I'm looking for a low-key pc case with no glass panels or rgb for a build i'm planning. It'll need to be ATX for both the motherboard and psu and preferrably mid-tower. Thanks!

Hello I bought the NZXT H6 Flow RGB that includes 3 of their 120mm ARGB fans and i noticed that it required 5V 3 Pin ARGB headers but my motherboard does not have them. I then went to search up about it and found the deepcool SC790, it has PWM + ARGB headers My question is will the ARGB work with this PWM + ARGB hub if i dont have any ARGB headers on my motherboard because it does get powered by SATA but to control fan speeds i still need to connect it to the motherboard with the included cable according to the manual. The manual also says that i need to connect the included 3 pin cable to the ARGB header on my motherboard (which i dont have). If i dont connect the 3 pin cable will it still show RGB on the fans? and would i be able to control the rgb? Or would i have to buy a seperate controller? And if i do need to buy anything extra please provide links that i can look at MANUAL:

It came from coolermaster mb600l v2 PC case. I thought maybe it was for motherboard screw but it's too thick for that.

Hi all, i have a bunch of spare components left over from various builds including a small GPU, an ITX motherboard with intel stock cooler that does an adequate job and an ATX PSU. Im looking for a PC that i can move around a lot and can take a bit of a beating without me worrying im damaging expensive components. So my question is, whats the smallest cheapest case i can buy that supports, if possible, a horizontal GPU (so i dont have to buy a riser, im aiming for as cheap as possible), an ITX motherboard (cooler clearance doesnt matter) and an ATX semi-modular PSU. And a handle would be nice but not necessary in the slightest Cost is primary as this is just going to be a PC that beats about the place and i dont want to spend anything more on pc parts if possible

So I moved across the country and my old pc is back home, it's all well amd good but I let my dad take it for work, so I'm building a new one and the only questions I need answered are this, 1 does stickerbombing my pc case have any issues with heat or performance, but I will not cover any vent holes just flat case, or anything else long term. 2 can someone help me find a good case with at least a window to see my stuff I don't need a whole wall of glass, and just general space for like 200 stickers maybe more Long post sorry but thanks

Hi, few notes at first: I picked the parts based on availability and pricing of local sellers and affordability. I know PcPartPicker says the motherboard may require a bios update but that's not what I am asking for. My question is I want a human eye and knowledge to check the parts if something close is better, and the harmony of the parts, also will it fit inside the CMP 520 or not? All these PcPartPicker can't check for, so would you kindly help me decide to go for it or not. This is the list I managed to pick https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sXxCL9 Thx in advance for your assistance.

High all, I've got a buddy with this pc that I am trying to help identify an upgrade path for. I can't seem to find anything on this pc. The things I know are it is a prebuilt from ibuypower sometime in 2017 is was apparently classified as the "Gamer Paladin" package (including an i7-7700k, asus gtx 1070, asus prime z270-k). The biggest thing I am trying to figure out is the max card length for a GPU card. Anything I look up on google or archived sites doesn't show anything for this package or this case. I tried looking up Rosewill or Thermaltake cases with similar color schemes but nothing. Any help would be much appreciated!

Just finished building the most transparent pc I could build with just using basic tools. No cnc or laser. Some metal bars and some 2mm plexiglass. The goal was to see everything inside working and give it best airflow possible while keeping it water splash proof. I flipped the backside of the motherboard upwards so I don't have to be with limited front panel setup. Also it allowed me to have two different front so I can take fresh air for both cpu aio and gpu. And as a bonus I got rid of the gpu sagging issue. Before in a cooler master case 3090 gpu vram temp was reaching 105, now it's 90. Was on a tight budget, so had to use leftover plexiglass from another project, that's why so many joints. Also reused 2 fan from dead psu. Hope you guys like it. VID-20230618-WA0015.mp4

Hi, I'm looking for a decent PC case with excellent airflow for my MSI B450 Tomahawk motherboard which is ATX. Not looking to spend too much on one, under £80 is preferable. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks.

Hi, I have a budget case that I bought a while back for a build, the Aerocool Bolt. Surprisingly not, the airflow ain't that great, but at the time I didn't even consider any of that. I stuck two Noctua intake fans on the front of the case, and there's already one exhaust fan at the rear end. There's an acrylic side panel, should I drill holes into it for better airflow? Thanks! Here's a link to the case; https://aerocool.io/product/bolt/

I am currently using a MSI B550M PRO VDH wifi mobo in a GameMax kamikaze pro case, and the fans were advertised as compatible with mystic light from where I bought the case from. The case has a fan hub and you're provided with a cable that connects to it and it has the standard 3 pin with 1 missing argb connection. I connected this to the jrainbow1 header on my motherboard however it doesn't seem to work, the fans are not affected and they're not detected in any software including mystic light. Can I get some help as to why it isn't working?

I'm trying to get an older case, specifically from 2013, for my FX-8350 and GTX 780TI build that I have laying around. The case I'm looking for is an Antec GX700 black and military green varient. I looked on Ebay and couldn't find one, and Newegg probably hasn't had any listed since 2017. I'm just curious if anyone knows a website or something where I'd be likely to find older PC cases. More specifically, Antec cases. I posted the pictures of it from the Newegg site, and linked it. Newegg link: https://www.newegg.com/black-and-military-green-antec-gx-atx-mid-tower/p/1N8-001K-00002

Hi. I need help -- never built a PC before. I'm planning to buy a Lian Li Lancool 215 case for a new PC. It will house the Gigabyte B450M DS3H Motherboard I got from my friend's old PC. The case I'm eyeing for includes a fan hub where the included aRGB fans are connected. I looked at the case's manual, and from what I understood, one of the wires of the hub must be plugged in to the mobo's aRGB header, which (I think) would be a problem because the mobo only has an RGB header, not an aRGB one. I'm probably misunderstanding something. Please let me know what I should do.

Hello everyone. So basically, I need a GPU for my system since I'm a CG Artist. I know for my profession I should be getting a High-End Machine but this is all I could arrange. I got Dell Optiplex 3080 Tower for free. My budget was quite low but now that I have saved money by having this machine, I'm planning to upgrade it with RTX 3060 Ti and of course a new Power Supply. So... Problems that I might face: - Room not enough for new GPU and PSU (Attached images for reference) - Bottleneck? i5 10505 and RTX 3060 Ti. - Is motherboard good enough? (I'm assuming with this build comes Q470 i.e. PCIE Gen 3.0 and x24 PCI Express lanes What's the best solution that I should go? I'm mostly worried about the bottlenecking here. Cuz for the bigger room for GPU I can get a PC case and for the GPU's power demand, the PSU. It's the processor and the motherboard here that worries me the most. My current configuration specs: - i5 10th Gen 10505 (6C,12T) https://www.intel.in/content/www/in/en/products/sku/201891/intel-core-i510505-processor-12m-cache-up-to-4-60-ghz/specifications.html - Intel Q470 Motherboard https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/201836/intel-q470-chipset.html - 24 GB RAM DDR4 @ 2666MHz (16+8) - Standard 260W Bronze PSU (Of course I can't use this) Images credits: https://www.youtube.com/c/xianece1/featured

Hi there! I'm working on a build for a friend. He plans to take his pc regularly along his travels - - - 1000km every other month by car. I was thinking to add expansive foam bags so the pc doesn't suffer too much. He wants a big tower for convenient and minimal cleaning without fancy rgb stuff. I need advice on the choice of the case, are there any good cases with handles and advanced filtering systems that dont hinder airflow too much ? Lian-li has nice cases but they're too small. Other models that seem interresting are : - The VENGEANCE® C70 Mid-Tower Gaming Case - Mastercase 5 by Coolermaster (the handles look w e a k!) - ASUS TUF Gaming GT501 Mid-Tower Case (not a fan of the tempered glass...) - Cereberus X (expensive but fracking neat edit: from EU... case + shipping = 400€ thats too much..) Another point would be the cooling. I'm hesitant about watercooling in general, and in the context of frequent moving even more. Should I go for watercooling regardless or stick with good ol' noctua for the sake of peace of mind...? The core components will be: Ryzen 9 7950X Rtx 3090 32gb DDR5 5600 mhz corsair vengeance (the only affordable ddr5?!) Seasonic gx 850w Motherboard: X670 but idk what manufacturer..

So I finally found the pc case I've been looking for after a long time but surprise surprise, it's only compatible with mini atx's and micro atx motherboards which suck because my minds set on the parts I want along with the case motherboard wise and I was so set on the case because it's a really pretty case and for a great price too. Is there any way to convert a pc case to fit a motherboard of larger size?
-
So i wanted to find a retro look pc case. maybe a 90s style, but i want to easily throw in a modern motherboard. atk or mini atx anything works. I just don´t wanna mod the case any more than panting it an off white.
-
So basically I found out about this case through some old forum posts and websites, and it's absolutely perfect for my home NAS project and some other things I want to do. It really has everything I want and need down to the exact number of 5.25" bays. Alas it's from like 2007 and has been out of production for so long I can't find it anywhere. No official retailers or even ebay. There was apparently a revision a little later on that has better fan support and even USB 3 but if I can find any version I would be happy. If anyone has one they'd be willing to sell, or knows where I can get one in this day and age, that would be great. Any help is appreciated. I even reached out to Lian Li but they just told me it wasn't available anymore and to look at their newer cases.

I’m looking at the Corsair 5000D Airflow on Newegg (currently $159.99) for my PC Build and wondering if it’s a deal I should take right now or should wait longer on. I know Black Friday “deals” can be misleading and don’t know if there’s anywhere I could get this at a better price. I was thinking of getting the 4000D Airflow since it seems to be at a legitimately good price right now, but I wanted a bit more space and to be able to top mount my 360mm AIO, which the 5000D allows me. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi guys, I'm looking for a mid-tower case for ATX board that will fit my requirements, so far I've found those 2, what do you guys think of them, and could you suggest me other cases that could fit my needs? Also something to note, I currently have a build in a Fractal Design Define R5, so I kinda want to completly change model not just upgrade to the new version of the same case. The needs : I want a full front IO with at least 3 usb type-A and 1 usb type-c and Separated audio jack for mic and headphone. (I guess I could live with 2 usb type-a (usb 3.0), but i'll need to buy a usb hub) I'm building with an i9 12900k and planning on buying a cooler soon, the artic liquid freezer II 280mm, good choice? And this is paired with an RTX 3080 gigabyte gaming oc I want a side window (tempered glass ideally), good cable management possibility and obviously good airflow. The PC is for video editing and gaming. Thanks guys!

Hi, I'm starting to get a bit paranoid about my pc case. I'm gonna build my first pc this weekend, and I chose to get a pc case with a tempered glass pannel. But I saw a loooot of posts about the danger of tiled floor + tempered glass and of course my room has a tiled floor. It is dangerous when the two collide, but is it dangerous even if the pc case is just put on the floor ? Should I put something like a piece of wood under the pc case to prevent a glass pannel explosion due to vibrations, or can I just let it on the floor ? The question may seems dumb but I'm really getting nervous, so thank you by advance for the answers !

Hope everyone is well. Recently updated my kid's PC, and I'd like to throw his old hardware into a "smaller" form factor case. The MB is a m-atx with a i7 8700 non-k. I have began the search for m-atx cases that will house an atx PSU as well. Here images of 2 cases that are fairly cheap. Any opinions or experiences with a m-atx case would be great. Just talking shop before I purchase, out of curiosity.

Hey guys. First I have no idea what that inbuilt board is, on the inner side of my pc's front panel, but it has a broken sata port and I have no idea what it does or if I should worry about it. Also is there any way to change or fix that. My case has a memory card reader plus jack and usb port on the front if that helps. But they are way above this board. Everything seems to be working fine but I am gonna give this pc to a friend and I wanna make sure everything works. Thanks!
