Why I love torrents in a nutshell:

    @VegetableStu I think maybe Brave but other than that no.

     

    WebTorrent Desktop is what I use and it supports the bittorrent mechanism. If you want it but without the desktop app part then they have WebTorrent and a website that uses WebTorrent technologies to do the downloading or seeding on the website itself.

     

    It's all OSS and good stuff.

    Weird, I find torrents to be slower usually. 

     

    Ironically I get the fastest speeds from Steam. Chrome, Origin, Blizzard and other clients always seem to be capped at around 50mbps, where as steam can pull about all 100mbps I'm allotted.

    Maybe, but I've noticed my downloads for Blizzard and Origins tend to be slower 9/10 times compared to steam.

    @TVwazhere Some ISPs throttle torrents or P2P activity when they recognize it.

    I was running a VPN so theoretically they couldnt tell unless they could tell up till the point where the data packet hit the VPN server. I wont pretend I know how it all works ?
