Hi, Topic pretty much covers the main question, does GIGABYTE GTX1060 G1 Gaming 6GB has any way to sync RGB with other components?

I'm planning on getting a PC with a GTX 1060 3GB GPU. I'm running a dual monitor, one for gaming and one for research, school, and streaming. I was thinking of getting a 240Hz monitor for gaming. Is there any recommendations for the other monitor? Keep in mind I only need it for studying and streaming.

Hi my current card a GTX 760 has just died and im thinking of buying a MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Armor 8GB to replace it but im concerned that it might bottleneck. The MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Armor 8GB where i live is 500€ the 1060 is 340€ and my max buget is 500€. My reasoning to get a 1070ti ( even if i only play in 1080p ) is mainly longevity but i woulb be ok with a 1060. I really prefer having the 1070ti that would last me longer, the only reson for me to go for the 1060 is if the 1070ti would bottleneck to the point where its a problem. I just want opinions on what should i do. I took apart my old computer that wasn't working and cleaned it, changed ssd and psu and then put it back together. I installed a fresh windows 10 and everything is working normally, without the graphicscard that is. Whenever I turn it back on after putting in a graphicscard the monitor says there is no connection and no image appears. Specs Motherboard: P8Z77-V LX CPU: i5-3570 PSU: Corsair CX550M, 550W PSU 80+ bronze SSD: ADATA SU800 256GB Graphicscards i have tried using a GTX 1050 ti and a GTX 1060 3GB that i have not seen running before and a GTX 1050ti from ASUS that was bought new and worked in this system before i took it apart (only about 3 months old) Have tried using both VGI and HDMI and confirmed with a different system that both the cables and monitor works. all fans will be spinning including the one(s) on the graphic card and everything will light up like normal however there will for some reason not be a connection to the monitor. afraid it might be the windows 10 causing trouble or even worse that the motherboard could be damaged Id appreciate if anyone could come up with a suggestion for a solution as im slowly running out of ideas, any idea would be helpfull, thank you for your time.

So, here is my situation: I am a student currently on my way to Uni. Over the summer I have a job from which I expect approximately 13,000 CZK/600 USD. I would like to build a budget Gaming PC, no monster, just to run some new-ish games at 1080p. I am currently running on an ANCIENT rig built a long time ago. (It has DDR2 RAM, just to paint a picture) I do not need top notch performance in AAA titles, just to be able to run them, even if at low to mid settings. Currently I have a 650W PSU, a CPU cooler and that's about it. I am looking for a Case, GPU (have recently been looking at GTX1060 and read that it is a pretty good sweet spot + would rather go with Nvidia than AMD on the GPU) MoBo, RAM and a CPU. With the CPU i am torn between AMD and Intel, would go with any of them, as long as they fit into the budget. (4Core will suffice, I will be studying medicine, so no heavy computing for me) Any suggestions for a PC in this price bracket?

My pc is an i5-2300 with ddr3 ram and a 650ti. Should i replace the grapfics card first to a gtx 1060 and then save up money to replace the cpu (i5-7400), motherboard and ram or replace first the cpu, motherboard and ram and then the graphics card? I use my pc more for games, but for everything in geral

Hello everyone, So my GPU died a month ago and I recently purchased a GTX 1060 mini from Zotac. I was a bit worried the single fan configuration might cause cooling issues. And so it happens my graphics card goes up to 81°c - 83°c under full load and Idles at 45°c. My old GPU (from AMD) stayed well below 70°c under full load. I contacted Zotac support and they said it's perfectly fine for a pascal card to achieve these temperatures, I am feeling a bit skeptical about that claim. The max operating temperature for my card is 94°c and 83°c seems too close. So my question is, is it perfectly fine for my GPU to attain such high temperatures? Are there any solutions for lowering the temps? Here are my computer specs, Chassis - Corsair Spec 02 4x120mm Fans Cpu - Ryzen7 1700x Cpu Cooler - Cooler master hyper 212x PSU - Cooler Master Vanguard 650w Ambient temps - 25°c (20°c with the air conditioner on)

I've bought the xfx rx580 8gb gts xxx edition.Last year, almost all the benchmarks were showing that the 580 had actually better at performance than the 1060.BUT now, it's the opposite(with some exceptions as always)!!What did actually change, and should i send back the 580 for a 1060?I want a futureproof card(as much as i can for the money, max 320$)Thanks!! P.s,i dont care about freesync, multimple gpus and power consumption. Also,in my country, the 1060 is about 35$ more expensive. Also,i can still send back for free my gpu.

Hi, Recenly i am playing witcher 3 with gtx1060, when i turn on the vsync on nvidia control panel, it can keep 60fps most of the time but some time it will drop to 51fps or lower. I have read some articles that with vsync on it will immediately drop to 50% of your refresh rate which is 30fps for this case if cannot keep up 60fps. Then why i will have around 51fps appear? Thanks a lot!

Hi Everyone, I am building a gaming rig for my friend max budget is NZD 1700. Below is my parts list. Any changes or recommendations and constructive criticism most welcome. Thanks in advance. https://nz.pcpartpicker.com/list/yCyPJ8

I am interested whether all my components are compatible. The motherboard says it supports 2nd gen Ryzens, although on the builder site it says it might not be compatible. Also, any tips and suggestions for swapping out components are more than welcome - I'm interested in mainly 1080p gaming and some office work. Here's the build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6CXpKB The 1000$ budget is hard-capped and some components are 10-20% more expensive in my country than the current Amazon prices. Thanks in advance!

Im cant understand why my config (i5 4460 gtx 1060 6gb and 8gb of ram) is struggling to even reach 100 fps on csgo deathmatch. Ive seen tons of videos online who use the same config as me or similiar that get 100 fps more than me. And also this IS an issue for me because Im not utilizing the full potential of my 144 hz monitor. Ive tryed everything which I can think of and I just wanted to see what you guys think I can do. Is my pc cpu limited or something? Or is it bios problems? Let me know

Was thinking of changing my gpu. Currently using a Gigabyte G1 GTX1060 3GB. Looking for a GTX1080 card for future upgrade to 2k or 4k gaming. My situation now is -cryptocurrency is not so popular anymore -my countries sales tax was just abolished so things like pc parts are significantly cheaper But I'm also worried that when 1100 series or volta which will come out soon will lower prices, making it unwise for me to upgrade now. someone... please... HELP

Hi everyone, im kind of new here in the world of overclocking and i wanted to ask for some help here. I managed to overclock my zotac gtx 1060 mini with +190 gpu clock // +510 on the memory clock and power to 116% . i did this without raising the voltage limit because as soon as i do that i hit the power limit. So, i have some questions, is it bad for performance to hit the power limit? What does it mean to get to the power limit? Did i find the limit of my card? i have I've seen 1060's getting to +225 on the core and +700 on the memory. Anyway thank you guys. Note: my temperatures are well undercontrol.

Please help, I've just finished putting together my new build a couple hours ago, and I'm trying to begin my PC's first bootup, however it has a black screen upon turning on (no signal detected) the motherboard LED indicated I have a VGA/GPU error, and I don't know what I should do. Reading different forums for solutions I'm getting way too many mixed and unsure answers from other people with the same problems, and yes I have the hdmi running through the GPU, I know that it cannot run through the motherboard's output due to it not currently being supported on the new Ryzen platform. Parts: CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X MTB: Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3 RAM: G skill Fortis DDR4 2400Mhz GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Storage: 250GB SSD PSU: Thermaltake 700W Please note the graphics card works fine installed in my old system with no problem, I'm just unsure on what steps I should take to fix if anyone knows how to fix this issue. I've tried installing one stick of ram at a time in all slots with no changes, as well as putting the graphics card in the different PCIE slots. All the parts listed are brand new (except the graphics card)

I move a lot and I need a gaming laptop is now a good time to get one ? My budget can afford a GTX1060 laptop is it a good idea to get one with that GPU at this date ? Or the new generation of GPUs is nearly here and I should wait ?

Goodday, I've had a prebuild PC for a while which I upgraded a little while ago with a sharkoon 600W 80 plus bronze PSU and a MSI gtx1060 6gb. Not much later I got a samsung 120gb ssd. Now I would need a motherboard, CPU, cpu-cooler and RAM that would allow to take all the performance out of my gpu, but I have no clue what to pick. Can you please help me out? I was also thinking to go mini-ITX size, but don't know if it's the best option, but would be great. I live in central/west europe, so it's all in euro's for me. budget is as low as possible, but hoping to stay under 600. Thank you in advance. (I realize it's a bottleneck ) I added a picture of how my pc looks right now. (Yes, I bashed in the drivecage to fit in the gtx1060) The case is a Tacens aluminium extreme, The side panel is 1 huge fan which makes a lot of noise, that's why I don't have it on the case

Hey there. I've just built my recent pc (Gtx1060, I58400, z370 mobo, 8Gb 2933Mhz, evga supernova 650 p2, 1tb hdd) For some reason, when playing games, my cpu usage is always really high, for example in Rise of Tomb Raider, even playing in lower res than 1080p, like 900p or even 768p (and with high or very high settings) the cpu is usually 90% - 100%. This happens in other intensive games like oc origins, witcher 3,... I don't think it's a bottleneck, however, considering I've got all the drivers updated, XMP on, high perfomance mode for cpu and gpu.... All cores maintain a steady 3800MHz. CPU temps are usually 70ºC. Graphic temps are a little weird barely reaching 60 ºC (Usage between 70/90 %). CPU usage in idle is normal, and using chrome is usually between 10 / 20 % Do you have any idea what can be causing this? Is this normal and am i overreacting or not? Thanks for any help in advance, Joaquim

I have taken a break away from my new extraordinary complex build and taken on the task of finding parts, assembling and installing my friends new gaming computer. It was his birthday last Sunday so this years big gift for himself was a new PC. Been using a gaming laptop the past few years with no clear upgrade path, it surely have hit a roadblock for one wanting to play new titles. We both live in Denmark and here hardware is pretty expensive, so there was a budget - get me the best possible rig, somewhat future proof, quiet, good looks, NO RGB, maintenance free and for less than £1.100 // $1.570 // £1.270 // 9.500 DKR. So we found: MSI B350M Gaming Pro motherboard AMD Ryzen 5 1500X CPU CoolerMaster MasterLiquidLite 240 AIO Corsair LPX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 3000MHz RAM Gigabyte AORUS GeForce® GTX 1060 6G 9Gbps Seagate Firecuda SSHD 1TB 1 random 120mm PWM fan (I had this already) 1 random 140mm fan (I had this already) 1 PWM splitter (I had this already) Fractal Design Integra M 550Watt PSU Fractal Design Meshify C Dark ed. w/Tempered glass A BitFenix PSU extension (I had this already) A Phanteks GPU power extension (I had this already) Samsung C24FG73 23,5" Curved HD monitor (gifted from his girlfriend) Logitech G413 White keyboard Plantronics 500HD surround headset I had an unused Windows 10 Pro from my private stockpile of PC gear that he got. All in all a pretty good deal on a budget, optimized primarily for gaming and not much else. Therefor no more than 8GB RAM, no SSD, no fancy anything really, just performance.

Hey LTT-Community, every 6 months I take my entire system apart to remove dust and cat hair. Its a big problem since I have 2 cats and my pc is standing on a carpet and doesnt have any sort of dust filtration. Anyways, I took it apart, cleaned everything with a brush, threw new thermal compund on my cpu and gpu and put it back together. Now the video cards fan Is spinning, but its not outputting through hdmi dvi or displayport. If I remove the card and use the integrated graphics it boots and puts out. My MB doesnt beep and yes, I have a MB speaker. I have made sure several times that my cables are all correctly seated correctly. I have an old GTX 750TI and that does work. Is there anything I can do or is my gpu dead? Specs: (Its a prebuilt lenovo something Erazer I think, the only original things in there are the ram, the mb, and the cpu) I5 4460 16GB RAM Zotac GTX1060 mini SSD Some Lenovo branded MB 500 watt Bequiet psu Cheers

So I have to ask if anyone here has had this level of BS come up at any time in their tech lives: So I work at a small computer store and through the past few months with the GPU Shortages we have had maybe 6 GTX1060's in store to sell. One of the 1060's was sold to a guy that came back the next day saying it was DOA. We tested it and what do you know it was. No I told my manager that the Customer should do the RMA himself, but the Manager wanted to see if we could do it via our Wholesaler and not threw ASUS. This was around the time that news of the big box stores Stopping In Store RMA/Exchanges because of Lack of Stock mind you. So against my recommendations we took the card back in and after almost a MONTH!!! It comes back "FIXED"(I don't know the details of the RMA whether it was done via ASUS or our Wholesaler mind you). We give it back to the customer and all is well for a time... Fast forwared to Today "4/5/18" the guy came in with the card because it started failing AGAIN. This time he says the card ramps up its fans and the screen goes black. At some point along the lines two FAN Blades had Snapped Off and he brought them in with the card expecting US to do the RMA for him again. Again I told my Manager that The Customer should do the RMA himself, and again my Manager said we would take it in. This time I was so mad I got up and walked away and made him take it in. I got a dressing down for this fact, but I have had it with this BS. This GPU has been RMA'd once before, it's got a Broken Fan and the guy thinks We can get it Replaced? I feel bad for the guy, he paid the $350 for the card and I've never had a GPU fail like this before but this time the card has Physical Damage. How are we meant to RMA it? I can't even trust to test it because the Fan's our out of balance.... Well that's my rant all. Hope your day is going better then mine. At least I got to build my first Mini-ITX system today. Check out my Instagram if you want to see it.

I have a fixed budget of about $1100 to buy a laptop which is suitable for school and gaming.id like it to be as thin as a gaming laptop can be at that price range. Ive checked out the Acer Helios 300 but there are several reviews on Amazon saying that it's very unreliable and often ships with issues or dies within less than a year. So. Does anyone know of any good laptop with at least a 1060 thats going for $1100 or less?
