I have already discussed this with @Luclocke and @MyInnerFred in the past, now over a month ago now. I have been meaning to create a thread bout this to get more feedback before I actually make the polling thread. This has been what I have been casually mentioning every now and then. I just finally took the time to put all of my thoughts together. I know this is a lot of text but take some time and read through it when you get a chance. I really think there needs to be more diversity in the offerings in the poll's each week. I think there should be at least one Pre-2007, Post-2007, recent, and current offering each week. This would diversify the offerings each vote. The many votes in the past have been made up of mostly current and the rest recent series. Additionally if something does well but doesnt win bring it back next round and if something does horribly banish it until we cant think of anything else. To be truthful there have been a couple gems but for the most part current anime arnt so hot in my opinion, especially within the last year or so. An issue I see in that newer anime viewers, at least in the US, never go and watch the anime that broke the ground for many of the current titles. I think is a complete shame. it would also help with some of the titles that rely on anime knowledge. Hayate no Gotoku anyone? Many times this is sadly due to the older animation style which is why GITS 2.0 happened as well as the new Eva movies. What do you all think of that? For me personally it may actually be easier for me to rewatch older anime, especially ones that it has been a while since I watched, than start something brand new. It will also give me a reason to rewatch them and with all the knowledge and experience I have gained since ill likely get something new or different out of it. I can suggest many anime but I dont think picking ones each week for the poll would be great because everyone in the club has far less input then. My idea create a thread for anime suggestions. In the OP or second post have a complete list without duplicates. Pick anime from that list relatively in order of whats there trying to stay diverse when making the poll. Then use some of what I mentioned before for creating future polls. This would lessen the need for pms to Luclocke and would allow others to see what is suggested. I could even keep track of how many times something is suggested in the thread in that list. This could possibly give that anime more weight when deciding what should be in the poll. I plan on managing the thread. I really think there will be more suggestions if this is public. Heck, there might even be some discussion happening there as well. When suggesting I think I might require at least one sentence as to why there are suggesting it and it must not include spoilers. It could also be kinda like a pitch for the anime once we include it in the polls. The main intention however is just stop a mass post of like 20 anime or something. Also I wonder if there is a way to get more discussion out of the selected anime. To do this someone(s) would really have to lead the charge on this part and try and engage people on/width stuff. I personally think a 24-26 ep series is too much to finish in one week but many of people seem to be fine with it. This doesnt mean that starting a new series cant happen just that the other thread should still be "current" if you know what I mean. So what do you all think? I would really appreciate your feedback on this as im trying to improve and streamline the suggestion and polling process. For a good list of anime everyone should check out this picture http://goo.gl/0Ku64G . I linked to is since its large in more ways than one. Sorry that its not that great but its all I could save when my server tanked couple years ago. Oh and heads up with discussion I am stupendously horrible with names and this definitely includes character names in anime. Until someone corrects me or figures out who I am talking about ill likely just use descriptions that are as accurate as I can remember. @Luclocke @RainColt @TheProfosist @Rockmandash12 @CatCloud @Cryptonite @DarkCrow @EChondo @killers993 @Epitome @GokuLy @lutewan @Izaya Orihara @squirrl @oc0110 @Jaybird @Charger @Legion @ @Laforet If I missed anyone please let me know. Hey guys! I'm planning to buy a Nanoxia NXDS1W white steel atx computer case and putting an AnoHana design on it. AnoHana is my favorite anime of all time. I highly recommend anyone to watch it. 100% you'll love it. Anyways I was hoping if anyone can give me tips on this. I want to put the anohana flowers around the case, colored in pink. I also want the logo on the front, and the 4 of them on the side panel. So I'm looking for feedback, ideas, and tips. I need help with getting or creating a stencil of the images and which spray paint I should use. These are the images I want to use are on the attached files place.

Based off the Manga / Anime, Fan made, unofficial and not fully polished (yet), but the main action moves and attacks works well and true to the series. If you haven't seen the anime, you can check it out over at crunchyroll. It's using Unity and you can try it just in the browser. Single and Multiplayer! The "3D Maneuver gear" can be a bit of a challenge to get around, but that's one of the most interesting ways to move around, as opposed to being easily able to jump around like like super beings. Reminds me of the old school Bionic Commando (NES) where you have to grapple around. Check it out. What do you guys think? http://fenglee.com/game/aog/

So the AoT Facebook page just posted this video and I have to say that it brought up some interesting ideas. Are the titans inherently evil just because they do bad things? What if they don't have the mental capacity for it and they're running purely on instinct? Anyway, I thought some people might enjoy taking a look from a different perspective on those hulking monstrosities. The video in question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HA-_5Xb0M18

This Weeks Anime! Desert Punk Synopsis In the future, Japan is a wasteland. In the Great Kanto Desert, scattered humans eke out a living in the hot sand. Among them, a short-statured man they call "Sunabozu" makes a living as a bounty hunter. Like a demon of the sand, he seems unbeatable. Yet, like all men, he has a particular weakness for the opposite sex... -from ANN My Opinion I thought it was good at the time and it is one of the few anime I bought a dvd volume of but that was when it was new back in 2005 but since I have not seen it in almost 10 years I cant really remember much of it. So I will leave you with no comment on whether it is really good or not. This Weeks Animes! Beyond the boundary & Angel Beats Beyond the boundary Synopsis Akihito Kanbara is a high school sophomore in the literature club who believes himself to be a "Meganest", and although he appears to be human, he is actually half Yomu, which makes him invulnerable to wounds, due to the fact that he can heal so quickly, and also immortal. One day, Akihito meets freshman Mirai Kuriyama when it appears as if she is about to attempt suicide by jumping off of the school rooftop. Mirai is isolated because of her ability to manipulate blood, which is considered heresy even among other members of the underworld, so she is shunned. Soon after Akihito saves Mirai, disturbing events begin to arise. Read more at ANN Link to Watch Beyond the boundary hulu Angel Beats Synopsis Otonashi awakens only to learn he is dead. Week 14 is upon us. Its now time to decide which anime the club should watch and discuss this week. The poll will be active for 48hrs-ish. One Week Friends Current This was suggested by @Vitalius saying "Adorable slice of life about a girl who forgets her happy memories every week but remembers her sad ones and a boy who just wants to be her friend. Right in the feels. We should watch it because feels."
-
Week 15 is upon us. Its now time to decide which anime the club should watch and discuss this week. The poll will be active for 48hrs-ish. The World Is Still Beautiful (Soredemi Sekai wa Utsukushii) Current This was suggested by @Vitalius saying "It's kind of slice of life, but in a more serious way. I know that sounds like it's an oxymoron, but you'd have to watch it to know what I mean. The story is serious, yet the interaction between the characters isn't, if that makes sense."

Yaho mina-san! Week 13 is upon us. Its now time to decide which anime the club should watch and discuss this week. The poll will be active for 48hrs-ish. Nisekoi Current This was suggested by @Vitalius saying "Slice of life romance comedy harem. As if there aren't enough of them, right? Well, I enjoyed this one because the music was pretty good, the art was enjoyable and the story wasn't absurd until about half way through (way too many coincidences), but regardless, I found it good."

We had favourite anime, then the TOP 3 or 5 or even 10. This time its RANT TIME! Post anime titles that wont even be explained a "WTFisthisshit" or any other word. There had to be that one (or few most likely) that you stopped watching after few minutes or after some episode or hoped it will get better and watched whole season and yet it failed... Right now for me it were: Zero No Tsukaima 3rd season (stopped in the middle of 1st episode; couldnt stand retarted level of the main dude) Kujibiki Unbalanced (ohh god why?) Mushiuta [rest coming soon]

Why not to burst bubble for most people who wanna go to Japan only because they are anime fans or freaks. I know most part is no magic (including super powers), humanoids (well they are working on it afaik) or bigass robots. Many people asked why they would wanna live in Japan said because they like anime and truth is people over there dont like that part and use "Japan is not Anime". Soo your thoughts on difference between what you see on TV (anime) or read (manga) vs you saw (in person or on TV) and know about Japan. You can add also why you would like to live or just visit country of Sakura trees.

Basically an Anime called Ghost Stories did so bad in Japan, that when it was voiced over for the english language, the voice actors were given free reign on the script. This makes for a HILARIOUS Script. Honestly, These guys must have the BEST JOBS EVAR. Part 1 http://youtu.be/SxJ4VWoeOzs Part 2 http://youtu.be/JsYeeNywXL4 Part 3 http://youtu.be/ZX4mJn36fs4

Microsoft just released a short anime on their Internet Explorer YouTube channel called "Internet Explorer: The Anime -- feat Inori Aizawa" (click link to watch). Internet Explorer-tan is called "Inori Aizawa" and there isn't really much more to say. You will be able to download a special version of IE11 with a skin of the new mascot in the near future. Post on the official facebook page: Download page (no links up yet) Test it out if you use IE9 I should add that this is not the first time Microsoft does something like this. With the launch of Windows 7 they announced "Nanami Madobe", their cloud server software Azure has its own -tan called "Claudia", Sliverlight-tan is called "Hikaru" and Windows 8 has two mascots called "Madobe Yu" and "Madobe Ai" (as in, UI). There are a few more but you get the point. There have been unofficial OS-tans for quite a long time but it seems like Microsoft likes the idea and will continue to make official ones for their products. And here is an image of her:

This Weeks Anime! No Game No Life Synopsis The story of No Game, No Life centers around Sora and Shiro, a brother and sister whose reputations as brilliant NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) hikikomori (shut-in) gamers have spawned urban legends all over the Internet. These two gamers even consider the real world as just another "crappy game." One day, they are summoned by a boy named "God" to an alternate world. There, God has prohibited war and declared this to be a world where "everything is decided by games"—even national borders. Humanity has been driven back into one remaining city by the other races. Will Sora and Shiro, the good-for-nothing brother and sister, become the "Saviors of Humanity" on this alternate world? "Well, let's start playing." My Opinion I've heard tons of good things about this one so I'm looking forward to marathoning it~! If you've got no life you've got no game! To Kick Off Discussion No one ever reads this huh? So this will be fleshed out far more at a later date (likely tomorrow). For now suggest anime for the future polls. There needs to be at least one sentance supporting your suggestion and a link to the description from any of these sites: ANN, AniDB, MAL, or IMDb. The suggestion will be entered into their respective categories in the order that they are received.

Yaho mina-san! Week 11 is upon us. Its now time to decide which anime the club should watch and discuss this week. The poll will be active for 48hrs-ish. For the current anime this week we have No Game No Life. This was suggested by @Epitome saying "It deals with living in world dominated by games, I feel it it does this very well, it does it in a strategic way like log horizon but also a funny and light hearted way." ANN | AniDB | MAL | IMDb For the recent anime this week we have Sunday Without God. This was suggested by @TetraSky saying "It's one of those anime that had me captivated from the very beginning and I couldn't stop watching, just had to see all the episodes in one go. It's an Adventure/Action anime that provide a well-told story. Don't be put off by the title as I first was, it's not a religious anime in the least." ANN | AniDB | MAL | IMDb For the Post-2007 anime this week we have Nodame Cantabile. This was suggested by @Charger saying "It is a good story about two classical musicians which i think has a really nice visual style and a lot of good music." ANN | AniDB | MAL | IMDb For the Pre-2007 anime this week we have R.O.D The TV. This was suggested by @Vitalius saying "There's an OVA/Movie, then the TV series. The movie is Sci-Fi/Action/Espionage while the TV Series is Sci-Fi/Action/Slice of Life (I love this combination of genres). I recommend watching both. The TV Series is 26 episodes." ANN | AniDB | MAL | IMDb For the randomly picked anime this week we have Nichijou. This was suggested by @Legion saying ""Why I'm suggesting it. It's a simple anime. Its not too long and has some cute relate able characters with a bit of hijinks. Not going to be everyones cup of tea. But some people will enjoy it. It employs a simple animation style with nice over the top exaggerations."
