Hi, so I want to sell my old PC to a friend, since I got a new one. I will reuse the GPU, SSD and one HDD, so here are the Specs of the PC I am going to sell: i7 4790k OCed to 4,7GHz BeQuiet Dark Rock 3 Asus Maximus VII Hero HyperX 16Gb DDR3 Running on 2,2GHz 750W PSU 1TB HDD with Win7 Wlan card (cheap so I wont bother to charge for it) DVD Player Shakoon Case with 3 LED-Fans green I am listing this from the top of my head so I don't have the exact product names of the parts. I don't want to charge my friend too much and I am going to help her install a GPU and help solve issues that may pop up. So what is your guess on how much I can charge for the system? Thanks in advance!

Sorry if this is the wrong area to post. I wasn't sure where exactly this would be categorized Long story short, Ive had nothing but problems out of my ISP for 4+ years, during this time they've brought & left around 10-14 different routers and wifi boxes. I have multiples of each, some worked for a short time others stayed active for a year. It was like someone eventually got in the box and they just kept swapping them once I had noticeable problems. I now have moved to a different ISP and want clear space, are these safe to reset & then sell? Ive seen while searching this question, some say No because pros who target people buy them and can Possibly recover stuff. Then Im seeing some people wanting specific models to fix home issues cheaper then their ISP(totally understand saving money). Im not looking to get rich but the amount of them I have might help on some bills and just the space savings alone. Overall, Would they be safe to sell after a reset? If not what Info could they get or problems could happen if they did fall into the wrong hands? Thanks P.S. Any info that might help me personally figure why they changed so many boxes would be appreciated. Last few times a tech guy came to "fix" things, they kept saying to each other, " I know I see it but I don't know what were going to do about it or why its there" Whatever it is they admitted was the reason and said I needed a new router, problem was still there within 2 minutes a new router hooked up.

Hey all, So I build a fair bit of comps and Ive recently decided to build a lil 'gaming' computer for a future budget gamer but I need help pricing it before I post it online The specs are: i5-4690k 8Gb Ram 240Gb Kingston SSD + 1Tb WD Black Gigabyte GA-Z87P-D3 Gigabyte 750 ti Black Edition be quiet! Pure Rock A 500bq to power it And to house it all Ive got a black and green case with a side panels and some green fans (yes with rgb leds, its a gamer build) that have the anti-vibration rubber and whatnot I'll post a photo when all the bits come in and it's built but goin by this what do you guys say is fair? I paid $510~ for all the bits and Ive been ensured the cpu and gpu weren't overclocked previously (I even called and asked cause I care). Also do you think it'd be worth offering to delid it and liquid metal it if the buyer wants me too and if so how much should I charge for that? Everyone says I make my prices too cheap so I'd like some input.. Edit: I changed the 750 ti for a 960 4G, raising component cost to 564 but Im much happier with the product as a whole. The unbalancedness was getting to me.

Hello everyone. I have some old laptops i got from my dads job. they were moving to a new location so he got me 5 old laptops that were in storage for about 3 years ... im going to high school and these are very old so i wouldn't expext someone to want money for them but if you are willing to exchange for money i wouldn't be opposed to just giving them away.

So I’ve got a Zotac, 980 ti Amp Extreme that I REALLY don’t want to sell but, at the moment, it’s kind of “useless” and I could really use the money. I was 100% a online PC gamer but I moved to a house with no internet. Since then I’ve had to switch to PS4 since my hotspot isn’t fast enough for my PC games. Anyway, I’ve noticed that the GPU on amazon still goes for around $750 new and I even saw a 3rd party listing for $1,000+ So, if I put my card on amazon for maybe $650-$700 think anyone would be interested? My adult life with bills and college are making things kind of tight and a friend of mine wants to go out of town at the end of the month to an event I’ll need money for as well. I was thinking I can just invest in a 1050ti or 1060 for now since my monitor is 2580x1080. Thoughts?

Presumably in the near future when Nvidia releases their cards, I will be purchasing there "2080 ti" or whatever it'll be called and I currently have a GTX 1080. Where's the best place to look to sell it besides ebay if possible? I want the least hassle possible and I'll be selling it with MSRP in mind so it should go fast, just want a place to start. And after suggesting whatever site, what's the process look like? I'm new and this is my first post. I tried finding a possible better place to post in discussion wise and I just concluded here, I apologise if I messed up ahah

I recently bought a very nice system from craigslist for $900. It has following specs: CPU: i7 4930k MOBO: ASUS RAMPAGE IV BLACK EDITION RAM: 8x8GB G.Skill Ripjaws Z 2400mhz DDR3 HDD 512GB patriot spark SSD COOLER: CM hyper 212 evo GPU: GTX 770 CASE: Corsair Air 540 PSU: AX1200i I looked at ebay prices for each item and got about $1200-$1600 for all of the stuff. I'm not sure if I should part it out, sell as is, or get a better GPU for it and sell it. I'm only looking to get the most money out of it as I can so I can make a new build or find another deal. I thought the best thing to do would be to upgrade the GPU, remove 32GB of the ram and call it a gaming pc and sell it, but I wasn't sure if I could do better another way.

Decided to try to get rid of my system from a few years ago, but I'm not sure how much to ask for it. Its a FX6300/750ti/8gb ram/500gb hdd build in a n200 case. It's being sold locally only, to someone who most likely isn't a techie. Some numbers that I wrote down a few weeks ago show maybe $250-$300, but let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

I am curious on what a good price would be for selling a GA-970A-DS3P (rev.1.0) motherboard. I would also be interested in finding out the difference between a rev. 1.0 board like I have and a rev. 2.x board.

So I have a simple question, I emailed EVGA asking if they know when they'll get more GPU stock and they said they really don't know but I'm soooo eager to get one to build my first PC already and water cool it, the guy also said that we do have some stock for people buying bundles and so I went through the bundles and saw three that had the GPU that I wanted but they each had a different EVGA X299 Motherboard with them. My question is who would wanna buy (from me) one of the three motherboards listed below for exactly the price they are listed on the site and it would be unopened completely, I would just receive it, take everything out that's mine and leave the motherboard box unopened and then just mail the mobo to whoever would buy it from me. Whichever motherboard you pick I will buy the bundle that has the motherboard. I really hope someone can do this so that I could build my first PC and hard tubing water cool it. Only will mail to US and Canada and the closer you are to me (Florida) the better. EVGA X299 Motherboards: EVGA X299 DARK, 151-SX-E299-KR, LGA 2066, Intel X299, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.1, USB 3.0, EATX, Intel Motherboard ($499.99) EVGA X299 FTW K, 142-SX-E297-KR, LGA 2066, Intel X299, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.1, USB 3.0, EATX, Intel Motherboard ($349.99) EVGA X299 Micro, 131-SX-E295-KR, LGA 2066, Intel X299, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.1, USB 3.0, mATX, Intel Motherboard ($299.99)

Hello there, I've recently upgraded the majority of my pc, i've been upgrading it over the past 3 years and saving the old parts. I've now got a whole (2014-2015) budget gaming pc lying in pieces I've done some research and some calculations on parts depreciating and how much other second hand parts are selling for and the below build i've calculated to be sell-able between the prices of $400-$500 but I would like some second, third and forth opinions. I know I could just post it for these prices but I want to get it sold pretty quick so I don't really want to waste time with reposting and changes prices. Parts and how long they were used for Antec 380W gold PSU (Spare PSU I found. Will run and let the system operate under medium load but I'm going to have to under volt the GPU otherwise it won't produce enough power on the peak usage) Gigabyte Z97MX - Gaming 5 (Used 3 years) 12gb ddr3 Hyperx Fury RAM 1600mhz (Used 3 years) Intel i5-4690 (4 cores, 3.8GHZ turbo) Used 3 years) Cooler Master Hyper 212 After market CPU cooler (Used 6 months) 7.2k RPM Seagate Baracude 500gb HDD (Boot Drive) Used 2 years Cooler Master Haf Case (excluding window) Asus Strix GTX 960 OC 2gb (used 2 years NO OVERCLOCKING) All the above parts were used for casual gaming within their respected usage For the amount they were used the lowest someone suggested was $400 and the highest was $500 others say between those 2 prices are perfect. Would be nice to know thanks

I'm wanting to part out my desktop and get a laptop since I'm moving into college and my desktop PC doesn't have a GPU installed in it anyways. I was hoping you could give me a figure for the individual parts on what I could sell them for or if I should just sell it all together. CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k Motherboard: EVGA Z97 Classified RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinums 32GB (4x8GB) 2133Mhz PSU: Seasonic 750W SS-750KM3 STORAGE: WD 1TB Se Enterprise Grade Drive & WD 500GB Green COOLER: Enermax Liqtech 240 CASE: Corsair 750D | OS: Windows 10 Pro Peripherals: Corsair M65 ~ Microsoft Sidewinder ~ Steelseries QCK BTW, don't pay attention to the signature build specs. They are a little old, what I copy and pasted in this thread is updated.

I currently have a 2015 Asus Zenbook UX501 (specs on that here: http://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/asus-zenbook-pro-ux501). However, with a new line of gtx 10 series, I've been thinking of getting a laptop with a 1060 or 1070. What do you guys recommend I should do to make the most value (money wise) out of my Asus laptop? I'm not familiar with selling online so I'm hoping you guys might give me honest thoughts and tips to help me recycle this laptop and buy a new one. This originally cost $1500. I still have the box with some of the packaging inside. As for the laptop's condition, I would give it a 8.5/10 (trying to give it a objective and unbiased rate). Internals are all perfect and properly working. Exterior has some scuff marks on the edges due to this lyft driver that dropped my laptop... Due to that, the left hinge of my screen seems slightly dislocated but all the wiring is safe and working. Other than those two things, the rest of the exterior is great. The laptop performs as expected; in the medium range. Any ideas as to what I should do? Is it still possible to retrieve back over $1000 for this?
