I recently upgrade from a GTX 1080 Ti to a RTX 3080 Ti but Overwatch and Halo Infinite both are getting 40-50fps on epic settings, I have tried completely reformatting drive and reinstalling Windows 10, updating drivers, changing power profiles to performance, updating M.2 drivers, enabled DOCP for the RAM, and even swapped out the PSU from 860 to 1000 and nothing has helped temps all seem to be within normal ranges as well. the Specs are as follows: Ryzen 7 5800X Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti FE 64gb 3200mhz g. Hi there, I'm looking for help dealing with an issue that is leading to my GPU staying at about 20% usage in most games I play. It leads to a huge dip in frames in all of the games that I play despite my setup meeting or exceeding the recommended setup. The GPU temperature seems normal, in any game it stays at about 50 degrees (Celsius), and the CPU usage is normal as well (about 50-60% usage). I've tried disabling V-sync, setting the power consumption to performance rather than energy saving, etc. I've also got my GPU drivers updated to the most current update. My setup is: RX 580 i5-8400 16GB DDR4 RAM @ 2666MHz Any help would be appreciated thanks!

I get an average of 120 fps on ultra settings(1080p) in Warzone and I think I should get more. I have seen Youtube Videos with the same specs and they got 200+, Also my friends with similiar setups get more fps. Please help. The problem is that my new RTX3070 behaves worse than the old gtx1660 6gb dd5. the use of my 3070 GPU in the game does not exceed 30-55% and it is not clear to me that everything I found on the internet I did and failed, I would like to know if it is a problem with the driver or my GPU. It's a shame that with a graphics like RTX 3070, that I have to play CS: GO at 100FPS at high Operating System: Windows 10 Home, 64-bit DirectX version: 12.0 GPU processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Driver version: 511.79 Driver Type: DCH Direct3D feature level: 12_1 help me plz

My PC specs: CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x GPU: 3080 strix lhr Motherboard: NZXT N7 B550 Ram: Corsair Dominator Platinum 3600MHz PSU: Corsair 850W Am a very early adopter of Windows 11 and I participated in windows test builds since it has been released in the dev channel. On Win 11 offical release I made a clean install and got the latest stable win 11 build. I got no issues until a few weeks ago. Am not entirely sure, but I think it started 1 or a half week before the L3 AMD Cache patch came out. Since then I experienced limited/locked FPS in a few games: Valorant: before 300+ fps | after 60-90 fps Fortnite: Before 150 fps | after 10-30fps Apex Legends: Before 150fps | after 10-20 fps (already in menu) Any game breaks. Even a YouTube Video shutters when watching it while having a game open. A simple workaround was restarting the PC which recovers the performance immediately. But this stopped working a few days ago. Now I need to completely reinstall my NVIDIA drivers to temporary fix it. After a restart it breaks again.

I used to run csgo at above 400 fps i used to limit it to 144 now all of sudden with nothing changed i log on and can barely run the game at 60 fps. all i did was wake up the next day load csgo and the frames were shit. it has nothing to do with my specs :Ryzen threadripper 3950x :Radeon 5700xt 8gb :32gb Gskill 3200mhz memory and the game is installed on a crucial P1 gen4 m.2 I have no idea how to fix this iv'e tried everything i cant think of. Has anyone else had this issue?

Quick question: my set up is a bit old, but I feel it should be performing better, esp in games like Warzone specs: Intel Core-i5 7500 ASUS Strix B250i MB 16 GB RAM DDR4 Asus Strix GTX 1080 LG 144hz 1440p monitor I can't seem to get a good FPS in Warzone, no matter what how low the settings or resolution are I'm getting 50-80fps I know the i5 is probably the weakest link in the setup, since it's getting over 90% utilization would upgrading to a i7 - 7700k give me a stable 100+ fps? also i'm using the Phanteks Shift case, which i've heard might have issues with the GPU riser cable, but in other games I don't seem to be experiencing such low fps

Hi guys , I hope no one's running into issues like me. So I have a system with these specs : ~CPU : Ryzen 7 3700x ~GPU : Gtx 1070ti Strix ~Storage : 256gb Xpg nvme / 2tb HDD Seagate Barracuda. ~OS : win 10 ~PSU : 1000w thermaltake ~Cooling: stock AMD RGB cooler(CPU). ~RAM: 2×8 (16gb) @ 3200mhz Corsair RGB. ~Mobo: Asus prime B550m •Problem: i have stuttering/ FPS drops/low GPU usage/ GPU usage fluctuations and high latency In all games. I never had these issues before , so before these issues my GPU would be fully utilized i.e 98% ~ 99% my CPU would change its clock speeds normally and its usage was around 30~40%. •Attempted solutions: *Tried reinstalling drivers/reverting back to older drivers. *Tried changingpowerplan to maximum performance for GPU & CPU. *Tried resetting PC in Windows settings. *Tried clean caches and optimizing drives. *Tried running all games in full screen, vsync disabled & ran them as administrator. *updated bios through Asus armoury crate. *Did furmark tests & monitored using HW monitor. *GPU temps 70°~75° when underload & CPU temps 62°~70° Max for both . *Disabled full screen optimizations for all games *Set priority high , hardware acceleration on , high performance for all games in graphics settings in Windows. *Nvme temps 60° Max and HDD 50° Max & Ram 55° Max. *Disabled any kind of overlays and disabled gamemode. *CPU clock is now fixed @4.5ghz on all cores because I oc it , before it were between 3.9 and 4ghz. *Tried oc the GPU . Also noticed cck or core clock fluctuations during monitoring as it went from 1773 to 1835 or 1822 however memory clock was fine. PLEASE HELP ME

So I found out some demo Youtube videos with similar spec that runs Death Stranding with better fps than me, in 4K resolution. While i cant even get the same result on a 1440p ultrawide display. To figure the reason here is what i did: 1. benchmark my system with UserBenchMark and 3dMark, the results show no major issue except my Time Spy Graphic Score is acceptably lower than average: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/22184274 2. tweak the game graphic setting and see what it does to the fps, by lowering resolution to somewhere close to 720p, this does improved the fps, but just a slightly bit. None of the CPU, GPU, or RAM usage is 100% while my fps still not going up outside the setting interface. That is where I decided to get help here. FYI: Vsync is OFF Max fps is OFF Nvidia control panel > power management is set to high performance Nvidia control panel > triple buffering is ON GeForce Game Ready Driver version 471.68 Build: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 RTX 3060Ti Zotac Twin Edge OC 2x8GB RAM (DDR4-3200 CL16) Asrock B550M Pro4 Corsair RM850 here are my results in 3 different games (All set to ~720p low resolution)

Hi there. I just build a new PC for my brothers last week. The problems start when they start playing game. The framerate I got is incredibly low for the hardware I put in. The spec are as follow. CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 (Stock cooler) GPU: GTX 1070ti MB: Steel legend B450 PSU: 750 watt gold Monitor: 1080p 240hz w/ G-sync Here is result, Solution I've tried and me running out of idea of what's to fix. In Valorant I've got on average 120 fps on everything on low with frame occasional frame drop to around 50 fps. For CSGO on everything on low I also got around 180 fps on average, Apex legend I've got around 100 fps. Every game with V-sync off. Window lasted version, Newest Nvidia driver and AMD Chipset firmware installed. When I check with Task Manager, MSI Afterburner, Zotac GPU software all of these software reported around 30-50% usage on CPU and 20-50% utilization on GPU only. I tried set Power option to Maximum, Ultimate power and it helps a bit. I tried swapping GPU to another computer with Ryzen 3 4350 and the problem is still here. This 2 PC run on Window home installed from the same thumbstick and logged in to the same account. Even with Aorus 1080ti, this computer refuse to utilize both GPU and CPU to it's potential and fps is almost the same as 1070ti in every game. I know that this card can run better than this because this Zotac 1070ti used to be paired with Intel i5 8600 and every game I've mentioned above run smoother with higher fps on 1440p than the current setup with 1080p. I can only force GPU and CPU to run above 80% in Benchmark and mining (I don't mine, I just wanted to see if the PSU limits the available power and maybe that's why it can't run at 100%) Have I done something wrong during a window installation process? Are there any setting I must change? Please, I have reinstall window on 4350 one once already and it improved nothing. I have no idea what's to change anymore. If you need any information please, I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you. Ake-danai P.S. English is not my first language. Sorry for my poor English.

So my games have been getting very low fps on my RTX 3080 FTW with the games being run on one of my 3 monitors in 1080p (in game). I have a triple monitor setup with each monitor being 27in 1440p monitor with 144hz refresh rate. The specs for my computer are below: CPU: Ryzen 7 3800x Motherboard: ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming x570-plus Memory: 32GB (3200mhz) GSkill Trident Z Royalz Games are on Samsung Evo SSD Windows on separate SSD Graphics: RTX 3080 FTW Power supply: Corsair AX760 80+ Platinum Games i have been playing with low fps include: Destiny Call of Duty Warzone I have tried closing all windows and other programs and still get fps from 80-145fps in both of those games when in game. If anyone can help i would be very grateful. Thank you.

PC specs are: Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB DDR4-3200, and RTX 3060 Ti. The game runs just fine without shaders and I can get somewhere around 150-200 fps. With shaders like BSL and SEUS Renewed and I average around 40-60 fps. Does that number seem low or is it performing as it should? Render distance is set to 8 chunks, and FOV is set to 100. Minecraft version 1.17.1, I have OptiFine installed. The game is running at 1920x1080. Latest NVIDIA driver installed, latest BIOS update installed. I've included screenshots with multiple shaders: SEUS Renewed, BSL, Continuum, and Sildur's Vibrant (Medium).

When I go in game on my 1660 and 2600 my game runs at 6 fps. I opened msi afterburner and check and the utilization hover between 0-1% for both. I've tried resetting msi afterburner, installing new chipset drivers, graphics drivers, and checked the task manager to see if there is something I'm not seeing. My games never crash even now and nothing out of the ordinary happens besides this low fps and utilization and this only happens when there is a load like blender or a game, even the title screen of Minecraft is 6 fps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a great day unlike me... I have bought my new rig in 2020 around September. and ever since I bought it . everything I got was below expectations across the board. I've tried to ignore it for a while but it keeps annoying me and I've been trying to fix this for a while now. so my specs are: AMD 7 3700X Gigabyte x570 Gaming X Motherboard Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super 3x Windforce OC 32GB 2666 Mhz Corsair Vengeance XPG Gammix Pro 11 NVME 1TB Corsair 750W PSU Gold I thought if I got this machine it would be the ultimate gaming machine for years to come. and I wouldn't have to worry about optimizing the performance and having a bottleneck anywhere. but to my surprise the performance increase from my last rig was not at all what I expected. I've tried playing many games to test out my FPS but to no avail. Call of Duty Modern Warfare , Warzone , Black Ops Cold War. even older simpler games such as Valorant and League of Legends. I am not getting much fps and here is a key thing. 0 ! FPS increase when I lower the settings. when I lower my settings on any game it feels as though it had no effect. no change whatsoever and its killing me to know why. I've updated all my GPU drivers , APU , CPU , Bios and enabled XMP profile in Bios. I've tried configuring PCIE gen in bios to 3 or 4 and nothing worked. seems like my GPU and CPU are all low usage or sometimes higher than usual which is about 50-60% but still the fps and the fluctuation between FPS is very noticable. I wouldn't mind playing on all low settings if I had consistent high frames but I don't. If you guys have any ideas please do share it with me. I am really tired and met a dead end. I've used up all my knowledge and cannot find a solution. Thank you in advance.

I have posted about this problem I've been having with my pc before, where I start a game and it runs just fine for about 10-20 minutes and then theres intense fps spikes and lag that got fixed only if I shut down the pc and turnt it back on, it looped like this. I was not sure what to do so I messed around with some settings but nothing seemed to work. I decided to check my afterburner and see what was happening during these fps spikes and noticed low gpu usage and I'm not sure how to fix it. Thanks in advance for anyone replying to the post, this has been pretty frustrating so any help is great! Specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/TowersFlowers/saved/9KDDcf I know looking at the whole spec list is boring so I have an i7 8700k CPU and a 1080ti GPU, they've never had thermal issues since I swapped the old gpu cooler for a new one, max temps reach 72C with a throttle temp of 84C. CPU stays nice and cool too with a corsair AIO.

I have i7 8700K, 32gb Ram 3000mhz, and recently purchased RTX 3080 Ti, with 850w psu and 1080p 144hz monitor, I know that 1080p monitor is a bottleneck for such gpu. (I will purchase 2K or 4K monitor when I finish moving to new house) In Rust at 1080p I'm getting 20% - 35% GPU usage & 40% - 60% CPU usage as well as random frametime spikes, when I use DSR to get 2K resolution, GPU usage goes up to 40% - 60% and the game still stutters with random FPS swings from 50 to 80. When I'm at the beach, I get over 125+ FPS. GTA 5 also loads GPU around 40% at 1080p with really low fps around 50 - 67 in Online. Cyberpunk also never loads GPU more than 60% at 1080p ultra setting with RTX on. The only time I've seen GPU being used to 80% was at 4K in Rust. I have never had any stutters with my old GPU (I had good old 1060), and I've tried uninstalling GPU drivers with UUD, but that did absolutely nothing with my issue Benchmarks like FurMark loads GPU to 99% without any problems & the temps stays at 70c The only thing I haven't tried yet is clean windows install.

Recently got a gpu and can't figure out why I can't get any higher than 59 FPS. I've seen a rx580 get 80 fps. I'm new to building a pc so I'm stumped on how to get more fps. Do I need to overclock? Hi ! I need some Linus Sex Tips here. First and foremost, sorry for my terrible English. I just bought the EVGA 3080 FTW3 ULTRA (LHR of course), I did a clean install of Windows 10, installed the drivers and stuff. All good no problem, but then, I launched Battlefield V (ULTRA 1080p with RTX at first) and had something like less than 40 fps with huge freezes. I then removed RTX and had the same issue, less than 60 fps with huge freezes and drops. Then, I tried it on GTA V Ultra, same problem, 40 fps where I should have more than that ? I have tried the card on my brother's computer, but the drivers were not working (not a compatible windows version ?). We checked and it was a compatible one. With that, all the USB's began to act weirdly (mouse not working, keyboard disconnecting). The backplate is quite hot at idle and so does the GDDR6 (72°C). But the card isn't that hot (60°C idle). What's weird is that 3DMARK does work and I have a pretty decent score (I think ?). Same with other bench, but not in game ? Could you help me ? Thank you very much, Florian. Hello everyone, I am new to this forum so if I should look elsewhere for this information let me know! The issue that I am having is that my 3080 FE is severely underperforming in most games. I have looked over just about every forum related to the topic and got very little help. I have done a number of things I have found in them as well as in Youtube videos and the problem is still persisting. The main game that I am trying to fix at the moment is Fortnite. I am running at 1440p (DLSS Performance) Epic for all settings (I have turned this to low for all and there was less than a 10 fps gain). I have RTX off and with all that I am getting 70-130 fps and it's jumping wildly between them. My GPU usage never tops about 30% and my CPU stays around 80%. I know for sure that something is up because my buddy has an Acer Predator Helios 300 with a 9th gen i7 and a 2060 and an external 1440p 144hz monitor and it getting consistently over 144hz. If you have any suggestions for me I would be so grateful. Some of the things I have done include: - Updating my bios - Updating my Graphics drivers - Setting windows to performance mode in multiple different places - Turned on windows game mode - Turning off G-Sync - Turning off Nvidia Reflex - Turning off all but my main monitor - Downloaded afterburner and checked my temps which sit in the mid 70s - Undervolted my card - Downloaded GPU-Z and made sure I was using PCIE x16 gen 3 - Turned on low latency mode in Nvidia control panel - and probably some more that I have forgotten about My hardware is: MSI Tomahawk b450 max Ryzen 3700x EVGA dual 240mm AIO RTX 3080 T-Force 2400mz 16gb (I plan to upgrade this soon, but haven't gotten around to it and hope it isn't the problem. 750 gold corsair PSU EVGA DG-77 with the front glass removed for better airflow Acer 1440p 144hz g-sync monitor(I forget the model)

During playing games specially dota 2 my games are stuttering. I don't know the reason. My fps are really low. My specs are: Xeon e3 1270 v3 Gigabyte H81 motherboard 16 GB RAM (2*8) 2666Hz AMD R9 280x my fps fall to 25 30 and go max at 45 50 and the weird thing for me is even though I decrease the quality to the lowest setting it doesn't change a thing. Same FPS same Stuttering. I thought maybe my cpu is heating up and it was a little bit . So I changed my cooler to a better one from intel stock cooler. Now my temps stay between 50 to 60 C nothing is utilized fully. So I have no idea what to do?

For the last couple months nearly half my matches of Warzone have been having frame issues. A normal game will give me around 100-110 frames with the RTX 2070 Super GPU and the AMD Ryzen 3600 CPU. However, sometimes the frame rate will drop to below 70, sometimes down to 40-50 for the entire length of a match and then continue giving bad frame rates like that until I reset call of duty warzone client. This problem is very frustrating for me especially since I bought all the components and built the computer less than a year ago in October 2020. The problem does not seem to be an issue in Apex legends or any other games. I have tried changing every in game setting, Nvidia control panel settings, I could try uninstalling and redownloading the game but I did that a couple weeks ago to no avail. If anyone here has some tech tips would greatly appreciate it. I am a pretty avid gamer and this is ruining my favourite hobby!!

I have an Asus F570zd laptop, with a Ryzen 5 2500u cpu and GTX 1050 4GB gpu, and 8 GB single channel RAM. My cpu, gpu, bios and windows is up-to-date. Whenever I play valorant, I get sub-par FPS for my setup as I get 70-100 fluctuating fps on lowest settings, 720p. It's the same for 1080p as well. I've observed that my cpu core clocks/threads keep fluctuating dramatically between 1.5 GHz and 3 GHz. I even get frequent stutters, and I've noticed (using msi afterburner + rtss) that whenever my game hangs my gpu usage goes to 0%. The stutters are also more frequent during the beginning of each match. My iGPU and dGPU both reach 70 degrees tops while gaming, and CPU reaches 78-81 degrees tops. When I play It Takes Two, the cpu has no problem at least keeping and maintaining clock speeds around and above 2.2 GHz at all times while even reaching 86-87 degrees. I've also reinstalled valorant twice but no effect. Changing power plans between Ultimate performance, bitsum highest performance and ryzen balanced didn't make much of a difference. Any help? Thanks.

Hello! So lately this issue happened suddenly where, regardless of the games I play, the GPU gets stuck at 100% of usage and the CPU lays around 10% of usage. I get consistently 8-10fps regardless of the game and regardless of the quality settings. I have a ROG Strix Scar II laptop Stuff I have done so far: -Nvidia settings always set to the highest performance -rolled back nvidia drivers to old versions (457.51) -reinstalled Windows -used DDU method -rolled back windows build version (latest at this moment) to the 1909 version and now back again to version 20H2 -when I rolled to the 1909 version I repeated the first step on the nvidia drivers -opened my computer to see if everything was fine, everything is clean, no dust, no temps issues at all I noticed that different Nvidia drivers changes slightly the gpu's behaviour. It used to be stuck in power perf mode always and now with the latest driver changes between pwr perf and utilization perf, yet when I start gaming always goes back to pwr perf mode (139MHz) Nvidia 457.51 driver gpu behaviour: https://imgur.com/a/pF0XURp Latest Nvidia driver gpu behaviour (466.47): https://imgur.com/a/SXkLwdj FurMark benchmark: https://gpuscore.top/furmark/show.php?id=349128 And still couldn't fix my issue and I am running out of ideas.
