Processor AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor 3.70 GHz Installed RAM 32.0 GB Edition Windows 10 Home Version 21H1 Installed on 9/16/2021 OS build 19043.1237 Nvidia RTX 2070 CPU Fan installed: https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-RR-212S-20PK-R1-Contact-Silencio/dp/B07H25DYM3 My case if it matters: I normally keep my PC on constantly, since it's set to back up all my data to the cloud. Never had any issues, I decided to install a CPU fan to replace my stock fan since I noticed my PC would get a bit hot playing a game my friend invited me to play. I had never had any temperature issues, or any warnings related to temperature to my knowledge prior to this, I wanted to be proactive & install this CPU Fan. I ran some bench-marking and stress-tests for my CPU & GPU, my min was 45 C & my Max 78 C. Looking at the standard operating temp for my CPU it's 43 min 80 Max, so temperatures are fine after the installation. The Issue: My PC will kinda just randomly shit itself during use after this fan install, what I mean is I'll be watching a youtube video or trying to launch a game, or browsing the internet my whole PC will lock up. I can still do stuff, but videos freeze, I can't sign-out, open task manager, but I can still do basic things like open start menu, file explorer. Everything is just stuck until I restart, there isn't a blue screen, nor can I even close the things that are open, the PC simple goes "Oop" and nothing works properly until it's restarted. I didn't notice any issues running tests, I have 3 Monitors, so I ran Tekken 7, FFXIV, Strive, Youtube Video, & a Discord Call with streaming from my desktop all at the same time to see if I could force it to lock up or maybe see if my PC would bluescreen if it's due to windows but none of that caused anything to happen. I only installed the CPU Fan 2 days ago, and the issue happened immediately after so I'm pretty sure I did something incorrectly. I'd like to know what I could look out for or what issue I may have caused myself. This is the tutorial I followed for CPU Fan removal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR53pDndwT8 This is the Tutorial I followed for installation: I cleaned off my CPU with tissue and a dab of rubbing alcohol too, prior to applying new thermal paste & the heat sink.

I have been only getting about 30-36 mbps according to google’s speed tests. However, I am paying for 200mbps and all my other wireless devices reach 150mbps+. I tried using the wifi but I only get between 15-24 mbps or less. So I wonder if perhaps my Motherboard is the issue or if it isnt optimized. I bought a prebuilt a year ago because I didnt want to mess anything up as my confidence was fairly lacking, but after reading cyber power’s customer service reviews and dealing with them myself, I feel as equiped as they are to deal with the issues. If anyone could also recommend any possible upgrades I would also appreciate it! Specs in screenshot of the email invoice

I recently bought a pre-built desktop [Ryzen 5900X, RX 6800 XT, T-Force 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200, WD 1TB NVMe SSD, ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4, Apevia 1000W 80+ Gold] for USD $1750 because it felt like a very good deal. But since AMD and Intel are about to release the next gen CPU and GPUs and limited upgrade options later down the line since they need new motherboard and DDR5 RAM, should I return the PC and wait or should I just keep it?

So I am trying to upgrade my PC's RAM. It came with a single 8gig stick which is an ADATA XPG model number AX4U266638G19-BRZ1. I can't seem to find any info on that particular stick so I don't want to put the wrong one in. My motherboard says it is a Cyberpower PC B360M XTREME, CPUZ says it is manufactured by ASrock but i can't find any info on that from ASrock either, it is like they don't make it or something. If anyone has any info or has dealt with this in the past I would really appreciate any advice/tips. I just want to make sure any new RAM i get is compatible and I wont run into any issues.

CyberpowerPC motherboard or CPU issue?
SpookyCitrus posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
So I'm working on a friends computer, it's a CyberpowerPC with a Ryzen 5 3600, Gigabyte B450M DS3H WiFi, 16GB 3000mhz Crucial Ballistix memory, and a MSI Ventus GTX 1660. It started to not post and the PSU which is the EVGA GD Gold 600w was making a double click every time you try to power it on and will also come on for 2 seconds and then power off immediately repeatedly just on off, on off, over and over while double clicking. He thought it was his PSU so he replaced it, it now boots into Windows but will randomly restart without warning and without a BSOD or any sort of log or error message. I have tested the old PSU that was having the issues with a both a PSU tester and by hooking it up in another gaming rig and it worked fine with both so I'm positive it is not the PSU. So far these are the steps I have done. Bios update to the latest available. All drivers and chipset updates. Reseated the CPU. Ran Memtest86 (Restarts randomly while running the test, no memory errors in logs) Tested in Winpe (Also restarts randomly) Removed motherboard and components from case and have them on a motherboard box for bench testing. Issues persist all the same as normal however the EVGA PSU that would just click and power on and off is now posting and starting to go into Windows before it clicks and powers off and on again instead of every few seconds. As of right now I'm leaning towards the motherboard or CPU being the issue, as looking through other forums and posts with similar issues have had their issue fixed by replacing one or both of them. My next step is to test with another CPU to see if the issue still persists with a completely different CPU. Please let me know if you have had a similar issue or have a suggestion. -

I plan on using this pc extensively and was wondering which one would be a better buy. The first one has a better processor while the second one has a better graphics card but having a core i7 instead of a core i9. I also am not sure if the build quality of CyberPowerPC is great (from what I read, it can vary a lot), likewise MSI is most likely to have a superior build quality because its a big name brand (I may be wrong). They are both the same price ($50 difference) but I am not sure which one is better.

Hey guys i am wondering if anyone has any kind of experience with this brand, but the laptop im looking into has a 4400MAH battery its 849.99 for labor day right now with a GTX 1050 ti, and an i7 processor. But there is a Dell Inspiron without all the RGB For 799 at bestbuy same GPU ram and SSD, but an i5 only, but it has a much larger battery almost 7900MAH, so i dont understand how 4400MAH would even be enough for this laptop for an hour, anyway its calling the cyberpower PC Tracer II. The battery just seems mighty small for a laptop of this spec even compared to the dell unit.

I'm not tech savvy at all, which is why I'm purchasing an affordable pre-built system (my budget is $900 and I'm leaving room to purchase a monitor). These two are really similar and have really good reviews - albeit one more than the other: The first system has a graphics card ram size of 6 GB in comparison to the second's 4 GB. The first system also has a 120 GB SSD card alongside the 1 TB Hard Drive (I heard downloading games onto the SSD reduces load time, but maybe you guys can speak to the validity of that). Both systems obviously have different graphics cards, but I don't know which is better than the other. Which system is better?

So I am looking to get a gaming PC and I have no idea of where to start or what I should be looking for to purchase. I am unable to build my own gaming PC so I been watching videos and trying to research a PC that will play Farming Simulator 19 along with previous versions. And other simulations games as well. I play on a ps4 but have wanted to upgrade to a gaming pc. I been looking at this cyberpowerpc that I can purchase on payments but unsure if this would be worth the price or not and how well would it run? I am disabled so my income is limited so monthly payments are really my best option. Here is a link to what I been looking at. Thank you. https://www.electronicexpress.com/catalog/180714/CYBERPOWERPC-GXI10960CPG

Hello all, I’m simply curious about my desktops current PSU, which is an ATNG ATM-600FB; the stock PSU of a C series CyberPowerPC desktop from 2015. Simply put, I’m having no issues, I’ve kept it as clean as possible (there’s still dust in it but mainly on the fan and components just above the fan), however this is a stock off-brand PSU from either Korea or China, and I have no idea where to find its rating (it does say 80+ on the PSU, but not if it’s bronze or anything like that.), and I’m curious how often you guys replace Power Supplies; should I replace this one? Is this PSU not as bad as I’m thinking or will it burn hotter than Gordon Ramsey on Hell’s Kitchen? Thank you all. Peace .

Recently had this built, was wanting to do it myself so far as customizing pre-built systems. Was wanting to support AMD, IMO the ones holding the others feet to the fire for inspiration. Anyhoo, here's my set-up below. Of note is a 1st generation Ryzen CPU, with a 2nd Generation AX470 MoBo. Its overkill for what I use it for, but wanted something to last quite awhile, and also be up-gradeable should the need arise, and or something go bad. Its my first desktop, all other PC's have been laptops----also AMD CPU's as well. (old school fanboy) I would like to hear opinions as to what works or doesn't etc... all comments welcome, thanks. This was my cinebench, not sure what it all means exactly, but posted as a reference as to what/how my unadulterated (no over-clock etc) set-up performed. Maybe someone can comment on that as well and explain it to me as I'm not exactly computer savvy, but I manage. Hello everyone, I am quite new here but I an issue, and I have no idea what is going wrong with it. Forgive me for going prebuilt, Parents would not let me build myself or even get someone local to me to build it for about $20 CAD (I'm only 15 :P.) Anyways, I got this PC from CyberpowerPC at Bestbuy back in the end of July, and for the first few weeks it worked just fine other then a cable that came loose in transit here to Canada. After a month or so of use, it started to gain this noise on startup (Video Below), And ever since it has slowly been getting louder. It only happens when the PC is starting up, and it starts to quite down a bit after the PC has been on for several minutes, But the noise does not fully go away until I shake the case a little bit. I lived with it until September until I went to get help. I have brought the issue up with Cyberpower and they shipped me a fan, I then replaced the fan I thought was making the noise and the PC still makes the noise. I contacted them again a couple days ago and said that it helped nothing and I did not feel like replacing the other 3 fans in the case with the one they sent me until I found the one that was bad, So now they are sending me a CPU Cooler and 3 more fans, since they are lead to believe it is one of them. I brought it too the Cyberpower forums too, and one member had the same issue and it was the CPU cooler and they said to push down just enough on the fan so it stopped spinning on startup and see if it made the noise, and it still did. Anyways, this is where I am now. In case anyone wants to know, The model of the PC is the CyberpowerPC GXI10200INC (GXI10200A On some sites not in Canada). Video Is Here Also, I am new to this forum and I think this would be the right spot to post this, But move it if needed. Thank you.

Hello! I've got $2000 to spend on a new laptop for school, gaming, and other productivity tasks (video editing, audio mixing, etc.). I have a few ideas on where to go for this, but I'd like your guys' opinion on it. Option 1: Razer Blade Stealth + 1070 (will put 1070 in my desktop and put my current 970 in core) + Razer Core Pros: Thinnest and lightest option Upgrades my current desktop graphics Longest battery life GPU Upgrades Possible Thunderbolt 3 + USB type-c Cons: 8GB of RAM (ewwww) Dual core (ewww) 2K Display Option 2: The New Razer Blade Pros: Quad Core 16GB of RAM Slightly Larger 3200x1800 Multi-touch Display Single unit Exceptional Keyboard Thunderbolt 3 + USB type-c Cons: 970M 6GB is slightly outdated Slightly Larger Significantly Heavier Shorter Battery Life Option 3: FANGBOOK 4 XTREME VR 300 Pros: Desktop 6700K Desktop GTX 1070 16GB of RAM 4K G-Sync Display Cons: HUGE No upgrade path Thermal issues Very little documentation on keyboard, build quality, cooling, etc No Thunderbolt Option 4: The New Razer Blade + Sell current PC (minus my 970 and storage devices), then buy Razer Core I'm not going to do the Pros and Cons of this one as I would rather just explain why I personally think it is the best option. This way, if I want to go over to a friend's house or something and bring my laptop to do some light/medium gaming, I can do that by simply bringing the blade. But when I am at home, I wouldn't need to compromise on much performance (with just a slight downgrade in CPU performance) as I would have the near-desktop performance on the CPU and desktop performance on the GPU along with all of my monitors, mechanical keyboard, and wired mouse. While I wouldn't be able to upgrade the CPU in the future, I doubt it will become a real bottleneck for many years to come, and by then I will have most likely already upgraded my setup to suit my needs at that time. __________________________________________________________________________________________ So! Let me know what you guys think, and if you think that Option 4 is not what I should pursue then please let me know! Otherwise, thank you for reading!

hello techies, My friend has a pc that he uses for gaming but is looking to upgrade his graphics card. His cpu is only an amd 6300 and he wants to get an nvidia gtx 970. I know this is overkill for his cpu and it'll throttle, but I don't know if he took my word for it or is going to upgrade anyways. All I was looking for was some confirmation to show him that he wouldn't benefit that much from a 970, and possibly a recommendation for a card he should get instead. Thanks! -Cantoni
