping and lagging. I am not expecting to play with 120fps, due It is a kinda old gpu, but having those issues in low settings is not what I expected from the R9 280X. I also tried other games like Fortnite or Dragon Ball FighterZ and It is not giving the results It should give. It is no problem of the gpu because last week I tested It on my friend's computer and It was OK, having a stable framerate on MID/HIGH settings. I also checked the bottleneck that could cause with the other devices of my PC, having a 4% (https://thebottlenecker.com/calculator?d=2b7-4d-1-64-64-5bce1f13&m=697d). I am not any expert on the gpu field, so I am asking this from the point of view of a person with 0 knowledge about the way of configurating the gpu, stress-test, msi-afterburner... Thanks in advance guys! These are my PC specifications: Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) X4 950 Quad Core Processor (4 CPUs) ~3.5GHz Memory: 16384MB RAM Card name: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series Display Memory: 10698 MB Dedicated Memory: 3052 MB Shared Memory: 7646 MB Current Mode: 1366 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz)

I already have an ASUS PG279Q and an old crappy 4:3 Monitor as a secondary display. I want to upgrade that one, so I have two more or less identical monitors. I don't need g-sync or high refresh rates for the second screen, I just want them to have the same frame/bezel size and a similar screen. Can I save 200 € by going with the MG279Q? They look identical on the vendor sites I looked at, but I don't have access to them to check. Or is there an even cheaper alternative?

So lets take this video for example I tried others too with the same results. Once I set it to 8k60fps my CPU gets 100% (taskmanager) and I get some occasional framedrops but even before and after the framedrops the footage is of constant FPS but kinda of jittery so I assume its like 25FPs or something like that because although constant (between framedrops were it stutters for a split second) its not smooth looking. as far as I can tell people with ryzen CPU can watch this smoothly only with 15-35% CPU usage. I used chrome to watch this (windows 10 64bit) I have 16GB cl14 DDR 4 memory @3200 Mhz and a RX 580 8GB GPU and I tried both hardware acceleration on and off with the same results... what gives ? I forgot to mention that on top of that my CPU is OCed at 4.8GHz all cores...

Hallo there, i finaly bought a 144hz g-sync monitor (Acer Predator XB241Hbmipr) and i also have a second older one (Samsung Syncmaster SA350), which are both active. For the graphic card i use a "Zotac Geforce GTX 1070 AMP! Extreme Edition". Im using the newest graphic driver and i also actived the g-sync option and the nvidia menu. My problem: When im ingame (fullscreen or windowed) and i want to watch a video on youtube in fullscreen mode both the game and video are starting to stutter and are breaking down to very low fps, untill i go out of the fullscreen mode in the video. I think g-sync is bugging, since my older monitor doesnt have g-sync and is only 60hz. I tried to disable the g-sync and then it worked fine. I could watch fullscreen video without any stutter and problems. I also tried both option "g-sync in fullscreen" and "g-sync in windowed and fullscreen", both had to same issues. then i tried to put my monitor on 60hz aswell, maybe there is a issue with to different hz and g-sync, but same results. I also have a similiar problem with that. when i watch video in non fullscreen and i enter a loading screen in a game (usually there are low fps in the loading screen), my video on the second screen is getting totaly messed up while that. the video is stuttering (i guess my gpu is syncing the fps of both displays) and sometimes it goes in slow motion while in loading screen and after it, it tries to catch up and runs 2 times faster for a short time. i know that my g-sync monitor is syncing with my gpu to match the frames and thats totaly acaptable in the loading screen, but why is there such a struggle while in fullscreen mode? its strange... i uploaded 2 video, where you can see the issues. Is this a known problem? is there a way to fix this problem without disabling g-sync? are there any other settings? fullscreen.mp4 loading screen.mp4

When I repaired my LG monitor (cheap capacitor issue, which also plagued the DC brick, that got replaced with a printer PSU), I pretty much destroyed the current frame. It's currently held together by a guitar capo, but I want some better solution instead. My plans so far: 1) Use wood, preferably walnut for the front bezel. 2) Use some other material for the backside that's cheaper, but also stronger. I'll probably use walnut veneer here to make it look nicer. 3) Make the new chassis to have the same overall thickness instead of having a bump at the back where the control panel is located. Instead, the controls will be relocated and the bottom part of the bezel will be the same as everything else. Currently I have no plans on the stand, probably going to use a wall mount for a while, and I'll install an option for VESA mounting (currently it has a 75).

When 1vs1 situation happen, average frame is 60~70. In heavy fight, average frame is 50~60. But after christmas update, average frame drop to 30 at any situation sometime. Am I only one get extreme frame drop?

I am running dual 1080 w/ no overclocking done, and a i7 - 6850k. I am getting frame drops in pubg after mining. I have heard some rumors about how gpus can deteriorate over time as you mine, but I don’t think that’s true. I dropped from the high 90s to the low 40s on high settings.

Hi beautiful people! i heard i can get much needed help here. Issue: Framestutters that occur all 5-10 Minutes. the duration of the stutter is only half a second, but i am going crazy because of it! it's noticed HEAVILY in Overwatch and Wolfenstein the new colossus, not noticed in other games tho. i have a video where it's visible. My specs: - GPU: nVidia 1070 GTX - CPU: i7 4770K - 16 GB RAM - Monitor: ASUS PG278QR Other Informations: the temperature of both GPU and CPU seem to be normal while the stuttering happens (around 60 degrees Celsius, i dont know what that is in freedom units). i noticed that the maximum frequency of my CPU is constantly over 100% while playing, don't know if that has any effect. (screenshot included, the drop of the blue line is when i exit the game, in this case Overwatch.) i think i got the problems when i upgraded from a 780 GTX to 1070 GTX. i was playing Overwatch without any problems around 9 months ago with a 780. What i tried: i tried to change my settings ingame. i tried to close as many programs as possible. i tried not to cry. but i failed. Updated my GPU driver. Project 1.avi
