NEW PC HELP Hello everyone, I have recently completed my new PC and it is working as expected when running. However, whenever I boot from a power off state, the peripherals are all off and the screen goes grey. The only way to fix this is restarting the PC once, or twice in some cases, and then it boots into windows just fine. I need some advice because all parts in this PC are brand new and I do not believe this could be a damaged hardware issue. I am open to any suggestion as to the source of this problem. I have thought it might be driver related but I have updated as many drivers as I can and this hasn't been fixed. I have also considered this to possibly being attributed to an inadequate power supply? Then again, I am not completely sure. Again, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time! PC PARTS LIST: CASE: Corsair 270R PSU: Corsair CX650 GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SSC (Running a mild overclock, however PC boot issue is still present at stock speeds) CPU: Ryzen 5 1600X RAM: Corsair Vengence 16GB Kit @ 2133mghz COOLER: Corsair H60 AIO MOBO: MSI B350 Gaming Plus FANS: (Only running two case fans at the moment as well as the pump and the fan for the AIO) STORAGE: 2 1TB HDDs 1 WD Caviar Blue and 1 Seagate Barracuda

Hello, I am brand new to PC switching from console. I am completely clueless on compatibility and pieces. I have a budget of $600-700 dollars and am located in the USA in California. This PC is going to be strictly for gaming, mainly FPS games such as overwatch, fortnite, pubg, csgo, etc. I would like to play at 1080p with a constant 60fps or higher. I do not care about aesthetics, although a glass window and matching colors would be nice. I would like to upgrade in the future. Going a little over budget is ok as well. thank you, yoyr help is very much appreciated. also I don't think I will be needing an OS.

Recently, I have gotten this crazy urge to build a new PC.It is primarily going to be for gaming, but I will be doing some video editing on it. My budget is about 850$ give or take 50$. The most important part should be the functionality, but the looks should definitely be nice as I will be keeping this build for a long long time. I really like the Thermaltake Core V21 case and I want my build to be centered around it. I already have the power supply and the storage so that is not an issue.

My friend and I just built his new rig and after booting he couldnt connect to the internet his pc is connected through Utp cable to a powerline. Might this be fixed by downloading new drivers or is there another solution? The mobo lights say there is data activity.

Hi all, So last September i bought a PC online from a company called PC Specialist. When the PC arrived the air cooler i had requested was clearly too big for the case and the guy building it definitely should have noticed, however, he sent me the PC anyway. So i then had to RMA it so that i could get a new cpu cooler fitted and also have the scratched side panel replaced. Now my GPU has broken and im having to wait for that, and after promising me it would take no longer than 1 week, i have now recieved an email saying its going to take another week. I'm starting to lose faith in my machine and wondered whether you guys thought this was a good enough reason to send the PC back and just build my own. I don't want to have to think to myself "what is going to break next". The customer service is great but they just aren't sticking to any of their deadlines, even from day one when the PC was first sent out to me. I understand that parts are likely to break but i shouldn't have had so many issues within the first month. Any help from you would be appreciated. The current build is in my signature. I use my PC for internet usage and then mostly playing games such as GTA5, PUBG, COD: WW2 and other fairly new game.If you would like to recommend any setups or parts that i could try then that would also be great... My budget is £1,500 (ish)

newpc Need help for building a gaming and streaming PC
S1cK posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
I need help with building a PC that I can play and stream CS:GO at a great FPS. I don't play on high settings at all (res 4:3 800x600, everything low expect shadow quality) and I would like to get at least 200+ FPS when streaming. Can anyone help me with building this? My budget will is around 500 GBP or around 600€. -
Hey Guys! My name is Jason, or if you've watched my Twitch or played with me in games you might know me as LookingForEXP. I'm looking into starting a Youtube/Twitch career in gaming and I wanted to up my setup a little bit to play the years newest titles at steady framerates, be able to record/stream without fatal drops in Frames or Performance, at a low cost of no more than $1,000. I have a few questions, but I'd like to review the items I've chosen and if I should or shouldn't keep or replace these and questions on the build itself. -Build Parts- CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GH/z Quad Core Processor (@Micro Center) - $289.99 +Tax Varies CPU Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H60 Cooler (@NewEgg) - $59.99 +Free Shipping/Handling Thermal Paste: Tuniq TX-4 Extreme Performance Paste (@NewEgg) - $9.99 + Free Shipping/Handling Motherboard: ASRock Z97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Board (@Micro Center) - $89.99 + $5.99 Shipping/Handling Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 (Super Biiz) - $59.99 GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB SuperSC ACX 2.0+ (NCIXUS) - $179.99 Case: Corsair 450D ATX Mid Tower Case (NCIXUS) - $110.99 PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Fully-Modular (OutletPC) - $76.89 Optical Drive: ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer (OutletPC) - $18.89 OS???: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM (64-Bit) (Amazon) - $86.68 Total W/O Taxes or shipping: $1013.38 Website URL: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6s48RB Now I do have some questions and some concerns and why I chose these parts specifically and if I should buy them. I currently have a Gaming Computer that I have bought from NewEgg that was Prebuilt with an AMD FX-8350 Processor and a AMD Radeon R7 250 Graphics Card. I also have a 1TB WD Blue HDD inside with a preinstalled Windows 10 OEM that comes with a Recovery Disk. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Now the one majorly important question is that I REALLY DO NOT want to purchase an entirely new OS for this system because I will be using the previous Hard-Drive from my old PC. I've been trying to figure out how to use this HDD into the build so I do not have to repurchase an HDD itself, the DATA on it however isn't important enough to me because its been backed up already on a cloud. This is the only part I will be salvaging from the old build and putting into this new one, and I would like to know if I could use the OS already installed in it without having to wipe it completely and buy a new OEM of Window's 10. Secondly, I will be using a Dual-Monitor Setup for this Rig, mainly due to having a Gaming Monitor, and also a Streaming/browsing monitor as a secondary. Would this setup be suitable for a dual monitor setup or would it not? Streaming Concerns - Will the load on the system from OBS and other programs as well as playing the game itself impact performance in a major way or no? I already have my Keyboard, Mouse, Headset, webcam, and need to get a Microphone and a stand for it too. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Building this computer really means the world to me as I am extremely confident in my ability to become successful in this line of work and any help or opinions will be greatly appreciated. If you need anymore information on the build or anything else, please feel free to contact my email @ gryphonhddinbox@hotmail.com or PM me on the Forums. Thank-You in advance!~ Jason.

My budget is around $350 ($260 USD) and am looking to purchase a CPU that alongside a R9 380, can provide sufficient gaming and work (Programing/Rendering) performance. Thanks for you time, Sincerely gaba23

Hi Guys, Recently been looking into upgrading my PC, and i'd like some ideas. I currently have: Motherboard: Asus P8H77-v CPU: i5-3470 (Stock cooler, thinking about investing in the NZXT Kraken; been meaning to do this for a very long time) RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance GPU: GTX 780 PSU: OCZ 650w zt Series 80Plus Bronze Case: Razer H440 Storage: SSD Samsung 850evo, 120gb - HDD Seagate 1.5tb I'm happy with my case, and my GPU. What would be the best upgrades possible with this for £500-£600? Thanks!

as mentioned in the topic the build Linus showed in his video was one he stated isn't meant for upgrades but rather to maximise fps per dollar. I was wondering if there are any builds you'd reccomend that are in the same ~$500 budget range that are good for upgrading over the next few years, it doesn't need to have insane power off the bat as long as it scales up over time
