  1. Only one of the hdmi ports on the tv is compatible with 4K@60HZ. Well that's annoying. I already got a replacement because on the first cable on of the pins broke as i inserted it for the first time.
  2. Works fine if i switch back to the old cable...
  3. I linked the new cable in the post, it should work. The old cable is even cheaper and i bought it from china like 5 years ago, can't believe it works but not the new cable.
  4. I swaped out a 2 meter HDMI cable for a 3 meter HDMI cable. I have a displayport - hdmi adapter and then the hdmi cable is connected to my Samsung 4K tv. When using the old 2m cable I am able to get 4K@60Hz by creating a Custom Resolution in Nvidia Control Panel with CVT reduced blank as standard. But when I change the HDMI cable to my new 3m cable the tv says no signal. I have tried removing the old custom resolution and making a new one but nothing changed, still no signal on the tv. 4K@30Hz works fine though. I have a GTX660. Does any one know how I might get the new cable to work properly?
  5. Thanks for doing this review Linus! I am a big fan of Sonos and I am glad you have discovered the benefits of it! But it is a real shame that you didn't get to try it with Spotify, because thats when it really gets to shine! I am looking forward to part 2! The Play:5 has a 3,5 mm input which let you connect any device and then you select line in on your app and it will play that. You can then group all the other speakers you have and they will play the music from the line in on the Play:5. If you have a Connect or Playbar you can also do this, the Connect has dual rca input and the Playbar has optical input. For example if you have your tv sound connected via optical to the Playbar, the rest of your speakers can be grouped to it and the tv sound can be played throughout your house. Spoilers: The wireless functionality works just as good as wired. If you connect your Sonos Bridge to your router then none of your speakers need to be connected via ethernet and can be placed wherever you want. Not really, you need one of the speakers with an audio input. Something like the Sonos Connect, and then you should get any speakers you want to connect to that. So you can't really do a complete pc speaker system from just sonos gear, but there are ways to get around. After that you can plobably add Play:1s to get surround. More about the in the next video apparently. The Sonos system needs to be connected to ethernet to work. Either you get a Sonos Bridge or you place one speaker where you can connect ethernet. The Sonos creates it's own wireless system and does not use wifi if you connect more speakers to your system. You can connect your Pandora account to Sonos and play whatever you want. Yes, you can use different sources in different rooms. If you have a spotify account connected you can even use the same account to play different music in different rooms! But note if you want to play music of someones phone they either need to be connected to the wifi and have the sonos app and connect it to your sonos system, or you need a Sonos device which has an audio input, like Play:5 or Connect.
  6. The software and speakers are amazing!
  7. I have never brought any thing from ebay, shipping to sweden is usually difficult so I use amazon. It is up to you if you are comfortable with buying from ebay. The thing you can look for on ebay is Blue Snowball non iCE, that version has 3 different settings on the back and a metal stand where you can adjust the height better then the iCE version. Look up some reviews on youtube to decide what you want to buy.
  8. You can see some pictures on amazon. You can adjust the height a little, the lowest is around 18 cm and tallest about 22 cm for the whole mic.
  9. The Blue Snowball iCE is £47 on amazon if you are willing to stretch the budget a little. But it is without pop filter, you can get one cheap on amazon as well. That's what i would recomend. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Microphone-Snowball-iCE-Adjustable/dp/B006DIA77E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1392457767&sr=8-1&keywords=blue+snowball
  10. I would not try and update to that firmware, write back to them to make sure that they havn't made a mistake. If you look at the D-Link website there doesn't seem to be any firmware updates released for the DIR-501, http://support.dlink.com/ProductInfo.aspx?m=DIR-501 With such a low end router you shouldn't be surprised that there are no software updates. If you continue having issues with your router I would suggest that you buy a new one.
  11. It is probably easier to get the H220 and that will probably be enough cooling for your cpu unless you are doing some massive overclocking. If you are making a custom loop then you could add radiators in the front/bottom/back! I'm not sure how much the pump is capable of pumping through many rads, but it looked good in that CES video Linus made a year a go or so.
  12. There is nothing illegal with the program itself no matter where you live, and if you live in a country where this isn't allowed then it is up to that person living there not to join the group. So that isn't a problem. The Files will be stored on every persons hard drive who are participating in the group. You can not be sure that only people from this forum uses it does probably not matter if other people get the key for the sync, it will probably never be a "LTT Unofficial sync group" The service will not be shut down because it is just normal P2P. There is no encryption needed unless you have documents you don't want people to change text. The storage that is provided is the total storage of the person with the most hard drive space. The advantage is that it is a free could. A web interface would probably be very difficult to set up but might be interesting to look in to, i don't know. You should look in to it, there is a lot of cool things you can do!
  13. Me and my friend have our films synced over BitTorrent Sync and it is good. But the problem is probably that you will have to have people that you trust not to put in horrible stuff and neither deleting stuff, even tough it gets placed in the hidden .SyncArchive folder. It will probably be a big waste of bandwidth for massive files people place in it for no reason. I would be a part of it just because it is fun.
