Hi I have been using Model O wireless for last one month. Suddenly lighting stopped working for the mouse. Even the DPI indicator light at the back of mouse not showing up. The mouse is functioning fine. The mouse has no damage history. What I tried - updating the firmware to latest version from Glorious Core tried with/without cable recharged/discharged to full resetting all lighting config uploading different working config from another user None of these worked. The mouse has no light on it right now. Any idea?

So I'm trying to set up my pc to run two instances of windows and so valorant on it using the Aster v7 tool. Everything worked pretty great till I started the game and realised that Valorant locks any other mouse input to the system the moment you start the game. I haven't been able to find any way online to get this up and running. I even tried assigning 2 different usb controllers to the individual instances, but it still wasn't successful. If anyone has any tips, that would be really amazing. Thanks

mouse Glorious Model O (Wired) "lagging" at 1000hz polling rate?
yakalelo posted a topic in Peripherals
Hi guys! This have been a problem I've had since I got this mouse, probably like 7-8 months ago. When I first got this mouse, I noticed I could put the Polling rate at 1000hz, which is pretty good, so I did put my polling rate at this level. But, the thing is, that my mouse has some "lags" when using this polling rate. Indeed, when moving my mouse around with my polling rate level at 1000hz, for some reason, my mouse lags. I'll put some videos below so you guys can notice what's the problem and probably tell me how to fix it. 1000hz.mp4 500hz.mp4 -
A while back I posted a similar post, I used some compressed air in between the wheel and it still jumps but not nearly as much, now my left click doesn't click down properly, even if I hold it. So I was forced to use my utility to change my up dps button as left click. Should I open up my mouse and follow some youtube vidoe? or just buy a new mouse.

So, some context. I have had this issue for a while now, since early July, I reckon. I was not able to solve it since then. I first thought it was the mouse I had, a G502 from logitech (I even was to contact amazon and requtest a replacement), but I was mistaken. I did, though, have a speculation that it could be because of the software of my PC (because the bios did not have the issue). Today I lauched Windows for the first time in 11 months to load an old save I had there for a game, and I was amazed to see that the issue was not due to the mouse functioning badly, which honstly is a godsend. That got me excited and I started thinking what could be the issue, well, I went to the Ubuntu Hideout (the Discord Server on the tech-talk channel), I asked some questions, but apparently their solution was outdated as the gnome-tweaks program did not have the option to disable it anymore. I have searched for an option on the dconf-editor to find nothing. So, I thought it was because of GNOME, but then for some reason I chose to log out and use Wayland (I cannot use this regularly because I have an nvidia GPU). Wayland fixes it, so the problem lies in Xorg, or that is what I think it lies in. Please help this has, honestly, not been a fun experience. Feel free to ask questions, I will make sure to answer as soon as possible. Thanks for reading. I am trying to help a friend troubleshoot his mouse issues. His mouse works completely fine but when he launches a Valorant game, in-game his DPI is insanely low. It's a problem that he just recently has had. He got a new monitor when the problem arose but that should be unrelated to the issue. He doesn't have any game profiles or anything set up in G-Hub and his mouse drivers are up to date. Any advice?

My mouse sensitivity increases by ~5x when playing most games. The sensitivity on windows is fine and in some game menus is fine but once loaded in is insanely fast. Context: I have recently upgraded my pc including a new SSD. I installed windows and all my drivers etc onto this new drive and then plugged in my old second hard drive from my other pc (no windows install or anything like that, just steam library) into my new pc and dragged all my game files across to my SSD to save reinstalling them. I have noticed that games I have installed on my pc since do not tend to have this problem and it only appears to be ones I transferred from my old computer (could be coincidence), that being said I have since uninstalled several of these games and reinstalled them and the sensitivity issue is still there. My mouse is a Logitech G403 and I am using the latest version of Windows 10 Pro Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this? Thank you for any and all help Games unaffected: - World of Tanks - Forza Horizon 5 - Minecraft Things I have tried: - 2 different brand of mouse (razer without installing synapse and generic usb mouse) - Uninstalling G Hub as well as persistance mode and onboard mode - Disabling mouse acceleration and increased mouse precision - Disabling windows game mode - Reinstalling games (maybe steam cloud saves config files?) - unplugging all other usb devices except keyboard and mouse

I started playing RDRO recently and was almost driven crazy(ier) by the right mouse button having a life of its own. The context menus and even ADS will disengage after a random number of seconds, usually between 2 and 5. Trying to do a wave emote and pulling a gun on players instead got old pretty fast and hunting is nigh impossible. This only happens when using toggle to aim and with more players in the session. If I force a solo session by blocking port 6672, I can play for hours with no issues. Just the same, if I'm in a populated session and use hold to aim, all is fine. I've never had this problem in any game, including GTA 5/Online. The very obvious solution is to use hold to aim, but the fact I'm seeking help shows that's not satisfactory. I have trouble coordinating aiming, shooting and holding the RMB all at the same time due to having a condition known as "sucking." Playing on a i7-7700HQ machine running Windows 10 Home with a G502 X mouse and MX Keys keyboard. The receiver dongle is very close to the mouse, so the problem is not a weak signal. I've asked about this on a couple of Reddit subs and got nowhere, so it's time for the LTTF folks to prove their inherent superiority over those normies. And do it quick, please, before we have no forum left as LTT races Twitter to see who implodes first. (JK, there's no comparison between the two, I know I can trust the owners, management and staff at LTT, and let's not even face off the lead vocals of both companies. You go, Linus & co., we stand behind you for praise or criticism.)

So as the title says I've had my Razer Viper Ultimate nearly a year but it keeps on disconnecting deems to be a somewhat common issue but I was wondering if there was another fix for it other than the fix I have. my fix is fan control's at relativly high speeds which I'm guessing of a random solution in my head the usb is getting crazy hot. but if anyone has a better solution I would love to be able to use my mouse at waaaay lower fan speeds

Hello out there! I'm in need of your help, as I'm looking for a new mouse, because my current one (NZXT Lift) has stopped working after only a few months (for the second time) and I'm tired of this mouse for now. (if anyone is interested in what exactly is not working: the scroll wheel is being "weird" and scrolling in either direction at random when scrolling or sometimes not even touching the mouse at all and its gradually getting worse) Here's the catch though: I don't need a super high dpi extremely lightweight and whatnot mouse. I'm more looking for one that fits my setup aesthetically and will last me a longer than only a few months. So my criterias are: Wired (preferably with a black wire), White (either exclusively or with black accents) and a somewhat basic design (without a lot of logos straight into your face and stuff) and preferably a bit of rgb (for the extra fps ;D). OR basically any mouse that would fit my setup (image attached below). I am consider any suggestion and also already looked into it myself of course, but can't really decide in terms of longevity of the mouse itself and so on, which is why I'm asking for your suggestions. The price point does not matter that much, just maybe not some ultra premium whatever mouse for more than 200$. Cheers, DWNY

Battery life has taken a gander off the deep end. From 1+ month it's now down to a few days at most. The mouse has been out of warranty for ~4yrs now, and I've had it for ~5. I'm thinking maybe I can replace the batteries with a Qi charger (similar to Logitech's Logitech G PowerPlay, but done on the cheap with a custom PCB under a mousepad, or even the PCB working as the mousepad), but I've never seen anyone do something similar. Another option would be to drill a hole in the front of the mouse, and internally pass a couple of wires to the battery enclosure, and use a DC-to-DC converter to regulate the voltage down to 1.5V. Any suggestions? Has anyone done something similar? I really don't want to give up on the 602 just get because I love the shape, but also for financial reasons...

MX anywhere 3 mouse scrolls horizontally(sideways) instead of vertically(up and down). This isn't the horizontal scroll option where you press one of the side buttons and I've tried disabling that option and still scrolling horizontal. Also I'm not holding shift or any other keys. I've tried resetting the mouse to default settings. I've also plugged in another generic mouse into the same computer and it scrolls normally. And I've used the mouse on another computer with a fresh install of windows and it keeps the same strange behavior of scrolling horizontally (sideways). Any suggestions on how to get it to scroll vertical (normal)?
-
Is there any good mice with some kind of horizontal scroll wheel (not scroll wheel tilt since I want to be able to control the speed of the scroll). I've been using the old Apple Mighty Mouse from 2006 (yes - you read that right!) since it has horizontal scrolling on the small wheel and I find the Logitech MX Master-series a bit too heavy. Must work on macOS.

Hi, I don't know what possibly could have happened between yesterday and today. After i started my notebook, I wanted to search something. But the middle key of my mouse didn't work. Usally I need the middle key for opening a link in a new tab inside of Firefox. My Pebble M350 runs with the included radio reciever (not Unifying) on Windows 10 latest version. But i also had an old Unifying adapter lying around. Both devices detected the M350 correctly. I also tried to open links in Edge. But still the middle key didn't work. Then I connected another radio reciever and tested my Logitech K270 & M185 combo. The M185 mouse was working correctly in both Firefox and Edge. I could open links in new tabs with its middle key. I tried Logitech Options and Options+ software for testing the M350's middle key. But both softwares are not showing device options. Instead they only show the M350 in the Unifying setup wizard as 'connected correctly'. Does anyone have similar experiences? How can i make the middle key of my Pebble M350 work again? Have a nice day ☀ bananaMochi

I have this issue with my pc that my peripherals stop working randomly. Whenever im using the computer, everything is just working fine until i see some stutters/lags in the mouse cursor, (it started happening out of nowhere and totally random) mouse cursor jitters for a second or two and then becomes normal if you are lucky(other devices like keyboard and headphones also stop working for a moment) Otherwise if not so lucky, all the devices would just stop working, the headphones make a sound similar to a broken speaker and in the end i have to just hard power off the computer. Happens in a totally random pattern. *The pc seems to be working fine when the devices stop working, it occurred to me when gaming and the game world was rendering just fine and everything seemed like just the devices have been disconnected from the computer. **Nothing happens if i disconnect and reconnect the usb cables. I don't know what it is, seems like a driver of some sort but cant figure it out. Looked up multiple forums and articles but got nothing. Anyone else who encountered similar issue, any help would be appreciated.***I have attached a video that shows what is the current situation cuz my explanation skills kinda suck. Video (Bruh youtube killed the video quality)

In his video about hot takes, he claimed that no mouse other than the Magic Mouse scrolls smoothly when connected to Apple devices ,(please watch the video between 06:12 and 10:04), because of Apple woo-woo. Has this claim ever been tested independently, by LTT or anyone else? If his claim was true, some ambulance chaser somewhere would have put together a consortium of $2-to-$250 mouse manufacturers to sue the fruit company. I look forward to everyone's insights, and maybe LTT Labs will look into making a "non-Apple mouse on Apple devices video.

Problem: I have a work mouse with a button for set DPI values: 1000, 1600 & 2400 dpi. There's no software to install like Logitech would have to adjust these values. Question: How would I change the mouse to 800 dpi on Windows 10? P.S: Windows additional mouse settings has a slider but this does not show specific DPI values.

Greeting everyone how are you doing? I recently changed my old mouse to a Logitech g203 mouse, and that's when problems started with me. Whenever I move the mouse the CPU usage in task manager raises up to +20% if I violently move my mouse all over the place. I thought this was something normal that I noticed before, but it also affected my gaming experience. Depending on the game, I get around 5-30 FPS drop when moving my mouse. For example COD Warzone if I run in a straight line it runs at 70FPS as soon as i try to turn my camera FPS drops to around 40-45FPS then goes up again when I stop moving my mouse. Things I tried to fix the issue: Tried running the same mouse on a different system, worked perfectly with no hiccups. Tried uninstalling Logitech G-Hub, didn't make any difference. Tried re-installing my AMD drivers using DDU in safe mode, same problem Bought a cheap mouse for testing, works perfectly with no increase in CPU usage. Decreasing the polling rate all the way to 125HZ, reduced the problem but it's present. Decreasing the DPI, besides making the experience horrible, didn't help at all. I am out of ideas to what I should try, I really like this mouse and it isn't cheap here in Egypt. But this stupid problem is preventing me from having any good experience with it. System Specs: CPU: Intel core I5 4570 3.4 GHZ GPU: AMD radeon rx580 4gb gddr5 Ram:16GB 4x4 ddr3 1600mt/s Mouse: logitech g203 Thank you for your time, any help will be appreciated.

Hi everyone, So recently I purchased Logitech G502 X. I was using their Logitech G Hub and I saw macros section. Can anyone here guide me how can I create a hold key macro in that section? Like holding M1 to do a action in any game? Thanks.

While using my drawing tablet, I found it interesting how my pen had no batteries but was still functional. Not that interesting, as so many tablets do this now. Anyways, it gave me the idea: Why are there no gaming mice that use similar tech? We could have wireless mice that do not have batteries, saving on cost and weight. I was going to modify an old mouse I have to work with on one of my tablets, but I discovered this device already exists. Razer also makes a similar implementation, but their idea still uses a conventional mouse sensor. So, the next step was to think of all the pros and cons of a device like this: Remember, this would not initially be a device for casual, budget-centered gamers. First, the cons: You need a tablet underneath the mouse at all times: I do not think this is a big deal, as almost everyone uses a mouse pad. This means that without the tablet, the mouse would be useless. This limitation can be inconvenient for users who may want to use the mouse without the tablet or when the tablet is unavailable. Yeah, it would probably be expensive, but people already spend $80-$100 on glass mouse pads. In a world with a Razer mouse that costs $280 (yes, I think that is overpriced for what it offers), I think a sensorless, batteryless mouse with an EMR mousepad could be bought for way less. Lower polling rate: Most drawing tablets have a lower polling rate compared to gaming mice. Drawing tablets typically use absolute positioning, where a specific spot on the tablet corresponds to a particular spot on the screen. This allows for accurate drawing and does not require a high polling rate. However, gaming mice typically use relative positioning, where the cursor moves based on the movement of the mouse. This requires a higher polling rate for smooth and responsive cursor movement. A wireless mouse using drawing tablet technology may have a lower polling rate, affecting its performance in gaming scenarios. Hardware smoothing: Some drawing tablets have hardware smoothing, which can affect the accuracy and precision of the pen input. While this may not be a problem for every tablet, it is something to consider when designing a wireless mouse with similar technology. It's important to ensure that the mouse provides accurate and precise tracking without any hardware smoothing that may introduce unwanted smoothing effects. Limited market demand: While there may be a niche market for a wireless mouse that uses drawing tablet technology, it's important to consider the overall demand for such a device. Gaming mice are already widely available and popular among gamers, so introducing a new type of wireless mouse may not have widespread appeal. This could limit the potential market for the device and impact its commercial success. Higher cost: Implementing drawing tablet technology into a wireless mouse may result in a higher manufacturing cost compared to traditional gaming mice. This could make the device more expensive for consumers, potentially limiting its accessibility and market reach. Now, the pros: Enhanced Precision with Lightweight Design: The mouse's weight can be significantly reduced by eliminating the wireless sensor and battery. This lighter and usually smaller form factor improves precision and control, enabling gamers to aim more accurately. Before you tell me to hit the gym, Rocket Jump Ninja emphasizes the benefits of a more lightweight mouse in his illuminating video on the Finalmouse Starlight. Battery-Free Peace of Mind: With a mouse that operates without the need for a battery, you never have to worry about it running out of power or the hassle of recharging it. As gaming mice incorporate faster polling rates, battery life becomes a concern. By eliminating the need for a battery, this wireless mouse ensures uninterrupted gaming sessions without any battery-related interruptions (POV Glorious Model O Wireless owners). Eliminate Mouse Drift: In certain games, absolute positioning can be advantageous. While this mode is particularly beneficial in specific 2D games like osu!, it presents an enticing feature for many gamers. This wireless mouse eliminates mouse drift and provides a more stable and accurate cursor movement by incorporating drawing tablet technology. Consistent and Convertible DPI: Instead of relying on DPI settings within the mouse, the tablet would have its own consistent "resolution." This standardized resolution across models simplifies the conversion process between different sizes and allows users to achieve a low DPI feel while still leveraging a higher and more precise resolution. This flexibility ensures optimal customization for gamers to tailor their mouse sensitivity to their preferences. Stable and Reliable Mouse Polling Rate: Unlike many wireless mice with fluctuating polling rates to conserve battery life, this wireless mouse, with drawing tablet technology, maintains a consistent and stable polling rate. This eliminates potential inconsistencies in aim caused by varying polling rates, ensuring a reliable and accurate gaming experience. Reduced Latency: Drawing tablets typically offer lower latency and highly responsive pen input. By leveraging this technology in a wireless mouse, it has the potential to provide minimal input lag, resulting in a more precise and immediate cursor movement during gaming. Versatile Usage: It can serve as a dual-purpose device, catering to both gaming and creative needs. This can appeal to individuals who engage in gaming and digital art or design. What do you guys think? Would you try a mouse like this, or should we continue using the conventional mouse sensor?

I’m looking for a decent wireless mouse for use at work. The one I have works fine but it’s tiny so I find it uncomfortable to use for extended periods of time, I prefer to use a palm grip so a larger mouse would work a lot better for me. I’d also rather not have to spend a huge amount on something built for gaming because it will never be used for that. Any ideas for a mouse that would fit this criteria?

Hey all, So I have some musculoskeletal issues and have found my hands/arms are almost pain-free by having my elbows slightly wider than the shoulders and my hand's shoulder width. So I am looking at getting a keyboard of the style of the ones in the picture I have attached as I am currently using a Razer Blackwidow Chrome v2, I would also like to swap my Logitech G502 for a wireless Gaming mouse. Does anyone have any recommendations? Does need: - Mechanical Keys - Programmable Macro Keys - Wrist rest - Wireless Doesn't need: - Numpad -RGB Nice to have's: - USB passthrough I can sell the mouse and keyboard I currently have for around £100-120 so that is the sort of budget I am working with. Thankyou

Hi everyone, first time posting here sorry if this is in the wrong spot. I'm currently using a Hexgears X-1 (the original Kickstarter one I got from a friend) + a Microsoft Ergonomic Wireless Mouse. I want to get a new mouse & keyboard now that I'm getting more into PC gaming & was looking for advice on what brands & models are considered good in terms of comfort, value, etc. I don't really play anything super competitive but want something that will be comfortable when playing FPS games like Halo, Apex & Destiny, as well as when playing RTS & turn-based strategy like Halo Wars, Civ, etc. My hands are average to large size for a 5'9" man and I can't really say what grip I use with the mouse I do have, but I know I don't hold it the way the ergonomic shape tries to encourage me to hold it. I was looking at the HyperX Pulsefire Haste since it's lightweight & I like the cutouts so my palm can breath a little while playing for a long time. Is this considered a good mouse or is there a better value/better quality option I'm overlooking? For keyboard, I'm looking for something a little clicky, but not as loud as my X-1, with RGB & Bluetooth + wired so I can swap it between my work machine and my gaming PC as needed. I'm not sure, but I don't think I can swap the switches on my X-1 unfortunately. I was looking into the world of mechanical keyboards but don't think I have the budget right now for these $150+ kits, as cool as they are. Any suggestions or tips for where to start researching? Happy to do my own digging and decide for myself but as a total noob to this space I'm not sure what's good and what's bad or resources to get started. Thanks so much for any tips and for reading this far!

I've owned the Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Pro Click. However, the Razer's scroll wheel randomly jumps up and down while scrolling and the Logitech MX Master is too heavy. I'm looking for a...: Large (I have large hands so about the same size as the Pro Click/MX Master). Bluetooth. Light (max 110 grams). NOT Razer (I'm tired of their bad quality control). Any recommendations is greatly appreciated, thank you!
