  1. my favorite thing is the amazing screen on LG G3
  2. what I like about HTC is their journey through time, from the days of O2 XDA Atom to HTC Touch and finally HTC One M8 they have grown as a company in more ways than one and have created some superb designs and stunning hardware.
  3. here is my post with no reply on this forum http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/41148-need-help-linksys-ea4500-usb-attached-external-hdd-errors/
  4. want a sincere advice ... dont buy it ... i have recently bought EA4500 router ( because of linus and slick rave reviews about it in their previous tech tips archive videos and all) turned out its just an okay router for just routing devices for internet.... infact whole EA series is total flop if you ever intend to use a storage device with its usb ports. their software is too damn buggy .... if you create any sorts of quotas or shares on the network drive. it just stops working randomly and then you have to fix permissions by plugging to a pc. and even with just one admin account if you copy files to the network drive they just automatically disappear. I have copied 15gb of videos on the drive in the root folder 3 times and after a couple of hours they just vanish. I even posted on this forum but no one replied. I have WD 500gb usb 3 drive which is brand new . "google usb drive errors linksys Eaxxxx" series you will see fourm threads filled with it and no apparent solution. If i were you i would look at asus or netgear ac routers they work flawlessly. and their network range is b better than linksys EA series
  5. Hello ... I need help from any person with experience with Linksys EA4500 router. I have one with latest firmware and cloud connect installed. I also have Western Digital 500gb My passport usb 3.0 drive connected to it on USB port mapped as network drive. secure file sharing enabled and media server and ftp server are disabled. the drive partition type is MBR and not GPT The problem i am facing is that after some random duration the drive disappears from the linksys could connect USB panel and pressing the refresh button does not bring it back. the only solution to it that i have right now is that i have have to unplug it from the router . connect it to my laptop and let windows run "Fix Errors" after which the drive reappears on the network and is detected by the router when connected. there is a thread about this particular error with variety of drives with various densities on linksys forums but with no remedy. has anyone else ran into similar situation and if fixed it may i know how ? When this error occurs. disconnecting and then reconnecting drive to router without "fix errors via laptop" doesn't fix this. neither does router restart have any effect. The only reason i went for this router over others was the fact linus and slick always recommend this router over others and since i did not have any ac standard devices at my place i did not opt for the 6xxx series.
