  1. Hey guys, Recently built a new Ryzen PC, but am having some audio issues with my front IO. Like what the title says, changing the windows master volume does not seem to change the headphone volume on my front headphone jack, which seems to be constantly pinned on 100%. This is even after Re-installing latest drivers from the manufacturers website. Volume on the back IO is fine. Below are some observations that I have made: 1. Realtek HD Audio manager (default settings) does not recognise it when my headphone or mic is plugged in at the front - the front panel ports remain greyed out when the plugs are in - headphone works, but is constantly blasting at full volume - Mic is not recognised in skype or audacity, so cannot be used or tested in this scenario 2. When I disable front audio jack detection in audio manager, both jacks are never greyed out and - headphone works, but is constantly blasting at full volume (no change) - Mic can now be detected in audacity I have tested this with a different front IO panel and the same symptom is found. Below are my specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 1500x Mobo: ASRock AB350 Pro4 AM4 ATX Motherboard RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR4 2400MHz GPU: Gigabyte GTX1060 HDD: Seagate ST1000DM010 1TB BarraCuda 3.5" SSD: Kingston SSDNow UV400 120GB PSU: Antec VP-600P Case: Gigabyte 3d Aurora (yes, old case - also tested front (Top) IO from ft03 mini) OS: Win 10 Pro x64 I think I've ruled out an issue with the case, could this be an early driver issue, or could it possibly be a mobo hardware defect? What do you guys think? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Definitely the blade 14, would be great all round laptop for gaming and work
  3. currently have a 7950, wanting to do a watercooled mini itx build in the ft03 mini, but my cards too long, a polaris would be perfect
  4. Hey guys, getting a weird problem with my motherboard at the moment. I have been getting the below recently whenever I try and start my PC: The data in the EC or EC flash might be corrupted. Please contact ASUS Technical Support for help. System will Shutdown in 15 sec Below are my Specs P8P67 PRO 2700K HD7570 Kingston 8GB Ram Antec HCG 520 I have tried booting the system with nothing connected to it (no connector besides main mobo power and atx power on another known working 500W psu) and reset cmos and replaced the cmos battery and the message still comes up. I have also replaced the BIOS chip with a new one, which is where the weird part comes in. The system would get into UEFI with no problem the first time I start the system, but once I exit it, the same message comes up and I cant access the UEFI or do anything with the system. This has happened to 2 BIOS chips. Any Idea what is wrong with my motherboard? Any help would be appreciated.

  6. thanks for the giveaway guys! If i win the 5820, I'll finally replace my current p45 system with a new x99 build. Will probably find some way to mount my ifx14 on it though, love that thing. might get into photoshop, after effect and all the creative stuff with this new found powahh
  7. the EDG750. always been a big fan of antec psus. This one in particular looks great, is quiet and have great efficiency (and because ive been looking to replace my current for a while)
  8. The performance on both cards look solid and silence is definitely a plus. the design on the omega is alright, not the biggest fan of the carbon fibre finish on the extreme though, wouldve looked better if it was metal or even just textured black plastic.
  9. I still remember the first video that i watched from your channel, it was the unboxing of the cogage arrow. That video wasnt that great tbh, in fact, i dont even know why i subscribed after watching it. but you guys have come a long way since then and are now making some of the best tech contents on youtube. while i do miss your old style sometimes, i do more often appreciate the new changes. keep it up
  10. my favorite thing about the z2 is the 20mp camera. should remove the need (to some extent) of a point and shoot camera. dbrand is awesome because their skins look awesome. I'm personally not a big fan of cases, and its good to see someone offering high quality skin that offers some form of protection while maintaining good looks
  11. as shallow as it sounds, my favourite thing about the phone is its looks, the thin bezel along with the brushed plastic material is a real winner i think
  12. as advised, i set the fsb at 200. i also upped the cpu/nb voltage, problem seems to be gone for now, ill post back if the instability comes back. thanks
