    Didn't think of that, it could potentially be the issue. Sadly, if that were the issue - I would have to return for repair, which can be a drawn out process. I wouldn't be okay with myself taking off the cooler and replacing the paste, mainly due to warranty.

    Where I am the 1060 6GB is exactly the same price as the RX 480 8GB, with the 4GB being only $40 AUD cheaper.

    It would be possible to remove the water cooler though and replace it with a fan cooler? It's not a full system water cooler only a CPU one.
