  1. Ultra Short Throw, 1080P, Small, Compact! and the list goes on, this projector is lit. Love it and would be an awesome upgrade to my home theatre (Currently using a 1024x768 resolution mitsubishi projector, haha).
  2. I uninstalled my graphics driver and played around with the iGPU for a couple of hours. Then I installed 344.65 graphic drivers and all worked well for BF3! But once i started titanfall, the FPS spikes started again for BF3 also ! ARGH! Is titanfall changing any crucial system settings or what not? Why is it that AFTER playing titanfall, i would not be able to play bf3 etc properly?
  3. Yeah, its a notebook. My temperatures are pretty safe, 60~80°C with the max threshold at 105°C. Its not overclocking or underclocking. When I commented before it was at 2.9Ghz while playing BF3 but now it is at 2.6Ghz. Can't be thermal throttling as it isn't reaching near the thermal threshold.
  4. I just found out something new regarding my situation. Even though I uninstalled my graphic drivers, i still get that lag on my iGPU. Is it my CPU throttling? Its running at 2.9 Ghz.
  5. I have since tried three drivers: 344.65 , 344.60, 344.48. And texture sizes don't affect performance for me, always play at ultra textures but for the sake of trying to fix this problem i tried to reduce the texture size and it didn't help...
  6. I uninstalled and did a clean install of nvidia 344.65 drivers. It still performs bad..
  7. My current PC Specs: CPU: i5-3230m GPU: GT 710m 2GB DDR3 RAM: 8GB DDR3 I've been getting FPS spikes ever since i bought Titanfall this week, Don't really know whats up with that and i thought it was the game but when i returned to BF3, it started to lag too. I'm getting an average of 45FPS but it would drop to 0 for a second and continue. It doesn't happen with games like naruto shippuden ultimate ninja storm revolution, Call of duty advanced warfare and borderlands pre sequel. Why does it happen with EA games? I've been able to play it without this lag spikes for a year now..
  8. Sorry for the late reply, I've been having exams ! And thanks for the help, i will use the money i got from the downgrade from i7 for a SSD
  9. Well, I'm really interested to join into the PC master race! After playing BF3 at 60FPS on my laptop with an external monitor and a keyboard and a mouse, i really must say PC gaming is really appealing to me. So I live in Singapore and for you guys to know what parts costs here and what parts are available, i found this price list from a shop which is renown for good service: fuwell.com.sg My current build: Processor: intel 4790k + Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3 $666 GPU : MSI GTX970 4GB Gaming GDDR5 $579 RAM: G-Skill RipJawX 1866MHz CL9 $125 HDD: Western Digital BLACK edition 7200RPM $100 PSU: Corsair CX600M Modular 600W 80+ Bronze $119 Case: Undecided Total: $1589 (without OS) I want this build to be future proof for about 4 years and be able to run games at 60FPS 1080p. Ultra preset is preferred but not mandatory. Can you guys help me with the case and replacing some parts for optimal results? Also, I won't be overclocking until i need a performance boost or when i start doing light editing and rendering.
  10. Maybe they dont have to send that far? Maybe there is some kind of hub which connects to them and receives the signals
  11. Favourite thing: That 3000mAh user replaceable battery. Damn Straight ! Other specs i fancy about this phone is Wireless AC connectivity, snapdragon 801 and that 13 megapixel laser focus camera, LG did it this time !
