  1. Oops sorry about that, I was reading on Techpowerup and didn't see that wccf had a similar article although wccf only had the 3D mark 11-Sky Diver benchmark while Techpowerup has the continued benchmarks with 3D mark Firestrike.
  2. Radeon Fury X Outperforms GeForce GTX Titan X @ $650 - TechPowerUp AMD's new flagship $649 R9 Fury X GPU outperforms Nvidia's flagship GeForce GTX Titan X a $999 card in leaked 3DMark 11 benchmarks Korean tech publication ITCM.co.kr. The R9 Fury (non-X) at $550 is performing very close to the $650 GeForce GTX 980 Ti. The benches see the R9 Fury X score higher than the GTX Titan X in all three tests, while the R9 Fury is almost as fast as the GTX 980 Ti. The cards maintain their winning streak over NVIDIA even with memory-intensive tests such as 3DMark Fire Strike Ultra (4K), but buckle with 5K. These two cards, which are bound for the market within the next 30 days were tested alongside the R9 390X, which is not too far behind the GTX 980. Scheduled release June 24. 3. Unless Titan X is using stacked memory but they can't as thats AMD technology or has a 20nm GPU unlikely it seems 390x could still be faster and cheaper...maybe. small table completely unconfirmed
  4. You should have played Assetto Corsa probably one of the best driving sims out there, and if your wife isn't letting you keep it how are you planing on getting rid of it garage sale it or something? might be quite a bit in shipping.
  5. This seems like a dick move to straight up lie about the specifications of your device and then say there was an "error" really? False Technical Specifications Memory Size: 4GB VRAM at 224GB/S What Nvidia should have told us, Technical Specifications Memory Size: 3.5GB VRAM Primary at 224GB/s and Secondary reserve 0.5GB VRAM at 6-25GB/S as pointed out in the WAN show. I don't own a 970 but If I was one of those people to drop a bunch of cash on 2 970's in SLI for high res gaming just to have FPS fall off the cliff and games stuttering past 3.5GB VRAM I'd be pretty disappointed to.
  6. Well if I had a 5820k I would go out and get a intel X99 and use it for gaming and 3D rendering
  7. Pretty sure that hydro 980 has a EK block on it as theirs the "E" logo in the bottom right. As for the ACX classified they definitely should have stayed with Black and Brushed Silver which accent very well. I suppose this overused red is for the RED EVGA X99 MOBO's.
  8. We're customers. This product is one that is being sold not only for it's technical specs, but largely on it's aethetic appeal. They have done something that changes that aesthetic appeal 'at the last minute', in a very negative way, for a portion of people. It may be a minor change to you, but it's a subjective thing, there are clearly quite a number who find it more than minor. We don't owe Corsair our money. We're telling them that one of the reasons we chose to buy Corsair versus other brands is that their products had a visual appeal (in addition to the functional side) that we liked, and that this new branding completely undermines that. We shoudn't need to fix logo's when buying a $170 keyboard.
  9. As said before me "Corsair Sails away any day". Seriously the critical word here is "unnecessary" there was NO NEED FOR THIS. Who ever approved that last minute logo design is just plain dumb. My first reaction when I saw that logo was "What the actual f**k is that? Its like they want to be MSI with gaming yellow but I can say its not working out at all. Before and looking very nice indeed: After: Corsair are getting annihilated on their FB every comment is "Keep the old logo"
  10. I guarantee watching LinusTechTips and TechQuickie will increase your Intelligence levels significantly. Thanks for all the awesome content you create oh and you helped me build my first PC and with that PC I was able to create some skins for one of my favorite games Assetto Corsa and here they are: if by some chance you also have Assetto Corsa and would like these skins you can get them here: http://bit.ly/1tMCA1W Once again thanks Linus!
  11. Add this one to the Asus X99 line up although this one is "Workstation Grade". You get lots of PCIe 3.0 slots which If I'm not mistaken this board supports for 4-way CrossFireX and SLI running at 16x speeds. All for a friendly $519 MSRP will probably be cheaper once available at Newegg & Amazon. Original Article: http://www.brightsideofnews.com/2014/08/27/asus-x99-e-ws-motherboard-leaked/
  12. I don't think AMD just said fuck the 780 and rivaled the 780ti instead. You must have forgotten about the R9 290 (which I have the Tri-X version) that rivals the GTX 780 and 290x for 780ti is my understanding.
  13. They obviously sold out to Microsoft for a shit ton of money or there trolling us. I think its the money though.
  14. Corsair are being dead silent they could at least give an update and if they have I haven't heard about it. The keyboard looked pretty good at Computex. Im only interested because I want to buy my first mechanical keyboard and may as well go for the RGB programming over a single backlit color.
