So I should just have no audio? I don't like speakers, I don't want to wake anyone up & they aren't as immersive.
-
It's not JUST footsteps, that's just an example I'm giving.
-
I currently own an arctis pro (wired) & a sennheiser hd600 both have failed to give me surround sound audio, I've tried disabling windows enhancements in windows properties settings, I've tried plugging them into different ports, using an amplifier etc like people suggest and it still isn't working & my audio is just flat, I've also tried listening to YouTube videos that test your headphones for 7.1 surround sound and again there is no directional audio on either of the headsets. I'm looking to get a pair that actually works so I can properly hear footsteps etc. I'm currently looking
-
Where can I find these enhancements? I don't see them. Are you talking about the actual settings when I click on the cog wheel or do I have to right click on the sound bar?
-
I've had issues with sound since I've began gaming on my pc from console. I cannot figure out the issue but no matter what headset I use I basically have no directional audio, no bass, the sound is just flat. When I hear footsteps I just hear footsteps & I can't tell where they're coming from. I've used both a sennheiser 600 & a steelseries arctis pro (wired). When I'm on console I can hear just fine. When I ask people with the same setup about this issue they say they can hear just fine. I don't even wear my headset anymore & I'm literally using it as a speaker.

Can I leave my external hard drive plugged in or will it cause problems? If I turn my pc off while it's plugged in wouldn't it cause issues or failure? It's like I'm not unplugging it safely with software.
-
I'm wondering, is CCleaner any good? Would it be worth downloading or are there better alternatives?
-
Thanks, that fixed my issue.

For some reason even though my TV is off it's still streaming what is on my main display, also even after unplugging my mouse can move off of my main display when I move it to the right, there is no border.

I'm currently using a 240hz 1080p monitor, I decided to use my 4k 120hz TV as a second screen. Ever since I plugged it in I'm getting random little stutters in my games and frame drops. What Is causing this issue? I have my TV plugged into my mb and my monitor in my gpu.
-
Where do you see those settings? The only thing I changed was xmp and my ram speed
-
I'm 100% sure. https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-X-HERO/HelpDesk_BIOS/
-
The most recent one, that's why I had to re-enable xmp.

It's not a fake mb or anything i bought it off Newegg & it's Asus ROG not like the blue screen that other Asus mb has.
