I'm looking for a head set for price of cloud/cloud 2 head set that lasts and has "virtual surround sound". It doesn't matter to me if its "true 7.1 surround" as long as it sounds like it (I had a corsair HS40, so something like that). The could 2 where I live costs around 97 USD. I would prefer not to get any higher then that. I was honestly happy with my HS40 and wish they wouldn't have broke.

How long have you had it for? I was careful with mine as well. I just came home one day and it was broken. I just want to make sure that the next head set I get will last.

So my headphones just broke, and It didn't last very long (just over a year), so I'm looking for a new 7.1 head set. I wanted to ask any of you who owned a hyper x cloud or cloud 2 for a while (2 years plus), how well has it lasted over time? I just want to make sure the next head set I buy will last and not brake in a year. If you had a 7.1 headset that is around the same price and lasted this long as well, I would be glad to know as well. Thanks

I really like the gtx 970 in general, it beats the r9 290 with price and performance. the amp extreme is a good example, has a good price with that beast cooler. -
