  2. On the 5th of May 2013 marks the biggest tragedy for us, all Malaysians. It is the day of our 13th General Election and we all are very disappointed with what our government has done and how they have treated the democratic system. Barisan Nasional, a coalition which had ruled the nation since independence about 56 years ago, was continuously accused of purchasing votes by exhausting large amount of liquidity, controlling national media streams and just recently, exposed of ferrying large quantity of foreign citizens (speculated over 600,000) into the polling stations in order to corrupt the outcome of the election. These foreign citizens, mostly consisting of Bangladeshis, were given instant citizenship and cash to vote for Barisan Nasional no more than a week ago. During the time of election, there had been reported many cases that the foreigners are causing trouble in their respective polling stations. These so called 'Phantom voters' were hurting the local residents by throwing objects such as motorcycle helmets and even coconuts after being provoked and insulted for being non-Malaysian. Yet, security guards and policemen didn't even bother to stop them. When the election has officially closed at 5pm, the counting of votes began and the whole nation was waiting for the results to be announced. Later that evening, there had been an electrical blackout in several areas where a vote counting station is located. As a result, majority of the votes and seats that belonged to the opposition were gone in just that period of time. Furthermore, a number of policemen were involved in bringing in extra ballot boxes just to trail the votes won by the opposition. Many of our people are really disappointed and can't do anything about this situation. The election process was illegally manipulated and controlled by the people of Barisan Nasional through fraud votes with the support of our Prime Minister Najib Razak. He also claims that the election was fair and clean even though there had been quite a number of supporting evidence of the fraud throughout the social media. Najib Razak's Official Facebook page: http://goo.gl/RY9E0 As stated above, Barisan Nasional has dictated our country since its beginning, but we wanted change. In fact, even though most of our people voted against Barisan Nasional, Barisan Nasional which starts of as the losing party had their scores skyrocketed that evening and finally won the 13th Malaysian General Election, and will continue to dictate our country until the next election, or most probably, forever, thanks to the dirty tricks Barisan Nasional employs. Also, the trend in announcing the winners for each area is suspicious as well. For example, voting results for the state of Sarawak, the stronghold for Barisan Nasional, hits the media first. The stronghold for the opposition party, the state of Penang was not announced even when the counting process has been completed. To show our disappointment with regards to this election, we have changed our profile picture on social network sites to pure black, some with captions, to demonstrate our silent protest. If we were to go out on the streets to protest, we fear that there will be bloodshed everywhere as to what had happened back in 13th May 1969, where thousands were severely injured and if not, killed as a result of the opposition obtaining victory in the election. We want our voices to be heard. We don't want to be fooled anymore. Because election no longer represents our decision, and democracy no longer means anything to us. Hence we seek for a justice through international acts. We have signed various petition, we have tried all our ways for justice. Malaysia is a very corrupted country, and our government doesn't seem to be doing anything to reduce it. In fact, they are making it even worse. We need the help of others. There is no point in trying to solve this on our own, as Barisan Nasional will most definitely employ their dirty tricks against us. At this very moment, many of us are constantly spamming President Barack Obama's Facebook page as well as the inbox of the United Nations, the Department of Justice etc. with help letters regarding this situation. Here are some of the petitions: http://goo.gl/c4LzP http://goo.gl/j3wzs You are our last hope. Please save Malaysia, our country and our future. Thank You.

Thanks! There's four photos in this post, but somehow the last three aren't showing as images, instead they're just showing as an 'a'. How do I fix this?
