Hello, I have just installed my brand new Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 monitor and almost immediately I started to notice a sound best described as a static or electric sound like when you touch a metal object and it shocks you. The sound comes around about every 10-20 seconds. I narrowed it down to be coming from the monitor as the sound stops when I turn the monitor off specifically it comes from the right side of the the monitor from the back. I searched online and found a temporary solution where I disconnect the monitor from power and press the power button for 10 seconds which is supposed to close the circuit and drain the static. This worked but only temporarily as soon the noise was soon back. I wanted to seek help to see if anyone has had this problem and hopefully managed to find a permanent solution for it. I just got this monitor and I'm now reluctant to power it on fearing that I might damage it. Your help and tips are appreciated. Information that maybe relevant: The monitor is mounted on a metal "pole" attached to my my wooden desk I have two monitors mounted vertically atop of one anther on the same metal "pole" I have a desk light halo bar mounted on the monitor. I removed it and the sound persisted The power source is on the same desk and the PC is standing on the desk There is a soundbar, phone charger, laptop sitting on the same desk

Recently installed a new crucial p3 m.2 as a storage drive and began having issues where my screens go black and GPU fans go to max. Pc stays like this until i hard power it and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Prior to uninstalling the drive i checked to remove any files i may have moved to it and forgot about, the drive however did not show in the available disks in file browser. Ive now uninstalled the m.2 and the pc is working. Im unsure if maybe i picked an incompatible m.2 for my build as i already have 1 m.2 and its been working fine but the working m.2 isnt marked as a "flash NAND". Im still fairly unfamiliar with all the m.2 specs since ive been on 2.5 and 3.5 for a long time. PC build is as follows : ASUS ROG STRIX z790-e Motherboard Asus TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Intel Core i7-13700k 1700 CPU TeamGroup T-FORCE DELTA RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-6000 PC5-48000 CL30 Dual Channel PSU is a somthing somethign corsair 1K watt The m.2 in question is : Crucial P3 Plus 4TB 3D NAND Flash PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe M.2

So, my apologies for creating yet another, 'which phone should I buy?' thread. I do however have reason to ask this question anew. I asked this question in November of 2021 and the verdict was for me to purchase the, 'ASUS Zenfone Flip 8.' The phone was very good, I was pleased with it until I cracked the screen in November of 2022. I contacted every phone repair shop in town and they point-blank do not work on the ASUS Zenfone because they cannot buy the screens. I found one shop out of town who would fix the phone for 300GBP, though they could not guarantee success or lead-time as the only screen they could find was from Ali-Express. I would attempt the repair myself, but it is 200GBP for the screen from Ali-Express and I have a significant tremour... Would you please see the following requirements and let me know if anything springs to mind? I was very happy with the features of the ASUS apart from the lack of repairability just 1 year from purchase. - Replacement parts, specifically screens, must be readily available at a reasonable price for a reasonable length of time. (I do not trust that Fairphone will be around to provide replacement parts in a few years.) - Price must not exceed 500GBP, cheaper is obviously better . If you know of anything pretty good that is much cheaper, please let me know. - Water-proof/resistant would be nice. - Cameras that are not shite, (at least iPhone 7/8 level). - I do not care about it being paper thin, I prefer it to be robust. - Dual-sim is preferable. I am well-versed in the various different hardware factors, but often it is experience with a device that is the best indicator of suitability. I am a bit out of touch with current brands, hence why I believed buying an ASUS phone was a good idea. Thank-you for any/all help you provide! T.E.H.B

This post is to discuss my concerns with my new CPU being shipped from CHINA and for you all to provide me insight on the new build that I purchased. All my parts were ordered through Amazon for convenience's sake. However, as the title says, the CPU came from some no-name 3rd party China seller and is being shipped via China Post. It is brand new and was purchased at a great deal of $325, but my concerns are that either it is going to be a fake CPU or that it will come damaged. I am also nervous about any warranties associated. I am going to inspect the factory seals as well as run check the BIOS and run CPU-Z to validate the CPU reports back as a real Ryzen 9 7900x. Should I reject the CPU if the seals are broken or the box appears to be beaten up in any way? Is there anything else I can do to validate it or calm my nerves about it? Secondly, please provide me some insight into my newest build and what I can expect to make this generational jump. I know that the GPU is being carried over, but can I still expect to see good performance gains? SEE BUILD BELOW Budget (including currency): $1100 Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: APEX Legends, Halo Infinite, Diablo 4, Albion Online, Kerbal Space Program 2 (144hz Gamer). Budget (including currency): Not a problem for what I'm planning Country: MX Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming My major concern is if I need a new 750w PSU or my 4 years old 650w PSU gold+ is enough. I'll overclock the CPU to the most I could (4.4 - 4.6hz) new build to get: AMD ryzen 7 5700x, thinking to OC 4.4 - 4.6hz -MSI b550 tomahawk OR -MSI x570s tomahawk RTX 3070, any OC edition out there like Asus or MSI with a good discount. I'll use it straight out of the box, not planning to OC more. RAM 16gb 2x8 3600mhz ddr4 16cl (not really worried that much about the brand), gettin new ones. PSU, this is my doubt I'll recycle my cpu fan cooler master hyper 212black reusing nvme, ssd, hdd. Old build: AMD ryzen 5 3600x MSI b450 tomahawk RTX 2060 KO EVGA 650w Gold+ supernova g5 Gskill ripjaws 3600mhz 2x8gb (16gb) CPU fan cooler master hyper 212 black 1 m2 nvme 500gb, 1 ssd sata 1tb, 1 hdd 1tb I'll giveaway my old build, In case that 650w PSU is enough I'll buy a new 500-550w for the old build. Otherwise if isn't enough I'll get a new 750w gold+.

I could explain in vivid detail exactly why and how I'm in this situation, but to sum it up I want to know if I can use 8gbr (temporarily) with newer computer components like an i5-11400F and a 2070 Super or should I go get the ram first and then do the rest?

Hey all! Please do not judge but this is my first post and would love some help with a issue I'm currently having. I just built my first computer late February. It's an I9 9900k cooled by a Be Quiet! 280mm rad with NZZT pos pressure fans on a Z390m MSI mobo. So far it has been great. I occasionally run a 5.0 all core and its perfect, NO PROBLEMS what so ever. This machine usually runs around 29-33c (OC'd, lower at factory bios) at idle and in the 60s while playing CSGO (yes I know but its the only game I can still enjoy playing occasionally LOL). I had just moved homes today and had set up my computer and was worried when I saw my CPU idling around 55-65c. Was strange but thought that the thermal paste could have shaken loose? or something so I repasted the CPU and went through multiple layout changes only to find that my CPU will not drop below 45c. Now yes, you may be thinking, Hmm its definitely the change in ambient air temperature right? I wish. The room it is setup in is easily 10c cooler than the previous room it lived in. With the window open in here (Outside is 12c degrees, about 15-20c in room) it is still idling around 50c literally as I am writing this. I am very confused and mad. Anyone could think of why this is and how I could fix it? the AIO is brand new so I doubt the pump is already going out. Also the GPU (MSI 1660Ti) is idling at 32c this whole time. ambient temp is fine, room temp is fine, air flow is fine, case temp is fine, brand new pump, perfect 9900k that has not given me a single issue in the 2 months I have had it. Any help is much appreciated thank you very much!

I have most of the parts I need for my first PC build: CPU, GPU, CPU Cooler, case, thermal paste, RAM, SSD, HDD, case fans, and motherboard. The only thing I need is the PSU and according to Amazon, there's no delivery date yet, but they will e-mail me when the psu wll be delivered. So I have a question. Can I partially build the PC with the parts I mentioned or it would be best to wait until my PSU arrives?

Ive been working on this new build for a while now and have started to order some of the components, but after doing an insane amount of googling and research I am still undecided on what GPU to go with. The PC will be used for Gaming, fusion 360, adobe illustrator, and be my main PC for all home tasks. I don't have any specific games in mind yet, but want to get into gaming and be future proofed for a while atleast. For the GPU I would really like to not spend more than $300 on it. Ive been looking at the 6600, 6650, 6700, and 3050. What do y'all recommend? Thanks in advance! Here are a few specific ones i was looking at: 6600 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09HHLX543/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1 6650 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09ZLRDMXX/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=AVXAH5375YZB8&psc=1 6700 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BCL3L6ZG/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 (This one would be a tight fit for my case like withing 2mm) I have attached a picture of my build (minus a GPU)

Hello everybody, I just bought an old Dell Optiplex 790 from my schools office. (Before going into any details i just want to say that this is literally the first time in my life im doing anything pc related.) It has an Intel Core i3, 4GB of RAM and Windows 7, it came with a 500GB HDD. Im on an incredibly tight budget by which I mean the whole pc cost me 45€. I do already have some contacts about the GPU and maybe RAM. I want to use this pc mainly for stuff like sfm or blender, while still being able to play games like tf2 and War Thunder. Can any wise minds help me? CPU: IntelCore i3-2100 3.10GHz

So i did a system restore to fix an issue i had with my pc’s microphone and after i did i came to the scan repair loop with the blue screen. I have tried the following: - scan repair - cmd panel with youtube suggestions - tried to reset my computer to factory settings but it wouldnt let me - I tried to do a system restore but it says that none of my past restorations have windows 10 I was wondering if maybe reinstalling windows 10 from a usb would do anything but i need specific help on how to set that up because i do not want to make this matter any worse. If i were to boot windows through a usb with the windows media tool would i have to do anything prior in doing so like in the command panel? Please help i need my pc for school work i have.

Budget (including currency): Approximately 6.5 thousand Turkish Liras - 900$ (Gpu not included) Country: Turkey Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: DAW(Digital Audio Workspaces such as 'Pro Tools, Ableton, Cubase), Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop), Gaming (AOE2:DE CS:GO, COD:Warzone, Escape From Tarkov (may vary) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello, after ten years of dorm life finally I decided to build my pc and leave my laptop(using Macbook Pro 15' mid 2015, can't play games) behind. I work as a Sound Engineer so mostly i'll be using DAWs and planning to play games on my new PC. Most of the parts are certain but still having some problems about it. Since I live in Turkey, currency rate is very high and part prices are a bit more expensive than USA. So current state of the build is around 850$ as the specs given below. Planning a mid-range build which is up to age(semi future proof). I am planning to use my old SSD and Monitor which means my only need is in-case parts(my plan is to wait for GPU and buy a 3060TI). I am super confused about CPU cooler since most AIO's are above my budget, my case supports 240mm AIO, I need help about CPU cooling and recommendations about build since I'll start buying parts from now on(starting from today, looking for good deals in the moment). -Ryzen 5 5600x will be Tray so no stock cooler is included. -Zalman S4 Plus is way cheaper than NZXTs in my country and It's not bulky for me(It's a bit tight case in terms of GPU choice and CPU cooling. *315mm GPU Space - 160mm CPU cooler height -PSU is actually 650w but in pcpartpicker i could only find 550w version of it. -I have no interests about parts being RGB(it can be but personally i don't like RGB) Waiting for your help and recommendations about this build, especially in CPU cooling(can be budget AIO or effective fan cooler, part prices can be different so i'll reply and inform you about it if you have recommendations. Thanks.

Here is the issue. I'm playing an FPS game, I see an enemy so I react and a part of the process is me pressing mouse 2 ( ADS ) & next in succesion pressing mouse 1 ( FIRE ). What would happen next is strange, I'll keep shooting but for some reason my mouse 2 will give. This makes it impossible to play because all accuracy is lost. The following is repetitive. - Different MICE have the same issue on the same computer. ( I've been through five mice from amazon within the past two weeks ) - Different USB ports have outcome, nothing changes. ( Including Case Ports ) - Same computer ( What are the chances all the USB ports are fried ) Slight things I've noticed is that the issue doesn't happen when I delay the time between when I ADS & FIRE This issue makes it really hard to be comepetitve if anyone else had anything close. Please tell me your experience & how you got around it / fixed it. Thanks!

I recently got a new PC, everytime we tried booting it up with the USB stick we had Windows 10 installed on it would stay on a black screen with the Blue windows logo and no loading symbol of any kind. We've tried a lot of things already like using another USB/External Hard drive, turning it on and off, etc. We've been trying to get it past that screen for hours now and don't know what to do. If anyone can help, it'll be appreciated.

Budget (including currency): <1684.29 GBP Country: United Kingdom Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: These are a list of games, programs or workloads I have or want to use this pc for I also want to run some VR games too. Streaming, Streamlabs OBS, Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA V, Cities: Skylines, ARK: Survival Evolved, ARK: Survival Of The Fittest, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 (VR and Normal play), Roblox (VR and Normal play), Visual Studio Code, Unity, Kerbal Space Program (With mods some graphics mods), Kerbal Space Program 2 (When is comes out), Minecraft (With mods and probably shaders), Blender, GIMP or Photoshop, Beat Saber, VRChat and some other vr games. I'd like to run these with mods and/or the highest graphics and quality settings with good fps. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): The existing list of parts I'm going to buy will be here they will probably be purchased around November/December time and maybe some certain stuff before no peripherals are needed currently. I'm currently using a laptop with these current specs: AMD Ryzen 5, 8GB Single-Channel Unknown @ 299MHz (17-17-17-39) Ram (7GB usable), ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. FX505DT (FP5), 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (ASUStek Computer Inc) and a 238GB KINGSTON RBUSNS8154P3256GJ3 (SATA-2 (SSD)). I want to play at 60 fps and 1440p on most games I would like to play some games at 4k 30fps or more. I'd like to go as cheap as I can go while keeping it looking nice and being able to run new games that may require more power to run. I'd use this pc for as long as I can use it as I can't really afford to pay for a new pc every few years. I am a developer so I would like to be able to make games and other things using tools like Unity, NodeJS and Visual Studio Code. I want to use at least 2 monitors with a 3rd maybe, I want to upgrade to play some new games with better performance and I'd like to have a real pc instead of a laptop which I currently have at the moment. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

So I have started taking Python 3 courses and it's my first programming language. I am trying to make a funny magic 8-ball program, but something isn't adding up and I keep getting an "invalid keyword argument" error while executing. I am certain it's probably something silly and simple, but it's still evading me. Also, this is my first day learning. I appreciate any help and tips!
