So as you guys may know Origin is having a huge sale on great games and I was wondering what to buy. I'm new to Battlefield, but I really want to get into it. Should I get BF4 Premium for $20 and have all the DLC and quick ques and stuff or should I get the Standard BF4 for $10 and wait to get BF Hardline/Hardline Premium in the future? Give me your guys' opinions. I'm really looking for whichever game is going to last me longest before everyone switches over and all the servers go dead; so whichever game is going to have the most players online is going to be a better option unless you think I should wait to save for Premiums and stuff. BTW the sale link is here: https://www.origin.com/en-us/store/buy/battlefield-4/pc-download/base-game/premium-edition

Hey! I've just bought some games at the Steam Sale (Tomb Raider, Assassins Creed Black Flag, Rocket League, Worms Armageddon. Goat Simulator, Broforce) and also Star Wars Battlefront on Origin. Is there any download manager, where I can go like: when the current Steam downloads are finished --> start downloading Battlefront on Origin? I want to download over night! (250KBps ftw) Or at least start downloading. Thanks in advance!

Well yesterday I tried to run Origin and it said that it's missing these 2 .dll files. I tried reinstalling Origin and well... that didn't work. During the installation process I get the same popup window saying that I'm missing these 2 files. I looked on Google and saw that you can just replace them. I tried doing that as well but it says Access is denied every time even tho my user is an administrator on my PC. Any help would be great. And btw. yeah this happened after I installed Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. Origin was working fine before that.

The file is there. I checked on google but i didn't find the answer. Then i tried changing the name of the file and it worked. Origin was oppened but i couldn't do anything because a error poped over and over. A similar error but with the OriginCliendService.Exe File. I don't know what to do now. Thank you all for your help.

When I tried to log in to EA Origin, it said I have to download an update. It stopped halfway through and prompted me to log in. I did, but when I clicked the button to go online, it said 'You have been disconnected to apply a critical update.' This, I believe, is talking about the update that won't install. Any help?

Ok so BF4 is on sale on Origin and I was wondering if I should get it (it's 30 PLN = ~$8)? Or if I should wait for the next one to come out (Hardline doesn't seem too attractive for me as I prefer military shooters )

New historic low price on Titanfall Digital Deluxe (Origin key). This matches the Titanfall $5 deal from Black Friday last year. Although Digital Deluxe is semi moot now since Season Pass is free for all. $5 for Origin Key at GameStop (US address required to order) Bunch of other stuff on sale too, will compile once we rummage through the sale. Okay game for $5 IMO.

Whats the best online store to but games from steam, origin, uplay, gog, or buy CD's it's really confusing as thier is no website which have all games, so what do you think, buy EA games from origin and ubisoft from uplay and all other games from steam, or just buy CD's and save money with deals.

Some of you may not care for the NHL franchise, but for there are some of us who do. The last NHL game on PC was released in 2008. We want this series back on PC where it was quite popular. Even if you don't care, please sign this change.org petition directed to EA and spread the word if you can. It would be greatly appreciated Petition: https://www.change.org/p/ea-sports-electronic-arts-bring-the-nhl-series-back-to-pc

I was looking to purchase the Command & Conquer Ultimate Collection from EA's Origin website (since that appears the only place I can find the original games) however after reading some different reviews I've seen that some people have seemingly reported issues with playing the original C&C games, and also C&C 2, as well as Red Alert & Red Alert II on PCs running Windows 8.1 So, what I'm asking is, is this issue real, and widespread of the odd mishap on machines with user errors? And if it is widespread short of running the games on a Virtual Machine, is there some patch or other means I could use to get the games running on my PC?

A couple of days ago I tried to play one of my steam games that is installed on my storage hard drive (not my main boot drive ssd) and it told me I needed to install it. I checked and all of my games that are installed on my D drive are saying they need to be installed. I find this particularly odd seeing as how all of the install data is still there. I did notice an extra progam files folder in the D drive that is empty but whenever I delete it, it ends up coming back. Im assuming this is just something stupid that needs to be fixed. Has anyone experienced this and found a work-around? I really do not want to have to re install all of my games again.

I contacted EA support and was told to 1-Delete and install the origin again 2- "Flush" the system through cmd 3-Delete any VPN 4-Untick the proxy option in LAN Did all that and origin won`t go online and as they told me delete the origin and install again, I can`t even access the offline mode because of "you must be online for first time". Been using it for over 2 years and it only started like 2 weeks ago. I have already tried to change the HOST file as recommended by someone but still makes no difference. Steam works fine even uplay does! Its not like my account is banned as it works on browser and app says "origin online is unavailable" before I even put my email/password. Any help?

Hey guys! So with Battlefield Hardline open beta coming tomorrow I thought I'd make a thread for all of us to share our thought's, expectations and otherwise. EA jokes aside I'm not too sure what to expect. I mean they did delay the game and it's still not released yet. Based of footage I've seen on YouTube from JackFrags I think it looks exciting enough, but I'll have to wait and see for myself. Sadly I don't have a gaming rig yet so I'll be playing on my PS3 and using KB+M via my iogear keymander. At least I'll have Keyboard and Mouse control! If you want to play together PM me and we'll see! So yea feel free to share anything you guys think! I look forward to having a INTELLECTUAL discussion

Not a bad price. Dragon Age: Inquisition (Origin) — $39.99 (list $60) Dragon Age: Inquisition Digital Deluxe (Origin) — $46.66 (list $70) I personally like the game and if you enjoyed DA Origins you should enjoy this too. If you somehow really like DA2 then you'll like this even more. If you don't like BioWare RPGs this is best to skip. Works in all region I believe (the 33%, not the price).

Ok, So when I launch Battlefield 4 on my PC a box comes up saying " Please update origin to play" so I click on the URLs it says to download the update, I download it and then run the EXE application. When I click on the download it comes up saying " Do you want to reinstall origin " and a yes or no. I click yes because I want to update it but then when it finished I click on BF4 again and says the same from the start. So I run the EXE update and say NO instead of yes, then says nothing I click battlefield, AGAIN and says the update thingy. Please help

I wan't to buy a friend an origin game from GameStop and give him the key, but he is in Canada, will the key I buy in the US work in Canada? (Note: GameStop region locks their game purchasing, so I would need to buy it for him, it's on sale)

So I got battlefield 3 "on the house" from origin a while ago and when I opened up origin, it said I needed a product code to play it. I dont understand. EDIT- I feel stupid, but I have two accounts (I forgot my password one time) so I was just using the wrong account. I'm not a tech noon but I don't write down new passwords or accounts that often, so thanks to everyone that tried to help. I feel stupid now

Battlefield 4, Far Cry 4 and MSG: Ground Zeroes have been crashing a lot, here is a wall of text, maybe you can help. Tried these for all games: Uninstalled windows 8 and re-installed + plus updated to 8.1. Tried "Ultra" (preset) in Windowed, Borderless window and Fullscreen. Tried "Very High" (preset) in Windowed, Borderless window and Fullscreen. Tried "High" (preset) in Windowed, Borderless window and Fullscreen. Tried "Medium" (preset) in Windowed, Borderless window and Fullscreen. Tried "low" (preset) in Windowed, Borderless window and Fullscreen. Tried re-install of game, origin and chrome plugin. Tried re-install of game and uplay Tried re-install of game and steam. PC Specs (In sig if you prefer): CPU: Intel i7 3770 (No overclocking/Underclocking | Stock) GPU: Asus STRIX 970 (No overclocking/Underclocking | Stock) Soundcard: Asus Xonar DG MOBO: Asrock lga1155 z77 HDD: Western Digital WD blue 1TB (7200 rpm) RAM: PNY XLR8 16gb(8x2) 1600mhz More info about crash timing: Battlefield 4: At first I thought the game was crashing because of big explosions, tried all of the graphics settings and view settings, nothing helped. The game now crashes every 10-15 minutes. Have not tried single player. Far Cry 4: Far Cry 4 has been crashing in single player, at first I thought it was saving, but it crashes even without saving the entire game (No auto saving). Tried all the settings, nothing seemed to work. Game seems to crash every 30-40 minutes. MSG: Ground Zeroes: MSG has been less "Crashey" it has only happened twice since I re-installed, the first time when I was so close to the end carrying a hostage, the second while I was driving a vehicle. Tried all graphics settings, nothing has changed it from randomly crashing. What I was thinking: I was thinking this could be due to display drivers, or an issue with the gpu, could this cause any of those issues? If not then I have no clue, please help!

Hey guys, Battlefield 4 is 4.99 from gamestop and was going to grab it, but gamestop has awful software, can I use the key I get from gamestop on origin (If you even get a key)? Also, thought I would mention, the reason why I wouldn't just buy it on origin is because its 14.99, and I don't see why I would spend the extra 10 dollars. (Also, if this is in the wrong section of the forums, sorry, just thought this would be the right place.) EDIT: It seems that the Gamestop client still exists, it is just not mandatory...

Although i haven't been affected by this , i have read multiple threads even on LTT (Origin Users reporting unauthorized purchases on their account. So am I), i'm not sure EA is really saying the truth or just don't plan on refunding anyone A number of people across the web say they're seeing fraudulent charges on their EA Origin accounts—though a representative for the publisher says there's no evidence of a hack. As with all outages and security issues of this nature, it's tough to tell exactly how widespread this is, but yesterday we started getting reports that a lot of Origin users are getting charged for purchases that they didn't actually make. Since then, a thread about fraudulent purchases on Origin has bubbled to the top of Reddit's games section, and people have taken to EA's forums to complain as well. The most common occurrence seems to be a fraudaulent charge for the soccer game FIFA 15. In a statement to Kotaku, an EA rep said they don't believe this is the result of a hack: The good news is that Origin has two-step verification, so if you haven't already, be sure to set Source :http://kotaku.com/users-complain-of-false-charges-on-eas-origin-1676826659/ Edit : Even the comments on the source says they have been the victim of it too, can't verify the legitimacy
