So I was trying to overclock my GPU (GTX 750Ti FTW) using PrecisionX 16. I open up the program while not doing anything else and it shows 1188MHz clock, which is the default clock (It should be lower since its idle). I set the GPU clock offset to +115, and the clock speed is stuck at 1188MHz. I also changed the memory clock to +55. I went on to GPU-z, and the clock speed showed 1204MHz. But when I went to the sensors tab on GPU-Z it shows the same (default) values as PrecisionX. When I go into FurMark the GPU clock starts showing the actual values on PrecisionX, and GPU-Z. Is it because the GPU is not at full usage and its not showing anything under 1188 MHz ? Is the GPU actually overclocked ? Is there anything I can do to fix this ? Images

Going to buy a 2nd hand gpu to slap into my hp computer (with an athlon x4 640) to do me until there is a few new polaris and pascal gpu's on the market. These are my options: GTX 550ti 1gb for €40 GTX 650ti for 1gb €70 Radeon HD7770 1gb x-edition €65 GTX 750ti 2gb €120 (NEW) The main games I want to run are Xcom 2 and TW Warhammer and if possible WItcher 3 at some kinda playable low settings. These are the prices in Ireland so the're worse than USA but I just can't decide what's the best option. Any help would be greatly appreciated so thanks in advance to any responders.

So i currently run a A8 7650k rig overclocked to 4GHZ on integrated graphics, so im looking for a dedicated graphics card, the problem is im not sure what way to go Option 1: Get an R7 250 for roughly $75 and run it in duel graphics mode along side the APU Option 2: Get a GTX 750 TI for about $115 and run it as a single card What would you suggest is the better option for the money?

Hey guys, I am putting my first build together for general use with a little gaming and maybe some media streaming. For games it will mostly not be any new games, mostly last gen I figure. Do think there are any bottlenecks or general oversites I have made? https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Tangent5/saved/#view=YhmV3C

I had flashed a shitty bios onto my 750ti (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1N83UA1021&cm_re=750ti-_-14-487-025-_-Product) My backup seems to of deleted itself so I was wondering if anyone has the same card and can get that for me The one on the TechPowerup Forums didn't work to resolve my issue. I've looked in quite a few places and I cannot find it for my card

I have an old(ish) HP computer and I was wondering which type/version/make of a 750ti would be most acceptable with a 300~watt psu. Thank you cx

I don't know what setting i changed but when i play games, example League of Legends and CSGO. I go to places that are not warded in league my screen brightness will be lowered down and when I stay in places that are warded my screen brightness back to normal. When I play in CSGO, I go to places that are darker my screen brightness also will be lowered down. This happened right after I install the GPU

Always learning, I came across this thread talking about a [cheap] way to increase overall GPU performance: http://www.volnapc.com/all-posts/how-much-difference-does-a-dedicated-physx-card-make In the post, adding a cheap 650 to a Titan SLI set up saw pretty moderate gains overall. What are your opinions on purchasing a separate GPU to perform Physx processes? I suppose the current market would suggest purchasing a 750ti to perform this (Or maybe a 660).

Last night a friend and I installed a GTX 750 Ti into his system (specs below) and discovered some rather... interesting issues. He launched up GTA:V, and we noticed performance was no less than shocking. Every group of settings we tried had the same results - anywhere from 8 to 24 FPS, averaging around 15. Running at anything from 1920x1080 at a medium-high preset t0 1280x720, with everything as low as possible and on DirectX10. We went to bed, and slept on it. I came back this morning, and started some testing. Here's what I've found. Every other game has this issue. (TF2 and Gmod have been tested, we assume others are too) The GTA intro movie and streaming any films or shows also has the same sort of lag. MSI Afterburner reports that the GPU is hardly being touched - nothing more than 11% used, while the CPU is screaming at 100% all the time. The BIOS is set to use the PCI-E GPU. His CPU is overclocked to 4.0 Ghz Turbo. I think the key point here is emboldened - the GPU is never shown being used. My Google-Fu has told me that it's probably a bottleneck, but nobody else with this setup is finding one, and honestly, a GTX 750 Ti should not be bottlenecked by a Pentium G3258. I have updated drivers, tried older drivers, nothing changed. Update DirectX, no change. I am tempted to see if putting it on Windows 10 would be of any use. Any help would be much obliged. Specs: Athlon x4 860k EVGA 750Ti sc MSI A78M-E35 V2 Seasonic 430eco Hyper 212 evo Some Sandisk SSD I salvaged WD Green 1tb Okay, so a few months ago I was playing games like Skyrim and Dishonored at 60fps without a hitch on max settings. I even had about 20 mods installed for skyrim and nothing was even slightly stuttering. Fast forward to 3 days ago, I load skyrim, deicde to play a new game, and bam. 7fps in a good mood. It even went as low as 2fps. Nothing new had been installed at all on my PC for a while, nothing could've physically hit my computer and damaged the GPU, I've scoured forums upon forums trying to find fixes believing it was just an error in the game. After reinstalling it and still having this issue, I tried deleting all of my saves - this got me up to 30fps outside and 50fps inside on the lowest possible settings. The other day I loaded up Cities: Skylines - a game where I got about 30fps on medium settings. I had a similar issue and wouldn't get anywhere over 10fps in a city of 7,000. It's not bottlenecked because it was able to hit 60fps previously, It's currently running at 31°C and as far as i'm aware it hasn't been at dangerous temperatures. All of my components were bought brand new last september, all of my drivers are up to date - i've also tried running the nvidia driver from when I got 60fps. Vsync is disabled where possible in games that lag, and i'm just so confused as to why I'm not getting my usual performance. Now, my monitor is running at the wonky resolution of 1842x1036, but it has been the whole time i've had my pc, it's definitely 60Hz because I can get 60fps in certain menu screens, and as I'm typing this now i'm noticing that the image on the display is jumping up and down randomly for a split second. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Recently I bought an EVGA GTX 750Ti with an AMD FX 6300, all with stock coolers. I would like to overclock my GPU, however I am not sure what is the best, stable, and performance enhancing settings for this card. In other words, I would like to know the GPU Clock (Mhz) and Memory Clock (Mhz) for the overclocking. Graphics Card: http://secure1.ncix.com/products/?sku=94331 If anyone has this card, do you have any recommendations?

The average firestrike score with a 750ti is 5650 (http://www.futuremark.com/hardware/gpu/NVIDIA+GeForce+GTX+750+Ti/review?_ga=1.58010282.1688685591.1460141918) My firestrike score with it is 3902 (http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/11786147) This is with all newest drivers and actually a 130mhz overclock on the gpu The model in question is the Evga 750ti (http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-3751-KR) Is there any logical explanation to this?

Started and have almost finished my first ever gaming build. Really don't expect to run ultra high settings for any games but would love to play current and future games. Please leave a comment bellow saying what I should expect when it comes playing current and new games at 1080p. Here is my build. BTW the build will fit under $600 CAD including the tax and shipping. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/P6mFcf Thanks

Just as the title says, anyone knows the exact size of the mounting holes of the 750ti? I know they are smaller than the usual size for the GTX cards, but i would like to know the exact length between the holes, heard it was 44mm by 44mm, but not sure if that's true. Basically i want to take a 750ti, take the cooler off and make a single slot cooler, the card will have to be low profile aswell. Yes i know it's better to buy a new small case and be done with it, but where's the fun in that?

So I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from an AMD R7 240 2gb. I want to get and ASUS GTX 750ti 4GB. I want to know if I am going to get a bottleneck elsewhere in my system. I have an AMD A10-7800 and 8GB DDR3. Thanks!

Hey forum Im gonna be building a secondary gaming PC and HTPC. I'm buying some new parts and reusing some others. my aim is to just have a smallish PC that is quiet and can sit next to my family's TV and play movies, play casual games, store some photos and movies and well as stream from the likes of Google play movies and Spotify. It may also be picked up and taken away for LANs or if I have a friend over to play somthing like CSGO and they don't have a computer to bring I don't really have a set budget but is want it to be as cheap as possible. I'm in Perth Australia, so as long as I can get it shipped here or bought locally I'm good. I plan for it to be run on a 50" 1080p TV (not sure if it is 60 or 30 htz refresh rate). I may also run it on a 21/23/24/27" 1080p 60htz panel for LANs or somthing like that PARTS i5 2500 (used and already have) AsRock H61M-DGS R2.0 LGA1155 Micro ATX ($48.00 Newegg) Mushkin Enhanced ECO2 2x4gb DDR3 1600 ($33.99 Newegg) Plait 750ti (used and already have) Sandisk Ultra II 480gb SSD (new and already have) or Hitachi 1tb 7200rpm HDD (used and already have) Raidmax Hyperion MATX-102WBU MicroATX Case ($54.99 Newegg) Corsair CX430M (Newegg $44.99) Noctua NHL9i (Newegg $42.50) 3x Noctua NFF12 (Newegg $19.99 ea) Kinguin Windows ($20.00) Notes i know the cooling is a little high end for this kind of a PC but I wasn't to have a silent system I already have a few used install disks and usb drives for Windows 10. I hear that you don't need an install key? How do I make the 750ti quieter. I have put the fans to constantly run at the minimum in Afterburner and they still are loud. It runs cool. How does the i5 2500 stack up to somthing like a Pentium g4400 or a i3 6100?

So today I bought GTX 750ti for folding at home and later use as a gaming card for my brothers pc. but after I installed the GPU installed the drivers restarted my computer. I loaded up FAHControl and let both of my GPUs fold the 770 was and still is folding just fine. but when I try to fold on both GPUs the GTX 750ti always fail. It will run by it self but not together. how could this be. I got the card for 110 euros and got the G3258 with it (the overclockable Pentium, which ill be using for that same gaming pc). does anyone have any expiriecne with folding on windows with multiple different GPUs. Thank u in advanced

Ok so i just found a deal on a used 280X that i thoght i would pick up for my brother, he has a FX-6300 and a 750TI right now so how much better would a 280X be and would it be bottlenecked by the fx6300? thanks for any replies and any help

First of all I would like to thank you guys in advance for giving some useful insights and suggestion. Just having the time to click my thread and read it means so much already. This will be my first time in making a gaming computer for myself and using my own funds. I just graduated college and some what landed a job. but of course being a good son. I am helping out at home with bills and expenses. Limited funds are available to me hence the 300$ budget. I already purchased a gtx 750 ti which is on sale in my country (Philippines). It was price roughly around 130$ if you convert our currency to american mullah. so I'm left with 170$ of my budget. I will however will save up to upgrade some parts sometime in the future. For now i really want to utilize the 750 ti that i purchase that will not bottleneck it. the only parts that I have is the gpu. So i'm asking for help what should be a good alternative for now so that i play some casual games and mmorpg like DOTA 2 / Blade and Soul / Black Desert Online / CSGO. Maybe COD Black Ops 3. I already have a 1080p monitor in the mix. so 1080p gaming is my aim.In settings for now i wouldn't mind mid to high settings or even low. as long as i can hit an average 60fps. Fill in the blanks CPU - Mobo - GPU - Zotac Gtx 750 ti 2gb ddr5 Ram - Hdd - PSU - Case - P.S English is not may first language. I just hope I was able to explain what my thoughts are. P.S.S. I think purchasing 2nd hand items are not an issue to me.

Currently Building a entry level gaming pc for the budget of $700 shipping and tax all included. Currently my build is: AMD FX-6300 for $150 GIGABYTE AMD 970 atx motherboard $90 G.Skills Ripjaw 2x4gb 1600mhz ram $55 Segate Barracuda 1tb hard drive $65 EVGA GTX 750 TI $180 Still haven't decided the power supply or case for the I want a good deal for the power supply and I really don't care about the case design as long as it is good for all my components and has good air flow Do you have any suggestions for these parts. Also is there any parts I should switch to get an equally performing component for a cheaper price. I have already ordered the graphics card. Furthermore I really want to get a full atx motherboard for future upgrades. Would love the advice. BTW all the listed prices are in Canadian mostly on newegg and ncix. Just in case no one realized the graphics card was part of the budget of $700 so I only have $520 left for the rest of the components.
