I have a system budget build of 424W for around $600-$700 CAD. I wanted to get this psu https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=33_1938&item_id=165544 Not only since it was 650W, but also because its on sale and the Canada Computers in-store Rep said it was a good product that he's used in builds. But like what do ya'll say about it? Should I get it or is there any better alternatives around this price?

Hi! I tried to convert an SFF machine (HP compaq 6000 pro) into a machine that would be able to game moderate games. But i recently found out that when i tried to put into a new case, the motherboard wouldnt fit. I found out that it would never fit in the newer case because i bought an ATX/Micro-ATX Case for an SFF motherboard. So since the motherboard was to old. I decided to look for all new material for the pc (i mean: new motherboard, cooler, cpu etc except the graphics card: asus 750 ti PH) but i dont know what to look for as i am not very technical. so i wanted to ask if someone knew what kind of board i could buy when i mainly just play games like the yakuza games, minecraft, and vr chat. And what cpu would be best for that. also i am on a bit of a budget (around 100 euro's for the motherboard, and maybe 60 for the cpu) so if you could keep that in mind that would be great. thanks already for checking my question out! i hope you have a nice day

Budget (including currency): 600 Euro´s Country: Belgium Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: School, but needs to last for a long time. So my school recommended this laptop HP ProBook 445 G7 - AMD Ryzen 3 4300U with 14inch 1000 nits display. the specs look good for the price, but the display has Huge bezels. I just want to make sure that I get the best laptop for 600 euro´s, that also look decent. Thanks I hope this is the right category

Budget (including currency): 100-150 usd Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: light gaming Other details: My friend's mom waited until he moved in with his dad to sell his pc (she kept the money) . enthusiast level pc (9900k, 1070, etc). I wont get too far into the details but I am hoping to build him something to make up for the BS his mom pulled with his pc. I am trying to build something reasonably usable and cheap. I am thinking 6th or 7th gen intel if I get a good deal. possibly a xeon. LInks would be extremely helpful! I am not in a hurry as I never told him I am doing this.

New on here decided id showcase my latest project. I've been interested in building my own pc for a few years now but never had the money or time, with so much work being done at home and the addition of games the past year or so like Warzone I decided the time was right... (minus trying to source a reasonably priced gpu) PC and Peripherals Case: Corsair icue 220t Psu: Corsair Cx650m Cooler: Corsair H80i V2 Ram: Corsair 16gb 3000mhz (2x8gb) Cpu: Ryzen 3 2200g @3.85ghz Gpu: sahpire pulse Rx580 4Gb Motherboard: Aorus B450m Boot drive: sabrent 512gb nvme Storage: 1tb wd drive Monitor:Dell s2421h Mouse: Corsair Harpoon wireless Keyboard: Corsair K55 keyboard (not a corsair fanboy but from the little knowledge I had about pcs before building it , they seemed like good quality and the peripherals were cheap second hand !) Really didn't like the color scheme of the gpu backplate so I got some heat resistant paint and primer and gave it a couple of very light coats and I'm very impressed with it. No noticeable difference in Temperatures under. I'm not too keen on the crazy RBG colors, I feel a black case and internals looks pretty clean. Tried to keep costs for peripherals, desk and chair at a minimum so most of it is either second hand or fixed, had an old desk lying around which came out nice with a lick of grey paint. Tried to keep the build pretty clean, tidy cables was definitely high up on the priority list, got some cable clips on amazon as well as some double sided tape and zip ties to tidy up the back of the desk and pretty happy with it. Future plans are to wire the speakers with an amp which I have ordered, figure a way of hiding the ethernet cable and maybe upgrade to a wireless keyboard. If There's anything you like/dislike about the build or have any suggestions I would really appreciate it !

Budget (including currency): ∞ Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Pushing 8 4k screens I am about to start using as a new trade wall. Might get a gaming display if I ever find the time to game. Other details (Already have most of it built, didn't have much trouble figuring out what components I wanted. Motherboard used some asus ROG board that was always at the top of the list. CPU grabbed an AMD threadripper something something x that I was told was the best off of eBay. RAM chucked in a few hundred or so gbs of trident g.skill royal that was also definitively the best GPUs grapped of couple of FE 3090s off the bay, god I love ebay I can get ANYTHING. Storage had my dude put in a couple of 8tb corsair nvme mp400s and raid em. COOLING and this is where I come to an impasse. So my dude is going to run me a copper cooling loop and fix up the ihs on my cpu and tool up my gpus. BUT the case fans have me stuck. What are the best case fans money can buy? I am stuck between going with a bunch of Noctuas or a bunch of the Corsair magnetic levitation fans. But in the real world, which is more effective at cooling? Anyway, coming up on I don't have much time for this I need to get back to work. Give me your thoughts. If you need more details on the machine I'll have my dude send me the full list of everything I bought and what exactly it was. -
Does anyone know any good RAM to pair with a Ryzen 5 3600? The maximum budget I can go for is 1,300,000 Indonesian Rupiah and under. It'll be used for games like Overwatch, Rocket League, Hitman 2 & 3, Watch Dogs 2, Valorant. Also will be used for video and photo editing. Thanks in advance. (PS: I did want to go Crucial Ballistix, but sadly there are no sellers in my country.)

Hello. I'm a total noob when it comes to pc. But after sometime thinking and planing, finally decided to build myself a PC. Parts are coming in a week, but except the Gpu. Was planing a single pc streaming setup but then 1660's are out of stock everywhere(I don't live in USA btw), and getting 3000series atm is no no, So decided to go with a decent budget option for the time bein. Here is my parts: Cpu: ryzen 5 3600 Mobo: Msi mortar max b450m Ram: Crucial Ballistix 16g in dual 3200mhz Storage: some kingston nvme and 2tb 7200rpm hdd Psu: haven't decided yet but gonna get 600w one And some cheap as case. I can live with that And 1080p 144hz display to go with it, thinking about upgrading to 1440p in some time tho not soon. So, here is how this is looking right now, Gtx 970 4gb ... 144 usd R9 390 4gb ... 134 usd R9 290 4gb ... 115 usd Seller is telling me they are all new, but we all know that's total bs. But I'm ok with that, as long as they runs. So, Happy to hear your opinions guys

I have a Lenovo ideapad FLEX 6-14|KB laptop which runs a i3 with an APU, I'm pretty confident i can sell it for $500 seeing that it's over $700 used on other sites. After selling it, I want to purchase a laptop with any sort of Dedicated Graphics Card inside. I came here to know what I should be looking for particularly, either a used one to buy or a completely new one. I have a spare set of 16GB DDR4 2666MHz PC4-21300 memory sticks, so I was in between finding something cheaper with less memory or selling the sticks and adding to the laptop fund. - All I really want out of it in the end is to run OBS and a few Twitch tabs while it not being too worked up. This exact configuration ate up most of my memory last time. Much appreciated for all the help (if any)

Budget (including currency): 700€ Country: Austria Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minimum gaming requirement: - AC Valhalla should run smoothly (with future dedicated gpu 20+) with stable 60 fps, minimum settings high. Other workloads: - Minimum monitors 2 with min. 1080p (one will probably get upgraded in the future) - programming and stuff Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): So thats what i came up with so far. The case and the motherboard are fixed I got those from a friend for free. Now i want to make a build without a GPU for obvious reasons. What I am also not sure about is the CPU. Ryzen 5 3400G seems to be a common pick right if you are looking for a CPU with integrated graphics, but I would prefer a CPU with more than 4 cores to step up a bit. Is there a better CPU with integrated graphics? Or would buying a 5600X AND some cheap graphics also be an option or a waste of money? Hope I didn't miss any essential information, if please let me know, would appreciate some tips

Okay so I keep hearing similar answers so I'm hoping some new eyes on the situation other than my own and my buddies will help. The short of it is after streaming for a few minutes the audio stops working and just makes clicks or audio spikes every couple of seconds. It does this on 3 different recording softwares. First thing to recognize is I know this system is outdated. It's a hand-me-down to my buddy. Second, this worked for months and only recently stopped. System information: AMD FX 8350 4.0 ghz Wraith cooler Msi 970a-g43 plus Asus radeon HD7770 2gb 250gb sandisk ssd 750w thermaltake psu To reiterate, I used this computer with a rx480 for streaming without a cap card and for recording and it worked fine. I swapped out my old hd7770 when I gave it to him because he got a cap card and wanted to stream smash. He successfully used it for months and it started having this issue. Many people have said the system can't handle it but it recorded fine for years and months with the current hardware. The unit records fine but after a range of 30 seconds to 5 minutes the audio starts spiking. I've swapped the graphics card back to the 480 to see if it was the card and it worked fine. We replaced the cap card (elgato hd60+.) The hardware isn't maxing out it's barely at 40%. I've tried reinstalling my drivers but not fully uninstalling like I saw on a video. We've tried changing hard drives minimizing settings. And a number of other things. I was hoping someone else has had this issue or maybe give me some ideas. I'm constantly trouble shooting because my buddy doesn't have much computer knowledge and my knowledge is just building the old computer and my new one. With watching linus and a few others over the years. I feel like I'm letting my friend down so any help would be great. Thanks in advance If you're asking for logs and stuff some light instructions would help as I'm not very knowledgeable on how to get those.

First of all hi all and thanks in advance for reply, I have stinky router which internet provider gave for free but well as you guessed it's bad. So I'm thinking about little upgrade. Things to consider, house is relatively small about 80 sq/m, but walls are fucking thick and placement for router is not best can't do shit about it. Bandwidth is not issue, but I have quite a lot wireless devices about 10-15, 2 IPTV. I'm from developing country so not all brands are available here, I have 2 options 1) https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-c6/ 2) https://www.asus.com/Networking-IoT-Servers/WiFi-Routers/ASUS-WiFi-Routers/RT-AC1200/ On paper tp link is lil bit better, but I have no experience owning either of brands. Yes I know about used office routers I tried I had problem with IPTV.

Hello guys! I hope you are all having a great day. I am in a search for a new TV that would be used for movies and for next gen gaming in the foreseeable future. I don't want to blow my wallet up with an OLED as you imagined from the budget. I think that the HDMI 2.1 is hard to find in this price range, in addition of a good panel with great colors. Have you got any options about me? I live in Greece. Thank you in advance!
