  1. I just purchased a new Galaxy S21 unlocked and I'm using it with T-Mobile. Calls, texts, and data all work on data and on Wi-Fi, the 5G works and everything, but I'm having issues using certain Google apps. I can open the Play Store and view apps just fine, but if I try to install one it will infinitely say "pending" until I connect to Wi-Fi. Also, when I try to use Youtube I am able to browse and search, but if I click on a video it will just pull up the thumbnail with the loading animation and never start the video. I know I am not in a bad signal area, I ran a speedtest and I'm getting 30-90mbps down around town, and I'm able to get Youtube to work just fine in a mobile browser. I already went through and cleared the cache and data for Youtube as I read recommended somewhere, and I've done numerous reboots over the past few days. I also made sure they were both allowed to use mobile data, and that data saver was off. I am out of ideas and can't seem to find any help via quick google searches, so I'm hoping you guys can help me out.
  2. Yes, I wanted a wired connection for all the consoles/PC but I also wanted better Wi-Fi on my 1st floor in general for phones and other smart devices. Despite saying I wasn't going to do any research, I now think what I'm going to do is get a simple unmanaged switch to connect the router and consoles to and also get a wireless access point to hook up as well to have better signal downstairs.
  3. I’m looking for some advice on a network setup. I currently live in a two-story home, with the modem and router upstairs so that my roommates and I can have ethernet connections for our PCs. However, when downstairs we have weak Wi-Fi signal, and all of our game consoles download speeds are very slow. So, right now we have a 100’ Ethernet running down that we switch between the PS4, Xbone and our living room PC. I was thinking about getting a network switch, having that 100’ cable plug into it and then sharing the connection between all the consoles, but then I was also thinking having a device that could also extend the Wi-Fi would be good. Which I realize means I’d just be hooking up a router to a router, which I think I remember you can’t actually do. I realize I could spend a couple hours researching and find my answer, but I wanted to take the lazy route and ask you guys. Can I hook up a router to a router? Is there specifically some kind of network switch/Wi-Fi extender out there I can buy? My current router is the TP-Link Archer A7. -Thanks in advance
  4. I tried this, and it didn't work. I basically gave up and went out to get another 3600, but when I put it in it still wouldn't boot. So now I'm thinking my board is dead
  5. I did manually input a frequency change, but I left the voltage to Auto.
  6. Yeah, I tried flashing the BIOS. No post, just stays on a black screen. The boot light goes to VGA and stops there
  7. I just built a new computer yesterday. I got windows installed on it and everything working. It's a Ryzen 3600 on a Gigabyte B450 pro wifi, 32gb of corsair memory, 750w 80+ gold Seasonic PSU and a GTX 1070ti. I put it together yesterday, everything worked fine, I installed windows and some games and used it for about 6 hours straight. Today, I decided to try to overclock the CPU by just a bit. I noticed it was running fine at 4ghz so I tried to bump it up to 4.2ghz, but no boot. So I bridged the clear CMOS pins, but still no boot. So I unplugged it and pulled the battery. Still no boot. I've overclocked multiple computers before, and I can't believe a 200mhz bump could have killed my CPU. Is there anything else I should try? The computer turns on, everything lights up, the fans ramp up and then slow down but nothing happens. I also tried swapping the GPU for my old R9 290 but that didn't net any results either. I've tried forcing a bios backup, a gigabyte feature, I've also taken out and put the CPU back in and tried taking out 2-3 sticks of RAM. There is an error LED on my motherboard, but it gets passed CPU every time. Any ideas?
  8. I'm doing my first Ryzen build, and given all the reviews I've seen showing RAM speed effects the performance of Zen 2, I bought a 3600MHz kit that was on sale. Now I'm trying to figure out if I need a X570 board to make that speed work. I don't need any of the new features, so if I can get an X470 board for cheaper then I'll be happy. I'm specifically looking at the Gigabyte Auorus Ultra X470 Gaming. I've tried to do some research, but all I can find is some speculation from before launch with no updates after Zen 2 was released. I'm hoping someone here has that board, can point me towards an older board that will work, or will at least be able to answer if the older boards can run 3600MHz with the Infinity fabric at 1:1 Also, someone else told me the RAM kit I got is bad for Ryzen and I should return it. I'm hoping someone here can give me some insight on if that is true or not. Here is the kit I purchased https://www.newegg.com/corsair-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820236554?Item=N82E16820236554
  9. My favorite thing I saw in the review was the software tweaks that let you run multiple Windows and reply to texts without leaving apps! I would love to have that on my phone, hope I win
  10. My favorite part is the build quality, the feel of the metal, the weight, the speakers. No one compares to HTC Nice video dude, keep it up!
  11. Love the work, guys! Excited to get started up on the forum, and I hope I win the giveaway :)
