Budget (including currency): Not really important, as the question is hypothetical. But let's say 40000 roubles (around 500$ USD) Country: Russia So, as i'm trying to replace my current platform for Z690 Aorus Pro + 12700K + 2x16Gb DDR5 (other hardware will be the same as in the profile info), i decided to look into custom loop liquid cooling possibilities for my current case. Because the size limitations for radiators and mounting points aren's really clear in the Silverstone's manual - i'm not so sure which ones would fit. Right now i was looking generally in the direction of EKWB's waterblock + pump-tank combo + radiator (first two are EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE 200 D5 PWM and EK-Quantum Velocity² D-RGB - 1700 Full Nickel accordingly) with some Noctua NF-F12IPPC-3000-PWM coolers for the radiator. Though i'm quite lost in choice of the radiator itself: in terms of size (360mm or 280mm), thickness and mounting position (top or front). No plans for modifying the case itself or removing/replacing the stock 140mm coolers on the front though.

Hello honorable LTT community, could you help me with some tips and advice for a custom liquid cooling system? I admit it, I am quite enthusiastic more than I would like, and so I bought an ekwb brand liquid cooling system, a water block from cpu and gpu, 2 radiators, 20 fans, and the water block designed for the Obsidian 1000D, and also if that wasn't enough I decided to use a rigid tube, I have all the tools (I think), and the specific help is that I should do now, I'm constantly discovering new things, and with that I'm starting to lose my mind. Should I clean the radiator even if it's new? Should I clean all the water blocks even if they're new? The rigid tubes? Only with distilled water or do you also need vinegar? Please help. My components(including those of the liquid cooling system): - Power supply: Rog Thor 1200 Platinum -Motherboard: Asus Rog crosshair Vlll Extreme -Obsidian 1000D -Gpu: Nvidia 3090rtx Fe -cpu: Ryzen 5950x -Ram: Toughram Thermaltake 128gb (ddr4) -water block an pumps(yep this one have 2): waterblock ekwb 1000D edition -fans(20) ek vardar x3m D-Rgb -coolant El cryofuel Mystic Fog premix -waterblock cpu: Ek Quantum magnitudes -gpu waterblock: Ek Quantum Vector Fe -radiators: Ek coolstream Xe 480 and Ek coolstream Xe 360 -Ek-Hd petg tuve: 10/12 mm x 500mm -thermal paste: Noctua Nt-h2 i Will use in the waterblocks(gpu and cpu) -memories: Nvme Firecuda 530 2TB X 2, ssd m.2 Samsung 870QVO 4TB x 2, Hdd 14 TB barracuda pro x 2. -extra cables: Tt premium Pcie 4.0 Extender 90°., Lian Li strimer plus 24 pin and 8 pin extensión, for all rgb i have 6 cable splitter 6-1 i Will connect this ones in the rgb controller of Asus motherboard -hubs: Masterfan Pwm cooler master x 2, Corsair commander pro x 1, and the Asus motherboard have 1 for rgb. -others: 30 torque 4 flow indicator, 2 Ek Quantum and 2 Ek Quantum scalar, 6 torque 90°, 3 torque T forma, 1 valvule drain. And i think i finish, yes i need help with the water cooling, but if you could recommend some video, some youtuber yo bring help with a newbie, i Will be very grateful, or if some one of this community could help i Will very grateful, yes i asking for a Lot of help but i'm alone in this PC world, all thinks i Buy are recommendations, from youtuber but now i collapse i don't know what to do, thanks for reading.

Hey guys im new on the forum & i have a little question.. some one knows if the bitspower aorus 2080 xtreme waterblock fit in the aorus 2070 super? 99.9 the same pcb but im not sure can someone please help me? :C the pcb has the same number This is the Aorus 2070 super PCB This is the Aorus 2080 xtreme PCB and this is the water block -
Hey guys Basilisk here. After changing the config of a build I have planed I unfortunately realised that the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv doesn't support the EAXT motherboard I was looking at using. That being the ASUS X370 ROG Crosshair VI Extreme. So I was wondering what is a case that will support an EATX motherboard such as the above listed and maintains the sleekness of the Enthoo Evolv. I would also like to keep it in a similar price range to the Enthoo Evolv unfortunately ruling out most CaseLabs cases as they would be perfect. This case would also need to be able to support up to a 360mm Radiator and have room to fit a full custom loop by EKWB. Hope you can help. Basilisk

Hey guys Basilisk here. As I have decided to custom liquid cool both my CPU and GPU (link to the build will be included below) I was wondering a few things. Is any good purple coolant for custom liquid cooling and if so could you refer me to the product and secondly would you recommend using a coloured distilled water, coloured tubing (I can't find soft purple tubing anywhere), or coloured coolant for a custom loop. I understand that the coolant is basically just distilled water with some additives to create a slightly better cooling environment for the system. Thanks for the advice. So what are people's thoughts on cooling, internal and external, which would people prefer and why ? would you rather have a external cooling ? if so do you, if not whats stopping you from an external cooling system ? just trying to work something out and see if people want external cooling and why there is a lack of it

Hi all, This is my first time doing a custom loop and want to here feedback on what I am planning to do. My hardware has been all checked out, but loop order worries me. I know that the GPU creates the most heat. For aesthetics, I am doing a hard tubed loop and would like to cool the GPU first. My problem is that because my GPU will heat the liquid before it hits the CPU block, that it will start heating up the CPU to what the GPU is. What I am thinking about doing is installing a 120mm rad right after the GPU before the CPU, and then going to the 360mm rad and then into the res/pump. Is this a good idea? Or should I just try and cool the CPU first? I may have more questions in the future. Thanks all!

My budget is around 10.000$ I am planning to build a very high-end pc, mostly for gaming. I do need help in builiding it, starting from the case selection going down to the details, peripherals and so on.. Please provide as much answers as you can, especially regarding the peripherals. Please provide as much details as possible. --- EDIT --- I decided to use pcpartpicker instead of Amazon. This is my pcpartpicker, check it out please: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: AMD - Threadripper 1950X 3.4GHz 16-Core Processor ($749.99 @ Newegg) Motherboard: Asus - ROG ZENITH EXTREME EATX TR4 Motherboard ($469.89 @ Newegg Marketplace) Memory: G.Skill - TridentZ RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($420.98 @ Newegg) Memory: G.Skill - TridentZ RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($420.98 @ Newegg) Storage: Samsung - 970 Pro 512GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($229.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO 4TB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($1499.99 @ Newegg) Video Card: Zotac - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB AMP Extreme Core Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($799.49 @ OutletPC) Video Card: Zotac - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB AMP Extreme Core Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($799.49 @ OutletPC) Case: Thermaltake - View 71 TG RGB ATX Full Tower Case ($169.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: Thermaltake - Toughpower DPS G RGB Titanium 1500W 80+ Titanium Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($369.05 @ Amazon) Case Fan: Corsair - LL120 RGB LED 43.2 CFM 120mm Fan ($32.01 @ Newegg) Case Fan: Corsair - LL120RGB LED (Three Fans With Lighting Node PRO) 43.2 CFM 120mm Fans ($94.98 @ Amazon) Case Fan: Corsair - LL140 RGB LED 51.5 CFM 140mm Fan ($36.74 @ OutletPC) Monitor: Asus - ROG SWIFT PG27UQ 27.0" 3840x2160 144Hz Monitor ($2435.40 @ Newegg Marketplace) Keyboard: Corsair - K95 RGB PLATINUM Wired Gaming Keyboard ($171.90 @ Amazon) Mouse: Razer - Naga Trinity Wired Optical Mouse ($90.02 @ Amazon) Headphones: Corsair - VOID PRO RGB (White/Black) 7.1 Channel Headset ($98.79 @ Amazon) Speakers: Razer - Leviathan 60W 5.1ch Speakers ($187.59 @ Amazon) Total: $9077.27 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-07-04 08:32 EDT-0400 I got few questions on the build aswell: - Is the case I picked good? - Should I go for Corsair Fans instead of Thermaltake ones (that would match my new case choice)? - I went for a Thermaltake psu mostly because he's rgb. It's a titanium certified psu 1250w.. Is that too much power? Would my electricity consumption benefit from using a 1000w platinum one? - I don't know about the gamepads.. Screenshots: My plan was a gpu sli composed of 2 high-tier gpus and a custom liquid cooling system. I'll post a few screenshots showing some moddded pcs I like: 570x dual gpu: http://hexus.net/media/uploaded/2016/11/824d4b43-ff8f-4... 570x + ll120 fans: https://cdn.pcpartpicker.com/static/forever/images/cont... 570x + ml120 fans: https://www.overclock.net/photopost/data/1655111/4/4a/4... 570x + custom liquid cooling: https://www.scan.co.uk/images/products/2902162-b.jpg 570x insight on cusom liquid cooling: https://linustechtips.com/main/uploads/monthly_2018_04/... anidees AI crystal timelapse mod: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/o7i6DSCKNA0/maxresdefault.jpg General questions: 1. Will a middle-tower case, like the "Corsair 570x crystal", be spacious/wide enough to sustain such a build? (I showed some pictures with dual gpu build and liquid cooling, but it looks very narrow). 1b. If not, I'd like to pick the "anidees AI Crystal", which is a full-tower case that looks incredibly good to me, but I never heard of the "anidees" company before.. are they trustable/reliable as sellers? 1c. Will there be any compatibility problems with the 11xx series? 2. Should I wait for the 1180 series to be released or should I get 1080 ti instead? I just read that 1180 will probably be mounting GDDR6 memory, which may be far better than the current GDDR5 mounted by most gpus. I wouldn't care about a 20% performance increase, but I fear that this may be a little "gap" in the gaming world. 2b. If yes, what can I get as a substitute in my build? I was planning to get a 1050 Ti. 2c. What about the custom liquid cooling system? I am gonna ask a local shop to build it (I'm not good with pipes and stuff). If the clcs (custom liquid cooling system, from now on "clcs") is planned for a single gpu how much tedious is to change it to fit 2 gpus (2x 1180)? 3. Is a 1000W PSU enough to power this machine? 3b. If not, how much power is needed? 3c. Should I invest some more money to get a "Titanium" certificated one, or is a "Platinum" enough? (Consider I plan to power off my pc only to install updates and for maintenance) 3d. Is an RGB PSU a nice addition to the customization? (it doesn't look very bright to me) 4. Should I get a top-tier cpu? (threadripper or i9) 4b. Will I experience any increase in performances running one of those cpus? (Consider gaming, 3d modeling, 3d rendering) 5. Do you think Corsair ML120 PRO RGB looks bad compared to LL120 RGB? I do, and thus can't decide. 6. Do you think 4TB are enough as an archive storage? 7. Do you think that Gunnars (gaming glasses) may be useful? Detailed questions about components/peripherals: A. Corsair 570X Crystal vs anidees AI Crystal - which one is better, and why? B. Ryzen 7 2700x vs Intel Core i7 8086k - which one is better, and why? C. Ryzen Threadripper 1950x vs Intel Core i9 7980XE - which one fits my build the most, and why? D. Samsung 970 EVO M.2 vs. Samsung 970 PRO M.2 - which one is better, and why? E. Corsair ML120 PRO RGB vs Corsair LL120 RGB - which one is better, and why? F. Seagate Barracuda Pro 7200rpm 10TB vs. Samsung 860 EVO SSD 4TB - which one should I pick, and why? G. Corsair K95 Platinum vs any other valuable gaming keyboard - which one is better, and why? (make suggestions, please) H. Razer Naga Trinity vs any other valubale gaming mouse - which one is better, and why? (make suggestions, please) I. Asus PG27UQ vs Acer Predator X27 - which one is better, and why? Looking for: I. A pair of "over-ear" headphones.. They must be "over-ear" because my ear suffer a lot from wearing "on-ear" ones. I'd like them to be bluetooth or wireless. I found this one, are these good? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L6S6XWO/ref=ox_sc_... II. A gamepad (actually 2) to play some offline games.. Scufs are way overexpensive, and considering I won't be using them much I don't think I'll be getting one. XBox One original pads are really expensive, but I do like the design and ergonomics. I found these ones, but they are even more expensiven (but with a cool design): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076ZC7KQM/ref=ox_sc_... Could you please suggest me a good gamepad (cabled or not)? RGB would be great, but I don't really care much about the pad.. III. An external sound system. I was looking over "soundbars" which seems pretty solid. I found Razer's soundbar: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PK2POOU/ref=ox_sc_... Looks good to me because it has an external subwoofer aswell. If you were me, which one would you choose? Please provide me suggestions about good external audio systems (not necessarily soundbars). ----- Thanks everyone, your opinion means a lot to me. Roberto

The way internal cable management is managed in the new Aventum looks really great, I must say. An internal backplane handles the modular cables so they don't have to be routed up from the PSU, resulting in cleaner runs and more versatile system configurations. The "liquid distribution block" is a really nice visual add as well, and it's manufactured by EK so you know it's a quality part. The window on the other side of the PC is really interesting as well, and it's something that I haven't really seen on any consumer cases other than Lian Li and In Win's glass cases. The case itself is absolutely gorgeous. It has this sort of CaseLabs meets 900D vibe that I can dig with custom paint jobs to top it all off. And it's made in the USA, creating business for domestic machine shops instead of outsourcing. The price starts at $4930, and for that you get a 6700K with 16GB 2666MHz RAM, a GTX 980 Ti, the custom liquid cooling loop for the CPU only, a 1TB Samsung 850 Pro, 2TB HDD, ASUS Z170-A, EVGA 850W G2 and Windows 10. The price on the surface seems high, but the custom fabrication and customer support/warranty make it a bit more worth it. So what do you guys think of the new Aventum III? I personally think it's fantastic. It seems to have amazing specs with great fit and finish. I am try to save for dual gtx 980 ftw and trying to decide to have dual corsair/nzxt brackets with thermaltake 360mm ultimate/nzxt x61 krakens or have custom 420mm radiators and a 120mm radiator and costom cpu and gpu blocks in my case. just how much better is the custom vs aio in temps but the aio requires no maintenance so is it worth it to go full custom.
