Hello, I have the Xiaomi Mi 11 and for some reason I can no longer (for the past month now) take further away photos without it being very blurry when I could flawlessly prior. I could even zoom into a performance in a concert before but that's not even remotely a possibility any more. Close up photos and videos like someone right in front of me is still as good as it ever was. The auto focus on those photos work as it should too. What could I do to try and fix this puzzling issue? Thank you.

I recently installed a Ryzen 9 5900X and my 4070 and I've had this problem of apps (even BIOS) launching in the wrong resolutions and becoming blurry, especially noticed with Steel Series GG and Valorant. I attached a video of what Steel Series is doing. Valorant however if launched in full screen mode, applies 3840x2160 or something along those lines. I've tried everything to fix this and nothing is helping... PLEASE HELP!! 2024-02-28 01-36-22.mkv

https://imgur.com/gallery/3d08ZYe I noticed this happening after I recently made a new PC build with a fresh copy of Windows 11 about 20 days ago. It seems to only happen to 3rd party apps I downloaded to configure my PC components. It does not happen to chrome or windows paint. It seems to only happen with my lian li software L connect 3, NZXT CAM and Cricut design space. I can make the blurry text stop by closing the program but then it snaps back to being blurry. I took a screen shot to include my browser to compare the text "Search Google or type in URL" Thanks for any help. Ive reached out for help on reddit and a few folks have said to try text scaling, but that did not help. I have 2 different monitors with different resolutions and it does it on both. When its blurry and I click inside the app, like NZXT cam, it becomes clear again. Its like its out of focus until I click it. Thanks!

Does that exist? The problem is its really blurry and kinda pixelated pictures, so a way to "unblur" would be great as well, im not sure it exists though? i randomly tried img.upscaler which wasn't that bad but it did nothing about the blur and the pixelation was also almost untouched... basically it did an ok upscale job, missing the "AI" completely... Thing is if a paid program is the only option and not too expensive id do it, but from what im seeing most "AI upscaling" is a scam... but i know it exists, ive seen "hd" videos made from old 80s footage (laserdisc) with excellent image quality, and i would just want to do still pictures for now. So what are my options here?

Just tried it, going from 1080p to something like 1600x900... I can see how it's beneficial for low power systems to get at least a stable experience, but boy is it blurry... Tried with and without gpu scaling, there's no difference - though I'm not really sure what gpu scaling even does. So is anyone actually using this and how do you like it? And what alternative image sharpening / upscaling options are there? Is DLSS similar, if not what makes it better? I just can't imagine an upscaling algorithm that isn't blurry?

Hi, I bought myself a new monitor, and it's seems like I get worse fps then before, even if my new one have 75hz, and my old one has 60hz I don't know why when I play multiplayer games I feel like i'm playing at 30fps instead of 75 fps, my games run always over 75fps. Could it be because I had 1ms before and this new one as 5 or 4ms? It is suppose to have freesync too. Thanks to anyone that could help me out!

I assumed that the higher refresh rate, the crispier and smoother the image, but I was wrong. I was watching a video that was comparing two monitors and he showed that issue on one of them. Without looking for reviews, how do you know if a high refresh monitor has (or not) crispy image? Does the CPU and GPU play a part on this? (assuming that perfomance isn't an issue, i.e easily go above the refresh rate in terms of FPS)

60 Hz is very likely still the most common refresh rate to play at. I just gave it a shot for an hour, everything looked blurry whenever I moved my camera, couldn't focus a thing Could it be that most people just got used to that blurriness? Once you go 120+ Hz is so hard to go back...

Hello I have an issue with the desktop wallpaper on my windows 10 ver. 1909, no matter if i use 1080p or 4K wallpapers, edges appear blurry and out of focus. This only appears when i use the pictures as a wallpaper, if i view them in Windows Photos, everything looks nice and sharp on the same screen. I have a BenQ Zowie XL2546 Monitor on a GeForce RTX2070 Graphics Card, running 1920x1080@240Hz. - My wallpaper setting/positioning is "Centre" This is an example of the blurryness around the edges that i am referring to: https://imgur.com/EPdyZ8V I am trying to use this wallpaper: https://www.datocms-assets.com/17359/1588346329-astralismay16-9v4.jpg I hope i can get some advice on how to fix this issue... Hi and thank you for taking the time to read and possibly help! I have just experienced a major graphics issue that has now turned into a major slow down on my PC. I was running oculus rift creating a 3d model, then tried to render the model in a 3d printing slicer. The graphics crashed and everything went blurry with sharp lines running down parts of the screen. I restarted but no effect, it was even present in bios. I left it for a while but still no luck. I then swapped around some spare graphics cards and thankfully it just stopped blurring (woot..) but then I get into windows and everything is running incredibly slowly, even the mouse movement stops and starts. ANY help appreciated. Specs wise I'm running a 7700k, 1070, 16gb ram. Thank you.

I'm running windows 8.1 64 bit. So here is the full story, one day Microsoft released the Creators update. After I got it the issues started, many others fixed the issue by disabling xbox features and game mode. I tried to get help but couldn't get any answers. I then got frustrated so I switched to windows 8.1. The issue STILL continues and I really need help. Some games are near unplayable with this issue. Everything just looks blurry. This only started happening when the creators update was released. HELP PLEASE

Hello, recently with a few applications the text and other parts of the screen have been getting blurred and going in and out of focus, like on discord i can barely read anything on screen until i hover my mouse over it, even then the text goes in and out of focus making it very difficult to read. As you can see, my nvidia control panel can be read fine, and i even reverted their settings to default. I also turned my overclock off and restarted my computer. This has been going on for the past couple days. If you are also experiencing this issue, i have the fix for you and its quite simple. Fix: for anyone else having this problem, install the latest nvidia drivers and you should be good

gaming-monitor MSI Optix MAG271C Monitor blurry icons and text
IncrediblePony posted a topic in Displays
Hello forums I have run into some problems regarding my monitor and image quality. It appears that smaller fonts and icons on my main monitor is kinda blurred and on my second monitor the text and icons are crystal clear. I use the MSI monitor because it's 144hz and great for gaming. Both monitors are 1080p 27" monitors. My second one is an ACER monitor which I use for coding, media etc. The attached images show the differences in quality. I don't know if compression makes it hard to tell. I have tried making adjustments in DPI in the windows display options. I have tried calibrating the monitor in windows. I have tried changing settings in the nVidia control panel. The monitor is connected to my nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card through display port. And I have updated every single possible video card or monitor driver I can imagine. I'm at wits end here. I don't know what to for for any more to find some answers. Please help. Because I spent quite a lot of money on this monitor for FPS gaming, and I can't seem to get a crystal clear image. [EDIT] Since the images were no help I have written in the comments below my reasoning/troubleshooting steps. See if you can help please. I don't understand what's going on here. -

I have recently been using the atom text editor. However, some of the text is quite blurry, until I mouse over it, but then it becomes blurry again after a few seconds. I think this may have to do with the nVidia drivers thinking atom is a game and applying some settings to it. How do I fix this?

Not a huge deal, but I figured I would ask here and see if anyone knows a solution or even the cause. Whenever I leave my computer running for a few days at a time, locking whenever I'm away, some of my taskbar icons end up gettting blurry, and it worsens over time. Probably hard to tell, but that is the Corsair iCUE icon to the left of the Razer one. It isn't limited to third party either, because Windows Defender do it too, but not OneDrive, for example. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Recently I bought Gigabyte G32QC. After powering it up, I noticed ghosting and bluryness when browsing web. Then I tried few games and it was horrible. I've read that it is a common problem with VA panels, but I think that this kind of ghosting is not normal, it destroys the enjoyment of 165hz. I was thinking that it could be problem with graphics card(Geforce GTX 1050 Ti). Any suggestions?

Hey guys! So recently I ordered 2 monitors (cause I couldn't test them in any shop) and I couldn't decide between them. Bought them off ebay are claimed to be used only for 3 days on Dreamhack. It is an official shop selling these, a lot cheaper than the MSRP. One of them is: Asus rog swift PG27V, 165hz 27" 1440p monitor, gsync TN PANEL The other one: Asus rog strix XG32V, 144hz 31,5" 1440p monitor, vsync VA Panel My GPU is nvidia obviously, but right now I think I'll stick to the larger one vsync. However I noticed a weird thing, whenever I open the browser, and I am on a completely white page, the monitor seems like it's dirty, but IT'S definitely NOT. Both monitors do this shit, and I don't know how to get rid of these very ugly grey dirty stains, or whatever they are. I am really not sure why am I experiencing this. I hope the pictures below can actually show what I'm talking about. I know it's not 100 percent cause it's taken with my phone, but it's still visible. It is not noticable in games or anything, just on white backgrounds, at least for now. I would like to know what is this, so I know to send back both (if they are really faulty) or just one, if this is normal and I can get rid of it. THEY ARE NOT FULL GREY, as they appear in the picture, there are just a lot of little grey dots or w/e. HELP ME PLEASE! IT'S VERY UGLY!

So I am currently using an old piece of sh*t moniter that is Eizo L557 and it's native resolution and refresh rate is 1280*1024 and 75hz respectively. I was using 1024*768 and 60hz previously but then when I got to know that it can also support 75hz, I changed it to 75hz but got disappointed as the screen/display got blurry on 75hz. Can Anyone help me figure out this problem? Your Answers will be highly obliged. TIA.
