Fucking LOL...looks like GTX 1080ti value on the used market might get back up a bit after these reviews this morning...havn't watched all of it but basically

GTX 1080ti = RTX 2080 in terms of performance...1080ti even often coming on top :P

This is firestrike graphics core performance

    Yeah it really looks like we're well into the "minimum gains for maximum cost" territory...

    So glad I bought the 1080ti. I bought it used but it came with the original receipt and all original packaging :D

    Poor guy needed some money so I got it for $500 usd.

    @DVA 500$ that's a very good deal for such performance this morning :D

    Yeah my non RTX 1080ti will do just fine xDxD

    @DVA i don't know what model you got...but if it's a factory overclocked card with a decent cooler on it, it's faster than RTX 2080 across the board...here is a good review i think because Paul used a Strix 1080ti...at stock clocks mind you, but still it represent better what you get on a 1080ti so long as you don't buy the blower cooler nvidia cards, which MOST reviewers used for testing...GTX 1080ti overall in all his testing is a fair bit faster...those new cards are very disapointing and i feel sorry for people who preordered them.

    Damn, I was hoping to get cheaper used 1080 Tis as render cards. Ouch

    @scottyseng well, i would buy one right now...paid 700$CAD for mine last week...high end model in perfect condition...i expect some people to cancel pre-order and remove their adds and keep 1080ti...others will raise the price for sure when you get better than RTX 2080 performance on them.

    Ah, I don't have the funds to get another one at the moment (I was hoping to buy one later in hopes people would be switching over the new stuff). It definitely was worth waiting for reviews before anyone bought the 2xxx series for sure though.

    What's the worst - the 1080Ti costed the same MSRP as the 2080 with the same performance after over 2 years of Pascal?? Damn it but it seems not that good of a deal. Especially that 1080Tis got cheaper than MSRP nowadays.

    And the 2080Ti is obviously a lot faster, but it's also a lot more expensive and costs the same as a Titan card.

    @Morgan MLGman2080ti is indeed a step above, but it's not ''A lot'' faster especially if you consider price...it's not even a 30% boost...reviewers used trash founder edition blower cards for the 1080ti, and the new founders edition RTX is way better and it doesn't throttle as much and the clocks are higher and more stable...here what it looks like when you use a GOOD 1080ti for testing...check those numbers, even a 3rd party EVGA XC 2080ti ain't that much faster...i mean, it goes from 10 to 11.5...for 1600$...for this kind of money i would expect it to at least go from 10 to 15 or something...it looks more like a 15% boost over a good 1080ti to me...which is AWEFUL for a 2 generation, 2 years update cycle.

    @i_build_nanosuits Have you seen this?

    2080Ti is 23% faster across 35 games than a 1080Ti, a 2080 is 1% faster across 35 games than a 1080Ti. These are 1440p results...

    i_build_nanosuits

    @Morgan MLGmanyes but the point it, they are still using a shit crap blower founders edition 1080ti...i run those benchmarks on my system, i can guarantee you even with my crap 4770K i outbench them results in no time flat.

    Yikes, that superposition score is only 13% faster than my 1080 Ti...even when you take into account that I bought it at inflated prices during the crypto era at $850 it still beats the shit outta the 2080 Ti on a value basis xD
