    You said you wanted 1080p at 60fps, you could go with a gtx960 and still be golden.

    Look at something like lubuntu or linux mint xfce if you want a full os. If you want a os that is designed just for use as a htpc then look into something like kodi. Those distros are designed to run on older hardware pretty well, anything else would probably run like windows 7 is for you now.

    I'm not too sure. I know that when I put Ubuntu on a separate HDD, I always had to go into my bios and choose which os i wanted to boot into. I didn't want to dual boot. The only circumstance I know where the boot up will let you pick which os, is if you were to dual boot two different versions of windows off the same storage device.

    It probably won't give you the option to select which os. You are going to have to go into your boot manager on every boot up on your own and select which os you need.

    I am at work and need to move files over to a USB but when I try to open it, it just tells me access denied. Is it possible for the administrator to block access to the ports on the computer?

    Just thought I would let everyone know, that I am currently in the process of attempting to convert one of my longtime Xbox loving friends over to the PCMasterRace. I've been planting the seed in his ear for a while and he is slowly showing more and more interest. He keeps asking questions about it, and you can see it in his eyes. Hopefully just a little longer.

    Are you running Windows 8.1? I had that same issue this morning. The Lenovo logo would show, then it would go gray for about a minute and then start up normal. I wasn't having this issue yesterday.

    Did your motherboard come with any plastic washers? I had the same problem when I first installed mine. The issue was that the standoffs didn't allow the block to apply as much pressure as possible. I slipped those onto the back of the motherboard between the standoffs and MOBO. After that everything looked good.
