Greetings people. I'm in need of some headset recommendations as my good ol' g430 years have finally caught up. I can't hear any sounds in the left-side of it unless I put the wire in a certain position. Can't complain though, it has been with me three years and went through some good falls. Amazing sound quality and all. Therefore, I need a new headset. I could technically get the same one ( G433 since the G430 isn't on amazon anymore and I presume they're almost identical, maybe just a slightly updated version ). But I'd like to check the other options as well since there are probably better ones nowadays. The price range I'm looking at would be under 85€ if possible. I don't want to spend more because I've got only two kidneys. 50€ would be the perfect price, but I don't mind if I have to go slightly higher. Worth mentioning that I don't have a DAC / AMP setup, so keep it in mind. The headset I'm looking for has to have a microphone ( a decent one ), as I don't have a standalone one, and the best audio quality possible ( for its price of course ). Apart from playing videogames, I also enjoy listening to music so I'd like something decent for that as well. It should be something like the G430 in terms of quality since I'm happy with it. I was looking around for some options and I've come across a few of 'em: - Logitech G Pro X. - Razer Kraken X. - Corsair HS35. - Fnatic React. - G433 ( this would be the last but also best option, since I know its quality and wouldn't be let down ). Let me know about the ones I've mentioned. Other suggestions are appreciated, but keep in mind that I'm from Italy ( and I use amazon, I don't really want to use anything else ), so some options might be either unavailable or more expensive.

I just got myself the Arctis Pro Wireless and was very exited after looking at a bunch of reviews and tests. When I plugged it all inn and started testing it out I noticed alot of problems with the base station. Normally the wheel in front of the box is suppose to scroll trough the menu and clicking the wheel will go into the menu. But mine instead goes into a menu when scrolling, making it impossible to actually go into the different setting. I also started reading up on it and found noone with similar problems. Am I doing it wrong? or is it just broken. Also found out there is tons of other problems with this base station after reading a bunch of complaints. Anyone got experience with this headset that could tell me if im either doing something wrong or if I should just issue a refund.

I'm not sure how to properly explain my situation so I'm gonna do the best I can so please bare with me. So my current setup is I have 2 pcs and a mic connected to a mixer ( Yamaha Mg10XU ) which feeds out to a pair of speakers and my headphones, I'm currently using a pair of wireless artic 7s but its plug into the mixer via the wire, my microphone comes out the mixer via the fx send which goes into a splitter that runs into both pcs through the line in, this is so I have a mic that I can have my stream hear, discord, and it can be used for in game chat on the gaming pc. With everything setup like this it works perfectly I can hear both pc and there is no side tone so I don't hear myself when I talk just the audio from both the computers and its crystal clear. With that being said I recently purchased a new pair of Astro A50s with the base station for PlayStation (Not sure if the console matters) but I just wanted to get a new pair since my other headsets were starting to feel old. My first issue was I needed to figure out how I was going to connect the headset into the mixer while keeping the wireless capabilities of the headsets I didn't want to be connected to a wire anymore. The Astro a50 base station needs to be connected to my pc for power and to get audio. Since I didn't want the audio to come from just the one pc it was connected to I used the Mixers output and plugged it into the Aux port on the Astro Base station. Well that worked I was able to hear everything form the mixer, the issue came when I noticed there was ALOT of static and for some reason I was getting like a side tone effect. I did some research and figured I needed to buy a ground loop isolator to get rid of the static. Once it Came in I plugged it in and it worked no more static, but that side tone effect was still there I was able to hear everything from my microphone like the Gain was turned up a lot ( The gain on the mixer is off) Now the current issue at hand is how do I get rid of that effect I tried messing around with how the cabling is routed but nothing seems to work any work around I think I find seems to make the problem worse or end up making some crazy echo. I am definitely keeping these headsets cause in the end if I cant fix the issue ill deal with the problem but I would LOVE if I could not hear myself . if I didn't explain anything properly just let me know and ill try better to explain it I know this is a jumbled mess, just if you know anything I can do please help me out and I can show pictures if necessary

I LOVE the ear shape and large size ear cups that are the Logitech G230 but I've already broke 2 of them because they break in randopm areas like clock work every 13-18 months. Is their a headset with ear cups that 100% surrounds the ears is a decent performer is wired and is under $70?? Please ask me anything If my words failed as they often do. thanks for your time.

So I got myself some Speakers from Presonus the ERIS E3.5 recently. Windows sees my Razer Blackshark V2X as my Speakers and my Presonus Speakers don't work. I connect my Headset over the Motherboard IO, Headset is connected via Mic and Line Out, I think the speakers are supposed to be connected via Rear but I don't know if that is the case. Is there any possibility to connect my Headset and Speakers at the same time and switch between them through Windows? The Motherboard I use is the B550 Aourus Elite (rev. 1.0), Audio Outputs are Mic, Line Out, Line In, Rear , C/Sub and Toslink.

I recently bought a Steelseries Arctis 5 headset (it just arrived an hour ago from Amazon), and I can hear crackling and popping noises while listening to music. I’ve updated audio drivers, tried troubleshooting in ‘Sounds’, and also changed power saving mode into high performance. Also plugged it onto every USB port possible, but still the problem didn’t go away. I have a Razer kraken headset where the mic was no longer working, but audio is still perfectly fine. I plugged that back onto the USB port of my PC, and no problems whatsoever. On the other hand, I’ve plugged in the Arctis 5 onto a different computer as well as on a tablet, and audio sounded perfectly clear as well. Perhaps it’s the USB port’s problem, but I’m confused as to why my Razer one sounded okay when it was plugged in? Maybe they’re just not compatible with one another? I’m thinking of returning my headset, but if it’s my PC’s problem, I don’t want to have to return a great headset. Anyways, any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have support for both DTS:X Ultra and DTS Headphone:X on my laptop but I have no idea which does exactly what. I am curious which one is more optimal for gaming (FPS games mostly) and for music or it is all more or less same together with Windows Sonic for Headphones. Known facts: both have an option to choose specific model of device (headphones, speakers,...) DTS:X Ultra has more features and options within dedicated app (only obtainable via link in myAsus that opens Microsoft Store) DTS Headphone:X is configured via DTS Sound Unbound but besides choosing specific device the only option is Spatial mode: Balanced or Spacious There is slight difference in depth of sound when switching between them - DTS Headphone:X sounds more deeper and bassier I found a video on Techquickie channel "What are Dolby Atmos and DTS:X?" from 3 years ago but even though it explains the technology doesn't answer the question - What is difference between DTS:X and DTS Headphone:X and which one is better for headphone use? Any explanation and advice is very welcomed.

ive been looking around at different headsets for gaming, my current one is wired but old and falling apart... so i think its time for a new one. i would like a wireless one but i dont know if Bluetooth or 2.4 wireless is better. ive read the latency is higher on the bluetooth but is it really that noticeable? right now im between the HyperXCloud II Wireless, VIRTUOSO Special Edition RGB Wireless, RazerOpus Bluetooth Wireless, Logitech G PRO X Wireless Lightspeed, SteelSeries Arctis 7 (2019 Edition). my price limit is about 400 Canadian rubles although willing to go like $10 more or so if needed. should i choose one of those or should i get another better headset i dont know about?

My headset's plastic/skin/leather whatever it is started peeling off, sometimes leaving black bits around my ears, had to do something about it. This feels wrong, but it works. I'd buy new headphones as these ones are on the edge of dying, but saving for a monitor first. Headphones in the picture are Redragon Ares H120. Could this have some bad results?

So I have the Razer Kraken headset, and one thing I noticed is that for some reason the mic records my pc audio I guess? People on discord and in valorant parties have told me they can hear my game really badly and I just tried checking with audio recording on windows, I played a video on the background on multiple volumes and the mic still picked it up pretty clearly, exactly in the volume that I had it set. Ive tried everything I googled, but nothing seems to work. I also tried plugging it both in the back and the front. I have seperate jacks on my headset, one red and one green. One thing though, my pc does recognize my headset as speakers which I dont know how to fix. It says "speakers (realtek audio)". I dont really know how to fix that, the first audio device I plugged into the green jack WERE my speakers, but if that is why it recognizes it as speakers, I still dont know how to fix it. My razer synapse app also detects my keyboard but doesnt recognize my headset. I dont know if any of this will be of help to finding the issue, but Id be really happy if someone could help. Its really bothering me. I can attach an audio recording of how it picks up the sound from my pc. Recording (18).m4a

I just got my MH751 delivered to me 2 days ago and i was disappointed with the audio quality. I don't know if it has to do with my motherboard (h110m ds2-cf) being cheap or what but the earphone that i bought has the same audio quality of the headset for $7. As for comfort, it's great, i can barely feel it and i think i can wear it for a long gaming session. But other than that? I'm disappointed. I bought a $5 sound card as a replacement of mh752 sound card and see if that changes anything.

I use my 3.5 mm JBL earphones on my PC with a splitter (one female to two males). While playing Warzone, my microphone just stopped working. More precisely, it started producing such a low sound that it couldn't be picked up by my teammates, I say that because I opened audacity, I increased the bass level in the settings and my voice could be heard just a tiny bit louder (and yes, the microphone level is at 100%). I tried different 3.5 mm earphones, nothing. I tried a different splitter, again nothing. Furthermore, I tried switching between the back (motherboard) and front (case) ports, still nothing. Also, my earphones work perfectly on my PS4 and on my phone. What in the world happened? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, I’m using an Beyerdynamic MMX300 headset combined with an fiio k5 pro. Since I would like to use the integrated mic. I have to use the split cable. The problem is that when I use the splitter (k5 + motherboard mic. In) I get a lot of mic distortion. (Noise and Bad mic quality). So my question is: is there any way to eliminate the noise or an external usb mic in option? thank you for your help

Hi I am currently looking for a wireless headset with the following specs ordered in importance. 1. Wirless 2. Bluetooth 2a. Sound 3. USB - C 4. ANC 5. Retractable or Removable Mic Sadly I couldn't find any Headset which ticks of all points. I am willing to pay up to 250€. I would like a headset which I can also use as normal earphones. Or would it be better to get just good bluetooth earphones and then somehow and additional microphone? I currently had my view at HyperX Mix, Arctis 9X or JBL Quantum 800. Do you have other suggestions? Or which of the 3 would you choose? Greetings Losspost

My computer audio will sometimes randomly make a faint cracking/popping/peaking sound while it is on. It is very inconsistent and I am sure others would barely notice it if they got on my computer but to me it is very prominent and annoying. While I am watching youtube, playing games, in a discord, or whatever, a very faint cracking sound in the audio will happen then it will go back to normal. I also noticed while changing the volume on different websites such as twitch and youtube there will be a consistent crack when the volume is changed and the volume knob is slid up and down. It is most prominent with the windows volume overall. I am unsure if this is a part of the problem or just something that has happened and I have never noticed it. It began when I first plugged in a new headset on the back audio jacks (mic in/line in). I was testing the quality of said headset and went back to compare it to my old one. This is when I first noticed the very faint cracking sound inconsistently while my friends in discord were talking. Then, with the old headset on, I played Warzone with them and noticed the cracking sound even more and even noticed that loud sounds (car music, jets flying overhead, a nearby contract beeping) would sound like they were peaking my headset. It got very annoying very fast and went on a hunting spree to try and fix it. Preface: - 64 Bit Windows - Did not happen (or did not notice) until new headset was plugged in 3/17 - Original audio drivers when old headset was in use: AMD High Definition Audio, High Definition Audio (Devices) - It is VERY inconsistent, and annoying. Could not reliably recreate it in games, but could, however; recreate it by replaying certain parts of videos (this may just be part of said videos) - Mic sounds the same - Don't remember my exact bit rate and sample rate I used with my old headset - The crack/pop isn't very loud, could almost be described as a small skip/break in the audio Things I have Done: - Tried reinstalling audio drivers - Tried changing audio drivers to Realtek High Definition Audio (Via updating [Realtek] back to High Definition Audio) - Tried using 5 different headsets to test if the problems still persisted - Tried using 5 different connectors/splitters to connect the headsets to the computer - Changed to almost all sample rates and bit rates for all the headset speakers - Tried most enhancements both Realtek and regular High Definition Audio - Disabled and enabled exclusive mode for each headset - Tried turning down volume - Tried turning up volume - Shutting down computer - Restarting computer - Turning on computer with no sound drivers available, then enabled them - Tested front and back 3.5mm jacks - Tried using a G432 jack to USB connector (Variety of results from this) - Tried only having the headphones jack connected while leaving the mic unconnected - Tried ditching the 1 to 2 jack splitter (splits one jack to have a mic in / line in) and plugged the headset itself into the line/audio in (front and back) - Tried using my monitor's speakers (They are quiet but the problem doesn't seem to happen there) - Listened to a long consistent pitch through my headset but couldn't consistently notice if the crack/pop was happening - Checked the jacks to make sure they didn't look damaged or loose - Uninstalled Discord to see if it was just a discord problem Things I Haven't Done: - Using an actual USB headset (I'd have to buy one) - Fully wiped all my files and apps - Using a Bluetooth headset - Fresh Windows Restart - Attempt to record the crack/pop/skip/break Weird Notes: - When a headset is plugged into the front or back line in jacks on my computer, and Realtek High Definition Audio is being used, the volume cracking sound is prominent ON BOTH JACKS when sliding the windows volume up and down. - When a headset is plugged into the line in jacks on my computer, and High Definition Audio Device is being used, the cracking sound is prominent ONLY ON THE BACK JACK when sliding the windows volume up and down. - With that said, whether High Definition Audio Device or Realtek High Definition Audio is being used, the inconsistent, may or may not be correlated random cracking sound while playing games and at a fixed volume is STILL PRESENT. - Front Mic In jack has never worked and creates a loud screeching sound in my mic Headsets Used: - HyperX Cloud Alpha Pro --- HEADSET THAT (POSSIBLY) CAUSED PROBLEM - TBI Imba Pro V8 --- ORIGINAL HEADSET - Logitech G432 - TBI Imba Pro V8 --- Used another one I found - Kotion Each Headset --- Unsure of Model Specs ASUS Rog Strix B550-F Gaming Wi-FI Gigabyte AMD 5700XT AMD Ryzen 3700X Vengeance Corsair Pro 2x8 16GB RAM Coolermaster H500 ARGB Samsung 970 NVME 1TB SSD EVGA 80+ Gold Certified 850 Watt PSU Conclusions - I could be crazy and this might all be in my head (I don't think this is) - Likely an audio driver problem I need help solving - Very faint cracking sound every once in awhile that is hard to recreate - Audio does however; crack consistently when volume sliders are moved up and down - The cracking sound doesn't just happen when loud sounds are being played, my friends could be talking in discord and it would crack/pop

I currently own an arctis pro (wired) & a sennheiser hd600 both have failed to give me surround sound audio, I've tried disabling windows enhancements in windows properties settings, I've tried plugging them into different ports, using an amplifier etc like people suggest and it still isn't working & my audio is just flat, I've also tried listening to YouTube videos that test your headphones for 7.1 surround sound and again there is no directional audio on either of the headsets. I'm looking to get a pair that actually works so I can properly hear footsteps etc. I'm currently looking at audeze mobius & hyperx orbit s. I'm just wondering if they are any good, I really don't want to spend any more money until I know for sure if they're going to actually work as intended. Edit: I fixed it, there's a setting in sounds that I didn't even know was enabled called "mono audio", not sure why anyone would want this.

Been on the search for a way to send my SM7B mic to my iPhone over Bluetooth so I can take calls without taking my CIEMs out and physically putting my Phone up to my head, and or switching to a Bluetooth headset. Essentially the device would need a mono input and a mono output (but it would be awesome if the output was stereo), where the input is sent back to the phone as if it were the input on a Bluetooth headset and the output was sent back to my interface / mixer so I could hear the calls at the very least. Would be most preferable if the device, like any headset, auto switched to headset mode so I could use the device as a standard Bluetooth adapter to listen to music and such until I take a call. Though I'm really not getting my hopes up on that last part. The only device I've been able to find with even a similar feature set is the JK Audio BlueDriver-M3, but there are some major caveats. The device was manufactured over a decade ago, uses Bluetooth 2.0, has a mono output, requires external power for continuous use despite using an XLR connection (why doesn't it convert phantom power??), has a physical switch for headset mode (my interface isn't at arms reach, it's in a rack 6 feet away under my desk), and costs $200. I'd think that someone out there would be making something like this that isn't 10 years old with Bluetooth 4.0 / 5.0, but I can't seem to find it. All it would need to be is a Bluetooth receiver / transmitter that can act as a headset with a line in and a line out, seems weird that I can't find anything other than this JK Audio BlueDriver-M3.

I just bought new Cooler Master MH630 headphones. But when if I am talking on the mic while my volume is above 50% on PC it catches the audio I am listening to also (I am using 3.5 mm jacks at the back of my motherboard MSI B450M Pro VDH Plus). And in the case of using the headphones with a mobile phone, it is way worse as no matter what is the volume or even mic is detached from the headphones, in-game or in the recording I can hear what I am listening to. While using in windows PC normally crosstalk happens when using on volume above 60% but if I go to Realtek Audio Console and select "Acoustic echo cancellation" under microphone options there is no crosstalk even at 100% volume. I just wanted to know whether these headphones were made to work with smartphones because no matter what is the volume in smartphones there is always crosstalk. I cannot replace them and replacement will likely take around 10-12 days according to the service center. Is there any solution?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a good headset for playing competitive games like tarkov and listening to music. I've been looking around for so long but nothing so far has satisfied what I want in a headset. My budget is 250 euros, it does not need 7.1 sound but I would like a headset which are good for hearing footsteps. I've seen some studio headphones but they usually dont have a mic and I need to get an amp and a separate mic which is something I don't really like. In the past I've used the logitech g933, hyper x cloud 2 and astro a50. I personally didn't like the sound on the a50's and the g933 had too many problems with the software for me. I hope someone could help me out. Thanks in advance.
