  1. Open back headphones are good as well the ad500x won't have the m50xs bass but in the mids and the treble it is much more detailed and soundstage is just exceptional
  2. I have misread it sorry however you can still find much better options for less like the m40x that sound Bradley identical for 50$ less or the shure srh440(+840 pads if you can) And for more again the 770 just destroies the m50x.
  3. This is really becoming a trend the m50x is not a good gaming headphone it got no soundstage you can get a much better headphone for gaming for less or for slightly more if the op can expand his budget the beyerdynamic dt770 will be phenomenal
  4. if you need closed the dt770+ mod mic is also good
  5. Not a good headphone for gaming. Get a pair of audio technics ath ad500x plus mod mic or hyper x clouds 1
  6. You got to admit John cena phone prank is awsome though
  7. For edm and PPP I think the v moda m100 is an easy winner for closed back headphones. For open the x2 is Also very good
  8. Well than you should really just get the hyper x cloud Version 1
  9. They are terrible add a little bit for the clouds or just get Gemini hsr 1000 with clip on mic
  10. Get the clouds 1 the version 2 is just overpriced.
  11. If you can find them in your price point sennheiser ampirior are phenomenal yes thier in ear but they are reall comfortable and are on par with 300$ over ears sound wise. Shure srh440+ 840 pads is another good option
  12. V moda m80 are very nice and will probably fit your needs.
  13. Those are excellent options do note the dt770 isn't really portable I don't quite remember the specs but it might be a little hard to drive also looks and cable might be a slight turn off but aside from that a great choice.
  14. Well v moda xs are fairly balanced they aren't over ear but they are very comfortable and are extremely portable
  15. The m70x is really not a dj headphone and it doesn't really matter what catgory a headphone is meant to how it sounds is what really matter
  16. Not really the ath m line is known to have narrow soundstage that is almost non existent you're much better off buying a good pair of open back headphones Around the price of the m20x you got the superluxs a closed alternative would be the Gemini hsr1000 which is essentially the hyper x cloud.
  17. You can try the m70x they are more comfortable than the msr7 the m70x are less bassy and have less colored midrange treble is very similar.
  18. +1 to is had recommendation if you want maybe a closed back headphone the mrspeakers mad dogs Are 250$ and they are outstanding.
  19. Well than a pair of hyperz cloud will also be good although I'm almost sure You can fit the ad700x with a moov mix under 175 and if not the ad500x is nearley identical. Also the shure combo with the moov mic will also fit there keep in mind the moov mic is 20$. If everything doesn't fit the hyper x cloud is a great option.
  20. You am should look into a good pair of headphones with a mic dt770/990 with a clip on mic will be a great combo. If you want a better mic than maybe a pair of audio technica ath ad700x with a mod mic will be a good open back option. For closed a pair of Shure srh440 with a set of 840 ear pads will work great with s mod mic.
  21. The hd8dj is all right in comfort but doesn't sound really good the mid range got a very wired sound to it as if you listened through a towel. The dt770 is super comfy one of the best out there.
  22. I can't tell you how much I agree with you on the guide that counters the bad and recommend the good. Anyway for the op if you can save an extra 100$ I would recommend saving for the oppo pm 3 it is phenomenal. If you can't +1 for mad dogs
