  1. Hi everybody.Today when I came to turn my laptop, it booted into BIOS screen with "Press F2 to enter..", and then it switched to a black screen with two letters 'Y'..Now I have read a little bit on forums but didn't really find any solution.Specs: Acer Aspire 5745G (i7, 4GB RAM, Nvidia GT420).Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.Any help is much appricated!!Thank you.
  2. Wow, 1M sub's can't believe we reached this far, thank you Linus and the rest of the members for teaching me everything I know today about computers! Also, I would like to see even more video's about audio stuff like the reviews you did on the Schiit Magni/Modi, which I bought thanks to you! Again thank you very very very much for everything you've done! I remain, Ben.
  3. Well I just tried it and it keeps failing saying the system can't access a file blah blah , I then tried installing my anti virus to scan my system and the installer doesn't even load up, I think I have some kind of a virus, I'm just going to backup some of my important files and format my PC, have't done that in a long time so it's a good thing, thanks you for your time I really appreciate the help!
  4. Yes I did what you said, and when checking device manager the Mamba had a yellow triangle, I then deleted the device and the yellow triangle disappeared, still it does not work.
  5. I'm using an administrator account, Worth mentioning I have tried disabling my anti-virus aswell as uninstalling it. Tried different mouse, connecting it in the front aswell as the back, default BIOS settings different firmwares, no success either. Thanks for your help so far!
  6. Hello all, So last week I was updating my Razer Mamba and Blackwidow with the latest update it asked me to reconnect the devices and since then, any USB device I connect is recognized but not installed by windows properly and is not working. If I go to Device Manager and try to manually update the drivers it encounter a problem and says Windows found driver for your device.. Acces is denied. How do I fix this? Currently I'm working with my trusty ps/2 keyboard and no mouse. Windows 7 64bit, i7 2600 (stock), Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H, latest bios, 8gb ram Any help is much appreciated!
  7. I use the Rode Procaster Dynamic Microphone on the Rode PSM-1 shock mount and Rode PSA-1 Boom arm, hooked up to my Focusrite 2i2.
  8. Sorry if I made you upset or something like that, I didn't really mean to ;) I know those are not the best, it's just some choices i'm shouting out, though there are quite alot of people that suggest this. I have heared the ATH-M50 and I didn't really like them for gaming, I couldn't locate the footsteps as accurate as I usally do with other headphones, they are really good for music, but personally for gaming I don't like them.
  9. Hello everyone, i'll make it as quick as possible, Currently I have the Razer mamba 2012 edition, and was looking for a new mouse, my hand seats preety comfy on the mouse almost all the way to the end, tough my little and thumb fingers are kinda sliding on the mousepad. Maybe something like the Func MS-3 will correct this? Thanks for your help guys!
  10. Hm... a good noise canceling headphones for gaming? Maybe something like the Creative Aurvana Live?, maybe raise the budget a bit? say 200$?.
  11. Isn't Teufel like a really old company or i'm confusing with some other company? anyway seems very nice looking headphones, maybe a little review for us?, no? just me? :)
  12. Generally speaking external soundcard pickup less (if at all) electronic noise ( such as Graphic card, HDD) altrough they are driven via a USB cable (most likely) and do have some electronic noise, very little though. Because your using a 2.1 sound system and need to have the sub-woffer I dont really think there is a good enough external soundcard that can provide top tier quality to a 2.1 sound system, an Internal soundcard is better for your case, something like the Asus Xonar DG? (I have it, it's really good overall, i'm using it with my headphones and i'm really enjoying it, and from time to time I hook my Creative A320 to it and listening to some music), Sorry for a very confusing answer :/
