Hello... Recently my friend ask me what the best vga for game with best price too,, so i said msi gtx 970 gaming,, she buy it , then ask me to install on her pc.. I've install it properly,, but no signal .. I use HDMI since the best option on her monitor are that connection.. i found no issue with other peripheral , even her previous vga works fine on it (zotac 550ti) .. here's her spec : I3 2100 asus p8h61 m-lx corsair vengeance 4x2gb kit corsair cx500 samsung evo 250 wd green 2tb no cheesy stuff at all , standard personal computer.. i've check both 6+2 pin vga power port on 550ti, works fine. i change with included power converter still no signal.. it still beeping on boot, but the display switched to onboard vga doogle.. i'm assuming this msi gtx 970 gaming was dead from the store.. am i missing something ? or it is pure vga hardware failure ? it's happen yesterday,, so if do you think it is pure hardware failure we will send it back to store today to get replacement.. still, feeling bad for my self for this mistakes.. Thankyou before...

So I have a Acer Iconia a500 tablet and it was dead. I let it charge for about 6 hours and when I turned it on it just turned off almost immediately. I took the tablet apart and took out the battery and put it on the charger It turned on without a problem so I assume that its a bad battery I ordered a new battery and installed it. It worked and came with a 40% charge It died again and I try to charge it again. Its doing the same thing again I don't understand what is happening It works without the battery so it cant be the charger. A brand new battery works but wont charge. Please help and thanks in advance -Tyler

Hello guys, I have a Gigabyte X79S-UP5-Wifi and I have windows 8.1 installed on an SSD. I bought a new HDD to make a hackintosh. I wanted to put OS X on the seperate HDD. I made the boot drive and booted to it. It didn't seem to load at all. I read up on some stuff and some articles said I need to go into BIOS and "Load optimized defaults". Which I did. When I restarted the spash screen shows up and stays for a full minute and then it just goes to a flashing underscore at the top left of the screen. It wont let me into my BIOS at all or do anything. It is stuck. What I have tried: Took out CMOS battery and put back in I shorted the two prongs that say "CLR_CMOS" Remove all devices attached to computer other than keyboard and mouse I still am stuck with the same issue. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this or why loading optimized defaults would do this. Thanks, Alec

I don't know if this is the right place to put this. I have Windows 8.1 and when I click shut down, windows shuts down and my monitor turns off. But my PC stays switched on (with LEDs and fans running). If I leave it for about 5 minuets it restarts. If I restart the same thing happens and doesn't restart. This has been happening for nearly 2 weeks now and I can't seem to fix it. I have to hold down the power button for 5 seconds to turn it off. I tried resetting my power options in control panel and clearing CMOS, with no success. I tried changing what the power button does and turning off the Hybrid Shut down and still it happens. I have had this issues once before now, when I first built this PC in OCT last year and I can't remember how I fixed it last time. If you need more info just ask. Any help would be appreciated. My Specs i7 4770K @ 3.9GHz 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM (2400MHz) Gigabyte Z87X-UD5 TH (has latest BIOS) Gigabyte GTX 780Ti GHz Edition @ 1270MHz OCZ Revodrive 3x 2 480GB (OS and games here) Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 10 850W Windows 8.1 64 bit

Ok, so I just built my pc and turned it on, went into the bios to check temperatures and everything was fine, I then went and did a few things for about 5 mins so I could leave it idling, when I came back I went to sit down and my pc turned off. I have tried lots of different things like a different psu, no ram, one ram, one (other) ram, resetting bios. also i can hear the PSU turn off when i hold the power button down, after turning it on of course. I'm thinking its either the motherboard or ram because I'm using random ddr3 ram from an old pc, although I'm not sure because it did turn on for a bit before. this is my first post so sorry if theres not enough info. my parts are listed here http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/p/MXVwFT without the ram and graphics card.

Hi forum, So today I bought a chromecast. I connected it to my internet on a 2.4ghz band and then went through the setup process on my Galaxy Note 3. After the setup I went straight into the YouTube app, and it worked great. However, no other cast enabled apps seem to work, The screen cast feature also doesn't work as it says it can't find a cast enabled device. I know for a fact that my phone can connect to the chromecast as I am able to tweak settings in the app, and the changes show up on the TV. I am also using an ASUS RT AC66R as a router. Why is YouTube the only app that is able to cast? I bought this thing mainly to cast from Crunchyroll and to screen mirror, and neither of these seem to be working. Thanks in advance!

I just bought a a new asus maximus VII formula and when I turn on the PSU, the lights on the motherboard turn on, but when I press the START button, nothing happens. I have a Intel i7 4790K CPU, 2 Sticks of G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600mhz RAM, a NZXT Hale90 v2 1200w, and a EVGA GTX980 Video Card on the Motherboard. I also connected the Front Panel connectors on my case and when I press the power button nothing happens, same result when I tried shorting the power pins. Do I have a faulty motherboard or what?

Hey guys, I just recently returned from school and my PC won't turn on... I tried turning off the power supply, re plug the cable, turn it on, and nothing... I looked under my power supply to see if the fan suffocated and there was barely any dust. Then I try turning off the power bar it's outlet is connected to, and back on... Still doesn't work. Please help me out, should I open it up and check the components? My monitor works just fine. How can I check if something is broken? Is it something on their part? I've only had my PC for 3 months now... EDIT: It was working JUST fine last night. *Yes, I did check the thread in this section... Nothing helps... I haven't checked the power supply yet.*

Hi guys Luke here back for more help So here's the problem i got a new monitor bracket arm thing monitor worked fine before mounting. I mounted it and it would not turn on i have tried taking it off and back on the stand and tried turning it back on but it still wont turn back on. Strange thing the computer still detects the monitor and shows up in the windows screen resolution setting when the power and the hdmi of the monitor is plugged in and doesn't show it when not plugged in so it is still working to some extent just no picture is showing. It is a LG IPS LED 23EA63 Monitor here it is http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LG-23EA63-23-IPS-LED-Widescreen-Monitor-Full-HD-1080p-HDMI-DVI-VGA-/331103134616 . It was brand new from ebuyer when i brought it and it is still under warranty by a month so if you guys cant help me fix it then i will just send it back and get a replacement. Another thing is when i hold the function button as for the as i am holding it the function button turns on the red light at the front. All the other buttons don't seem to do anything(as far as i can tell). When screwing in the top left corner screw(when looking at it from the back)did click a few times when going in so if there is anything important under there that controls the monitor maybe i broke it or went through it?? Um thing thats about all any and all help will be great thanks so much guys really need this fixed asap using a crappy monitor atm ! - Luke

Hi guys, Here is how I have my network setup: My modem is connected to an Ethernet switch, which leads to a Xbox 360, PS4, and a power-line adapter which goes to my router and computer. For whatever reason, the connection to the power-line works fine, but the connections to the Xbox and PS4 only show IP address errors. The consoles also connect fine over WiFi, but refuse to connect over LAN. Has anyone run into this issue before, or knows how to fix it?

so recently i decided to clean my watercooling loop, all went well but a bit of water dripped down the motherboard. I dryed everything out and made sure there was no water so i decided to boot my computer up Everything was fine, games worked fine. No problems until i decided to shut down my computer. I clicked shut down and everything closed and proceeded to shut down but as soon as it does shuts down it turns back on again straight after. Tried holding down the power button on my case but same thing happened. Turned off then straight away turned on again. Was it possible that the water shorted something to cause it? if so im assuming the only way to fix it is by buying a new motherboard thanks

So guys, what should I do? (ohh and btw. my classemate also has the same operator as me...) Thanks for all your help!

Hi guys, I recently just bought a new case and heatsink as a upgrade for my PC. After putting all the parts back into the new case the PC wont display anything. I checked already for the PSU and that not fried and checked both sticks of ram (swapped both to make sure). I also took off the heatsink to see if the cpu was produsing and heat, after a couple a seconds it did so i turned of the system. Could my motherboard be dead or is it something i'm not checking thx.

Hello community members! I'll give a slight demonstration on what I am talking about... I have a problem, when entering in game.. sometimes the game freezes.. right? Now, when the game freezes, I would want to Alt tab, right? to go to task manager... but when I do that... it does the Alt Tabbing, but shows me a black screen... I mean like I can still see the windows ruler on the bottom, I see the black screen and the TASK Manager on the background.. EVERYTHING IS FINE, but hey.. I can't SEE the task manager.. I can only use my arrows to guess where should I press "Delete"... and it annoys me, really. What should I do? help :).. I am using Windows 8 Pro.. btw, I can't do a screenshot :|... cuz it happens from time to time. So you understand? 1. I launch the game 2. It freezes (RARELY) 3. I want to Alt Tab .. even Alt Ctrl Delete "task manager" etc... 4. I open up Task Manager but I still see a black screen but the Task Manager is running... 5. I need to guess where's the game's .exe to close it and press Delete. Why?... How can I solve this?

I was happily using steam yesterday. Today i opened it up and i simply wont load. i click on the icon and it say's "connecting to steam account: XxbossdogxX" , then it says "updating steam information." So that's all normal, but 2 seconds later the steam icon de-highlights itself in the taskbar and nothing opens up. i checks the task manager but steam isn't running. However, as it says "connecting to steam account: XxbossdogxX" (before it just closes) i check the task manager, steam is there as a process, but so is steamerrorreporter. these both disappear a few seconds later when the thing closes/doesn't open. I have already tried: running program as administrator deleting my entire steam folder except ,"steamapps" and "steam.exe" restarting my computer clicking on "steamerrorreporter" (nothing happens) making sure that steam is not starting up on boot I hope i wasn't to confusing HELP ME

Well I think I may have made a big mistake, and may have broken something! Basically today I got a new SSD, which I got working fine. While the side of my case was off, I thought well I may as well install some new RAM as well... but while one of the sticks was half way in I accidently hit the power button with my elbow and the system started up. I promptly stopped it hoping I hadn't caused any damage... I usually don't even open my PC with the power cable in, so the one time I do it screws me over. So now when I start my PC, it appears to start perfectly fine, but nothing is ever displayed on the monitor. I've tried two different graphics cards and tried running the system with only one stick of RAM, but nothing has worked. I pretty much only just bought most of the system, so I'm a little shaken and have no idea what to do. Here are my specs - Windows 8 Pro 64bit Intel Core i5 2500k MSI Z77MA-G45 EVGA ACX SC Geforce GTX 760 8 gb of Corsair Vengeance memory @ 1600mhz (2x4) Thermaltake Smartseries Smart SE 730W PSU Cheers in advance for any help, I'll probably take it to the local repair shop tomorrow if noone here can help me. God what have I done. Cheers, CheenoDash

I just built a system (the APU builds for Build-a-thon, working on that btw) and it won't POST. The Keyboard/Mouse won't come on. The fans spin up. Everything is installed correctly, I checked thrice (three times). I re-seated the RAM DIMMs and tried each of the two separately as well as together in different slots. Nothing. Not sure what to do now. RMA?

I have the elite version of hotspot shield. I bought it for me and my boyfriend, who's in Portugal right now, so we could watch Netflix together. I added all of my devices to the account just fine but it won't let us add his computer. When he clicks “Sign In” on the Hotspot Shield interface all it does is take him to the “My Account” page on the Hotspot Shield website (where he IS signed in) and doesn't add his computer. It keeps him in the trial version. We've tried reinstalling Hotspot shield and rebooting his computer multiple times and it still doesn't let us add his computer. I can't find anyone ells with this problem so I have no idea what to do. He's on windows 7, 32 Bit if it helps. If we can't get his computer added to the account then I’m definitely asking for a refund.

Even when stock it still has a CPU problem and I even have never tried to overclock this amazing L.O.S. I may just chuck this blue pile called a motherboard and say f*** it. Sucks as much as my dad's 72 Plymouth Road Runner... more like Road Clunker. I got it to run better with a CPU that has all of its pins but it just wouldn't boot today until I shut off the power at the power supply and wait one minute. I got better stuff to do besides play with stuff that comes broken from the factory. Piece of faulty junk, no wonder abit went under.

When I try and start razer synapse 2.0 it does nothing. I launch the .exe and it doesn't start up. My mouse cursor indicates that it is loading something for a second or two then stops. If I look in the services/processes tab of task manager it doesn't show up in there so it definitely isn't running. I have tried un-installing and re-installing everything I have to do with razer on my computer but to no avail. I have the razer black widow ultimate 2013 and a razer nostromo plugged in. I am running windows 7 64bit and can't seem to find a solution anywhere else so help would be appreciated thanks.
