So, My liquid cooling had nearly zero noise, ofc I was normally using a headset and or had some type of back ground noise. Recently I noticed this sound happening near the end of the video you hear it really well. I was just wonding is that normal or is this breaking. Some people said I need to replace it just want to make sure first. Also just 5 minutes ago, My pc randomly started to freeze and get really slow. I rebooted and now it's working fine, not sure if the cpu caused that or?

Hello guys, I have a Gigabyte R9 290X Windforce gpu and it's really really hot. Bought it of with 200$ from my country and it's brand new, It was a clearance sale and they're gonna replace it with the RX 480 if anything happens to the gpu. Now, my point is that, which gpu liquid cooling solution will be the best cheap method for the non-reference R9 290X. It hits 45c on idle and 90 on full load. My case is optimized with Cooler Master Case fans, (JetFlo, SIckleFo, XtraFlo), and have them mounted on all 5 slots and I use a core I7 4770 with a Hyper 414S. My casing is a bit stupid, Thermaltake MId tower casing but it's not that bad either. Are water coolers effective on the 290x ? I live in a tropical country where the sun is always scorching hot. And i'll buy the cooling solution from Amazon so please give me the links as well. Thanks a lot !

Good morning I apologize if my questions are answered in other threads, I did manage to find from a few threads that apparently cleaning the wet PCB's with the purest rubbing alcohol I can find may help, so I did use the search function before posting. Short Version, Brand new Swiftech H220 X2 reservoir cracked and leaked all over my motherboard, both R9 290x's and my PSU and sound card, want to know if the coolant will permanently damage the aforementioned components or will I be ok? Longer version Bought a Swiftech H220 x2 two weeks ago from newegg.ca, Got here Friday and I hooked it up but left it outside the system for a night to run and make sure it had no leaks overnight. Saturday morning there was not a drop on the paper towels I had under it and I thought victory was mine and it would be safe to install into my PC. I followed directions and carefully installed the new cooler lovingly and everything seemed fine from Saturday afternoon until today, Thursday at 1030am. I got off night shift late and was hoping to play some Star Citizen when I noticed to my horror the desk had a pool of liquid under my PC. I immediately powered off the system, glancing up at the cooler before I turned it off and noticed to my horror, the pump was cavitating, and the reservoir had a very noticeable and apparent crack that was not there the day before. About half of the coolant in the loop had leaked out over my motherboard, video cards, sound card, PSU, and cables. I removed the cooler, cards, and anything wet and placed it all on paper towels to dry. I have read in these forums that rubbing alcohol should help with the coolant on PCBs, but I am wondering... Is it likely that the components are salvageable? Has anyone had experience dealing with a swiftech RMA and will they cover damaged components if it was a manufacturing defect? I took pictures of the cooler when it arrived and when I installed it. There was no visible crack or damage, or at least nothing obvious to the naked eye when I installed it. There was no dropping or bumping of the cooler when it was installed. I cant figure out why it cracked like this. My PC was not bumped or moved or knocked over. And I did not excessively tighten the screws on the fans when mounting so I do not think I would of warped or bent the radiator adding pressure to the reservoir. Worth mentioning, did not add any dye or fiddle with the pump, reservoir or anything at all, Except I changed the fans from Push to Pull, using the H220x2 to exhaust air up and out of the case. it was a vanilla install. I intended to add an additional 120mm radiator in a push/pull eventually. (I have an FX-9590, please, no space heater jokes... I wish I had stuck with my 8350...)

Im planning on liquid cooling my i7 5820k and my gtx 980 Ti, only problem is my gpu is a EVGA GTX 980 Ti VR eddition. basically it has a hdmi port at the front of the card for easier acess. Link to card below. http://au.evga.com/articles/00981/evga-geforce-gtx-980-ti-vr-edition/ Just asking if this will be an issue or if there is a water block that works for this card. primarily looking to use EK parts. thanks for in advance

1. Budget & Location So far I have purchased everything but my Case and Liquid Cooling AIC. I do not know enough about custom liquid builds to take on that adventure. Corpus Christi, Texas I have purchased EVGA Z170 Classified K , Intel i5-6600K, G. Skill Trident Z DDR4 3400, I have 2 ssd's, and 1 3.5" HD, 1 CD drive, EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1070 2. Aim Gaming, Gaming, Gaming, 4K, MMO games, FPS 3. Monitors 1 32" Monitor will be upgrading it to 4K in time 4. Peripherals No help here, have everything already bought and its been used 5. Why are you upgrading? My old PC is AMD and is not running smoothly. After changing the video card it got much worse and I would like to upgrade and be more seemless.

I was wondering if there are any aftermarket coolers for a reference RX 480, it could be liquid cooling or air. I don't want an ugly ghetto hybrid cooler and it must go with my red and black theme.

So, I just watched the new "Which video card to buy Late 2016" episode on Vessel. And this gave me an idea for what could be interesting content. Premise: What does it take to make a CPU fail? (And how much can you get from them at the absolute limit) Actual content: Through either stock in CPU's in LMG or by procuring them otherwise, a logical, organized (spreadsheets?) bench test of many of the popular CPU's dating back to say LGA775 or so and push them as hard as possible under normal conditions (meaning, water cooling but no exotic stuff like Liquid Nitrogen). Start with basic overclocking. Look for the thermal limits with voltage and multiplier, then once those are established try to make the CPU fail by either removing the heat management incrementally, or by pushing voltages far beyond reasonable for the given CPU. The idea is to show how much abuse these things can take, and to also show that benchmarks can give you a number, but the real-world robust-ness of a CPU package compared from generation to generation. No I don't expect the most current CPU's to be destroyed, because that would be expensive unless Intel and AMD were willing to allow it. And yes, I know this would be a long-term setup, or multi-part series. And it would be highly complicated. Kind of like a video version (highly simplified) of Passmark's CPU benchmarks, but pushing past those levels. Basically it would be like dyno-testing a car engine until it fails (or explodes). It's fun, shows weaknesses, and can provide useful data to improve later versions.

Hello all, sorry if this is a common question, but as the title states I'm having a bit of trouble with the led on my H100i. I've had it for a couple of years now and have never used link, but also never had trouble with the LED (it's been white the entire time I've owned it). For some reason though it's turned pink today. I've seen a number of explanations about changing the light settings in link, but the cooler won't show up anywhere. The only cable I have plugged into this thing is the CPU fan connector. Here's what my pages look like in link. No devices show up.

I've gotten my H100i to respond to corsair link now, but the only issue is that white and green color settings immediately turn pink. What's strange is that on startup, the block led is white, but then turns to whatever color I had set (it happened to be red before). In corsair link however, when I tried to change the red to white or green, it just became pink (if white) or a slightly darker pink (if green). Any clue what's going on here?

Hi, I usually don't come here for help but I'm seriously stumped. My PC keeps shutting off due to what i presume is a heat issue, because every other time I've encountered this problem it has been such. It'll shut off whenever the system is stressed, further suggesting heat issues. I've checked heat values under stress, and things are looking okay. I haven't been able to check psu temperatures. This is worrysome because it would make sense that it would overheat while components demand more power, no? Anyways, I'll likely post this in multiple threads because it's not strictly air cooling problems. Any and all help is much appreciated! Thanks! -David AMD FX-6300 (Corsair H60 cooling) Msi gtx 1070 (I know it's bottlenecked but I'm broke) 16 gb gskill ripjaws 750W EVGA platinum psu

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/hydro-series-h100i-extreme-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler I want to put this dual rad in my Corsair Air 740 case, I know It'll fit but what kind of temp difference is there between (like having it pre built/filled) that and a custom water cooling job (like buying the parts seprately and just DIY)? So basically I'm just asking which is better for the temps and money.

Hi, I'm shopping around for brackets to mount something like an h100 externally. I have the corsair 200r case and you can't fit any decent size rad in it. If I do choose to mount my radiator externally, I want to mount it on top of the PC, and I want some sort of enclosure that protects the rad from damage but allows airflow of course. I've seen all in one external rads with enclosures but they're expensive as hell and come with an AIO inside. I don't want that. Anyone find anything that sounds like this?

Which is the best cooler master cooler for i5 8600k processor. I usually run at stock or light over clocking. Sometimes I might over clock at max. Which is better for my PC air cooler or liquid cooler. My budget is around 100-120$. Which cooler master air cooler or water cooler should I buy.

I am considering getting a couple servers and keeping them in my room. I know that servers are normally loud so i was cooling to water cool it. I also didn't want to put out more heat into my room so i had the idea to use a phase change cooler to cool the coolant (probably antifreeze) but would the temps affect acrylic or glass and is there anything else that would be wrong with this.

Hi! So I have an custom loop system cooling only my CPU in my Rig right now. I decided to go ahead and add an AIO just to have a second radiator, add some flare and fun, and to liquid cool my GPU using the handy Kraken G12 shroud. That's beside the point. I opened up my Kraken X62 and all of the components are awesome, except when I turned the radiator around to inspect it I heard a bit of a slosh. I was under the assumption that AIOs were 100% filled with liquid, as a custom loop would be. I'm unfamiliar with AIOs... so is this common, or am I being a little too paranoid with my computer parts?

Hi, I'm trying to build an immersion cooling system, cooling a dielectric immersion tank using a 6mm custom copper coil. I am using john guest style 1/4" to 6mm (Outer Diameter) for the coil itself, but I want to use clear PETG for the the external parts of the cooling loop like from the coil to the reservoir/pump and to the radiator. I can only seem to find 10 or 12mm PETG and silicon inserts for bending. Any suppliers of 6mm (OD) PETG piping? Also, is there a reason why people use such think piping for liquid cooling generally? Hello, when I tried to start my computer today it stopped me at the American Megatrends site and I get past the Bios. I did some research and I got a clue but nothing really helped. In the Bios it says CPU FAN N/A and when I try to configure it (to full speed) it doesn't change. The Radiator Fans just go from normal to full speed (no matter the configuration) but the CPU heats up from 40 to over 70°C. It seems as if the pump gave up on life. The PC is brand new, I bought and built everything in August. Should I just send the water cooler back or is this just a easy fix error? I built it as said in the manual and yesterday everything worked fine. I also checked if everything is still plugged in properly and it was. Also as you can see in the attached pictures it registers my RAM as 2133MHz even though I installed 3000MHz modules. Just noticed it taking the pictures I've built lots of computers before, liquid and water cooled and never encountered this problem. Please help.

Hi guys.. I made a PC yesterday and i’m having a problem with cpu temps. pc spec: strix z270e motherboard intel i7-7700k gskill trident z rgb 2x8gb 3200mhz cl16 strix gtx 1060 6gb corsair h100i v2 cpu cooler When i first booted up the system i went directly to update the bios updates. After that inatalled windows 10 and all drivers for mb, gpu and cpu. The cpu had turbo boost activated and was running at 4.5ghz. I saw the idling temps of 36 celsius and i tought it was because of the turbo boost.. the problem was and still is that they are fluctuating a lot.. they jump from 36 to 44 , 54 also even if i only move the mouse.. after turning turbo boost off, I thought a this would settle, but no.. everything is the same. I reapplied thermal paste, assured everything was tight and still the same.. im thinking the motherboard sensor is broken.. i also tried running real bech stress test but it wouldn’t start because “error at gathering system information”. Note the water temp in the cooler tab . please help thank you! -
Hello! I am having problems with my AIO cooler. The AIO liquid cooler is a Corsair H105 cooler. I currently have it hooked up to my GTX 1080ti FE with a kraken G12 mount.it has worked for a couple of days after it was mounted but yesterday when NZXT CAM was opened on windows startup, I saw that the cooler reached around 70c. Seeing this I knew it was a problem with the cooler, I immediately disconnected and unplugged the computer, took a look at the AIO connection into the motherboard header, made sure for leaks and the usual troubleshoot stuff and nothing was wrong. I connected the computer back, went into the bios and saw that the pump was fully operational. I booted it up and it was perfectly fine with the gpu idling at its usual 23c. Played a few games monitoring the temps and all was fine. I rebooted the computer because of issues with my microphone in in-game chat, and when I booted it up I saw the same problem. The gpu temp shot up to 78c, and so I immediately rebooted and went into bios to check if the pump was running. This time, instead of the pump usually operating at 1600-1800 rpm, the rpm was around 8000! Faster than I've seen anything operate. I opened my computer, disconnected the pump and removed everything from my gpu. I put new thermal paste, put new screws and secured everything once again to make sure that it wasn't due to the pump not making contact with the gpu, and booted it up and the problems went away again. This time I rebooted and tried everything to make the problem come back to see if I'd truly fixed it (rebooted, played a few games, even recreated the microphone error) and still the problem didn't happen again. So I thought all was well, that is until I booted it up today and saw the same problem. I am lost of what to do and what it can be. It is under warranty but I don't want to RMA it unless I absolutely have to because I just got a few games and would love to play them already. Is there any solution you guys can help me with? Thank you.
