  1. Yes it does fit, everything. And you can play Dota 2 and eSports-related titles in Full HD easily with a good midrange GPU like the AMD Radeon R7 370. Plus an SSD for fast Windows boot-up and a nice 500Gb hard drive for extra storage. Since your budget is quite tight, I can only have a Pentium CPU, but it does the job well enough for you, and 8Gb DDR4 memory is more than enough
  2. It's a bit tough since I can't get pricing in Malaysia. I've just come up with this build, that is the case and all of the necessary components, without the monitor and peripherals. I'm quite scared that this build might cost you more than 400 USD in your country. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/NationsAnarchy/saved/#view=JWzQzy This is a pretty damn good build for eSports titles/internet cafe PCs ... imo
  3. At least the OLDER ones are affected by acceleration, Linus sometimes mention that on some of his gaming mice video reviews. I can't say that acceleration is bad or good, it totally depends on the user, if they can handle it without a problem then I would say it's not at all. Meanwhile, most of the top players I know prefer optical/infrared sensor, rather than laser sensor (of course there are exceptions). Which is why I would recommend optical/infrared over laser for the majority of people out there looking for a gaming mouse. Actually before I had my G502, I was thinking between the older G500s with a laser sensor and the G502 with a newer and more advanced optical sensor. The acceleration factor of that G500s wasn't clearly explained/detailed when I looked it up, so I ended up getting the G502.
  4. I mean laser gaming mice in general The G402 has an optical/infrared sensor right ?
  5. @Tfkt1 And my G502 has to handle all of my gaming needs haha
  6. @Tfkt1 I assume that you might play FPS mainly by those 2 mice ? Since ergonomic-wise they aren't quite the best for me. I'm having a G502 which has more button and a better sensor (minus the Fusion engine which the G402 has), as far as the Razer Mamba TE goes, I might see myself picking the DeathAdder instead, since it's Optical/Infrared versus the Mamba's Laser sensor which I don't quite like (although I've heard that laser sensor has went on better with those acceleration issue, I'm sure you might know that). Of course I do see you mention that you really enjoyed the Taipan - which has a laser sensor in fact. So overall, tough tough decision
  7. Tough choice for me personally. I could make use of both. I'm gonna give a slight edge to the G402 Hyperion Fury still, like 55-45
  8. Grettings, fellow Ancient warrior ! Can you link the site of where do you want to buy the hardware so I can help you ? I'm in I can use PCPartPicker anyway

Nah I'm not that worrysome about the password-changing stuff from the forums. Besides I linked my Facebook/Twitter/main Steam account to this profile, so no god damn need to worry. I've been away from the site for about 3-4 months, same as you anyway. Was blown away from the new design, then decided to stay on for a while just to comment on any shit that I can help people/share my opinions whenever possible.

What's up bro ? Remember me ? Same reaction man, I just got back like one day ago.
  12. Haha not a problem to me at least. Good luck purchasing your new mouse mate (I assume that you're British with that location name )
  13. Cougar are Germany-made so they're pretty high quality as far as I concern, and yes they're not that popular compare to the known brands on the market, so it'll be quite hard to find people using them for you to see their opinions. And it's totally suitable with your against-the-flow approach. Best wishes
  14. Can you give us the detailed links/specifications to each product please ? That would be great and appreciated so we can help you better.
  15. The Dominator kit has a more advanced heatsink, better memory chips and are better for overclocking, that's the difference I can tell. Whereas the Vengeance kit is more of a basic kit without tackling too much into OC.
  16. Kudos to this man ! Exactly why I don't use macros on my G502 Proteus Core. This just isn't quite on point at all.
  17. I'd suggest the Steelseries Rival 100 or the Logitech G302 Daedalus Prime, both are solid gaming mice with good price point, and they're ambidextrous as well, unlike the ergonomic-intended Cougar. If you want an ergonomic one, then I'd say the Razer DeathAdder Chroma with a bit more premium price and fits well with most hands I'm a bit scared that you probably have already looked up to all of those regconized brands first, and then went on to see those Cougar mice.
  18. Should've been posted under Video Cards section. Anyway, that should be fine for you, and it's super nice that you can have the 2nd 980 Ti down the line, it's gonna improve things even more.
  19. Yay ! New looks for the forum ! Perfect !

  20. I would say that get a cheap laptop, and spend the rest on something else. Programming isn't that demanding
  21. I don't really see the point of a 4Gb 960 tbh I'd choose the 380
  22. What about other switches ? Or you rather have the geniune Cherry MX instead ?
  23. Not exactly "built" - my first PC was an old Pentium 4 chassy with 512Mb DDR400 RAM, 80Gb IDE drive, and a 5:4 LCD monitor, almost 9-10 years ago
  24. Get a cheaper Z97 board, probably gaming-oriented one, you'll save a good bunch of money instead of buying that WS board 32Gb of RAM is overkill, 16 is enough, unless you have some really specific work that utilize that much of RAM. Overall, what's your budget for this PC ? And please, concentrate all of your question to one single topic, and follow them to see others responses
