friends thought he was going to win because he had a more chiseled body i face palmed so hard  

both are amateurs, But between the both i'd say Logan actually has some good & accurate form, he can move & dodge real good, you can see it in his jabs & ring work. meanwhile you see how KSI swing? it's like he's trying to catch a fly. there is the classical 'hook' & then there's the KSI version on hook called  imma give you a wide hug by swinging my arms all thew way out. but he has quick explosive motion at close range unlike logan that can land quick body shots.

judging from what you said logan is trying to use his height advantage and ksi is trying to close the distance due to him being shorter therefor having a better idea on what to do on the inside . 

Look at this, KSI was throwing & missing heavily all over , Logans accuracy is more in terms of attempted & landed punches.

Looks like if it wasn't for the negative 2 points he would've won.
