60c Watercooled 970 here max to 3.5gb vram. 45fps ish. Sounds normal to me

it's just the 3.5vram is kinda hiting the limit for me. gonna playing with surround when i get my last monitor, so just wondering an upgrade or sli . i know directx12 will be out soon and maybe the vram stack thing is real.

thats becuz dx12 might beAble to stack vram from sli if possiblEand thats probabbly the reason they release a 12gb vram card thats literally have no use for any game atm.

I have a 970 and all ur game can be handle by a single 970 in 1080p I ono what panel u playing so cant say much.

ur gpu purchased should always match ur monitor. If u game at 1080p 60hz theres lil to no benefit for sli, cuz u probabbly have 60fps on 90% of all the games. theres no reason for 400fps on a 60hz panel =.=

minmum fps directly refer to how good ur frametime is, like stutter or choppy. i would rather have a 45minimum fps with 60 average than 80 average and 24minimum. good thing u play at 5760x1080. as the gap between intel and amd become less minor when u play at a higher resolution.

If u can get titanx?? Why not lol 12gb vram is unbeatable. Yeh u might get a lil morefps right now for 1440p with 2 780ti but u will hit a limit in vram soon enough consider dx12 and game developers making high texture game That require more vram now ex: shadow of mordor.
