  1. I'm doing my first FreeNAS server build for a new 20TB Array that im planning on setting up and want some advice on if my current plan for it will work and if the parts I am planning on using are compatible with freenas because I know it can be picky... And also just some general advice on how Im planning on doing things...Sorry for the length of this post <3The PC/Main Parts:Im planning on buying this: https://www.trademe.co.nz/computers...00.htm?rsqid=2b500849e2e84349b3f1c699fdea6512 Second hand, it has 6 SATA ports on it which is enough for all the drives I'm planning on using plus enough PCIE slots for network cards, an extra SATA card (https://www.trademe.co.nz/computers...40.htm?rsqid=2313b0555a7c41b099d226387c56a45f) for a boot drive and a TV Tuner Card (https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/TVNHGR1629/Hauppauge-tunersWinTV-quadHD-New-Model---WinTV-qua)The Drives/Array Plan:I currently have 3 4TB WD Blues one of which has a bad sector on it so I won't be using it.Their current use is for storing a variety stuff:- My Media Archive so TVShows/Movies/Photos&Videos etc- My GoogleDrive which is what I use for backing up anything super important.- A copy of old Server Archives for the community I run.- A Steam Cache for games that I'm not currently playing that aren't on my SSD's in my main rig.- Backups of old work I have done (Just more archives).I currently only have about 700GB free out of the 12TB total between the three drives so I'm planning on getting another 4 of them from here (https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/HDDWD1940/WD-4TB-Blue-Edition-35-SATA3-Internal-HDD-5400RPM)and putting them plus my current two that are fine (6 Drives) into a RaidZ setup. The idea being that it should give me some redundancy (With important stuff being stored on GoogleDrive) and from what I have read around it should let me Read off the disks at about 5-6x the speed of one of the drives and write at 1x the speed of one of the drives. Though I read somewhere that with RaidZ the write speeds are apparently increased as well? So if anyone could clarify that, it would be great, if the write speeds are only the speed of one drive I would likely just get a SSD for a write cache. This should give me roughly a 20TB array.Generally the only thing I would be using the Array for on a daily basis is watching my Media Collection, Downloading & Watching the daily Floatplane Videos from LTT, Downloading from steam (I plan to setup a steamcache on it so that I can cache all my downloads for quick installs to my SSD on my main rig) and probably some google drive backups too if possible...Networking:What I would really love is to be able to have 10Gigabit between the NAS and my Main Rig however they are probably going to be about 15-20m apart from each other and everywhere I looked the cost for two 10Gig cards plus that much cable was nearly 1k NZD... So, I decided that I might try a different approach.I have fiddled around with SMBMultichannel before and it has worked great allowing me to move files between my server and main rig at up to 3gb/s with 3 nics in each machine, and according to this post: https://forums.freenas.org/index.php?threads/smb-multichannel.54926/ FreeNAS now aparently supports it. With the SATA card and the TV Tuner card I would have about 4 PCIE&PCI slots left which would be enough for me to throw a bunch of https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/NETTPL3468/TP-Link-TG-3468-32-bit-Gigabit-PCIe-Network-Adapte these into it. Or I might be able to put a single 4Port card in it but it depends on if I can get one I currently have working (Which I'm fairly sure is dead) or if I can take one out of my PfSense Router and use multiple of the above adaptors in that instead. With either way It will give me another 4 ports on the NAS meaning I should be able to transfer at 5gb/s over the network using SMBMultichannel and just a bunch of Network Cables which I'm happy to have over paying stupid amounts for 10gig. (Though if you know of some cheap 10gig cards/cables that work in FreeNAS and would do a distance of around 15-20m please do tell me)Software:This ones kinda complicated... I want to run a bunch of things on the FreeNAS box alongside the main file storage:Plex (Mainly for organising media but also for TV LiveStreaming & Recording to the NAS with the Receiver Card I mentioned above) < Accessing the 20TB ArraySteamCache (Specifically This: https://github.com/steamcache/generic for caching the installs of games over the network. Mainly so I can keep the SSD's in my main rig clean and whenever I want to play a game I can just install off steam at whatever max speed I can pull from the NAS) < Accessing the 20TB ArrayPrometheus (https://prometheus.io/) & Graphana (https://grafana.com/) < Accessing a SSDNode.js (For several website's/API's and also for the script that downloads daily FloatPlane videos previously mentioned) < Accessing the 20TB Array & a SSDGoogleDriveNow I know that I can run VM's and Docker through FreeNAS but I don't know how well this would actually work with everything above in regards to file system access, network access ETC. Im hoping that I will just be able to setup perhaps a single linux VM for all of them and allocate that a nice portion of resources and access to the drives so that stuff like SteamCache can serve stuff to me via all the adapters. That's kinda it... I'd really like some input as to what I could be doing better or what may or may not work... Or ways that I could improve upon it, and sorry for the length of the post
  2. Hey everyone, I have recently finished building my first pc and I was hoping to get some feedback and recommendations for upgrading. Apart from the SSD I have built my pc completely from secondhand/used parts. Overall I have maybe spent $650 Nzd on everything. My pc contains: Intel i5-6400 2.7ghz (still using the stock cooler currently) Gigabyte GA-B150M-D3H 8gb (2x4gb) Hyperx Fury DDR4 2133mhz EVGA 660ti 2gb San Disk plus 120gb SSD (OS) 500gb seagate HDD (games) 2 Tb seagate HDD (other files, media, etc) EVGA supernova g3 750W PSU (is overkill but was crazy cheap)) 2X Coolermaster AB 120mm fans 1x Corsair 120mm fan Corsair carbide 88r mATX case I mainly use it for casual gaming and watching twitch/youtube, occasionally using Rstudio and excel when needed. I am currently using two 1440x900 resolution monitors and can play games at 60fps on one while watching twitch on the other but am considering investing in some cheap 1080 monitors and one of the things I was wondering was if it would even be worth upgrading to something like a 1050 or would it be better to save up a little more and get a 1060 etc.. Any other feedback/eventual upgrade ideas would be greatly appreciated A picture of my rig is included below.
  3. Hey, I am currently in the process of planning my first proper build and was looking for some advice/recommendations. In the past Ihave tinkered with systems I have bought second hand but i have have the cash to build one of my own. I do a lot of work in Photoshop and Lightroom as well as a large amount of gaming and a bit of 3d work. After spending numerous hours watching videos and reading forum posts I have come up with this list. I'm really hoping this build is going to last me a number of years! intel i7 8700k asus strix z370-e noctua dh-15 corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3000 asus strix Rog gtx1080 samsung 960 evo 250gb m.2 seagate barracuda 2tb bequiet! dark base 700 bequiet! straight power 11 850w Thank you to anyone that is able to help
  4. Hey, I've done a lot of research and I think I've finally come to a conclusion for my second build. I don't have a GPU in the build yet but I'll probably be getting a 1070ti or a 1080. I do gfx, stream, and a little bit of video editing. I was thinking about the i7-7700K but from what i've seen, the i5-8600K is incredible for the price. Also, apparently it's better for temps to put the radiator on the front.according to : But I also am trying to think how the air would best flow. I'm currently thinking about having 4 fans in my build (Not counting the aio), with the bottom fan for intake. I'm trying to see what I can do for the top two fans/the back one, airflow wise. Other than that, how's the build and what should I change in it and do for the fans. Thanks I'll also link a photo with a quick drawing of how it's set to be configured. Here is my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/kcout0/saved/h9XD8d Here is the fan compatibility for my case (Meshify C): Cooling System: Top: 2x 120/140mm Fan Vents (Fans not included) Front: 3x 120 or 2x 140mm Fan Vents (1x Dynamic X2GP12 Fan is included) Rear: 1x 120mm Fan (1x Dynamic X2GP12 Fan) Bottom: 1x 120mm Fan Vent (Fan not included) Dust filters: Bottom fan + PSU Front fans Top panel Radiator: Front: 120/240/360mm 140/280mm Top: 120/240mm (max component height on motherboard 40mm) Rear: 120mm (max width 125mm)
  5. Looking for people to recommend components for a build that costs between $2000 and $2500. I am upgrading from an older PC and am hoping to be able to use some of the original parts such as: the corsair AX860i power supply, 240GB Kingston SSD, and corsair h100i CPU cooler. I am uncertain if these parts are outdated and should be upgraded or they are fine as is. My intentions for the new computer are completely honorable such as gaming, minor video editing/streaming, and messing around in blender. For gaming I would like to be able to maintain 60+ frames on the highest settings for most modern games in 1440 or 4k (I haven't decided if upgrading to 4k is worth it. My current monitor is an ASUS PB278Q that has a resolution of 2560x1440). When it comes to looks over performance, I am more interested in performance. For instance not everything has to have LED's. As far as the case goes, I would prefer something that can house 140mm fans has good airflow and is moderately quiet. To sum it all up and be frank, I do not know if what I ask for is outlandish for this price so treat the price as rather fluid while still trying to keep to the original parameters. TL:DR $2000-$2500 Looking to build a new PC already have power supply, cpu cooler, and storage SSD. (*maybe read above) Want to game at 60+ max settings on most games, with a resolution of 1440 or higher Performance over looks Do not include price of peripherals Thanks for all the help. This will be the third computer I have built and am still very much a noob.
  6. I just took the leap from laptop to desktop, but never thought of that I might be bottlenecking in this build. It's something that's kind of unfamiliar to me. The specs of my new computer is: Corsair CX750M, 750W PSU Intel Core i5-7600 Kaby Lake Prosessor Stock CPU cooler. ASUS Prime B250M-Plus BULK, Socket-1151 Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400MHz 16GB (2x8GB) Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Corsair Forceseries LE200 240GB 2,5" Is there something I should upgrade? I'm already planning on a 2TB HDD for storage, but performance wise, what would be the best "next step".
  7. NOTE:- I'M FROM INDIA AND PC PARTS ARE VERY COSTLY HERE SO I BUY FROM NEWEGG OR FROM DIGITAL STORM PAYING HEFTY SHIPPING BUT STILL IT'S CHEAPER. I have money ready to build a PC or buy it from a computer boutique such as DIGITAL STORM AVENTUM 3. I have an idea of long term use to the PC and money is not a limiting factor. I want to game in 4k or in 3440x1440 resolution and I generally do some CPU intensive task like using Handbrake and store a lot of data. I currently use a medium specs hp phoenix and want to build a PC with these Specs:- I9-7900x Single Titan Xp or GTX 1080 Ti (Not SLI as I'm not satisfied with it's scaling) 1tb Samsung 960 pro 4 * 4tb western digital black edition hdd Corsair AX1500i PSU Corsair Dominator 16gb*8 3200mhz Ram Sticks Asus Prime X299 Deluxe An AIO (H115i or similar) or a custom liquid for CPU and if using Titan Xp founders edition graphics card it would be liquid cooled) Any Large Case (anything recommended) with few RGB strips Any good case fans Asus ROG PG348Q Ultrawide or Acer Predator XB321HK 32" 4K monitor Any RECOMMENDED gaming mouse and keyboard Have a Bose Speakers (unused) already at home. So mostly these are my specs and I may change with release of AMD Threadripper or other better components. So is the PC specs a good way to spend that whole $12000 or are some changes to be made. Please help me out in this because I have only done some minor tweaks to my computer and builds less than $1000 and most are not for myself. As I have minimal experience I also have a plan to buy from Digital Storm with their own Hydrolux cooling. 8. I just redid my computer and formated all the ssds. I have 3 samsung 850 evos for raid 0. Bios and device manager detected the three but disk management and samsung magician only recognize two. I can't initialize the third ssd. The ssds were formated using the samsung secure erase software so I doubted I wiped something important. I have tried swaping sata ports along with sata cables to no avail. I have an m.2 ssd as well but that shouldn't limit half of my sata ports (6 total) on my mobo. Here are my pc specs: Corsair HX1200i GTX 1080 i7-6700K Corsair Dominator ddr4 32gb Asus Sabertooth Z170 S
  9. I'm mid-build on my first computer build. I have a ton of cables and hardly a clue of what to plug into where. Please help me know what to plug in. I know I need to plug in my 24 pin connector to my mobo. I know I need to plug in a cable (what one) into the PSU and Graphics card. Here's my part list. MOBO Asus Maximus IV Formula GPU Asus 1080 Strix PSU Seasonic/ Platinum Power Supply Series 80+ Platinum 760W Case NZXT S340 Elite Cooler NZXT Kraken X62 I don't think I needed to include my cooler but I did, I DOUBT I need to include my RAM, processor, OP or my m.2 ssd but ask if I do. 11. Hey guys, Please help me I'm little bit confused between getting a Intel core i7 6700 or 6700k. I will be using the PC to edit videos, little bit of 3d rendering and motion graphics. Primary software's Premiere Pro CC, After Effect CC, Da vinci Resolve, C4D. If I go with 6700k which Z170 board should I go with for a stable overclock and new features. And How much of performance difference will be there in between 6700 and 6700K? In my budget I'm thinking of getting RX470 GPU or GTX960 GPU. Which one should I go with? If RX470 will it out perform GTX960? My Budget is 1,100,00 INR Buying in India. I want one 1080P monitor, keyboard and mouse in this budget Thanks guys. Looking forward to your responses.
  12. Hello to everyone, Actually I have never built a PC before and a friend of mine is going to built one but he doesn't know this stuff so he asked me to choose parts. Here is the list for our budget: Mobo: Asus B350 Prime Plus CPU: Ryzen 5 1500X CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T4 Ram: Crucial Ballistix Sport (2x8)16GB GPU: MSI GTX1060 Gaming X 6GB SSD: Corsair Force LE 240GB HDD: Toshiba P300 1TB PSU: Corsair Builder VS550 Case: Corsair Carbide Spec Alpha I already checked for compability but I wanted to be sure if everything will be fine. Is cpu cooler gonna be too tall or something like that. (If I had a spelling mistake, sorry, a non-native speaker)
  13. So here we go: ---------------------------------- Configs: mobo: MSI 970 gaming CPU: AMD FX- 8350 Cooler: cooler master hyper 212 evo RAM: 8GB (G. Skill freq 2133.) GPU: MSI R9 390 Storage: 1tb WD and 128gb ssd PS: CX 600M Monitor: AOC G2460PF OC: Windows 8.1 (pirated) ----------------------------------- I have done some research and thanks to Linus videos I build this PC myself with 0 experience. I build this computer mainly for gaming. ----------------------------------- PROBLEMS: Computer runs fine. but the games seem to be slow in FPS. 1)Some comands in games like "open map" make games freeze for a half a sec. When I redece the graphics from ultra to high (for example) the problem remains. FPS STAYS the same. It does not increase! ONLY if I go to medium but problem with frame freeze when map opens remains. My brother has the same CPU and GPU and his PC runs faster. like 20 fps differens while. And for some reason in Attila Total War settings my graphics/video memory is shown to be 3gb when it has to be 8gb. When I open "MSI Gaming App" and set video card to OC mode the computer seem to run even SLOWER. 2) when I play games and press Alt+TAB to switch between apps weird thing happen. [See the photos attached.] I used DP cable but when I changed to HDMI the problem appeared to be solved. but then I realized that 144Hz HDMI does not support. So I changed back to DP. When I press Alt+TAB couple of times switching between Desktop and game the screen goes back to normal. MY ATTEMTS TO SOLVE: I thought the problem is with drivers. I installed MSI LIVE. Updated everything. nothing changed. When I lunch Attila Total War It says that drivers are outdated. I installed third-party driver update app. Updated whatever was required. NOTHING CHANGED! I ran some benchmarks. CPU temp seems to be normal as well as GPS. RAM is also fine, tested with mdsched.exe And now I am out of ideas... Thinking about installing new Windows. Any ideas people?! Thanks in advance!
  14. Hi Guys/Ladies on LTT forum! After watching almost tons of LTT/NCIX Tech Tip videos on youtube, I finally appeal to the pros on the forum for my first ever PC Build! Myself: Never really had any experience with full PC building (I had experience with upgrade module like pull out a part and plug in a new part) I consider myself somewhat average on PC knowledge (I know what a ram does and what does PCI means.. I think ) 1. Budget & Location Location: Down under Straya~ (Australia) Budget: AUD$5000 incl peripherals (Do note Australia has ridiculous % of GST and almost every tech stuff is more expensive than the US of A & Canada) 2. Aim/Reason for Build Well folks, I am currently running a 5 years old Alienware M14x R2, Second Generation Intel i7-2670QM @ 2.2 Ghz, 8gb of Ram, Nvdia 3gb GT 555M (yes that right GT.. omg Leslie does those things still exists?! ), so I am missing out on lots of big title like The Division, Witcher 3, GTA V, Rainbow Siege (etc etc). So in simple, I am wanting to build a PC for gaming (proper 60fps smoothness) and hopefully to be a VR ready rig. PS: Will be attempting to learn how to Overclock this rig too! 3. Monitors Currently just wanting 1 monitor but might consider dual to triple display in the future. I am planning to use this monitor: Acer XB280HK 28in 4K G-Sync Widescreen Gaming Monitor Hopefully will be gaming on at least 1440p, the reason I go for this monitor is because of its value, G-Sync and 4K resolution. 4. Peripherals/Parts Well this is going to be a RazerTM theme build so the peripherals will be as below: PC Itself*: Case: NZXT H440 Razer Edition Mid Tower Case Motherboard: MSI Z170A Krait Gaming 3X Motherboard CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K CPU Cooler: Cryorig A40 Ultimate Hybrid Liquid Cooler GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6GB Boot Drive: Intel 750 Series PCI-Express 400GB SSD Mass Storage Drive: Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001 Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2A2400C14 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 Black (Dual Channel 2400mhz) PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 Gold 850W Power Supply Network: ASUS PCE-AC68 Dual Band Wireless AC1900 PCI-E Adapter Cable Management: CableMod E-Series G2 & P2 Cable Kit Black/Green Windows: Microsoft Windows 10 Home 32bit/64bit USB Flash Drive Estimated Cost: AUD$3000 Peripherals**: Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Chroma RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Mouse: Razer Diamondback Chroma RGB Laser Gaming Mouse Mouse Pad: Razer Firefly Chroma RGB Hard Gaming Mouse Mat Headphone: Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma RGB USB Gaming Headset Speaker: Razer Leviathan 5.1 Channel Surround Sound Bar Monitor: Acer XB280HK 28in 4K G-Sync Widescreen Gaming Monitor * I will need an expert/pro to check if all these part will fit with each other/ or if there is any room for improvement/ better parts you recommend. ** I know is a full on Razer theme (and I know some people probably think I am better of with Cosair Keyboard/parts etc etc, but I am trying to stick to a theme on the peripherals, the PC itself is pretty much what I think is within budget. Summary: In simple I just want an second opinion before I go ahead and click the order button and if any kind person would walk me thru if they recommend a first timer building this PC. Constructive feedback appreciated! Will keep you guys posted! Leslie

  16. I'm about to build my first PC and I've been dying to buy it. Ive helped my father buiId one quite some time ago, but he is experienced in building a computer. I currently have a rig that was top of the line about 7 years ago... I've done plenty of research on the components I'm wanting. I'm wanting to build a decent gaming PC with one monitor and wanting to spend <1400 USD. I'm fairly confident on all the components but the only thing I'm not truly sure about is the processor. Should I spend an extra 50 bucks for a better i7? I was thinking of an i5, but I want this rig to last and be prepared for almost anything I throw at it. I already have a monitor and mouse and keyboard, so all I need is the computer. Is this a decent build? Does it look to be in check? Thanks in advance! 18. So basically i'm kinda new to building a PC and wanted a decent pc used mainly GFX, Video editing and also gaming every so often. Basically i was going for a silent build with the Define R5 Case and going with the Kraken x61 I was just wondering if there was any improvements or suggestions to fix this build to make it worth while and a long term investment. Thanks http://pcpartpicker.com/p/FMh4jX
  19. Hello, I m planning on upgrading my workstation/gaming pc , having a hard time deciding between x79 and x99. I am a content creator (video and publishing) and also a gamer. my current pc specs are: asus maximus vi hero 4770k gtx 780ti 16 gb ram 1600mhz (corsair) ssd+hdd+ 860ax psu Also, tell me if its a good idea to spend too much on sli (970s or 980s) (2 way) and also keep a quadro for render? I'm just considering that as an option, i don't print money. Thankyou all good people of ltt forums.
  20. Okay so I started on a new build and I was wandering if all the components are funtional together. I don't have much money to blow but I'm willing to change a few things out. Note that I'm buying everything from amazon. Case: Zalman Z11 Midi Tower Case. I found this case really appealing and the fact that it came with 5 fans really swayed me over other cases. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zalman-Z11-Supports-Installation-Filters/dp/B007BZS0GI/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1416004632&sr=1-2&keywords=zalman+z11 Motherboard: A Asus M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard seemed like a good choice If I wanted to run duel sli in the future. http://www.amazon.co.uk/M5A97-R2-0-Motherboard-PCI-Express-Flashback/dp/B008V9959O/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1416004107&sr=1-2&keywords=asus+m5a97+r2.0+atx+am3%2B+motherboard CPU: The AMD FX6300 Black Edition 6 Core seems to me the best cpu at this price range. http://www.amazon.co.uk/AMD-FX6300-Edition-4-1GHz-Socket/dp/B009O7YORK/ref=pd_cp_computers_0 GPU: EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 Superclocked ACX 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card Orginally I was planning on getting the Gigabyte version of the GTX 760 with the windforce heatsink but I'm not too sure on wether that will fit into the case. http://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-Nvidia-GeForce-Superclocked-Graphics/dp/B00DMB6D8W/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1416004342&sr=1-2&keywords=gtx+760 RAM: I chose HyperX FURY Series 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 1866MHz becuase it was cheeper that G-Skill and Corsairs varients. http://www.amazon.co.uk/HyperX-Series-1866MHz-Memory-Module/dp/B00J8E91T0/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1416004519&sr=1-2&keywords=hyper+x+ram PSU: For the power supply I was not too sure on what wattage I should be going for. 21. Ho hum chaps, So, my new build is in progress and it's long overdue to say the least. Technology has come far over the last 5 years since my last PC construction. Like many I have spent a lot of time researching the parts to make up my new dream machine. Here's what I have so far: Intel i7 4790 gigabyte Z97 UD5H-BK Intel 730 250GB SSD WD-1TB BLACK BeQuiet Dark Power Pro 750w BeQuiet Dark Rock 3 Hyper X Fury White 16gb 1833 Fractal R4-WH-W Which leaves all but the GPU to complete it..... Now, this isn't really aimed at a gaming rig. My full time job is a webmaster, as well as various coding IDE's I use Photoshop, Illustrator and Lightroom from the Adobe 2014 CC suite quite a lot. I'm also getting into Premiere and After effects more & more... hence my need for a new rig. My old Phenom ii Q4 955BE, as good as it has been, and I really can say it has been a brilliant workhorse of a processor is now over 5 years old and doesn't quite crunch the numbers as I would like ...It's also paired up with a Radeon HD5770... which again, doesn't quite fit the bill for what I am aiming to to. Having said that... Star Craft is pretty smooth  , though not maxed out. So over the last week or so I have been looking at the GTX 780, 780ti and the Titan Black... All of which have different price tags, cuda cores and DDR5 memory, the latter being 6GB against 3GB... I want this system to last me a few years.... but certainly don't want to waste money unnecessarily... who does right ?!?? So what do we think chaps ? 780..? 780ti or the Titan Black to work with the above spec? Also... if I did get the TITAN, would that bottle neck the CPU ? Any thoughts are VERY welcome. Many Thanks Thomas_the_3rd )))

  25. Hi guys, It is my first time on the forum so I need your help more than ever. I'm a student but I do gaming (I mainly do League of Legends, CS:go and overwatch, but also enjoy playing games like Witcher 3, Dragon Age). I'm sure you guys can help me build the perfect budget PC which can run the low end games on max settings and the high end on Low/Med with 40+~ FPS. Thinking of not going with SSD for the moment but can do if I have the extra money. My budget is 400~ pounds (I live in the UK) Here are some parts which I found cheap and I think can be useful ( would like to hear your feedback on them and ofc other suggestions) CPU Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz - for £92.91 Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz - for £62.37 HardDrive Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive - for £42.95 Memory G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 - for £38.81 That is for now I will update the list I haven't put any GPU because I don't know which one is the best atm. Also the CPU I got have really nice reviews saying they are really good for OC and can perform as good as lower end i5. Would like to hear your advices guys! Thanks in advance! ( Feel free to ask me any questions I will be watching the topic a lot) ~ Tenchev
