I have a mouse that can register 10cps clicking but not drag clicking. I want to find out how many cps it registers but can't find that online. Is there a special word for it? I haven't found any mention, including for gaming mice.

I have used a Scimitar for four years and after the second year of use the M1 button got so mushy that I can only press it when applying pressure to the very tip of the mouse. I am wondering if I just got a bad mouse or if this is a common issue with the Scimitar. I am looking to get a new MMO mouse, I don't really care about sensors or anything just buttons and durability. I would rather get another Scimitar since I am familiar with it but if it is a common problem for the mouse to get mushy I would rather find another one.

A year ago I used wireless mouse. It came with its own dongle and worked very good. The only problem I encountered were occasional disconnections (like when I hold mouse button clicked it releases for no reason, I also had problems with mouse wheel because when I was scrolling it would jump up and down, I'm guessing it was also a problem wihh connectivity as the mouse was fairly new). I became annoyed and bought proper wired mouse that's working fine, but now I'm wondering, are all wireless mice like this? I mean I didn't really notice any lag with mouse and I was super satisfied with it aside from those random connection problems. Was it just that I bought a bad mouse or what. My PC is very close to mouse so the distance wasn't the problem. Would it be better to use Bluetooth mouse that connects to PCs Bluetooth instead of mouse witj it's own dongle? Was the battery problem (I did change it few times but connection problems persisted)? I was just thinking about that mouse and I realised that I'm not sure what to think about them anymore. I use Bluetooth controller and I never noticed any connectivity problems but then again, maybe it is not so noticeable in game. What are your experiences?

I want to buy a mouse similar size and weight to the Dell Mouse MS116, on Amazon.in it shows Item Dimensions LxWxH: 8.9 x 5.1 x 5.1 Centimeters. Weight: 99g But for Logitech G403 it shows Item Dimensions LxWxH: 5.1 x 10.2 x 20.3 Centimeters. How on earth will I hold the mouse if it's 20cm tall!? What is going on? Weight: 400g Logitech G102's Item Dimensions LxWxH: 20 x 8 x 3.5 Centimeters. It's 20 cm long? Nani!? Weight is reasonable 97g. Im not sure if the weight values are correct either, please find me a reliable mouse information site. I just want a mouse with some extra buttons for gaiming and productivity under $50. My hand is perfect for my current mouse Dell MS116. Thanks

Hello, I'm looking for replacements to these pieces of kit that I have been rockin' for well over a decade now. Unfortunately they are nearing the end of their life and have been excellent products which is why I'd like to buy Logitech products again. Here's some information: https://techgage.com/article/logitech_g15_gaming_keyboard/ (Released 2005) https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/139-logitechg5mouse (Released 2007) Are there any good Logitech replacements out there that are similar/current? Keyboard - If you have ideas and it ends up being a mechanical keyboard then it must be as quiet as possible. The G1 to G18 keys on my old one above have been unused since my WoW/EVE days so a keyboard with G Keys is non-essential. Mouse - If you have ideas for the mouse my only requirement is that the thing doesn't have 20 buttons on it and looks like this thing folded up. Which I assume will feel uncomfortable. I hope this is something you guys can help me with. Any support here would be greatly appreciated

so I ran into a problem where the mouse moves perfectly when lifted by few millimeters and barely moves when i put my weight onto it I suppose the pads have gotten thinner and that causes this problem. Is there any way to recalibrate it or something of that kind cause I've already disassembled and assembled it back to the original state and i guess i would have to put a little more glue underneath the pads thanks this is the mouse= https://www.bloody.com/en/product.php?pid=10&id=107

I have an X-Box 360 Kinect that I use for 3D scanning. I have wanted to use it to track my hand movements and use that as a mouse cursor. The closest I have come to getting it to work is finding an app that should do what I just described that just refused to open. After looking at the clock and the amount of coffee I had gone through, I figured I would just post it here and see if somebody had a solution.

Hi, Due to unfortunate circumstances I have had to retire my m65 pro due to wear on the left click Omron switch (causing double clicking) and a sensitivity bug (causing my dpi to spontaneously jump). I now require a new mouse and have found myself rather stuck with the amount of options available, not to mention not being unable to try the mice out due to Covid / Underlying health problems. I really like the shape of the m65 pro so I am considering the m65 elite, has anybody had any experience with this mouse or perhaps has an idea of another mouse I could purchase? Budget really isn't a problem, main uses are FPS, 3D rendering (buttons are nice to have) and general day to day use :D. Stay safe, Lex.

Does anyone know of a good lightweight Bluetooth mouse under $100

Hi There! My last 2 mice started double clicking after 6 and 8 months periods (first one was some no brand one and the second one was a Roccat Kain) I wonder if this such common occurrence? The more I research the more I think that the switches they use are not up to par. What kind of switch should I get/look for? I pay some FPS but mostly story driven games. I use claw grip when gaming but when working I find palm grip more comfortable (hand size is 18.5 cm by 10 cm) I'm looking for recommendations on what to get. my max budget is €100 but I would prefer spend around €50 Euro and I'm located in Spain Thanks

Update Turns out it was GSync. While GSync is active, the cursor drops to 10ish FPS while hovering over any 'not active' windows. Problem is gone completely with deactivated GSync. As a workaround I set up GSync to only activate with games. I still don't know if it's the CPU, GPU or Monitor tho. __________________ Hey there! Looking for someone with similiar problems, potential causes, and a fix. I experience horrible lag while moving the cursor over certain program windows. The bevahior is compareable to very low FPS. Examples: moving the cursor around in Cinebench (as soon as the cursor isn't over CB anymore, but on Windows, everything is smooth - CB Scores are really good anyways) same with Ryzen Master, Gigabyte App Center, ... Adobe Programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, ...) work perfectly smooth. As soon as I hover the cursor over the settings menu at the top, the lag happens. Lag stops as soon as the cursor isn't above the menu bar anymore. Windows and all the mentioned programs are located on the same M.2 SSD. Notes: The system is newly built Windows is fresh installed Divers are up to date Benchmarks are -very- good Temperatures are as expected Lag doesnt happen in games (different SSD) System: Ryzen 5900x Rtx 3080 FE Gigabyte B550 Vision D 4 sticks Trident Z 3600-16 B-Die @3600 Corsair AX1000 GSync Monitor @ 144Hz Everything at stock except XMP, FLKC (1800) Thanks for any input! This wonky behavior is driving me nuts :[

So I've had this mouse for such a long time, I cant seem to find any software for this specific mouse... Yeah it came with a disc but I lost that years ago. I was wondering if anyone had any idea where I could find these drivers if not I'm probably going to end up replacing this mouse. I cant change the color and It would be nice for it to match my laptop All I managed to find was this manual for the mouse: https://www.thesource.ca/download/EN/108043020_Manual.pdf Thanks

ok so today i started having all sorts of issues with my mouse depending on the polling rate. in most of my games especially the source engine ones 1000hz just isnt really unusable (titanfall 2 is straight up unplayable, everytime i move the mouse the performance goes down dramatically even if i use 500hz), the cursor will appear if the mouse is being moved too fast and flicker and go to my other monitors, basically making faster flicks impossible because itll click on my other monitors. 500hz makes it better kinda. so yeah i havent had this issue ever until today. i have a i7 9750h and 1660ti, 16 gb ram. before i had been using and the issue started happening on one of the windows insider builds because i needed it to fix an issue with the refresh rates of my monitors. but i am currently on windows 10 version 20H2. i have uninstalled and reinstalled my usb 3.0 root things twice now. i have checked for drivers but couldve missed some. i do not know what could have caused this to start happening. does anybody have any idea what to do. im thinking that my best bet for a fix is to backup some files that cant just be redownloaded and just factory resetting. i also tried my old mouse that can do 1000hz and same problems. pretty sure it isnt a hardware issue, at least in the mouse itself. PS. I don't want to just lower down to 250hz or 125hz. I have been using 1000hz for a year now and dont want to downgrade to lower because of an error especially because i recently got a high refresh rate monitor so the lower polling rate is way more noticeable now.

I have recently been experiencing very noticeable mouse lag in games but also in the desktop like when launching The New Edge browser. It's like the CPU is dropping the mouse to deal with whatever its doing. It first started in games but slowly got worse and eventually spread to edge. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? What I've seen when CPU usage is high is the system drops frames rather than inputs so what gives?

So I've had my new PC for just two months now, but for about half of that time, my mouse has been having issues where the cursor will freeze for 2-3 seconds, and then will snap to where it's supposed to be had it not disconnected. This only happens with one mouse to my knowledge (I'm using the Fnatic Gear FLICK Gen 1). Some important things I should probably note: - When the mouse disconnects, the RGB lights will turn off. They turn back on when the mouse catches up with itself I guess. Though rarely, the mouse will disconnect and stay off, and I'll have to unplug and plug it back in to connect it again. - The issue is only with this PC. On my older PC and PS4, this issue never happens. The same mouse works perfectly fine. (minus a small issue where a single click registers as a double click sometime, but I don't know whether that issue is also limited to my new PC only, or whether it happens on any device.) - I've tried changing USB ports, but the issue still happens. - This only happens with this mouse. - I have tried reinstalling mouse software and firmware many times, but nothing seems to fix it. I also search for my mouse in Device Manager and update drivers, but I am told I am using the latest ones. Any idea what could be causing this issue?? I have a really cheap mouse that I'm using right now since it works, but I don't want to have to replace my gaming mouse if a new one will also suffer from the issues. Given that my Fnatic mouse only has issues on one PC (and no other devices, AFAIK) I am worried that this could be a PC issue to rather than being solely an issue with the mouse. Any advice is much appreciated.

Hi guys, I'm looking to buy a new mouse, but I haven't had to look into this market in years. So I wanted to get a better idea as to what could work for me. I know the best way is to try them for yourself at a store, but the ones around me only have the generic/office mice out on the shelf. Almost anything over 25 pounds is locked up in a box. Plus I'd like to see if any of them have flaws that wouldn't be immediately obvious. Right now I have the A4tech Bloody Gun3 v5 - https://www.performance-pcs.com/clearance-scratch-dent/mice-clearance/bloody-multi-core-gun3-gaming-mouse-v5-mo-v5.html and it's on it's last leg. The wheel barely works, the left button double clicks every time and the right one works half the time. So it's clearly the time to say goodbye. One thing of note is that I have really big hands, so I value size and comfortable shape over any technical bells and whistles. This mouse is rather sizable at 125 x 64 x 39 and even then I can only get a claw grip on it. Though it is a comfortable one. I don't have any preferable brands, don't care about RGB or extensive macros. I also tend to go for wired over wireless. Just best bang for buck, comfortable, large mouse that will last a long while. So from the research I've done I got it nailed down to these few mice: Razer Basilisk V2 Razer Deathadder Elite SteelSeries Rival 310 They are all around the same price (Basilisk is on a sale to match the rest), so that isn't a factor. Right now I would gravitate towards the Basilisk, but I'm not especially attached to the idea either. I also heard that Razer Viper and Glorious Model-O are some of the most recommended mice, but they aren't all that big and I don't really know how comfortable the "super light weight" would be for me. Turns out the Gun3 I have right now is really heavy in comparison (155g), but I honestly didn't even realise it would be considered a heavy one. Also the Model-O seems like a nightmare to keep clean. I also saw Logitech G502 HERO and MX Master 2S recommended here and there, but from what I've read Hero falls behind the others I mentioned in the overall performance and features and the 2S is more of a high end office mouse. It's also about 20 pounds more and I don't know if it's worth it. Though it is the only one of the mice mentioned above that I got to try out at the store and it does feel really nice. The side wheel also seems like a usefull addition. Anyway, that's about what I've been able to gather on my own. Please share your thoughts, recommendations and any advice you could spare. Thank you.

Hy.I just got a mouse mat from madcazt it is the biggest oine you can get from them the one wher you can place the keyboard and mouse as well. The problem is with this mouse mnat is that the edge is not sttanding together,it needs the needlework around the edges like other manufacturees do.What could i do to solve this issue are there any material would be good to not fall behind the quality of the mouse mats if i mod this one with around the edges? In short moude mat edges started to have slices of the surface that i use i want to make sure by modding it around the edges that this will notr happen with maybe a a needlework. What is the material that most of the matufacturers use at thos edfes around the mouse mat to close then down?Thank you. The mat i have problem with. https://www.madcatz.com/En/Product/Detail/glide38 This is what is missing around the edges: https://printyourpad.com/ REINFORCED EDGE STITCHING This mouse pad is built to last and has high quality stitching around its edges to ensure it doesn't fray or fall apart like other mouse pads. Greatly increases the lifespan and the aesthetics of the mousepad. Optimal stitch size helps prevent you from rubbing your wrists on the edges which can cause a skin irritation.

About 3 months ago, I purchased a Logitech G502. I've recently been having some issues where the right click is inconsistent. For example, I might be holding down the right click, and it'll think that I just right clicked a lot. Any chance this can be fixed with contact cleaner/dielectric grease? I'd rather not reach out to Logitech because this is apparently a common G502 Hero problem. I'd rather not replace it this early, as I did pay $50 USD, and I'd expect more than 3 months out of a mouse like this.

So I've been digging around for a bit and not finding much info on these products. I have a redragon Vishnu wireless keyboard and vampire wireless mouse. Both have full rgb. Now on to the question better software to control them. The company site software is buggy and even set off smart screen while trying to install. Also you have to have 2 seperate software suites for mouse and keyboard. Ive given up on hopes of having my aura rgb sync with my mouse and keyboard but I would like the keyboard and mouse to at least match. Any help is appreciated.

I have been looking for hours now trying to find an article that explains how to clean the smell of cat spray out of a keyboard properly without shorting it out. Here's the backstory: I had received a new HP Pavilion All-In-One PC after HP damaged the one that went with the keyboard/mouse combo I am referring to. Not needing it, I gave it to a relative who has a one year old cat that we gave her because our dog wasn't getting along well with it. I got it back from her after she ended up not needing it and now it smells like cat spray because the cat has not yet been fixed. He has been spraying in her house for the last 3 months. This leads me to the question of how to clean a keyboard and mouse that have been subjected indirectly to cat spray. If anyone has a solution and could share it, please do so. Thanks!!!
