Hey guys,
so my crucial m4 boot drive started acting up lately and now refuses to boot into windows (hangs on black screen). I had my computer set up so that Windows and certain applications were installed on there, and the rest (games, programs, documents, files) were on a separate HDD (Seagate 1TB). I plan to get a MX100 as my new boot drive and RMA the M4. So my questions are:
1. Is it safe to clone the old SSD onto the new one, it may or may not be corrupt? (Plug and play option)
2. If I have to install fresh Windows onto the new drive, is there anyway to get the applications and programs from the HDD working? or will I have to reinstall each and every one of those?
thanks for your help
