  1. I just finished building my pc but when i started the installation of windows 11 it said i needed storage drivers and i don't know what drivers to get for my motherboard and a video said i need wifi drivers too my mobo is a B660M AORIS pro ax ddr4
  2. Hello, PC Specs: GPU = RTX 4080 CPU = 7800X3D Motherboard = MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI RAM/Memory = G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 6400-MHz CL-32 2x16GB Storage = Samsung 990 PRO 4TB CPU Cooler = Deepcool AIO Additional Fans = 3x Deepcool 120mm fans Case = Lian Li 011 Dynamic Evo RGB Power Supply = 80 plus gold 1000W Operating System = Windows 11 For context, I've just built a PC and have installed Windows 11. My motherboard has WiFi included (MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI) and I have screwed in the antennae. Everything seems to be working with the exception of WiFi. To be clear, Ethernet isn't an option as my router is in a separate room from where my computer is. My WiFi IS working on other devices. First thing I thought of was to update the wifi driver however when going into the device manager, there isn't any network adapter for WiFi. I have checked hidden items and I have done a network reset and still nothing. I have attached a photo of the device manager. The Realtek is the driver for ethernet. Am I meant to install the Network Adapter? If so, how would I go about doing that? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time and likely patience, Much love, Me
  3. Hey everyone! I'm a bit stuck (and frustrated) at the moment trying to install drivers for my GPU on my newly built PC. My configuration is as follows: - CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D - CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE 66.17 CFM - Motherboard: Asus PRIME X670-P ATX AM5 - RAM: 4x Corsair Vengeance 32 GB DDR5-6600 CL32 - Storage: Samsung 980 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME - Secondary Storage: Crucial MX500 1 TB SSD - GPU: ASRock Phantom Gaming OC Radeon RX 7700 XT 12 GB - Case: Fractal Pop Air RGB ATX - Power Supply: Corsair RM750e (2023) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified (Fully Modular) Every time I am trying to update the drivers for the GPU, my system crashes, and restarts (the keyboard starts lighting up and turns off again at least 3 times every time this happens). I use AMD Adrenaline for the drivers, but I also tried it in the Device Manager. Then, sometimes, it boots back into Windows, but sometimes it goes into Automatic Repair, and then I have to reinstall Windows. I installed Windows 11 at first (several clean installs, but they didn't help). Now I've installed Windows 10 but the issue persists. When I looked in the device manager, the only missing drivers were the ones for my GPU (Radeon 7700 XT) and the Display Adapter driver. Those are the ones that my system crashes on. In the device manager I got error code 31. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you
  4. So i build a new pc, but im having problems in windows 11. So when i open windows 11 my blue usb stop working my wifi and bt works for a few minutes. My build is: cpu: ryzen 5 7600 mobo: msi b650 gamming plus wifi GPU: gigabyte Geforce 4070 storage: WD_black sn770 mvme 1TB Ram: T-force Delta ddr5 32g 5200MHz Cooler: nox Hummer m-360 argb Case: lian li 216 At this moment i already tried about everting possible like: update bios install the most recent drivers amd chipset drivers clear cmos remove controllers from device manager remove pc parts (like gpu ) to check for changes check if any usb is physically damage command line commands check if io shield is making short shorkits etc.. nothing of the above have worked. The only error that i found in w11 is error 24 in my AMD USB 3.20 eXtensible Host Controller that only appears when everting fails and some usb over current erros when i boot my pc. So can anyone help me with this issue?

  6. We didn’t recommend using the Chinese driver in our mining GPU video, but now, we’ll show you how to make Nvidia’s drivers work for yourself – And how to go deeper. Buy a P106 (mining "GTX 1060") on Taobao: https://lmg.gg/8KV9W Buy a real GTX 1060: On Amazon: http://geni.us/rveAUH On Newegg: https://lmg.gg/8KV6B Download link for GeForce driver 416.34: https://lmg.gg/8KV93 Download link for HxD: https://lmg.gg/8KV9m Download link for DifferentSLIAuto: https://lmg.gg/8KV9P Download link for 7-Zip: https://lmg.gg/8KV9p TechPowerUp Forum Thread: https://lmg.gg/8KV91 How to mod the P106 driver Make sure Secure Boot is disabled and Windows is in testsigning mode Check your motherboard manual for information on how to disable Secure Boot Testsigning can be enabled by opening up a Command Prompt or PowerShell as administrator, then typing: bcdedit /set {current} testsigning on bcdedit /set {current} nointegritychecks on This can be done for a single boot by going to Start -> Power -> Restart and holding shift while clicking Restart, then choosing Troubleshoot, then Advanced Options, then Startup Settings - Once you get to the menu, choose to disable driver signature enforcement. After restarting, you’ll know it worked if some text is displayed in the lower right corner of your desktop Download and extract the GeForce driver using 7-Zip In the extracted folder, go to the Display.Driver folder and open nv_dispi.infusing Notepad++ Search for lines containing 1B87 (P104-100), 1BC7, (P104-101) 1C07(P106-100), and 1C09 (P106-090) Change each line's Section number to match the 1C06 (GTX 1060) line - On 416.34, that means from Section110 to Section108 On the third set of lines, the Section numbers will be different; Again change it to match the 1C06 (GTX 1060) line - On 416.34, that's Section109 to Section107 Save the file Install the driver as normal – Windows will complain that it’s unsigned; Click allow. Right-click the desktop, go to Display Settings, then Graphics Settings From here, you can force any game to use the P106 to render while your integrated GPU is used for display output. How to perform the SLI mod Make sure Secure Boot is disabled and Windows is in testsigning mode Check your motherboard manual for information on how to disable Secure Boot Testsigning can be enabled by opening up a Command Prompt or PowerShell as administrator, then typing: bcdedit /set {current} testsigning on bcdedit /set {current} nointegritychecks on This can be done for a single boot by going to Start -> Power -> Restart and holding shift while clicking Restart After restarting, you’ll know it worked if some text is displayed in the lower right corner of your desktop Install both graphics cards you wish to attempt SLI with The first three characters of the PCI device ID MUST match to enable SLI To find out what the device ID is, right-click the start button and click Device Manager In the Display adaptors list double-click the card you want to check. Under the Details tab, click the drop-down and then click Hardware IDs. It will look like this: PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1F07&SUBSYS_86701043&REV_A1 VEN_10DE means Nvidia, while DEV_1F07 is the device ID – In this example, an RTX 2070. So in order to run SLI, the other card’s device ID will have to also start with DEV_1F0 Download and install the GeForce driver as usual Download and extract the DifferentSLIAuto package Go to C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository and sort by date Go into the newest folder beginning with nv_dispi.inf Copy the nvlddmkm.sys file to the DifferentSLIAuto folder Open the install.cmd file in the DifferentSLIAuto folder in Notepad++ Replace the three mentions of nv_dispi.inf in install.cmd with the folder name we got the nvlddmkm.sys file Open the nvlddmkm.sys we copied in a hex editor (HxD) In HxD, go to Search, then Find, then click the Hex Values tab Search for 79050fba6b240e Position the cursor at the start of these values Replace with C7432400000000 (no need to delete first, just type over it) Save the file Reboot into Safe Mode with Networking Click Start, then Power, then hold shift while clicking Reboot In the menu that comes up, click Troubleshoot, then Advanced Options, then Startup Settings (on some PCs, this may be behind a “show more options” arrow) - Once the PC reboots, press 5 on the screen that appears. Run install.cmd in the DifferentSLIAuto folder as administrator Reboot into normal mode Enable SLI (hopefully)
  7. The problem is somewhat vague and seems to change how it presents itself. I apologize if anything is unclear, but I'm here to answer questions ASAP. Description of problem: Around 2 weeks ago my programs started crashing. At first it was discord randomly crashing and restarting, then my games would crash whenever a round ended, which I found very strange. It got worse over the two weeks and I eventually got frustrated not being able to fix it, so I formatted my drive and reinstalled Windows, but the problem is somehow worse. Now, most driver installers crash or fail, and I occasionally get various errors trying to browse the internet. Most notably, my intel chipset drivers fail to install, and my Nvidia drivers fail to install. The strangest crash is the Nvidia drivers because when I try to install them on a fresh windows the installer will quickly crash and close, then maybe 5 minutes later my screen will flicker and Nvidia control panel is installed. I've spent all day on Microsoft support trying to see if it's a problem with Windows, and even though they eventually got the Windows updates to install without crashing, everything else still crashes and might crash worse. Some drivers I have to install in safe mode and I can install my LAN drivers normally and successfully. I noticed the Q-LED (ASUS motherboard) for the CPU flashing while I was using the computer, and all troubleshooting information I could find from ASUS only mentioned the LEDs flashing during the boot process and didn't mention what they may indicate while the computer is running. Problem Checklist: - Nvidia drivers fail to install in a few ways - error message: NVidia driver not compatible with this version of windows - Simply crashes and closes - Crashes during installation with error message: NVidia drivers failed to install - Intel chipset drivers fail with error message: Unknown error (Useful!) - Steam can install, games can be installed, but they can never successfully start or run System specs: CPU: Intel i9-14900kf Motherboard: ASUS Prime z790-A WIFI RAM: 4x16GB DDR5-5200 (XMP currently disabled) G.Skill Ripjaws S5 GPU: Nvidia RTX 4070ti Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 1TB OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit Troubleshooting steps taken: - Swapped RAM around in every imaginable configuration/combination - Changed SSD to Samsung 970 EVO 500GB - Flashed BIOS - Reset CMOS - Changed motherboard to ASUS TUF z790-Plus WIFI - Clean boot Windows - Safe mode Windows - Install Windows 11 - Disable all non-Microsoft services - "Repair upgrade" (Microsoft support used this phrase to tell me to install Windows 10 from within Windows 10. I think it was silly) - Many more I can't immediately think of
  8. Hi, I've been using a WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 PCIe card for a few years, but now I got a new motherboard, which has WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 onboard. So I simply removed my old WiFi card. I proceeded to install all the drivers the motherboard prompted me to (including Intel WiFi and Bluetooth), then updated the Bluetooth drivers again using the Windows updater. Now, I can't connect to any devices I have already been paired to and I can't remove those devices from the paired list. (It says an error occured while trying to remove the device or something like that.) When I serch for new devices to pair with, it shows me available devices but I don't own them so I won't try connecting to them. All devices I own are paired already. That is a problem, because it means I can't use any of my Bluetooth devices right now. I'm almost certain this is a driver issue, but I don't really know what to do about it. Can you help me?
  9. I installed a brand new version of tiny11 22H2 on my Lenovo T440s (4th gen intel core era, bottom of the laptop says copyright 2013) and I noticed the trackpoint on the keyboard no longer works. I've tried to find drivers but I can't seem to find any that work. Can anyone help? I hate this laptop without a trackpoint working. Thanks in advance! Edit: It's this laptop right here, (https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-ThinkPad-Laptop-i5-4300U-20AQ006JUS/dp/B00HLDF3CE) but I upgraded it with another 8GB stick of RAM and a 240GB SSD (not that it matters, of course.)
  10. I'm finally making my first GPU upgrade to the system I built back in 2019. Are there general things I should do before or after I put the new card in? I did buy a new power supply last year with the new 16 pin connector, 850 watt power supply so I'm good there as well. I assume the main things will be get the drivers for the new card installed but should I delete the drivers for the old card as well? I will be staying with Nvidia to hopefully make things easier.
  11. Nvlddmkm gpuid:100 playing cs2 So I mostly play cs2 now, and today I got 2 crashes, one time it just closed like alt f4 without .dmp file and second time it freezed my game and I could only close it via TaskMngr. It’s pretty rare tho, I have 80+ hours in cs2 and got only 3 crashes so far. I haven’t updated any nvidia or windows drivers for the last 3-2 months. I have fan gpu software running in the background since forever. I had quite a lot of problems with my pc in the past, but for the last 3-4 months I had 0 crashes/problems. I also have color vibrance and custom nvidia panel settings. No cs2 launch options and disabled full screen optimization. It only happened in cs2 so far, which is known for crashing at random times. So what can I do to further investigate the problem? DDU? or maybe this is a cs2 problem? PS: I have 4070ti 7600x 32gb
  12. Ok, so I've seen a few similar threads, but no definitive answer... Built this pc only weeks ago with brand new parts, did all the usual set up, updated BIOS, installed drivers etc... all working fine, then the first time I have the system running 3 monitors for more than 5 minutes, main monitor goes black. Odd part is, the pc still recognised the monitor as connected, the other 2 monitors still acted as though the display extended to the 1st monitor, and the 1st monitor was still shown in display settings. When it happens, the monitor's power button doesn't do anything, it remains lit (in white as though it's awake, instead of amber as though it was asleep) and the only way to get it running again is to disconnect the monitor's power and then reconnect. I've been troubleshooting for 2 days straight, attempts as follows: Restarted Unplugged and restarted Swapped cables (same monitor went black) Updated BIOS Windows update Checked event log (nothing significant) Tested monitor with another pc Sfc test (no issues) Memtest diagnostic (no errors) DDU then clean driver install EC reset Haven't had any luck; the screen blacks out anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours after a boot, no consistency. I've run the pc with task manager and other monitoring software open to try and spot CPU, GPU and RAM performance at the time of a black out, but nothing significant there... CPU temps average about 65°C and GPU about 55°C from what I've seen. Curiously, I had no issues when only 2 monitors were connected, but my GPU should be able to handle 4! 13. Hi, I started experiencing an issue where installing the latest Nvidia drivers leads to a crash, then windows system repair when my PC restarts. I ended up buying mostly new parts and doing a clean install of Windows so at this point the only 2 components which aren't brand new are my GPU and PSU. The issue has persisted no matter what I've tried to do. I wasn't able to update to the most recent drivers on Nvidia's site so I ended up installing 537.58 which is working, but not working great. Since installing, I've been playing a lot of The Finals and experiencing extremely frequent Unreal Engine crashes which the internet says are caused by driver corruption. I'm starting to worry that my 3080 has gone bad after barely a year of extremely light use. (~90% of the time it's been used has been playing TF2, watching Youtube and using Microsoft Excel.) At this point it seems that it's either my PSU not delivering enough power or my GPU going bad long before it should. What do you guys think? My build is as follows: GPU: Gigabyte Windforce RTX 3080 (16 months old) CPU: i5 14500 (Brand New) PSU: Corsair TX650m (4.5 years old) MOBO: Asrock B760M PG Sonic Wifi (Brand New) Ram: 16GBx2 G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5 (Brand New) SSD: WD Blue SA510 1 TB (Brand New) Water Cooler: 2X 120mm Cooler Master RGB (Brand New) OS: Fresh install of Win11 Pro GPU Driver: Geforce Game Ready Driver 537.58 (Released 10/10/2023)
  14. Hey Everyone, I just finished a new build with a 4080 Super founders edition and gigabyte z790 aorus pro X. Everything was working fine and stable until I installed the NVIDIA drivers—the pc became unresponsive to keyboard and mouse input and I had to force reboot. I was able to get past the login screen but in about 5 seconds the same thing happens. The only way I found it to run stable is by forcing 8x8 on the PCIe slot through the bios PCIe bifurcation, which of course I don’t want to do. Found a similar thread but no real solution. I already have: updated BIOS tried both versions of the 4080 Super drivers Enabled native ASPM tried with multiple displays not using riser, GPU is direct to top PCIe 5.0x16 slot. I’m thinking of just exchanging the mobo for ROG strix gaming A WiFi II (nothing is able to recognize my RAM’s RGB, but that’s hardly an issue) but it’s a whole lot of work for something that IMO shouldn’t be an issue. Any ideas or thoughts you may have are welcomed. Thanks in advance! 15. I have the typical resolution issue, the thing is that windows drivers recognize my monitor as a Konka led tv and work properly at 1080p. Of course, for performance reasons, i prefer using amd drivers for my 5600g, the problem with this is that amd drivers wont recognize my monitor, it will set it as a generic monitor at 640x480 and not even RCU will help me. Something important to say is that with w10 i coud use amd drivers and force the monitor to 1080p runing perfectly. But my girlfriend accidentally updated to w11 and now i have this issue. What can i do? I can't find drivers online for this monitor neither. It's an RCA L24S9500 1080 60HZ Monitor and a 5600g igpu
  16. I recently built my PC and everything is working fine until now. When I put my PC to sleep, my mouse and keyboard lights go to default (meaning that the control software was closed) but my PC remains turned on. It stays turned on without display output until I switch off the power. When I attempt to restart, the restart loading screen comes for about 7 minutes and then I get this random purple pinkish screen with flashing shapes and the PC restarts, everything works again when it boots but the issues persist when I try to restart/sleep. I've also twice got a BSOD with it saying DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. I tried updating drivers but no success. I'm considering reinstalling windows. UPDATE: I disconnected my wifi adaptor and all the power functions are working perfectly fine. Any suggestions as to why my wifi adaptor (It's a USB adaptor) is doing this?
  17. Hello, I am in need of some help. A couple of months ago, I was cleaning my Surface Pro 7's drive in order to optimize and free up space using CCleaner. In doing so, I believe that I accidentally deleted some key drivers used for power management, battery monitoring, and battery display (how I managed to royally screw up so bad is a question I ask myself every day). Normally you'd think it'd be an easy fix, but it has been anything but easy. This is where I go over everything that I have done that I could possibly think of. I may be tech savvy, but I am not attuned to digging below the surface level of software. I have reset back to the last windows update, soft reset my surface (kept files and apps), hard reset my surface (wiped everything and start fresh), installed a fresh version of windows from Microsoft, installed the Create Windows 11 Installation Media tool, installed Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO), ran an in-place upgrade for windows 11, and downloaded the latest Surface Pro 7 drivers and firmware and I still cannot get the battery icon/drivers to work. I'm at the point where I don't know what to do next and all of the guides I try to lookup still have the battery drivers installed but they are either hidden or just not operating. There are no hidden drivers under device manager and the only thing that I can see that is an issue is the Surface Serial Hub Driver which has an error flag for: "This device cannot start. (Code 10) STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE." I am out of my depth here with several support chats with Microsoft doing no good. I really need some help here guys. Anything and everything is appreciated if it helps me get full functionality of my Surface Pro 7 again Note: This is not a major issue in the sense that I cannot use my Surface whatsoever. Daily issues include: battery life has been noticeably affected, cannot monitor battery life at all, device shuts off without warning when the battery is dead, and date code and device memory does not update to current date and time until the device has been on for about 30 minutes or so and is essentially stuck in the last place and time that I had my Surface on.
  18. I have a b550 Aorus elite ax v2 and the wifi on it isn’t working I have the antennas plugged into the mobo and downloaded the drivers for wifi but it isn't working.
  19. Hello there reader, I currently have a problem with my USB C Dongle for the Steelseries Artics Nova 7. It worked fine until I decided to upgrade from a 1660 super to a 4060 ( Roast me ) but It was a good upgrade in my case. I had used DDU but I got crashes mid game so I decided to reset my PC and ohh ohh that was a mistake. I downloaded the GPU drivers, Chipset Drivers but yes now I have a problem that if I insert my dongle directly in my motherboard it doesn't work what a bummer. It's working when i use a normal USB to usb C and plug my dongle in to it. It's just not working if I put it in my Motherboard. Please help me with this problem I have tried everything. Specs: r5 3600 b450f Gaming RTX 4060 650W Thank you in advance
  20. Hey LTT, Does someone of you may have a LG Gram 14T990-U.AAS8U1 and hasn't re-installed the operating system? I have this LG Gram model and I re-installed Windows. It was Home but I installed Pro as I needed pro features. What I didn't realize was that LG doesn't offer these drivers on the website nor on their LG Update software and I didn't make a backup. So they are now gone as I wiped the complete SSD. I need drivers for the backlight keyboard and the Goodix fingerprint sensor. Had several calls with LG and several e-mails and for some reason they refuse to send me the drivers... I even advised the person to ask their R&D department. Sadly no luck either. So if anyone of you may have such device around and could share these drivers with me that would be awesome. Regards, Alex
  21. Ive been having this problem for a while now, where every time or most times I start my pc, I will have super slow internet speeds. According to windows it is all fine and says I am connected in the bottom right hand corner. I have also have the latest windows and driver updates for all my components (you can see details below). The solution for this at the moment is unplugging and re plugging it back in and as you can see on the speeds there is a substantial difference. The cable is also not the problem, I have a new one installed and have tried different cables as well as different ports from my router. I have a feeling this is a setting wrong or software problem. I have included all my specs below, would be great if someone would be able to help! Before vs after re-plugging the cable If there is more information you need, I am happy to provide it, just would really like to try and sort this out! 22. Hi, I use all AMD machine: cpu Ryzen 7 7800X3D with MSI Radeon rx 7900xt running on win11. Fairly new pc, having It for more that 4 months (Build It myself, but now I'm starting to regret It). Today top 20% of my screen flickers (or maybe gets displaced) at random intervals and system during that sometimes gets a hiccup. On a first glance It looks like driver issue or something with a hardware, but I reinstalled the lower version of the adrenaline driver (From 23.12.1 to 23.11.1)and saw that the flicker happend on that update once as well so I'm worried. What else do You suggest, please help. I was saving for that machine for a long time, don't want to lose It :I
  23. So recently, I turned on my computer to find the GPU fans constantly at 100% speed. I tried to check MSI Afterburner (which is the software I use to control my fan speeds), and Afterburner said the GPU fans were running at the correct percentage. But judging by the sounds of the GPU fans, it very much was not running the listed speed. After this discovery, I updated my drivers, reset my bios settings, and reinstalled MSI Afterburner (to no avail). Thanks for any help you can provide!

  25. Hey, this is going to sound really weird but I've been trying to fix my cousins pc, at his house when it's plugged in every minute or so it will crash and get video tdr failure. The only thing that stops it in his house is if it's booted in safe mode of Uninstaller the drivers, I also used a different graphics card and it did the same thing. So I took it home to continue troubleshooting, as soon as I plugged it into my house nothing was wrong I played on it for hours, so I pinned it down to a faulty cable. This was not the case tried all new cables and no hope at his house, we tried different outlets and circuits too but all the same result, so I took it home and still absolutely no issue, so I took it to my friends house and it got the tdr failure I'm honestly stumped and wondering why the pc only likes working in my house. Please help me
