  1. Sapphire Vapor-X Tri-X just because it has the best cooling.
  2. I'd cut the ram by half and still get the evo cooler I heard it is pretty nice, I'd change the 960 for another GPU though.
  3. Now : Windows 7, wait until some reviews on 10 and if you like it go 10.
  4. I'd say R9 390x too, had a nice amount of Vram, I've heard that VRam is a nice thing to have when going above 1080p gaming.
  5. Never looked into 1440p monitors, but you won't be benefitting from the Free-sync if you have a Nvidia card though, so that can be out of the question. But I have heard that freesync is practicly free and shouldn't bump up any costs of a monitor, I don't think this is what happens in practice though. But if you are thinking of ever going AMD it will be nice if you buy one, if not, don't even bother picking one up.
  6. I'm gonna get a (stupidly overkill) R9 390 for a 1080p monitor, I've heard that Vram is the thing to look for when going for a higher res display, meaning that if you want to play at 1080p 4Gb is enough to play most games without all 4Gb getting used. Otherwise if you want to play something like 1440p (like you want) you would want to look into something with more Vram, like my R9 390 (which has 8Gb of Vram). As for ultra-wide I never looked into so I don't know, but some monitors to look into? http://www.amazon.com/PG278Q-27-Inch-Screen-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B00MSOND8C http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-MG279Q-Screen-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B00ZOO348C/ref=zg_bsnr_1292115011_5?tag=amazon0606-20 http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-XR3501-Screen-LED-lit-Monitor/dp/B01047I0X2/ref=sr_1_1?tag=amazon0606-20&s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1435928834&sr=1-1&keywords=BenQ+XR3501 They are stupidly expensive for my taste though.
  7. I'd recommend anything above 4GB Vram, if you like the pricing of a 970 go for a R9 390 or something like that, if you go higher you can get stronger GPUs in the form of a 980Ti or Titan X or on the AMD side the Fury X.
  8. Black + White is beautiful, at least I think so, but Purple + Black is still my favourite of any color combinations, looking forward to see the build though!
  9. Gonna build my first PC, no intention of throwing any of the boxes away, I'll probably just put them somewhere and look at them from time to time.
  10. I'd check first what the hell you are gonna buy component wise and if you need extra fans on your case if either your case isn't that good with his stock fans or if your components will run too hot. Then the money, and then try to get some help here on the forums to optimize money -> performance, I mean I did it today and actually it went perfectly, now got a pretty nice build for my money, except for the CPU but hey, can't complain about the help I got.
  11. I fucked up, the budget is lower it should be 985 euro, because I need 300 for a monitor, since I don't really own one yet, been playing on laptops the whole time.
  12. Budget is around 1285 euro and I live in belgium, probably gonna buy from the netherlands because they are better in pricing. The best site I have found for now is azerty.nl, alternate.be and tweakers.net to get a little help for pricing too.
