  1. Just some more info. Here's a picture of the bottle of the yellow c1000 that i just took out right now, this was used about 3 days ago when i filled my loop and i did shake the bottle before using the coolant. As you can see there is thick white settlement stuck at the bottom (could be from it being on the shelf for a long time) of the bottle as well it dripping down the bottle when i turned it over.
  2. Dunno if you've finished your watercooling setup yet or not. But i highly advise that you DO NOT use the themaltake c1000 coolant. Learn from my mistakes and others, I recently setup my whole custom watercooling loop with the EK Fluid Gaming A240G kit (its a whole aluminium kit with a GPU block) and initially used the thermaltake c1000 coolant in yellow. Upon researching online it seems that this fluid settles and ends up staining your tubing and blocks with white gunk in a matter of days. So i decided to test this settling by putting some of the coolant in a container, within 12h there is white settlement at the bottom, this is also evident in the bottom of the bottle (didnt notice this at first because yellow is such a bright colour) So after 2 days i ended up flushing the loop and using the EK Cryofuel which came with the kit, just incase... BUT it gets worse for me as i bought the primochill true infused from PLE (noticed that you linked PLE, a fellow Aussie?) just to read later that they dont recommend using it with aluminium products.... So now im stuck, trying to find a yellow fluid (transparent or opaque) that doesnt clog my stuff up or discolour (turned off by mayhems pastel after the jayztwocents thing... and mayhems is hard to find in Australia).
  3. I was going to wait for the MX Browns to come out as well, as my k70 was mx brown (the F4 key LED died so i was able to get a store credit refund and use that to get the k70 RGB ) but tbh after using mx reds i kinda like them better for gaming and the typing experience is relatively similar IMO. I kinda wish they'd released the K70 RGB with a gunmetal backplate cos thats what i had on my previous k70 and that was sexy.
  4. Got my K70 RGB yesterday, was wondering the same thing. Doing some research and found a thread on the corsair forums. Some claim that you need to call/email corsair support to provide proof of purchase then they will put you into a beta testing program for the software, other's said that there is no beta software and that corsair will officially release the software on the proper global release date 09/09/14. Im kinda bummed as the red and white (arrow-keys and wsad) does not match my setup at all. Also found a glitch with the K70 RGB out of the box, if you press the windows lock button, it changes from red to white in colour after you press it again and the 7 on my numpad also changed to white LOL
  5. The 2560x1440 IPS screen, knock code and them thin bezels are my favourite parts of this phone!
  6. I love the metal construction of my M7, so that + better an increase in volume and quality in the "BoomSound" speakers = upgrading to the M8
  7. I think you can use the built in BF4 fps reader to find the ingame fps. But thats pretty much it for benchmarking BF4 Mantle i think..... These are the commands, type into BF4 console: Show FPS: perfoverlay.drawfps true Hide FPS: perfoverlay.drawfps false
  8. To my eyes Mantle hasn't really made much of a significant difference in performance when switching between it and DX11 in BF4, i have a Sapphire R9 280X Vapor-x and am running BF4 on ultra settings 1080p. But this might not be the same for other games though. And since DX12 should be coming out in a couple of years I'd go get a GTX 770 right now. As it does offer a better software package, runs cooler, and g-sync which IMO is the killer feature of Nvidia cards right now, now just to wait for g-sync monitors to arrive. But hey, if you do find a 280X which is significantly cheaper then a 770 then go for it, both are good cards and perform similarly (thats how it was for me, found my 280X for a killer deal and couldn't resist)
  9. If i remember correctly i think it was an EK universal waterblock, which isnt full cover. So thats pretty useless.
  10. Hey guys, i am currently looking into upgrading my current rig to be fully custom water cooled and i was wondering if anybody knows a full waterblock with a full backplate which will fit over my Spphire R9 280X Vapor X video card. Been searching and Google'ing around but it seems that there's is no waterblock for it, i found one which is "compatible" with the Sapphire HD7970 GHz Edition Vapor X. Seeing as they are both basically the same video card will that waterblock fit? Specifically i want a full cover waterblock and a full backplate because i want to cover that ugly turquoise PCB.
  11. For those saying this is "pointless" and a "repost", are you happy now? It now being a proper post in the proper thread and not a repost......... It was just easier for me to make a repost to the original post i made in the PC gaming thread, because i had already typed up everything and not all people in the console thread would be looking in the PC gaming section as well. Oh and i do know that Titanfall is going to be in open beta for xbox one soon (correct me if it is already out), but those who really want to play the game right now here you are....
  12. and then there's those who say "why post in the wrong thread" im trying to just tell people incase they do want a key.
  13. Titanfall Xbox One Beta Keys. Xbox One: 27HDV-WCQ44-7XJDK-Q3J49-PPT2Z Xbox One: FP244-VRRRH-VDFQD-V3JY2-9977Z -> not 100% sure if this one works or not, was the first code I received but I had signed up for a PC beta code and got this Xbox One code instead. If you are lucky enough to get the beta key(s) please post saying you received it and specify which code you received so I can close the thread.
  14. nice grats
  15. Hey Guys I received an extra Titanfall PC Beta key and since I have no use for it, you guys can have it. I will be removing some of the letters/digits in the full key and putting them below. You will have to place the letters/digits in the right order to receive the correct key. Its not that hard.... [TAKEN] PC: D( )SA-U( )63-WWR( )-( )YQG-GQ( )E Missing Letters/Digits: 5, M, L, E, 2 If you are lucky enough to get the beta key please post saying you received it and specify which code you received so I can close the thread.
