So I bought a Xbox 360 controller (wired) about a year ago to use on my PC to use for certain games like Rocket League. It worked fine until about 2-3 weeks ago. It started randomly switching from player to player 2 or 3 meaning I didn't have input anymore. I've tried multiple solutions like installing a program called usbdeview which could supposedly block the player 2 and 3 addresses meaning it couldn't switch to it anymore, but it didn't work, it would switch to player 2 or 3 anyway. I've also tried deleting and then reinstalling the drivers, that would work for a few minutes and then switch again. Some people also said that windows own troubleshooter had worked for them, but I didn't have any luck with it. If anyone knows a solution to this, I would be very grateful. -SV4NL

I know I know, keyboard and mouse all the way... but, some games i cant play without a controller. My PS3 controller broke this week and I need a new controller for games like Rocket League. My budget is kind of tight at the moment so I picked out a few sharp-priced controller with their respective pricing in my country: Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller € 35,94 By most people regarded as the best PC controller. Seems like the best bang for the buck and best controller of these in general, the only thing that has me kind of skeptical is that I have always played on playstation controllers and that i might not like the layout. If anyone faced the same situation please tell me. Logitech F310 € 29,99 This controller has a lot of positive reviews and has the same layout as a PS3 controller Gioteck VX-2 € 21,98 Cheapest controller, cant find a lot of reviews on it. If there is anyone who has this controller please tell me what you think of it. So if anyone has faced the same situation with the playstation to xbox controller switch please tell me because that has the most influence on this decision. -SV4NL

Pc not booting after swapping out a OLD boot drive
SV4NL replied to SV4NL's topic in Troubleshooting
ok, I think i found the solution on another website: http://www.tomsguide.com/answers/id-2980020/ssd-replaced-hdd-boot.html with the solution: " As a guess, I think that when you installed windows on your ssd, you had a hard drive attached. If so, Windows would have placed a hidden recovery partition on that drive. When you removed that hard drive and it's recovery partition, you would not be allowed to boot.if you have the room, reinstall the harddrive and add your new SSD (HDD in my case) elsewhereWhen installing windows, things get much easier if no other drives are attached, and the recovery partition will be placed on the windows drive." How do I reinstall a harddrive? do I need to repartition the hdd or? -
I have had this problem before on a phone of mine, tried to look for solutions but I had to send it to RMA in the end.

What do you mean by insert a install media. do you mean an usb drive which can install Windows on a pc? -
So I got a new harddrive today, I swapped it in for an old boot drive that was no longer used to boot from since I got my SSD. However when I try to boot from my SSD now it states: "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" I changed nothing in my boot order or anything, yet it cant boot from my SSD. Something worth noting is that previously the thing to boot from in the boot order was "windows boot manager" in the uefi. but it is nowhere to be found in the boot order in the uefi now. I hope this made sense and thanks in advance. - SV4NL System specs: Intel core i5 4690k MSI Z97-G45 Motherboard Nvidia GeForce Gtx 770 videocard Corsair 550 watt powersupply (dont know exactly which anymore) Samsung 850 evo SSD WD caviar green 1TB HDD WD enterprise 2TB HDD (new HDD) WD velociraptor 350 GB HDD (old HDD)

Something really funky happend, i tried to boot from the ssd and got into windows when loading my dekstop my screens started flashing i could open taskmanger this time and after some time the desktop loaded then after a minute or so it started flashing again in that minute i was able to go to my browser to type this but couldnt because my keyboard sort of went along with the flashing and only registered some of the keystrokes so i decided to boot from my hdd again (which i never unplugged) and to my surprise when i wanted to type this message there was already a bit of text typed in from when i wanted to type this booted from the ssd. this made me wonder if somehow the drives are clonflicting with each other? please let my know your thougths. ~SV4NL
