I am having issues with my usb ports on my rear i/o. I have an asus z170-a mobo and all of my usb ports including my front panel ports are working. But, the 2 usb 3.0 ports on the back of the mobo do not work and when I try to uninstall the malfunctioning driver the error comes up again. I keep getting error code 43 in device manager and nothing I do fixes it. I tried calling asus but they would not answer. I also tried downloading and installing all of the usb 3.0 drivers off of the asus website but this did not help. Anything else I can do?

First of all, hello, I'm new here. Recently I was playing some CS:GO and suddenly everything went black and froze (couldn't even toggle caps-lock light on my keyboard). I restarted and the gpu wasn't used, it was using the integrated gpu. In device manager my GTX 780 was marked with a problem (code 43). I replaced it with a GF 210 to test and it works fine. I tried: Opening it and cleaning Downloading other drivers Reinstalling Windows (tried 7 and 10) Pushing on all chips Using DDU (+) It worked twice and it wasn't registering the problem, I opened CS:GO and loaded a simple map (not a lot of textures or vertices) and there weren't any problems. Then I tried loading a more complex map (de_dust2) and it started flickering a bit and then crashed right after loading (this time it went weird brown color, not black, if that matters). This makes me think it might be an issue with memory. After it crashed again it now registers as code 43 in device manager again. I never had any issues with this card, I have it for around 3 years now. It was never overclocked or messed around with, never had high temperatures since I was regularly changing the thermal paste. Runs with standard air cooling it came with. Other specifications in case somebody asks: Motherboard: MSI B75MA-P45 Power Supply: ZS-Series 550W

Hey guys! I have been facing an odd issue. I have a vega 56 PowerColor GPU and I have a code 43 error, which should be a driver issue. I have deleted the drivers with DDU multiple times(both Nvidia and AMD) before installing the new drivers, nothing solved the issue. More things that I have tried: Using another GPU on the same PC (RTX 2060, not mine) - Working normally. Enabling integrated GPU and reinstall drivers(DDUed first) - not working. Tried different preinstalled BIOS modes (the physical switch on the GPU) - not working I have tried the latest AMD drivers (19.7.3) - not working Tried blockchain drivers (Aug23) - not working What else should I try before sending it back to the seller?

Soo a friend gave me this galax gtx 960 that has artifacts, the symptoms are, it takes about 25 seconds to display any image and then shows this odd information(image 2) and then proceeds to boot displaying this white lines 100% of the time(image 1), even on the mb bios, on the device manager it recognizes the card, but with code 43 and error code 0000002b when opening the gpu-z all the information seems right except that it shows a 0mb of video memory (image 3) which leads me to think that is likely a problem with the memory, i can't install the drivers, i have all old drivers uninstalled with ddu, next issue, i looked at the pcb and noticed one of thoose r22 bricks (idk what they are called) is "missing"(image 4) i can't tell if it was removed but probably wasn't, the fixes i tried were cleaning it with a bath of alcohol and baking it at 390f for 12 minutes, none of them worked, the error still persists, next thing i will try to do is using a heat gun on the memory chips, if any of you guys could help me even with just a guest of what it could be, i will be thankful, good night image 1.jfif image 2.jfif image 3.jfif image 4.jfif

My PC crashed while gaming and rebooted several times. After the reboot , the following issues came up: 1. Jagged horizontal lines are being displayed on screen during boot, during windows interface and even in safe mode. These lines disappear is BIOS and if the monitor is directly connected to the MoBo. Also, when taking a screenshot, the lines are not visible. 2. NVIDIA settings/ control panel is not detected 3. Windows device manager detects graphic card but is displaying 'Error Code 43' I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps : 1. Physically removed and reseated the GPU after removing any dust. 2. Reconnected and replaced all cables from GPU to PSU or Monitor 3. Updated Windows 4. Uninstalled drivers through DDU app 5. Updated / Rollback Drivers 6. Updated BIOS 7. Re-Installed Windows After going through the above troubleshooting steps, the problem still persisted. SO assuming this was a hardware issue, I sent in my GPU for RMA with Asus. I was provided with a replacement card through Asus, BUT THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS ! Im lost at this point. Can anyone help? Hi all, Recently my PC developed an issue where upon startup, Windows detects some sort of problem (the error message doesn't seem to detail what the problem could be) and decides to disable my main graphics card with a "Code 43" error displayed if I look at the VGA in the device manager. The issue doesn't appear to be related to my drivers, since the problem shows up on different operating systems (I dual-boot Win7 and Win10 and I tried updating my drivers on Win7, but not on Win10, yet the issue shows up on both). Online solutions suggest it might be an electrical/power issue, but the suggested method (powering off my PC, holding the power button to discharge any electricity and turning back on) only worked once. If I keep restarting, after a few attempts, things got back to normal for a while, but the issue remains and succesful startups are becoming ever more rare, which is rather annoying/worrying. Any ideas as to what could cause the issue? Is my GPU dying? Thanks in advance for any tips. Full specs: CPU: Intel i5 4690K 16 GB DDR3 RAM Gigabyte GTX 970 500W PSU Windows 7 64bit/Windows 10 64bit

Hi guys, I changed my 9600 GT for a new MSI GTX 1050 2G AERO. At first, everything worked fine, but then problems started. In device manager I get the Code 43 on my GPU. I tried reinstalling the Driver because it was already the newest and it didn't solve the problem. I even tried a CMOS reset which I read in one topic somewhere. I managed to make the GPU somehow work again, but I am back to the Code 43. The weirdest thing is that the GPU has output and works, but not as it should. Only basic functionality. For example, Windows Aero doesn't work and 3DMark reports that my GPU doesn't support DirectX 11 but it didn't report this when the GPU worked. My OS is Windows 7 x64 and Motherboard is GA-N650SLI-DS4L. Thanks for any help.

So I was playing a game earlier when all of a sudden my screen started flashing colors in vertical lines then went black (first and only time it did this, even after trying every fix i could find), after I restarted my pc the resolution was lower than normal, nvidia control panel crashed everytime I tried to open it and my refresh rate dropped from 144hz to 60hz, First I thought my gpu died but it didnt make sense at all because it was still giving out signal output so I started thinking it was a drivers issue, after reinstalling the nvidia drivers while trying every single "fix" for the code 43 error: 1. using DDU and reinstalling the drivers 2. the hard shutdown thing 3. using DDU while stopping windows from installing new updates 4. doing the same but using my cpu graphics while installing the nvidia drivers 5. reinstalling windows Any Ideas? I can give more details if needed

Hey so I found a gtx 780 windforce for really cheap and I'm thinking of buying it, but It has a defect. Windows detects the card but drivers won't work. I saw jay2cents fix the same issue with rom reflash. My question is what are other causes of code 43? Is it worth the risk? Have any of you had succes with fixing that error?

So my pc was running fine till two days ago when Windows updated it self and now my gpu doesnt work anymore only getting error code43 The Gpu is recognized. So, I was looking at some used graphics cards and I saw a GTX 780 for sale for like $25, but it has a Code 43. So my question is: should I get it? Is it easy to fix the problem or not. I did some googling and there seemed to be multiple ways of fixing the error. Is there a chance that the error is not fixable?

The last couple weeks I was having random BSOD when I would run a game I normally run in system tray (not a abnormal thing for the game either). No other issues with it but that. I decided to reimmage it to see if that helped. It didn't. So maybe thinking that the SSD is failing I decided to put it on the HDD. Then later cleaned it out with my air compressor. Did a real deep clean by taking out everything and applying new thermal compound. Took it back inside and started to get everything back on it. I started it after some updates then my resolution tanked. It is strange I have never had any strange artifacts only bsod and even now I am able to use it but only in 1024 x 768. I look in devices and it says code 43. Searched that up and try multi ways deleting the driver, the folders in the drive with/out the net connected just downloading the driver but nothing. Unplugging power and losing all excess power. Nothing again. Can anyone help? I do not have another PC to see if the 760 is dead (though again it's displaying) but I do have my old 560 somewhere unknown. Specs: I7-2600k @ 3.4 gigs 16 gigs of ram EVGA 760 FTW edition (newest part of the comp at 21/2 years)

Hi, so I recently decided to update my nvidia drivers from 368.x to 372.x, and (after using ddu) when I installed it, the installer completed just fine, however during the period where it actually installs the driver, the screen blacked out for a moment (as usual), but when it came back on, the resolution was diminished and basically looked just like the Microsoft basic display adapter. I then looked in device manager, where my 1060 was recognized, but had a little yellow error label. After opening up the properties, I saw that in the info box it said that it had stopped working and said that it was a code 43. Reverting back to 368.x fixes the issue, even though that driver was meant for Windows 10 1511 (pre anniversary update), and I have Windows 10 1607 (anniversary update). Specs: i7 6700k Asus Z170-A mobo EVGA GTX 1060 SC

Ok, so I have a special problem for you today boys and girls, one that revolves around an end user that somehow screwed up his own computer so bad, I can't figure it out. Specs! i7 2600 generic motherboard, ASUS TX 750M 8GB RAM (4x2GB) (Generic) EVGA GTX 590 Now for the issue... I built this computer once, from the scraps of old PCs for a friend of a friend who couldn't afford much (his friends each offered up a part or money to get it for him). worked like a dream. easy installs, everything ran great. Now, this guy, has an issue booting it once, and decides "I'll run the W10 OS refresh utility!" Ok, whatever. BUT, he decided halfway through "Maybe this isn't a good idea" and unplugs the PC. *sigh* OK, so new OS time. I got it installed, and windows is working, but... It won't take GPU drivers. Like, the 590 is outputting signal, but won't install NVIDIA drivers. After some digging, I found in device manager that both cores are showing "Code 43" for "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems". I have tried: booting into Safe mode and using DDU reinstalling the drivers Using geforce experience to install drivers NOT using geforce experience I'm totally lost. Never encountered this before. Help?

I'm currently trying to help a friend out, he has an older system with a GT 640 installed, and he is getting error code 43... I have tried reinstalling drivers, DDU in safe mode and reinstalling drivers, and even reinstalling windows... Still Error code 43... What's causing this and what can I do to fix it? I can provide more information as possible.

So basically today i upgraded my pc from windows 7 to 10. Right after the installation was complete i could see the resolution was pretty low. Also i couldn't change it. It is just greyed out. In the device manager there is an exclamation point and it says code 43 inside the gtx 780. I don't think it is a hardware issue since it came right after the upgrade. I build the pc my self a year ago, and haven't had any GPU problems. What i have tried: Delete and reinstall drivers through windows Delete and reinstall drivers from nvidias website, the installer said i did not have anything compatible, so could not complete the install. Restarted and completely shutdown.
