Hi all, So I recently bought a new PC case(h440) and I was going to transfer all my old pc into this case. But because I like the case so much I am willing to purchase new PC parts. Right now I Have the h440 case and 1 GTX 1070(Excluding my old pc parts) I am looking to upgrade to a DDR4 system. I would like recommendations for the CPU and help looking for a motherboard that has ram slots both sides of the CPU socket and RBG. I am also willing to buy another 1070 to SLI them. Thanks in advance!

Hi there! For the last month or so, I have been looking to complete my Hyper Beast set up. I already got the mousepad and mouse, and as far as I know, the case is all else I need (that is produced officially of course). The 2 cases here are beautiful, and I would like to get my hands on one of these. But they are so rare, I can't find any being sold new. If anyone has one BNIB for sale or seen this for sale (do include the link), please send the help my way. Thanks.

Wasn't really sure what to call this (Box with a bright-ass graphics card) thing. Originally built with a friend over two years ago, this system has spent most of its time with the window against the wall. After finally removing a few of the gaudier stickers, swapping to the white version of the ETS-T40, a beefier graphics card, and some temporary sleeved extensions (apparently, he wants gradient black > white sleeves), we finally got to take some photos. Along with the component changes, I also removed some mesh from the top and front panels and taped some paper to the top in front of the top 140mm fan to prevent heat from reentering the case. This ended up lowering temps by a few degrees. Since the storage drives are in the upper compartment, I glued a few layers of card stock together to make a wall that channeled airflow from the bottom fan into the upper chamber. I'm not really sure how much that helped but it's not like the cables in the basement need cooling. PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pCyxD8 Price breakdown by merchant: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pCyxD8/by_merchant/ CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7GHz 6-Core Processor ($404.00 @ B&H) CPU Cooler: Corsair - H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($107.99 @ Amazon) Motherboard: MSI - Z370 GAMING PRO CARBON ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($169.89 @ OutletPC) Memory: Kingston - 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($139.99 @ B&H) Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($84.88 @ OutletPC) Video Card: MSI - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GAMING X 8G Video Card ($569.98 @ Newegg) Case: NZXT - H440 (Matte Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case ($89.99 @ Newegg) Power Supply: Corsair - TXM Gold 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($89.99 @ Newegg) When i plug the pwm cable to syst_fan 4, it shows 0 rpm on all fans. When i plug ONE fan directly to syst_fan 1 for exampl,e mobo and bios recognise it. Should i try to plug the fan hub on the syst_fan 1 ? But cable it too short to access it. Also, im having issues with h100i v2, i pluged the usb cable to a usb hub on the bottom of my mobo (msi z370 carbon), and the 2 fans to the cable that goes to the pump. The cable coming out from the pump (3pins one), i plugged it in the CPU_FAN 1. PLease note that this seems to run at 100%, and bios wont recognize it (says 0rpm as well as case fans). PLease note that in the BIOS, i've set the cpu fan as DC with smart mode (as its only a 3pins cable??), the pump 1 as PWM and all case fans as DC smart mode. Last thing you need to know is that the water cooling is extremely noisy, which makes me think its running on 100% speed. I cant change anything as all the fans (case + water cooling) are not even recognised by any softwares. So i have few questions : 1) Where do i plug in the case hub ? Now its on sys_fan 4, working fine, but mobo dont read it. 2) Should i plug in every case fans separately from the case hub, so directly on the mobo, into the syst_fan 1, syst_fan 2... -> 4 ? 3) I pluged the corsair h100i v2 USB cable in a usb port called JUSB2 on the bottom of my mobo. Is it correct ? 4) I pluged the corsair h100i v2 power cable (coming out of the pump) to the CPU_FAN 1 on my mobo. Is it correct ? Also, the 2 fans from the cooler on the cable that comes out from the pump. Is it correct ? 5) In the BIOS, how should i set the fans ? DC or PWM mode ? Smart or normal ? I read that on 3 pins (like the cooler power), its on DC mode only. REMIND : atm, none of the fans are read by the mobo and bios, 0 rpms on all, h100i v2 fans being extremely noisy. Help a lost man. i can reward the one finding solution for me.

Im thinking about trying to use my h440 as a basis to do my first watercooling build. I hear it's not perfect but I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas to make two rads work well.

Hi So i got Nzxt h440 and i am planing on changing cooling from my dark rock 3 from be quiet to some AIO. Yes i got i5 but i doing it mostly for sake for better OC and for bit easier cooling instalation that will help with future cleaning because lets be real That tower cooler that i got now is a bitch when it comes to install :P. I am attaching pics of my inside i hope you gonna see enough to help Thats one question and second which cooler i should chose i mean AIO one? Should i got for balls deep corsair h110i or other one? (not gonna go for be quiet new coolers cuz they are not even worth now) And small off top question, is 50 C on SSD a bearable temp? since its under GPU cuz its sexy that way :P?

Right now I have the h440 picked out, but I am looking for some other options. -I want good air flow -Full ATX -Decent amount of drive bays for expansion(I do video editing so it really piles up) -Good cable management -Sound damping is OK, along as it doesn't effect any of the other things -Budget is around $110ish, but I can spend more Here is my build - http://pcpartpicker.com/list/ngKdbj

Heya! So im building my first PC in H440 case with H100i AIO and I just wanted to make sure the airflow is optimised. So I am going with Black/white theme so i cant put the H100i on the top. I am thinking something like this: If i put the AIO in the front as an intake with 1 120mm stock fan below it (also intake) and as an exhaust i would have 2 120mm stock fans on the top and 1 140mm fan in the rear. That way the air moves naturaly and therefore it has optimized airflow, i hope.. Now i know that the AIO will be putting some hot air in but does that really make that much of a difference? I mean the 1 stock intake fan will surely make a difference right? Thanks cor the anwsers! EDIT: In the future im thinking of buying Noctua F12 as an intake and put that stock fan as an another exhaust.

Hi, I'm planning a build with Razer Case, and hesitate between the H440, and S340. I initially was aiming at the H440, but seeing the price difference, will probably settle for S340? One concern is the noise level, I read the H440 is quite a silence case. What do you think? Thanks for your help

Here's the build: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/fkwzNN *purchases parts are marked as $0 (purchased) I'm looking for some cables that would look good with my system, I believe EVGA's own cables come with 8+6 Pin cables which might look cleaner, not sure if I want just white cables or black and white cables either. Let me know what you think

Hello guys while installing my PSU a while ago i've just realised that i put the PSU fan face upside of my NZXT H440 case not the bottom. Its been running like this for about 6 mounts now, should i turn it down or it doesn't matter a lot, it is more dust protected like that i think.... Regards! - Redjo

Hello. I recently noticed my logo on the NZXT h440 won't light up. It is a quite new Case like maybe a month or two. i have checked all the cabeling to it and it is plugged in. Also I have seen people with simular problems but they couldn't even get the io led on. Though my io led will turn on when I push the Little black button. I also saw a video of a Guy that fixed hos problem by pushing One of the pins in the molex cable back Into Place but by the way I see it on Line they all look fine. And I really can't understand where the problem is. I just thought I would ask you people before I tske it on my warranty (BTW I am terribly sorry for the bad English)

Hi guys, Next weekend I plan on modding my H440. I'll be doing a couple things, the main one will be switching out the crappy acrylic windows with a nice clear piece of toughened glass, my question about this is how would I best secure it? I was thinking about using a dremel to remove the small metal lip on the inside of the panel and then using a very strong glue to fix it on? The other thing I'm looking to do is replace the Thumb screws with white ones. The issue is that I don't know the thread size (or how to find out) and I can't seem to buy them in the UK without paying £20 shipping for a £5 item

Ok so I just recently built a PC using the h440 case and everything was fine, until I realized that not all the case fans are working. The back and one of the three fans in the from work. (The top one) So the bottom two don't work. I've already tried re arranging the case fan connectors in the fan header in the back of the case with the same results being that the back and one front case fan works while the other two doesn't. Did the case come with dead fans or am I missing something here?

Hello! First of all, I apologize for lumping all my questions into one thread, I just didn't want to clog up the forums. My biggest issue is that the temperatures on my cpu seem to be slightly higher than normal. I've been overclocking lately, and I've reached 4.2 ghz stable at 1.113 volts, but I can get higher frequencies stable quite easily. The only reason I can't is because of my temperatures. I'm running a h100i with Noctua NF-F12s in a push-pull setup, with the fans currently maxed out at around 1500 rpms. My idles are in the low 40s, and as soon as I run small ftps in Prime95 or stress fpu in Aida64, my temperatures skyrocket to the low 90s. I feel like this is higher than normal, even though I know the stock fans can run 2000+ rpms, but since I'm running push-pull with higher quality fans I feel like my temperatures should be lower. My second issue is with my custom fan curves. I'm currently running 8 fans in my case, 4 for the push-pull radiator, 1 more intake, and 3 exhaust. I have 4 fans plugged into the motherboard header, and the 4 radiator fans plugged into the corsair H100i. My fans that are running off the motherboard header I have set curves with in AI suite, and they seem to work just fine. However, the fans I have plugged into the H100i seem to ignore the fan curves I set in Corsair Link. They just run at around 1000rpm, and the only way I can change that is by setting a fixed rpm%. I read online somewhere that there's an issue with the sensors getting directions from two separate programs at once, or something. Is this true? If so, is there a way I can control all of the fans from one of the software (preferably AI suite)? Is there anything else I can use to control them all? Or should I unplug them from the h100i and use fan splitters to plug them all into the motherboard? Finally, I currently only have two 120mm fans in the top exhaust bay of the case, but I would like to populate this with a third fan (or replace these two with 140mm fans) to improve airflow. I would like to have positive pressure in the case, however. I have 3 bays in the front as intake, although 2 of the bays are my radiator (even though there are 4 fans there), my two 120mm fans and a 140mm fan in the back as exhaust. Is there a good way of doing this anyone can think of? How does a push-pull radiator set up affect the pressure ratio? Thanks for all the help guys! I'm sorry for the wall of text, and for cramming multiple questions into one thread. I appreciate all the help!

The NZXT H440 and Fractal Design Define R5 have been on the market for quite a while and I'm just remembering all those topics about H440 vs R5 back when both cases were still kinda fresh on the market. I just want to know about what you guys, especially owners of these cases, think about these cases now. What are your complaints about those 2 cases if there's any, maybe dust issues, maybe airflow issues, anything? H440 owners, do you wish you had gotten the R5 or any other cases available today? And R5 owners, do you wish you had gotten the H440 or any other cases available today? Would you still recommend either of those 2 cases especially for silent pc builds?

Hello. I got 2 new fans today Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-3000 PMW Fans x2 I want to use these 2 fans as a replacement for my current H110i GTX Liquid Cooler Fans. I did some research and these are good rad fans from Noctua (140mm) fans. So my question is : Which is the best option with these 2 new fans - intake or exhaust? Here is a diagram of my current setup with the stock H110i GTX Liquid Cooler Fans in. (not my best diagram but its understandable )

Hi All, I'm just replacing the stock fans in my H440 case to the new Corsair ML120mm, wondering if I should plug them into the included fan hub or if I should go directly to the mobo? I think if I plug all the fans directly into the fan hub then the fan hub's PWM cable into the mobo that the mobo will still control the fan speed still but I think they all get controlled as 1 unit so all the same speed and not individually. If I route all the fans PWM cables straight to individual PWM connectors on the mobo then the mobo should be able to control each fan individually right? So I'm thinking doing them all separately to chassis connectors would be best?

I posted this in the H440 Unofficial Thread, but figured it might get more comments, feed back, and conversations here, so here it is! My build! So after watching too many console gaming videos, and being a console gamer for most of my 33 years on this planet, I slowly started to watch more pc videos, and subscribed to most of the usual suspects. (Linus, awesome sauce, jayz2cents, hardwarecanucks, etc.) I slowly got more and more into the idea of building a PC of my very own, and after doing tons of research, reading, and pricing, I built my first ever desktop rig, to work, game, and everything in between. I wanted to keep it a sleeper, and not overly flashy unless I wanted to turn up the lighting, so I went with the rarely seen around here, black on black 440. I had originally planned for a 970 card, but ended up getting a killer deal on a 980ti, and have enrolled in EVGAs "Step Up" card program, and will get a 1080 FTW RGB Edition when it becomes available in the program, or possibly wait for the 1080ti to come to market instead. I also suffer from diagnosed obsessive compulsive disorder, so my build is very clean, and my desk/work environment, and surroundings are always kept as proper as possible. The Final Pop Captain Phasma figure was a throw in at purchase by the salesman, as he said that each build should have a name, and a background. She has since been relagated to shelf duty as she was impeding air flow in the case. Will these two components look good in a white H440 or a black H440? Will i be able to see the heatsinks on the mobo with this cooler? Should i get a different mobo/cooler to make it look better? If you have this two components please send me pics of it.

Currently I have 3 120mm fans as intake in front and i have a kraken x61 that has 2 140mm in the radiator as exhaust well as a 140mm as exhaust. The case I have is a NZXT H440. Is 3 120mm as intake and 3 140mm as exhaust ok?I have the PSU fan facing down and is intaking air from the outside. The intake fans are: 3 stock NZXT H440 fans. The exhaust fans are: Top Mounted kraken X61 liquid with 2 phanteks 140mm PH-F140MP_BK_PWM.The Rear Exhaust fan is another Phanteks 140mm PH-F140XP_BK.Sorry still new to building so it's all still pretty confusing. What should i do to make this a positive airflow as well?
