Hi there guys, So this problem has been with me for a while now and I am not sure how to fix it. My mouse is the Steel Series Rival 110, it works perfectly find and is connected via USB to the back of my PC directly to the motherboard. The mouse is able to function perfectly without the Steel Series software, however you need the software to use the side buttons. For some reason, my mouse will sometimes look like it's disconnected, not actually disconnect physically or get a notification from Windows that a device has been disconnected, but simply that the software reports that the mouse has been disconnected. Meaning that I am no longer able to use the profiles for the mouse anymore or use the buttons, however the DPI still works somehow (I think). So far, to get it to work in the software again, I have to reconnect the mouse physically. I've tried some things online about making it so that the USB ports are not put to sleep and I've done exactly done, however no cigar. Thanks for any help in advance, Eli

Hi, For the last year and a half, my workplace has changed into working from home permanently. I’m upgrading my home office and one of the things I’m looking to upgrade is a wireless mouse, but I’m finding it a bit difficult to find the right one. My requirements for a new mouse is the following: - must be wireless - able to connect to at least two computers (home PC for gaming + work laptop) and be able to change source quickly, preferably with a button. - low latency (for gaming) - rechargeable. Bonus for USB C cable charging. Any suggestion would be grateful.

About maybe a year ago I had an issue were games would freeze when I move my mouse too fast. This issue kind of popped up out of nowhere because I didn't experience before then. After some trouble shooting I found that it was the mouse polling rate so I turned it down from 1000 to 500 and it fixed it. In the last week the issue has return even though I'm using 500hz and the next lowest option in razer synapse is 125hz which fixes it but has a noticeable impact on accuracy and usability. What do I do? My computer isn't weak so I feel like it could be some program that's messing with it. Help me, please. I've attached a video that shows the issue in action. When I click and drag to highlight then let go and spin my mouse around the box just stays there. 1587163738_2021-09-2620-39-47.mkv

Hi Guys, Is there a way I could make any usb device wireless. Let me give you an example: I have a joystick (HOTAS) for microsoft flight sim (MFS). It connects via usb to my computer I would like to play MFS on my tv. I already have an hdmi cable long enough to plug my computer to my tv. However the usb cable for my HOTAS is not long enough. I am wondering if there is a device which would have a wireless usb receiver plugged into my computer and another one which I could plug into my HOTAS in order to make it wireless ? Thanks you guys in advance ! TL;DR : Device to make a usb device wireless. One receiver into the computer another one on the usb peripheral

Hi guys, I have been looking for a new mouse for a while as my old M65 buttons are starting to wear out and is becoming quite annoying. I have a Logitech G703 that I use for work and I really like having wireless as it turns out. Yesterday I got an email that Corsair released a new version of the M65 which is also wireless and appears to be a direct competitor to the Logitech G502 Wireless. Let me know what you think! I will list the main specs for each mouse below, as well as some of my comments on them: Logitech G502 Wireless: 25K Sensor (100 - 25,600dpi) Polling Rate: 1000Hz Weight: 114g Max Acceleration: > 40G Max Speed: > 400 IPS 3 Thumb Buttons, 2 Buttons next to left click, 1 Center Buttons, Scroll Wheel center click and tilt. Increase in side buttons is a big plus I feel like. I always wish I had a few more on my M65. Battery: 48 Hrs with lighting, 60 without lighting. Comes with wireless charging pad This seems like a big plus to me. All you have to do is put the mouse on the pad when you are done and you'll never have to worry about battery life. Corsair M65 Wireless: 26K Sensor (Range not listed) Adjustable in 1dpi steps Polling Rage: 2000Hz This seems like a significant improvement - does it really matter? Click report: 0.9s on wireless. Weight: 110g Max Acceleration: ≤ 50G Max Speed: 650 IPS 3 Thumb Buttons, 2 center buttons (used to control DPI settings), Scroll Wheel center click. Tilt Gestures: Programmable tilt gestures This seems like a really interesting new development, instead of a button, program something like reload to a flick 'o the wrist. Battery: 90 Hrs with high response rate, 120Hrs on bluetooth. Has to be plugged in to charge Why does this make me not want it anymore?

I recently just switched to 1440p from 1080p. I was wondering if my mouse sensitivity and aiming will be affected. If it does, is there a way to find out how to raise my mouse sensitivity to match how it was for 1080p to now 1440p?

Specs: i7-12700K MSI Z690-a Pro DDR4 AMD RX 6700 XT 2x16GB DDR4 3200 850w PSU So this is a very new build, a little over a week old at this point. Everything seems to run fine from startup, but if the computer sleeps and I wake it my background and cursor flicker and the cursor resets to the center of the screen as seen below in this video. https://imgur.com/a/pTECIaT What is weird is that the desktop icons and taskbar don't flicker and so I'm not thinking its GPU related. I have been trying to find anyone that has had this issue and how they resolved it for the last few days.

So very simply I really liked the ergonomics of my old Deathadder chroma (2016 I think) which broke a few years ago, I have had the Deathadder elite and razer viper ultimate as well and I'm just curious before I possibly buy one off eBay if anyone knows of a mouse that is similar size and shape to the Deathadder chroma that might be newer or just better

I just installed Manjaro KDE on my laptop. The install worked fine and I had no issues. For some reason my mouse isn't working, the mouse tracks but it will not left click, sometimes the right click works, and the scrollwheel works 90% of the time. My mouse's LEDs light up and I can change the DPI. What I've found is it works full for about 5 seconds when I first turn it on, and if I logout it works for 5 seconds and then stops. I've tried xf86-input-synaptics twice. First time I did it, my keyboard stopped working and the mouse stopped tracking. I then reinstalled the OS and tired again and nothing changed.

I have this problem where my mouse won't go into sleepmode if i turn my computer off or to sleep. My mouse does however go to sleep after 5 minutes of inactivity when my pc is is on. This is frustrating and i haven't found any solutions yet. Tips?

My mouse has been doing this for a while, but lifting the buttons and blowing has always fixed it for a decent length of time, however it has gotten to the point where one of the clicks will let go at some point while being held down 1/3 times. The mouse is out of warrenty because this wasn't an issue during, and I'm just considering buying a new one if I can't fix it.

It's been a few months since i switched to ubuntu 20.04 on my toshiba l850 laptop. And trackpad hasn't been working ever since. I know it's not a hardware problem because it works on windows (installed by default). Plugging in a usb mouse works and that's how i've been using it. But I'm tired of carrying an external mouse around. It might be a driver issue but I'm not really sure about it. There are drivers available for trackpad of this laptop but they're all for windows. I've been trying to debug it ever since but it never really worked out. Would be glad if any of you can help thanks. Laptop: toshiba l850 (probably 2013 model) BIOS: Insyde bios Processor: intel i5 3230M (64 bit) (upgraded from the default processor) Memory: 4GB kingston SODIMM DDR3 1600MHz

Hi, Although I've recently bought a new one, I sometimes like to switch to my old mouse. That's why it's always plugged in, sitting next to my Keyboard, so I can just use it when I feel like it. Now here's my problem: some games don't allow switching to another mouse during a round. For switching during a game I have to manually unplug the other mouse and then the still plugged in one works. Is it possible to write a small program, that automatically deactivates the other mouse, when a button is first pressed on the mouse I want to use? I hope my description isn't that confusing and there are some people with helpfull ideas.

Hello everyone. As you read in the title i want to buy a new mouse . I am between these 2 :Logitech G502 Hero or Razer DeathAdder V2. Which one would you recommend for gaming usage? My budget is 50-60$ so if you have any other suggestions i'd be glad to hear them. My current mouse is G502 Proteus Spectrum but it costs over 150$ now so getting the same one again is out of the question.Thank you

I have no clue on how and why, but at seemingly random times almost all apps don't register clicks anymore. The settings application responds to hovers, but not to clicks. Any application opened does not respond to clicks. The task bar works normally. I have no clue on where do I begin troubleshooting. I can use the keyboard just fine. Please, I need help. The problem persists after restating.

Hi all. I'm looking for a silent, wired mouse. Preferably horizontal scroll too and a few programmable buttons, but these aren't a must. Free scrolls would be very nice. Silenced G502 or corded MX Master 3 could do. Something like that. Must not be Logi, manufacturer does not matter. Although Linux-compatibility would be great plus. Any ideas besides somehow modding the 502? Was also eyeing on trackballs, out of curiosity as I never tried them. But also haven't found any claims about silenced clicks.

Right now I'm using a Tecware EXO+, a $20 Model O clone with a 3327 instead of a 3360, which I had a great time with. But after a year and a half, a side button gave in since I bind it to something in almost every game I play, and I'm looking for a decent replacement. The rest of the mouse is working fine though but I just don't want to be bothered to adjust my muscle memory again. I've thought of just buying another copy, but the durability of the side buttons is a concern. I've seen many recommend the G102/203 as the default best mouse for $20, I've bought them before when they first came out, but the clicks malfunctioned in 3months and had to replace the switches myself since RMA'ing a product is a bit of a hassle in my country. Does anyone know if these QC issues has been fixed already? If they are, I'm open to trying them again. Another recommendation I've seen is the Asus TUF M3, they look good on paper, but I've seen some mixed opinions on these (click latency, sensor delay issues etc.). And the Fantech X17 which is apparently a popular local brand, which also looks good on paper, but I can't find any comprehensive reviews about them except for those product page buyer reviews, which are mostly positive. Other recommendations or insights are welcome, If it matters, I don't play competitive FPS, but software support is a must for me since I use it often to remap buttons both for games and work.

For a few months now (with two separate Mice), I've been having issues with my drag scroll (via the middle mouse button). I opened no particular software or game and it won't let me scroll anymore. Does anyone know how this could be fixed? Thanks in advance Mouse: Corsair Nightsword RGB OS: Windows 11 Pro

Let me explain. So I’ve been having this issue with my logitech g502 hero. When I look around in game, it lags, freezes or stutters. It never came to me that the mouse would be the problem, but when I tried it with some no-name gaming mouse my games worked normally. So I just thought it was time for a new mouse so I picked up a razer orichi v2 thinking it would fix it but the same thing happened if not worse. I tried uninstalling the software because I thought the mice that used a software lagged but the one that didn’t have a software was fine but nothing happened. I don’t think this is a performance issue because it worked fine on the other mouse. Are there any fixes? I’m becoming desperate because the other mouse is horrible and I don’t want to use it for more than I have to.

Hi I have g603 currently but from the very beginning it had scroll issue where it was stopping to work. At first it was replaced but after a while the symptoms were there again. I tried to fight with it based on similar issues found on net but yesterday I finally said "that's it". I see that there are much more wireless gaming options there than when G603 came out. That's why I need advise. I can read specifications for myself but it's harder to get durability and stability info. At the moment I'm considering: Logitech G305 - was recommended to me by some user on reddit. I didn't yet have time to read and watch anything about it but I'm little bit afraid of anything from Logitech at the moment...especially when their soft isn't too stable. Steelseries Aerox 3 Wireless - I have little concerns about having holes in the case...What about dust and things like that? Glorious Model O Wireless - the same as above. Pwnage Ultra Custom Wireless Symm 2 (solid sides) - it's probably impossible for me to buy it because I'm looking for something that would be available in Poland or at most in EU. Dell Alienware 610M - my wife suggested this, she doesn't like honeycomb designs. I had also Logitech Pro X Superlight on this list but as it turns out it's horribly expensive... At the moment I like Steelseries and Glorious for a little bit different reasons. I had Sensei long time ago and was happy with it so here is nostalgia. Glorious on the other hand have this PC and joke vibe because of their name and what it's based of. The list isn't closed so if there's anything that I could add to it please tell me. My expectations are really low in this case - all I want is as long battery life as possible from device that is cantered at gaming. That was the reason I choose G603. I don't care too much about weight. G603 with two AAs is quite heavy and it doesn't bother me. Oh and BTW - I will change feet to ceramic eventually whatever I'll choose. Edit: Added Dell Alienware 610M by my wife's suggestion.
